whoo!! it's really been a long time since i posted.. the more I wanted to keep my blogs alive and to update my readers about may day to day agendas.. my time isn't just enough. I even have to catch up on my scraps... I missed so many important events.. and for now I would like to share my layout last christmas.. It is the first time that my in-laws would be visiting us for christmas... so I have prepared something for them.. just hope they did like it.. hehehe

Last week has been a long week for me, I had to finish a wedding layout and I had received some harsh comments which really hurt my feelings, although I really wanted to burst into anger - I am thankful that I didn't, God has been dealing with me and I can proudly say that I think I am maturing in my spiritual Life, I have set aside my personal pride and though my old sinful nature wanted to burst out and answer back! I have managed to calm myself and chose to keep silent.

This week has been a week of meditation and self evaluation, how do my Christian life affects my fellow Christians and most specially the non-Christians around me, Is my testimony enough to lead others to Christ? or even my fellow Christians consider me as a stumbling block? Dealing with attitude is I think the most difficult to handle.

This week I have learned the danger and the damage a tongue can make, guarding every words that come out of my mouth. "I have asked God to “set a guard” over my mouth and “keep watch over the door” of my lips (Psalm 141:3). I wish that every words I say promote life, and not destruction because what we say affects others. “There is one who speaks like the piercings of a sword,” says Proverbs 12:18. But what we may overlook is the effect our reckless words have on us. When we gossip, or when we malign others, our words begin to ruin us, for we gratify the evil that is in us and strengthen it until it overthrows us".

This week I have asked the Lord, how come after so many years, I still have to experience this similar predicament? 10 years ago when I was a new Christian, (I was still a young people then) I have been accused of something I didn't do, I have received harsh comments and statements, I heard gossips about me, Is that the way to nourish a baby Christian in Faith? Looking back, reminiscing all the pains, the rocky roads, the stumbling blocks which God has put into my way ---- I have won the battles. But I have to ask the second time, after all those experiences and tests, have I learned my lesson??? So that is why - God is molding my character close to perfection - close to Christ-like character.

Let me share with you this devotional I have read:

It's been estimated that a talkative person may speak 30,000 words a day! But the important question is, how do our words, whether many or few, affect others?

A Greek philosopher asked his servant to cook the best dish possible. The servant, who was very wise, prepared a dish of tongue, saying, "It's the best of all dishes, for it reminds us that we may use the tongue to bless and express happiness, dispel sorrow, remove despair, and spread cheer."

Later the servant was asked to cook the worst dish possible. Again, he prepared a dish of tongue, saying, "It's the worst dish, for it reminds us that we may use the tongue to curse and break hearts, destroy reputations, create strife, and set families and nations at war."

We don't have to eat tongue to grasp that servant's point. But we may have to "eat our own words" quite often before we learn to avoid saying things we'd like to retract. Solomon wrote: "The tongue of the wise promotes health" (Proverbs 12:18). It affirms and encourages others. The key word in that verse isn't tongue but wise. The tongue is not in control, but the person behind it is.

Ride-all-you-can at Starcity! Is it worth it???

Star City is one of the best Amusement Park here in the Philippines - - - I myself believes that too - It was before I thought Enchanted Kingdom should be chosen before Star City - but I can say with all the improvements and additional rides Star City have - your ride-all-you-can here is worth it!! so lately, Star City is gaining more popularity than Enchanted Kingdom - which I think Star City is abusing specially during the Holiday Season.
Some decisions can be real frustrating.. last January 2, 2009. My hubby decided that we go for starcity together with his family instead of a picnic at tagaytay (the weather that time is really cold). We left late since we have no choice but to accommodate customers that day at our shop. His sister told him that they wanted to go home, maybe because they have been waiting for more than 2 hours, but he insisted that they wait patiently since we are on our way. After arriving at starcity, we can see a flock of people at the entrance, there were long lines on the cashier, eager to enter despite the continous coming of different families who wanted to enjoy the new year at an amusement park. We thought that after arriving we would just be paying our entrance fees, but i am dismayed...
We decided on a 2 "RIDE-ALL-YOU-CAN" and 3 entrance fee since 3 cheers are for 3 rides only why not go for a ride-all-you-can with a P50.00-peso price difference . I decided not to go for a ride-all-you-can since it would cost us too much already. After paying - I am relieved! I thought Finally! we were able to enter! but just a few steps away , we can already see the last person falling in line just to enter the dino and snow world. --- so how long will it takes before we can finally enter??
so we tried to see the other rides with short lines.. atlast! we're lucky enough to enter the Peterpan's Adventures - but instead of having our niece enjoy the adventure she was frightened with the dummy characters inside!! hahaha... so we started looking for some rides again...
We wanted Aya (my hubby's niece) to enjoy our stay so they went for a playground for toddlers (also inside starcity) for almost 20 minutes i guess... after that - there is no single ride available - we tried to go for a bump car - we're almost halfway - which took us almost 30mins waiting for a 3mins ride when my sister in law finally blurted that they wanted to go home (oh wow!! haha) Aya is asleep and she wanted to give her comfort by heading home.
My foosteps are hard - heading to the exit - with 2 ride-all-you-can tickets which in the end were not even used to ride not even three rides - this is really frustrating. We waisted our money - we haven't enjoyed it since there were so many people in the park that you even bump with one another just by walking on the hallways. long queing on rides - most probably it would take you 30-45mins falling in line for a very short 3-minute ride so that they can accomodate everybody.
I can say that STARCITY IS A CHEAT! they should'nt be selling unlimited ride-all-you-can tickets to its customers when they have reached such number of visitors. IT IS NOT WORTH IT! or atleast they would inform their customers that ride-all-you-can tickets cannot be accomodated any longer! it is to the customers choice if they still insisted on getting one despite the warning, right?
STARCITY should also know their park's capacity! the place is totally full packed! I even thought I was walking along divisoria! it is such a waste.
I think I should frame that wrist ticket from star city!

