AN ELDERLY couple in Singapore who gave up their duplex to their son ended up homeless after he chased them out of the house, Sin Chew Daily reported on Thursday.

The couple now call the staircase of a school their home.

The man, who gave his surname as Lim, was a manager before he retired. He has a son and a daughter who live in Jurong.

Relating his ordeal to a secretary of the school, Mr Lim said he and his wife decided to give their duplex home to their son as a wedding gift about two years ago.

The couple thought that they could live in the house with their son. He, however, decided to sell the property for RM960,000 to buy another condominium. Mr Lim and his wife were then sent off to live with their daughter.

After a year, the daughter decided that they were no longer welcome and banned them from touching her children.

The couple could not enter the house after their daughter changed the locks to the house.

Now i am typing inside the freezing ITMS computer lab.
My tutor is Miss Mona. Actually she is a lecturer too.. She is a very dedicated tutor and lecturer. She just mentioned the Face code that allocated for us in final exam is 5%. She had an allocation of total 20 of marks for total of our final exam total marks.

Do you know that among my friends and me, i have the shortest period to sustain a battery power when using only battery powered notebook. Well, my nottie just lasts about one hour and 15 minutes and i really has no idea how to save and safe my nottie. (crying and drying)

A RANDOM survey by Sin Chew Daily found that most Malaysian women are not keen to have Chinese nationals as domestic helpers.

Some even felt that the proposal “would make men happy but make women sad.”

They conceded that it was normal for them to be intimidated by the fair skin and good looks of Chinese nationals.

Most of the people interviewed by the daily voiced their support for Wanita MCA which had objected to the suggestion to bring in maids from the Middle Kingdom.

According to them, Chinese maids had no language barrier with local employers and thus would not face any culture shock when they work here.

“However, it would also be easier for the men in the families to get close to them,” they said.

“We hope that the Government will reconsider its decision to bring in Chinese maids to prevent unnecessary family conflicts,” they said.

This, they said, was not because they did not trust their husbands but that it was better to be safe than sorry.

A woman, who only wanted to be known as Mrs Cheah, said: “I would rather do all the household chores myself than hire a maid.”

“Chinese maids share many similarities with us; I can’t guarantee that something bad will not happen in my family.”

Recently, the Foreign Workers’ Agency Association made a suggestion of hiring maids from China but the idea received strong objection from women’s groups, including the Wanita MCA.

They feared potential social ills, such as the maids becoming home wreckers.

Well, I've finished my Foundation in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Hooray!
Err...ya, its not yet officially la for sure.

And i need to clean up my room because the semester is already end and i need to move out from my campus apartment as late as this coming sunday and u know...?

I've start packing the day before my final paper, Moral Studies.

For me, Moral Studies is important but people tend to look alight on it. Maybe because of the credit hour is just One (1). So, they maybe just see throught the notes. I bet someone will definitely didnt see any of the notes. Muahaha! (but that's not me!)

Yesterday, i wanna cure my nothingness(lol?) and boring. So, I went out. The actual reason i went out is to help my sister to purchase a 4gb MicroSDHC (It is called Micro Secure Disk High Capacity) Level 6. Well I didnt check her phone requirment and i just realised that do the card support her phone. Thanks that her phone is supported but theoretically only. Because I know that Kingstone's 4 gb microSDHC is not supported in the phone.

Well, back to my journey, The Touch N Go machines is many LRT, KTM Komuter, KL Monorial stations are from bad to worst. The maintenance officer just goyang kaki ape?

I've visited National Museum, Planetarium, and Merdeka Square. And that still did not made me feel hungry or tired. But still had a short lunch at BurgerKing Masjid Jamek.

Then I am headed to Bukit Bintang. To search the Microsd and her battery. Well I managed to get the battery and microsd 4gb at total amount RM 75.

And now i am thinking whether should i go out again....

I already wished my mum as early as 8.00am.. hehe

Yesterday was Wesak Day and actually i want to go back to my hometown but because i had my Calculus Test 2, so i decided to only stay at Selangor and visit one of the Buddhist Temple at Brickfield there.

