It’s not Wednesday, but it seems like the houseguests are already considering changing their minds with this week’s vote. On Monday, the houseguests started to consider taking out Lyric this week. However, now it seems to be more up in the air if Lyric or Melody will be evicted if Drew wins the Big Brother Block Buster. The general consensus for a while was that Drew would leave if he remained on the block.

He would follow in Rome and Jason’s footsteps of being the house target, and going out of the game if he couldn’t pull out a BB Block Buster victory. The day was going as expected. Some houseguests, such as Melody and Mallory, discussed wanting to keep Drew over Lyric, because of their former ally’s recent betrayal. However, Yash and Taylor weren’t on board with this plan.

Dee, Barrett, Angela, and Devens also seemed set on taking Drew out this week. None of them were alerting him to is danger. Yash and Devens talked about keeping Lyric to Dee, but when Yash left, Dee suggested that maybe they keep Drew this week. She initially proposed that the Crossovers tell Drew that he was in danger.

Then they pitched to him that he needs to convince Kamu, Haley, and Chuk to keep him. Then they can think it’s their idea and pitch it to the rest of the Toolshed. Before they could continue, their conversation was interrupted by multiple people entering their discussion area.

Devens thought Angela wouldn’t be on board with keeping Drew. However, later, Dee pitched the idea to Angela of keeping Drew. Angela was receptive to the idea because she said they knew Drew’s game, and he could be someone who goes after Kamu, Haley, and Chuk. Angela also said maybe they should wait to try this flip until Wednesday or Thursday night, since they won’t have enough time to think about it.

Big Brother can be a very slow game. This often leads to boredom and desperate acts to cope with it, like constantly playing Corn Hole. Today was another one of these boring days, but it involved a lot more gaming than previous Tuesdays in the Big Brother 28 house.

Some of the day revolved around Lyric trying to talk her way out of her previous betrayal. Meanwhile, Melody and Drew tried to see if there was a chance they could both stay this week. Hope may not be completely lost for either of them.

Big Brother 28 Live Feed Highlights – Tuesday, August 04, 2026:

8:17 AM BBT- Houseguests wake for the day.

9:05 AM BBT – Mallory and Melody discuss the upcoming vote. Mallory mentions Yash wanting to keep Lyric over Drew. Mallory says she rather keep Drew over Lyric because she trusts him more, and he’s been more straightforward with his nominees.

9:34 AM BBT – Houseguests play Beer Pong but with grapes.

9:46 AM BBT – Mallory and Barrett reassure Melody that she’s fine against Drew. Barrett says that he’s the other side’s priority to get out. Mallory knows she needs Taylor, LaTrice, and Yash’s votes to make sure she survives the week. She tells him that she wants to keep Drew over Lyric but knows it’s hard.

9:55 AM BBT – Melody asks Taylor about her vote if it comes between Lyric and Melody. Taylor tells Melody that she may just vote with the house this week. She thinks her vote with Yash and LaTrice may not matter if the house has already decided.

9:58 AM BBT – Mallory tells Drew that she will vote for him to stay over Lyric.

10:07 AM BBT – Lyric worries that she could be blindsided this week. LaTrice reassures her that she’s fine. She says that someone on her team will be going home instead.

10:20 AM BBT – Dee and Angela discuss getting another person out before going after the Chuk, Haley, and Kamu trio. They discuss potentially going after Yash. Dee thinks he plays up not gaming but he’s playing people. They also say he’s so likable, which could be dangerous. Angela is fine going after the Kamu trio, but thinks that they need to get others out first because they have the numbers right now and they seem solid with them.

10:53 AM BBT – Barrett tells Mallory that Melody is safe if sitting on the block next to Drew, but he’s not sure what happens if she’s next to Lyric.

11:44 AM BBT – Yash tells Lyric that everyone is lying to Drew. They’re telling him that he’s safe when he isn’t. Lyric mentions feeling bad for throwing Mallory under the bus. She wants to win the BB Block Buster, but accepts her fate if she goes home this week.

12:00 PM BBT – Yash and Lyric talk about Haley not being someone to tell anyone anything. He tells her that she needs to not worry about the public perception of her. Yash tells Lyric that Melody and Drew are weak competitors.

12:32 PM BBT – Drew jokes about forming an alliance called F*ck Ass People (FAP). He pumps Barrett, Mallory, and Melody up about starting a revolution.

1:12 PM BBT – Yash, Dee, and Devens discuss the upcoming vote. They agree that Drew needs to go. It’s more unclear between Melody and Lyric. Yash pitches why it’s better to keep Lyric over Melody. Devens backs up his arguments by saying Melody leaving at least hurts Drew’s game a bit.

