What do we need to save/be saved from? Frugality is an art especially in these challenging economic times. The warming earth behooves us to save on using materials creating greenhouse gases. The Bible says God wants to save us. Many people are concerned that they don’t have enough in savings. Can this building be saved?

Here in Asia we rely pretty heavily on rice. Each country’s variety is different in size and shape and texture. Just like westerners are about different kinds of bread or potatos and are very picky, so too are Asians over their respective variety of rice. Like the wheat fields there is a real peace and serenity and minimalist beauty about being in the fields. Central and northern Taiwan get 2 rice harvests a year, while southern Taiwan gets 3.