hello! I am striving to make another freebie for all of you before this year ends.. it's been a while since my last post... there's a lot of things to do these past days.. the last minute shopping!! (as if I have a lot to shop! hee hee!!) last week, We have been very busy preparing our surprise video for our pastor! A month ago, I told one of our church workers that I am planning of taking a video of our church members' birthday greetings to our pastor: they have to describe him in one word or an adjective that best describes him, secondly they have to say what is the most memorable teaching they have heard on our pastor's preachings and how they have applied it on their lives and thirdly! of course their birthday greetings in one sentence!! hee hee. Me and my hubby is really glad that we were able to finish the video.. although we didn't make it on our morning service (aw.. sads) we still manage to make it on our afternoon fellowship. It's our year-ender party... there's a lot to prepare and look forward to for the coming year!! Hope He liked what we have prepared for him.

Christmas this year is different... different because my in-laws atlast! found the time to visit us! my hubby's christmas is complete since we were able to celebrate it with his family.. I prepared carbonara for them (I'm not really good at cooking... well... atleast I've tried my best right!! hehehe) although I'm not sure wether they liked it or not.. (there's a lot of leftovers.. awww)

Ok! that is me.. trying to look like a pro!! hahaha LOLz.. I really have to ask my hubby to take some photos of me while cooking! feeling like a chef! hehehe. And that's our new gas range! (whoo I think I have to take a good shot on that next time!) that comes with a range hood too, but we haven't installed it yet. our old tecnogas gas range have to bid goodbye after its 25years of service to us (whoa!!) we bought that 3 weeks ago! Another blessing, not to brag about but to thank the Lord for!!

and because I am very thankful for this holiday season, here's my last christmas kit for all of you! Yuletide Traditions! :) I love the frame!! weee hope you enjoy it! BUT BEFORE THAT

I am very happy! finally I have my first 2 albums finished, I think I will give myself some break from this layouting jobs.. hahaha... I need to focus on my online money making goals.. I have to make this blog alive!! just what my cyber friend's latest blog post is all about! but what can I do.. I am not really a writer, I had this blog all because of my passion in digital scrapbooking! I thought having thousands of traffic is hard.. but not hard at all! very very hard!! hehehe.. I hope I can be a good designer and later on be known in the scrapbooking world. and I think while waiting for that I need more practice huh? lol!

Ok, I just got my credit card a month ago, it was a surprise cause although I was wishing I could apply for a credit card I didn't even bother filing an application for it.. I got a mail encouraging me to get one the next day I got an authorization letter to finally accept the card and the following day I got my card! whoa! very fast huh?

I've been praying for wisdom from God, when I first knew about this scrapbooking sites selling goodies online, I wished to be a designer myself specifically on digital scrapbooks and wanted to create my own kits and eventually sell it! Just like other designers do! I 've signed up on paypal.. asked questions from my friends about online selling and other stuffs and prayed for God's wisdom. There's so many online scams I've read about and I'm getting precautions so I would'nt get scammed myself (haha who would want to get scammed right?)

I've read about online selling, studied how to sell online.. and practiced designing! and while waiting, I've created this blogs and websites preparing myself for what I wish to do. I've joined contests and challenges to exercise my skills and ability to design... I'm still not so prepared for this and finally! here it is! I got my credit card instantly.. should I say this is God's answer to my prayers?? I could'nt measure God's faithfulness! He is superb!

I've figured it out how'd they do that!! LOLz!! how to put a "buy now", "pay now", "donate" buttons on my blogs and websites!! (although for some you would say it's chicken! even a first grader can do that! but in my country where technology is kinda late, It's one great achievement.. hahaha) I'm really getting excited! I'm looking forward to more of what God would do!

Yes, I am happy but kind of a little frustated about my issues on online purchases.. I'm getting so much transaction errors.. and still figuring out what could be the problem.. and I'm a little confused why my freebies aren't getting advertised...so as of now I've prepared a little freebie for you! ADC Regional Talentfest - a success and a failure...

hello, I know this is kind of late but as usual, I got busy with so many stuff... I got a chance to layout our Talentfest just recently, and now I have the time to share it with you guys too!!

