This is being done to fix a technical issue that has been causing diacritics (accents) to display incorrectly in our notices.</p> <p>The new address will be <a href="mailto:sirsi@biblio.ottawa.on.ca">sirsi@biblio.ottawa.on.ca</a>. While we regret the cancellation of the funding, the OPL remains committed to the provision of public internet services and does not foresee that this loss of funding will result in service reductions. Only Random House and Harper-Collins currently allow public libraries to buy their latest and greatest through Overdrive and make them available for borrowing purposes. While we're hard at work on a wholesale site redesign to improve the efficiency of the underlying code, we're addressing short-term performance issues as well.These efforts include steps to improve the performance of the site's database and a pending move to a cloud-based hosting solution to provide greater server redundancy and uptime.
