Yamaha Maxam 3000 is a concept that makes Yamaha motor. This motor design is unique, luxurious and elegant. The MAXAM 3000 is Yamaha’s scooter concept, and it’s big, the 3000 is 3000mm in length, that’s 118 inches, almost 10 feet long! Building on the MAXAM’s low & long body design, this model boasts a completely new pick-up styling that includes focus on important things like storage space in its under-seat compartment. It looks like it’s designed to be a 2 wheeled pickup truck!

Modern Design Peugeot 515 by Madella Simone 1

The latest from motorbike enthusiast Madella Simone is this design inspired by the iconic and record breaking 1934 Peugeot 515. Unlike the original 4-stroke, this modern 515 powers its rear in-wheel engine with a rechargeable lithium battery. Another unusual feature, it’s also missing the usual hub that linked fork and body; instead, it features a sphere that permits the changing of the wheelbase.

It’s always a difficult task pulling out historic or vintage bikes as design inspiration precisely because there’s so much inspiration to be had. In this motorcycle design study, we can see attractive 1934 Peugeot 515 get a modern interpretation from industrial design student Simone Madella.

Honda Stateline Slammer Bagger Conceptual Motorbike

Three young designers from Honda Reseach & Development Americas located in Southern California were given the task to build custom bikes based on the Fury, Stateline & Sabre.

The last of the three custom factory creations from Honda to be presented, after the Switchblade and the Furious, is Stateline “Slammer” bagger concept. Just like the other two projects, this one is based on a model from the VT1300 range, namely the Stateline, as its name suggests.

The bike is based on the 2010 Stateline and was designed by Honda Americas’ Erik Dunshee. The bike is fueled by elegance and power with a fully-adjustable air-ride suspension and a stealthy design that carries an aura of invincibility.
In terms of design, the concept comes with a two-tone satin metallic black and pearl black paint with a fully custom bodywork, including a leather drop seat. There’s also a NAV/Multimedia with a GPS speed display, a 10″ subwoofer, and 500 watts of power. The Bagger Concept also comes with a full front end conversion, including a lean 23″ custom front wheel, without the designer making any changes to the frame or engine.

The Kawasaki ZX-14R has been one of the most anticipated motorcycles of the new model year. The company has stated quite clearly that the newly designated ZX-14R will be the fastest accelerating motorcycle in production and it uses the most powerful production motorcycle engine ever built.

With the arrival of the 2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R indicates the start of a new era in stock motorcycle performance. Kawasaki ZX-14R has got the ability to produce a record 9.47-second (tested) sprint through the quarter-mile at 152.83 mph, but also hit 60 mph in just 2.6 sec. The Kawasaki engineers made a host of upgrades to the ZX’s powerplant, especially by adding 4mm to the engine’s stroke that ups displacement to 1441cc from 1352cc.