8.30 from Serdang KTM Komuter Station went to KL Sentral then i just things to get "easy", so i just take taxi for RM 5 to go to the temple. The Maha Vihara Buddhist Temple was the one of the oldest temple in KL area.

I did not take a lot images yesterday.

Around 1pm, i went to KL Sentral, thanks to John and his family brought me to there.
Kartik was in the CIMB Bank settling something and we went to KLCC to watch the lastest movie directed by JJ Abrams. That movie was awesome, fantastic and brilliant! The effects was so realistic and the dinosour from Planet M was so cute. hehehe.. :)

We also walked to Buit Bintang and Kartik managed to buy a pair jersey from Topman Pavillion. Phew!

My pen drive true story

It was a few days ago, when a girl asked me has a pen drive or not.
I answered "yes" and she asked me again whether

she can borrow it or not. I answered "yes" for the second time. Well her face looks cheered. And I replied when to give back to me. She says tonight, that will be 24 April, 8.00pm. But the problem is she is a girl and she can't go in to my apartment freely. So she said I go to there to wait around 8.00pm after she miss call me. So i give her my contact number.

As i saw my phone time: 8.05pm in Gate 2 bus stop, I am wondering if she is waiting me there. That time i am waiting for a bus with my friends. After a moment but not so long, the bus came and i ride to our apartment. 8.10pm i saw only a female there but not she that i want to meet. So, i back to my room first then i need to message her around 8.45pm. She did replied me, "I am now at Midvalley still not yet come back, just return tomorrow". What the heck? She promised me she will return on the same day and now she turned her words. She also mentioned to me to message her after My MUET test. I did replied and again she typed to me that to meet at 0630pm and she asked her friend to return to me. ??!! Shit! What kind of this person? She also asked my room number so i think that her friend will return to me to my door. Waited and waited 630pm passed and her friend did not turn up.

This is a sad story, consider for me. Why? Because of i am stupid? The answer is probably no. It is sad thing she could not complete a simple yet easy task. Why still i can return something to my friend on time as promised and my friend, Hanif also can able to return My MUET book to me to owner in time. Although i no need the book so fast because he wanted to look through notes and do some exercises.

Actually, the person can be considered failed because broke the promises for two times, yet not responsible to promises.

What i am saying now is not to blame on other people. But is to awaken some of the people who are always act like that but they themselves don't know about that.

Wake up early in the morning, and preparation to library. 6.50am, I walked with my friends. We are worried about the MUET test, basically on how to answering them and what question will be going out. About the format, it should not be a problem for us.

We thought there will be no bus because today is Saturday. However, there is a bus and we just wait at the Gate 2 bus stop(one af the new UNITEN bus stop).

First paper was Reading, 45 questions and i managed to done it by time, but correct or wrong is another case. I had extremely shortage of time n paper 4, writing part as i used up nearly 1 hour to complete the first essay. It was my fault too because i did not brought my watch. I asked the invigilators the most for time and 2 additional papers. And i was a shocked when told by she that there are only 30 minutes. I need to rush my second essay and I managed to write 4 points with introduction and conclusion. I think the conclusion was not so well organized.
Well, about paper 2, listening, I think i don't want to comment about it.

Another paper is speaking, my time slot is 7 May 2009 Session 1. Yet i still don't know who is my partner...

Yeah, Im back!
Kelantan is the most nice place for me, food very nice, people also very nice, anythinglah. Just no beer sold in supermarket and cinema.
But thats fine for me.

Im currently in Semester 3 of my foundation and will be continued to first year 3 months later.

I went to my primary school's fun fair this morning and purchased ayam percik for RM14 then went back home. Later for lunch i ate the ayam percik(a type of chicken) and my mum prepared Yong Tauhu Soup for me also. So yummy, thanks mummy. I know mummy always cook nice foods for me. This is more economical if compared go out for a Yong Tauhu Curry Noodles treats.

I am not yet prepare for my Physics Quiz 3. Its about Fluid Mechanics, such as Pascal's Principle, Archimedes Principle, and Buoyant Force. Also i need to complete my English assignment by next week before presentation.