This year's talentfest is another heartbreak for us! We started practicing months before, scheduled practices during workdays, and some of us including me and my hubby even skipped work just to give time to this year's fight.. some of the results are real frustrating.. sometimes I think that, are these people we call christians are real christians?? huh? We came here, not merely to fight for medals and certificates but one reason we do this is to glorify God.. but have we really glorified God?? Are we that thirsty to have such titles forcefully? not even taking into consideration, others' feelings?, or shall I say : the feelings of our brothers and sisters in the Lord?.. Come on! Let's grow up and I hope next year's fight would be fair!! Beat us! but beat us in a fair manner! and hope to see a christian-like attitude naman, ha?? hehehe

Still.. we are the champions! whether you liked it or not!! ok! so without further ado... here it is..

I would like to share some layouts I made.. this photos are taken last July 29, 2008. we took some pictures with our brand new comforter =) haha.. I love Korean/Taiwan novelas.. the first layout was a taiwan-novela inspired : it started with a kiss.. haha kinda corny??? anyway we enjoyed doing it and posing for the camera!! while the second one was a movie inspired: One more Chance by John Lloyd and Bea (hahaha) I think we're frustrated artists.. lol!!! enjoy viewing!

I just received a phone call from our attorney sending us the good news that my petition was granted!! I have to asked her several times just to confirm that I did'nt heared it wrong!! haha.. I can't believe that it was really approved.. if I would look back on the last 2 years accomplishing my documents and gathering proofs, I really can't believe my hardships was not put to waste! (not to mention the financial expenses!!! haha) and the first thing that I thought about was! Whew! God is really faithful!! He really is! thinking about this "petition thing" was very tiring, and I can say that my faith was also tested during the process, I even doubted God would grant my prayers, so everytime there was a court hearing for the presentation of proofs and testimonies, I would call or text my close friends and church mates to pray for it. They would comfort me and tell me, "God has answered your prayer! so don't worry.." It's very difficult to trust like a child! I would say to myself, yes God will answer my prayers but most of the time I can't stop thinking what if it turned out to be the other way.. but I think that is what God is teaching me, to just trust in Him!! I would like to share this illustration I read from my favorite christian book:

The Cliff
A man named jack was walking along a steef cliff one day when he accidentally got too close to the edge and fell. On the way down he grabbed a branch which temporarily stopped his fall. He looked down and to his horror saw that the canyon fell straight down for more than a thousand feet. He couldn't hang onto the branch forever, and there was no way for him to climb up the steep wall of the cliff.
So Jack began yelling for help, hoping that someone passing by would hear him and lower a rope or something. "HELP! HELP!" Is anyone up there? HELP!" He yelled for hours, but no one heard him. He was about to give up when he heard a voice.
"Jack. Jack . Can you hear me?"
Yes, yes! I can hear you. I'm down here!"
"I can see you, Jack. Are you all right?"
"Yes, but... who are you, and where are you?"
"I am the Lord, Jack. I'm everywhere."
"The Lord? You mean, GOD?"
"That's me."
"God, please help me! I promise - if You'll get me down from here, I'll stop sinning. I'll be a really good person. I'll serve you for the rest of my life."
"Easy on the promises, Jack. Let's just get you down from there; then we can talk. Now, here's what I want you to do. Listen carefully."
'I'll do anything Lord. Just tell me what to do."
"Okay. Let go of the branch."
"What?" "I said, let go of the branch. Just trust me. Let go."
There was a long silence. Finally Jack yelled, "HELP, HELP! IS ANYONE ELSE UP THERE????"

Yes, sometimes my faith is shaken because of what is happening around me, but God remains faithful all the time. Sometimes when we face trials that we know are beyond our capabilities, that is the only time we start to trust in the Lord, I may be guilty on this but God didn't failed me, He still answered my prayers, great is His Faithfulness!! I bring back all the glory to Him!

Wedding Layout for my Bestfriend

hi! I'm here to share with you some layouts I made for my friend for her wedding album.. I am a part-time layout artist on a photography shop, and this is what I really do before I got hooked up with digital scrapbooking and now.. on designing.. hehehe.. so addicted that I forgot to face all my layout works this past months.. (oh.. well, not to mention our (me and my hubby's) honeymoon layouts at Baguio City, Philippines -- which supposedly should be printed on an album by now! haha).
I'm just taking my time on organizing my files this past weeks, and finishing my layout jobs!! haha.. if my bestfriend didn't gave me a deadline on this, I think I won't do this until next month! lol!! and I'm really glad that she did liked it!!

I am back after a week!! .. and with my second kit.. we'll just like what kim B of DSO had warned me about.. designing is addicting!! hahaha.. but since I am a newbie at designing scrapbook stuffs.. you will be hearing a lot from me! I usually make my layouts on an 8x10 paper or 5x7 (landscape) instead of 12x12 so I included papers sized 8x10 on the kit for landscape scrappers =) enjoy!!