122 PM BBT – Dee proposes to Devens that they keep Drew this week. Barrett, Angela, and them tell Drew that he doesn’t have the votes, and then get him to win Kamu, Chuk, and Haley over so they pitch the idea to the rest of the Toolshed and they save him.

1:46 PM BBT – Barrett lets Mallory know that she was one of the initial targets last week. She would have been voted out if Jason won the BB Block Buster.

2:21 PM BBT – Lyric mentions to Mallory thinking she could trust Chuk and Kamu, but now they’re not fighting for her to stay. Lyric tells Mallory she feels bad for throwing her under the bus.

2:35 PM BBT – Mallory and Lyric say in front of Yash that they will pretend to be enemies. Mallory wants to gain Chuk, Kamu, and Haley’s trust to use against them. Yash says he won’t tell anyone what they’re doing.

We may have an early change in direction this week as Dee’s suggestion could spice up the week. Her conversation with Angela is something to look out for, and whether they actually tell Drew and plan for this vote flip.

We know the Toolshed is crumbling in the Big Brother 28 house, while the Red Corner alliance continues to grow stronger and control nearly every aspect of the game. So let’s take a look at the current house dynamics.

For anyone who might need a reminder, the Toolshed consists of Devens, Dee, Angela, Kamu, Chuk, Haley, Barrett, and Drew. But that alliance has largely fallen apart, especially with Drew sitting on the block during Haley’s HOH reign as the current eviction target. It is safe to say that Red Corner is now the real power in the house, not the Toolshed or the Crossovers. Red Corner includes Kamu, Dee, Devens, Chuk, and Haley. They all still have Angela’s back, but she is not an official member. The Crossovers, meanwhile, are or were made up of Dee, Devens, Angela, Drew, and Barrett.

The Dapper Dans alliance is the only group with any real chance of keeping Drew safe this week. It consists of Devens, Barrett, Drew, and Yash. Devens is the only core Toolshed member who is not completely on board with sending Drew home, but even he seems to be giving up on trying to save him.

Melody, Lyric, and Mallory have officially reunited as a trio. Lyric and Melody initially distanced themselves from Mallory because she was a target. But now that all three are targets for the other side of the house, there is no real reason to keep their distance. Together they call themselves The Littles. Melody and Lyric also have a separate duo called the Sirens. At the same time, Mallory and Lyric have agreed they trust each other the most. So it is still unclear where Lyric’s true loyalties lie.

There is another alliance in the house, although it is an unusual one. Devens, Kamu, and Taylor have some sort of deal together. It is still not entirely clear what that partnership is based on.

As for duos, Devens and Dee remain rock solid. Barrett and Drew are also close and call themselves The Jugglers. Drew and Kamu have a partnership called the Handymen, although Kamu is fully on board with letting Drew go this week. Drew also has a solid relationship with Melody. Then there is Taylor and LaLa, but Taylor is becoming increasingly frustrated with LaLa’s gameplay. Angela and Dee have a final two deal, but Dee is still more loyal to Devens, even though she kept her power from him this week. Chuk and Haley also have a final two agreement.

There are a few other deals floating around the house, but most of them are either weak or not especially meaningful. We will keep you updated as more alliances form or existing ones begin to shift.

Well I didn’t have this move on my bingo card for Big Brother 28 Week 4 but here we go with the Houseguests in control now considering whether or not to shift the target and go with evicting the renom this week just like the HGs have ended up doing every single week so far!

Haley had set her plans for evicting Drew after Taylor secured her own safety with the Veto, but then last night Kamu brought a new idea to Haley: what about if we evicted Lyric instead? Now hang on. Kamu has spent the past two weeks since Rome’s eviction trying to get closer to Lyric and it seems like she knows how to use that to her advantage. Kamu was going so far as to campaign for her safety from renom over the weekend and that really upset Haley. Then we saw Lyric campaigning to Chuk to to do the same ahead of the Monday Veto Meeting, but that didn’t work at all.

So what has lead Kamu to make an about-turn and now suggest they send Lyric out the door? I’m really not sure, but it’s worth noting here that the priority Kamu presented last night was still with Drew going if he didn’t win the Block Buster. This discussion Kamu brought to Haley was about if Drew won and who to keep or vote out between Melody and Lyric. Haley said she was open to it the idea and soon they had brought up more members of their alliance.

Talking to the Vets, Devens said he really didn’t care between keeping Lyric or Melody. But Dee cared. Dee highlighted that if the issue with Drew was that he was straying to the other side(s) then Melody would continue to be a connection for him outside of their core while Lyric would not. Dee wasn’t having this substitution plan from Kamu.

