If your life has become too big, or too complex, you can scale it down to fit your own needs. When you prove what the will of Almighty God is and follow through to do it, you can make room in your life for everything that matters.

To improve the quality of your life, all you have to do is to commit yourself to living simply and in harmony, internally within yourself, with other people, and with everything in your environment. Identify your purpose, live according to it, and reduce all of the distractions that pull you away from it.

Picture 2015 as the year to simplify so that you can improve the quality of your life.

It was completely unexpected, which made the gift even more special and appreciated. Although I couldn’t thank this individual in person, not knowing who he or she was, I felt extremely grateful and warmed by the wonderful show of thoughtfulness. I experienced a feeling of true gratitude.

For many people, the month of November brings a holiday that commemorates thankfulness for what we have and who or what is important in our lives. But shouldn't we take an opportunity daily to reflect upon all of the many ways—both the grand and small—that so enrich our lives?

Even if you have your share of aches and pains or other conditions, there are still a myriad of functions that go on within our systems starting before birth until the day we die. Many of these are things we may never think about or even know about unless we take the time to study them.

While many scientists whole-heartedly embrace what is commonly known as the “Big Bang” theory, many people in religions believe that the creation of the heavens and the earth happened within one week that consisted of seven 24-hour days. Is it possible that the Holy Bible supports a theory like the Big Bang?

Other than the few minutes it took initially to insert an IV line, take a few of vials of blood, place an automated blood pressure cuff and leads to a heart monitor, not one of the nurses, doctors, or technicians who came in and out had any need to touch this person again for the duration of the next few hours. All of the information they needed about her care was supplied by the devices she was hooked up to, and was logged into a computerized record.

When you arrived to wherever it was you were going, you might find yourself in a stifling, tent city filled with hundreds or thousands of other strangers and the stench of human waste and decay all around you. Maybe --if you are fortunate--you have access to meager supplies of basic food and limited water (possibly not very clean), but no electricity and scant medical care at best. You might find yourself sleeping out in the open air, exposed to the elements, with bugs and other dangers. If you are lucky, you might have a blanket or mat to sleep on.

Renewable Energy

Have you ever seen how silicon ingots are made? These special objects hold a unique property and are used to manufacture solar energy cells. The silicon ingots are sliced into thin wafers, and then exposed to positive and negative gases – forming a Positive-Negative (P-N) junction. The unique thing about silicon is that it acts as a semiconductor. When the silicon wafers are exposed to light, (photons) electrons are excited to bounce from one atom to the next. This forms an electrical circuit. As servants of God, we too are like solar cells. God has selected special people to learn about His kingdom. We have been introduced to the light of God and are excited to share this knowledge with others (John 8:12, 1 Peter 2:9), and we serve as semiconductors of enlightening information. Solar energy is often called renewable energy, because the use of light does not deplete resources on earth, such as coal, oil, and gas. As servants of God, we are renewable; our minds are teachable. We take energy from God and do not rely on our own way of thought, which can be contrary to God’s will (Proverbs 3:5-6). Some of the basic qualities that God teaches us are:
