Moving on to a small scene change again.

Good lord, Adobe Flash is a cruel and horribly slow program. It also hates my wacom tablet and decides to crash when I dare use it – preferably when I haven’t remembered to save. I have to get a minute’s worth of animated film done by Wedensday and it is killing me, augh :X

It appears TWC is having some sort of glitch so I can’t log in and change the vote incentive right now, sorry.

Oh hey guys it’s page 50! Not that big a landmark, but a landmark nonetheless, and 50 is the most pages I’ve ever made for a comic project. Not even the sketch pages I made for this comic I started when I was 13 exceeded 50 I don’t think. Halfway to a hundred is pretty cool too, right?
Anyway, in celebration I finally went and made that wallpaper I said I would make – You can find it over in the gallery in various resolutions :)

Ughh, colouring all the green green grass on these pages reeeally makes me wish that the snow that has been laying around for over two months would just Go The Hell Away! It’s stupid how much winter and snow and cold can get to me, but I’m starting to feel very tired and burnt out over everything.
Can it be spring now? Pretty please?

A thumbs up for Rampage Network today since B.I.B.L.E. is now kindly hosted by them. RN is the home of many a great webcomic like Red Moon Rising, Trying Human and Astray3, just to mention a few I check up on myself. It’s pretty cool to be in such fine company :)

Another random comic plug for Axe Cop because it made me laugh so much I cried. Axe Cop is the genius of a 5 years old boy drawn by his much older cartoonist brother about a.. well.. axe cop. Check it out!

Wow, my mom’s car was just rammed by a tractor :S Why has every car accident I’ve been involved in been caused by someone who was supposed to be holding still? Not that I’m complaining, haha, it’s just weird.

Buh, my schedule of comic stuff to get done in my two weeks off failed horribly. There’s still lots to do. Oho, but I pretty much only have design classes for the next few weeks, so at least there won’t be much homework :}

Oooh, what are these shiny white balloon thingies? Could it be dialogue?

I spent yesterday giving the website a wee facelift (you just can’t see it yet). Mostly fixing some old, half-assed solutions and getting rid of a lot of clutter. I still need to rewrite some text before I publish the changes, so excuse me while a few things around the site look slightly messy.

Yay, I am super exited. Going to see a theatre play/dance show tomorrow, in which goddamn Saul Williams has been involved in the production/music making. I love theatre and I love Saul Williams, that wonderful, wonderful man :D

Also, incentives – I feel like we are once again at a point where I find it very hard to come up with non-spoilerish things to post, so whatever, have one of Opal and her husband.

Whoop, I just nailed my first semester exam with top grades B) I still know how to pull this exam stuff, apparently. Two weeks of real vacation, here I come.
This sounds so strange coming from me, but I fucking love group work! Anyone who say they do not believe in team work for school projects should try being in a class where everyone actually care about what they’re doing.

I haven’t had time to draw anything but a new page this week, so vote for my very (very!) rough sketch of what I plan to make into a wallpaper.

We’re back! How’s 2010 working for you all so far? Hope you had some nice holidays and got well into the new year :)

I don’t believe in New Year resolutions, but that won’t prevent me from uttering a few words about what you can expect from the comic for the next twelve months.

I don’t think I’ll be able to finish volume 1 of Rebound, but according to my very shaky calculations the majority of it should be done before next year. I kind of look forward to getting it over with since I mostly see the first volume as an introduction that establishes what everyone’s deal is, and Then the plot starts picking up.

Oho, but what Can you expect from this here first volume?
- First of all, just one more page and there’ll be actual dialogue! Haha, now there’s something that has been missing from this comic for a while. By the way, thanks for sticking with us for these many pages of fighting. I know it’s a bit tedious to read when it’s dragged out like that.
- Also, most of the remaining important characters will start popping up and they’ll bring nasty stuff and they’ll bring fun stuff, because hey, it’s not all serious business.
- We’ll be stepping up the advertising game (this includes getting some banners done already, jeez).
- Nice extra things like a wallpaper and some website maintenance ought to pop up shortly if the lack of time in the world doesn’t bite me in the behind again.