Tomorrow is my busiest day I think because i will go to treat myself a journey to some places. Hehe its secret but i can give a clue: smoke

Avast and Kaspersky only, AVG 7.5 will die soon!

AVG 7.5 is best antivirus from AVG that i've used before. I installed in my laptop with two other friends, that is Avast Antivirus 4.8(Avast) and also Kaspersky Internet Security 8(KIS). So, all of them are 3.

But recently, i received a splash screen to remind me to switch to AVG Antivirus 8.5 (AVG) before 12 April 2009. That is really a bad thing and I feel sad for that because all of the antiviruses(AV) already become one of my best computer in my laptop. I will use them according to suitability and my convinience. When and why?
I purchased my Compaq laptop last year with AVG 7.5 pre-installed. Later, I installed Avast 4.8. Upon restarting computer, my laptop shows a little bit slower than usual, but for me, it is acceptable. From that time, I will use AVG to scan any removable disks. I choose AVG because it has high detection rate of Trojan Horse.
Avast i always used it to scan my system in background, or it is known as Resident Shield in AVG and Standard Shield in Avast.

After came to Universiti Tenaga Nasional to further my study, My pendrive is always infected with viruses whenever i plug them in computers in printing kiosks around my campus. So, I consider to use Kaspersky Internet Security 8. It will scan removable media such as pendrive and external hard disk and etc. This made me very easy. So, I plan again for the usual task of all my antiviruses, as follows;
Kaspersky - scans all removable disks and background scan
Avast- scans removable disks that i feel suspicious after KIS, Background Scan, network scanner(it will scans any websites that i visit before loading to internet browsers)
AVG 8.5 - scans all removable disks after Avast if still i am feel not satisfied with the results of two antivirus above and resident shield.

About updating
Internet connection in my campus is terrible, they use proxy to internet access. So, i must set my LAN Settings in Internet Option to a proxy and a port.

AVG is the fastest download definition antivirus among all. First runner up is Avast and third one is Kaspersky.
I must manually update the Avast but it is automatically for AVG and Kaspersky. Sometimes, kaspersky will shows 99% complete but actually there are still a chunky size of definition files. I dont know why. And don't ask me. :)

Will AVG ACTUALLY DIE?
Well, the answer is probably no. AVG will discontinue the updates to AVG 7.5 users. They force old users to install their All-in-One solution Antivirus which has many functions such as

antispyware
antivirus
link scaner
anti-rootkit
anti-hacker
searchshield
toolbar

for me, a bunch of softwares packed in a(one) rebranded software is quite nice but not so easy. Why? Because if one of the function in the software is spoilt, then the whole thing will become a junk.

To make story shorter, I've tried AVG 8.5. And i've uninstalled that too. I leave my laptop on wile downloading the new AVG while i am sleeping. I installed it immediately after i wake up. The result after installing AVG 8.5 is quite bad. My laptop is terribly slow. It was very slow. I think u scan imagine that u type a word and it need a little time to appear in your screen. So, now my laptop is guarded by only 2 antivirus.

Need a new friend for them?
The answer is maybe, I will try Avira Free as a replacement to AVG 7.5. But not now because my tests will start and i dont want my laptop screwed up.

For me, I always experience that. Actually I cannot sit so far from white board if not i will face difficulties to see what is written on it.

I will feel sleepy also during class hour(worst last semester of mine), this semester seems less. But I will fell sleepy if i am dong my homework. Why??

I try to suck candy but it is impossible to cure my sleepiness. Even during classes, i will tend to close my eyes when biting the soft candy.

Maybe next time i will perhaps bring Nasi Ayam or Mee Goreng into classroom?

My hair thinning solution

As I mentioned in previously, I suffered hair thinning. So, I've purchased 2 basic items that seems can cure hair thinning problems.

Well,

To treat my hair fall problem, I've bought Schwarzkopf BC Bonacure Hairtherapy. It is used to activate my hair roots. Bought this a week ago, used it a few times, it seems to make my hair drop even more during shampooing. what the heck?! *sigh*

Today, I just bought Neril Hair Tonic by Garnier from Watsons. Price is about MYR27.00. I just used it for the first time after evening bath. Massaging with my hands for 5 minutes.