Which side will win? I’d say it’s still early and there are two more days to go before a decision will be set. But for now, if Drew loses the Block Buster he’s still on the way out, but if he wins? We could see a surprise reunion for Rome and Lyric in the near term.

Here are your latest results from our weekly Popularity Poll for the Big Brother 28 season and it’ll be no surprise to see some of the Vets at the top but not all of them have been able to hang on to the top five spots.

Once again keeping his crown at the top is Devens, the Survivor Castaway turned Houseguest has a strong following from before the season and despite staying below the radar in the House since his Week 2 HOH we’re continuing to see him in the fans’ favor. But watch out Rick because here came Jason in the third week rising six spots to second place before his eviction this past round.

Meanwhile the other Castaway, Dee, slid one spot down to third just as did Drew when both made way for Jason’s rise. Mallory rounds things out at the fifth spot for a steady climb from sixth the week before.

But they can’t all be top ranked Houseguests! So who is hanging out at the bottom? It’s the usual suspects again this week with Haley rising two spots from the very bottom to be at 13th out of 15 HGs followed by LaTrice at #14 and Chuk taking the cake at the bottom spot of 15th. I’m not surprised by Chuk as this season’s resident furniture HG, but LaLa dropping to low when she’s relatively neutral and pleasant enough is surprising. Haley is gonna Haley, so it seems likely she’ll stay circling the bowl for now unless she has a major game shift.

With the Veto Meeting wrapped up on Monday afternoon the HGs and Noms were left with the reality of just a few days to sort out their next eviction and prepare for the possibilities with the Block Buster. Few of them are having trouble with the whole “reality” of it though, especially with close allies lying to one another.

Drew has been the target now for a bit, but even when he directly asks Barrett and Devens the two deny the danger he’s in. Then you’ve got Mallory and Melody dealing with Lyric and whether or not they try to keep a number for their dwindling side or cut the line and try to regroup. Knowing that Lyric rolled on them to Haley and company isn’t helping the decision.

Big Brother 28 Live Feed Highlights – Monday, August 3, 2026:

3:15 PM BBT – Drew is telling Haley and Angela that Mallory told him that he was the target this week and it upset him. Says he really needs every Toolshed vote to stay this week.

3:25 PM BBT – Lyric is crying to Taylor, Mallory and Melody about being on the block. Says it sucks being BD’d. She tells them that if she leaves this week just to know that they can’t trust people in the house and they have to stick together.

3:35 PM BBT – Lyric gets called to the DR and Mallory tells Melody and Taylor that the other side is trying to turn her and Lyric against each other.

3:40 PM BBT – Mallory tells Melody that she doesn’t think Lyric meant anything malicious when she threw her under the bus to Chuk Sunday night. Melody doesn’t agree with her.

3:45 PM BBT – Mallory tells Melody and Taylor she told Drew she didn’t think he had the votes this week. Melody says she doesn’t want Drew to go this week because he would put Haley, Kamu, and Chuk on the block if he won HOH. Taylor tries to tell Mallory that what Lyric was malicious, but Mallory still doesn’t believe it.

3:50 PM BBT – Mallory tells Taylor she doesn’t want to have to choose between Melody and Lyric. Taylor tells her she should just pray that Drew doesn’t win the Blockbuster.

4:05 PM BBT – Chuk tells Haley that he isn’t a fan of working with super fans. He adds that having a big alliance winning all the HOH comps is TV gold for the producers (no…it’s not).

4:15 PM BBT – Melody tells Drew that she would vote to keep Drew over Lyric if she wins the Blockbuster on Thursday.

4:50 PM BBT – Devens tells Drew that Haley went hard on Lyric during the Veto Ceremony. Adds that they are not blowing up the Toolshed this week. Drew says he wants to next week, but Devens is against that saying they win a lot and are still valuable to them.

5:25 PM BBT – Kamu asks Devens how they are going to let people know what the plan is this week without it getting back to Drew (that Drew is the target). Devens doesn’t think there is a way to do that.

6:10 PM BBT – Kamu is giving Lyric a peptalk about this week.

6:15 PM BBT – Kamu tells Lyric that she is the favorite to win the Blockbuster. She asks what if she doesn’t? He tells her that she can’t think that way.

6:20 PM BBT – Kamu tells Mallory he would like to talk to her one-on-one within the next couple of days. He tells her he wants to clear some things up from his HOH.

6:30 PM BBT – LaTrice tells Lyric that she is in a good place and that when people are telling her she is good this week, they aren’t lying to her. Lyric thanks he and tells her it’s hard to tell when people are lying.

6:55 PM BBT – Chuk and Drew are chatting in the HN room about the vote. Chuk tells Drew that a friendship he has outside of their alliance (Lyric) doesn’t come over his alliance (Drew). Drew says that’s how it is for him too and that he is rocking with the Toolshed.

7:00 PM BBT – Drew tells Chuk that he is going to need his help getting LaTrice’s vote this week. He adds that he feels like Chuk has good relationships with her and Taylor. Chuk says he does have great relationships with both.

7:15 PM BBT – Kamu and Haley are comparing notes on things they have been told and heard from the other side of the house.

7:30 PM BBT – Kamu asks Haley who the target is if Drew pulls himself off the block. Haley says Melody because none of the girls like her. Kamu suggests that they send Lyric home because she is a bigger threat, the fact that the girls don’t like Melody is a reason to keep her, and Lyric has already proven herself untrustworthy and willing to jump from alliance to alliance.

7:50 PM BBT – Kamu tells Haley that he wants to tell Mallory that Drew was the one who told him Mallory was throwing his name out.

7:55 PM BBT – Yash tells Taylor that if Drew is up there on Thursday, he is going but he did it to himself. Taylor agrees.

8:05 PM BBT – Devens walks into the HOH room and Haley and Kamu pitch the idea of sending Lyric home if Drew wins the Blockbuster. Devens says that makes sense to him.

8:10 PM BBT – Dee has been filled in on the plan and she tells them that she likes the idea, but she is worried that Melody and Drew will be a duo where if they keep Lyric, she is just one person. Devens also points out that if Drew and Melody stay together that they will have Mallory and could possibly pull in Taylor and LaTrice into something.

8:20 PM BBT – Haley comes back into the HOH and Devens, Dee, and Kamu fill her in on what they were talking about with the vote. She tells them that she is still down for either of them going this week.

8:25 PM BBT – Lyric wonders to Mallory and Melody why they didn’t just put up a pawn this week. Melody tells her she is a pawn. Lyric says she is not a pawn, she has won competitions and if Haley’s plan is for her to go this week, then she will be gone.

8:30 PM BBT – Drew tells Barrett that he feels like Cedric right now. Says this is now what they thought would happen when Haley won. Barrett says they should have known better than to be excited when one of them (Haley/Chuk/Kamu) won another HOH.

8:40 PM BBT – Kamu wonders if Drew is going to confess his love for Melody on his way out of the house. Devens says he would prefer that over him blowing up the Toolshed on his way out.

8:50 PM BBT – Lyric tells Mallory that they (Chuk and Kamu) made her throw Mallory under the bus to them about Mallory wanting to nominate them if she wins HOH. Lyric asks her if she still trusts her and Mallory tells her she does.

9:30 PM BBT – Barrett reassures Lyric she should be okay. He tells her the HGs upstairs are deciding and it’s in their hands.

10:00 PM BBT – Mallory and Barrett discuss the upcoming HOH comp. Barrett says the season is boring and that side can’t keep getting their way. Mallory is worried Lyric would stay over Melody if Drew gets the Block Buster. Barrett thinks that’s correct with Melody going over Lyric.

10:00 PM BBT – Devens talks with Drew about keeping Melody over Lyric, but he worries Melody could beat him in The Wall. Drew notes that Chuk and Kamu have promised him their votes to stay, but he isn’t confident that they aren’t just lying to him.

10:15 PM BBT – Barrett warns Melody directly that she’s in danger if Drew wins the Block Buster. He tells her she’ll likely be voted out over Lyric. Mallory is frustrated that she’s being label as the top target of the house and hearing that she’s going after everyone. Barrett says he even heard she was coming for him.

11:35 PM BBT – Melody wishes Drew could stay, but says she wants to stay more than she wants Drew to get to stay.

12:00 AM BBT – Mallory and Barrett trying to decide if it could be The Wall coming up this week (quite possibly) and whether or not that’s strictly a Jury phase competition.

12:20 AM BBT – Lyric comes to Mallory and apologizes for jeopardizing her game. She is aware that Haley was lying to her about the renom situation. Mallory encourages Lyric saying she’ll likely be okay this week.

1:25 AM BBT – Lyric continues to stress her possible eviction. Drew and Melody are encouraging her. Talks shift to life back home and whether or not they miss having a phone and social media.

1:50 AM BBT – Chatter continues for Drew, Lyric, and Melody. They talk about fears in life and being forgotten. Melody misses Jason for his willingness to be weird like her.

2:30 AM BBT – Melody and Lyric wonder if they will become the villains of the season for trying to go against the majority and save their own games.

The contemplation to keep Melody over Lyric seems reasonable, but Dee is going to push against this with the group because if their concern before was Drew straying then keeping Melody is only going to increase the chances of that. But it’s still surprising to see Kamu pitching the idea of voting out Lyric when he’s been working to keep her and build that relationship.
