Emma Watson gave an accidental panty flash to fans and paparazzi at the rainy London premiere for the new Harry Potter film.  The 19 year old actress who plays "Hermione Granger" is definitely all grown up now.  Watson models for the Burberry fashion line and is the newest member of the Ivy League scheduled to attend college at Columbia University in the fall.  Wonder if Emma can keep her knickers covered at the New York Premiere for Half-Blood Prince.

Harry Potter actress Emma Watson may be getting into high fashion with a new Burberry campaign, but last night she made an unintentional style statement.

Battling the elements at the London premiere of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," the 19-year-old's dress flew up to expose her nude-colored underwear beneath her designer gown. But little Hermione Granger seemed unphased by the wardrobe malfunction. Good thing she was wearing a pair of granny panties, rather than going commando like many of her colleagues in Hollywood have been caught doing in the past.

Watson's male co-stars didn't have the same problem with the windy weather, but a heavy downpour soaked actors Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint, who play Harry Potter and Ron Weasley, respectively, in the film, despite having umbrella holders accompany them down the red carpet. [source]

Republican Congressman Peter King is being criticized for stepping out of line for comments he made about Michael Jackson on youtube. The politician is furious that the King of Pop is getting media attention.

King recorded a youtube video rant accusing the singer of being a "pervert and a pedophile" despite the fact that the singer was cleared of all charges during a criminal trial.

Talk show host Bill O'Reilly decided to drink some of the Peter King haterade and get in on the anti-Michael Jackson rants to complain about how the media is remembering the pop star. O'Reilly even goes on to say that he doesn't know why African-Americans are relating to Michael because he wasn't Black anymore because of his rumored extensive plastic surgery.

Last night Bill O'Reilly voiced astonishment at a Pew study showing black Americans to be much more engaged in the coverage of Michael Jackson's death "even though Michael Jackson has white children -- and he chose to have white children -- and the face deal, don't even want to get into."

O'Reilly returned to the issue of Jackson and race tonight during a vigorous debate with Columbia University professor Dr. Marc Lamont Hill. O'Reilly criticized Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson Jr. and others for turning this into a "racial deal," saying there is no racial component and that it's foolish for black Americans to exult Jackson as a black icon when he "bleached his face" and had white children: "You don't become an African-American icon when you do something like that." Look just because Michael Jackson had his own issues with loving the image he saw in the mirror doesn't mean that the world didn't love him. The talented little Black boy who danced and sang his way into everyone's hearts at the Apollo was the same man-child who died.  The world saw the purity of Michael Jackson's heart.  We will all remember Michael Jackson at his most beautiful.  No one can dictate to the African-American community who can be deemed a pop icon, child prodigy or a political leader. The King of Pop Michael Jackson was all of these things and more.  Rest in Peace Michael.

Congressman Peter King is at again, this time defaming the late Michael Jackson, calling MJ a "pervert', 'low-life", and a "pedophile". As Rick Sanchez noted on CNN, Michael Jackson was acquitted of the charges against him. Peter King ought to let Jackson rest in peace, and focus on the needs of his constituents. As we mourn the loss of an American legend, political grandstanding is not what we need right now!

Congressman Pete King called Michael Jackson a "low life" He also said "I think we're too politically correct and no one wants to stand up and say we don't need Michael Jackson". And to be giving this much coverage to him, day in and day out, what does it say about us as a country?"

King also asks a question to the public in the video, "The bottom line is, would you let your child or grandchild be alone in a room with Michael Jackson?"

Rep. King also said  "there was nothing good about this guy" even though Jackson "may have been a good singer" and "did some dancing."

Obama visits Russia to improve historic relations.

Soul mates? No. But President Obama and Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin could be called frenemies after their first high-stakes meeting outside Moscow Tuesday. The two leaders shared breakfast at Putin's dacha, where they praised each other - but also acknowledged deep divisions.

A key flash point is their differing view of neighboring Georgia. The Kremlin backs separatists there and crushed the country's tiny army during battles a year ago, while the U.S. supports its admission to the NATO alliance.

"I don't anticipate a meeting of the minds anytime soon" on Georgia, Obama told Fox News.

Putin noted the two nations have been at loggerheads over "events of different, shall we say, color" - a reference many experts saw aimed at the U.S.-backed pro-democracy "color revolutions" in the former Soviet states of Georgia and Ukraine.

Putin, extremely popular and widely regarded as the true ruler of Russia, consolidated his power dramatically while opposing those revolutions, branding them Western power grabs and attempts at regime change.

Obama still delivered a pro-democracy message after his meeting, though, leveling careful criticism at Russia's autocratic tendencies and widespread corruption.

"The arc of history shows us that governments which serve their own people survive and thrive," Obama told the progressive New Economic School. "Governments which serve only their own power do not." [SOURCE]

Celebrity blogger, Perez Hilton, eventually apologized to Black Eyed Peas singer Will.I.AM for slinging anti-gay slurs at the singer  in Canada. The blogger was caught on tape after his rant video went viral.  Perez Hilton is suing the Black Eyed Peas' manager for the alleged assault.

Perez  published a statement on his blog but Hilton is still suffering from "foot in mouth disease". Hilton confessed to the gay magazine "The Advocate" that he regretted calling Will.I.Am a gay slur because he really wanted to use racist language and call Will a ni@@er aka "the n word."  This is really classy Perez way to go.  Can you believe this ish? Sorry to break it to you Mario aka Perez but although you say that "violence is never the answer" you can't expect not to get your but kicked if you step to someone and call them a "n@gga" to their face.  Perez Hilton was lucky that he was able to walk away from the incident for just thinking he was going to say these vicious words.

Hilton, apparently not content to be the world's leading purveyor of dirty celebrity doodles, is quixotically positioning himself as some sort of gay rights leader. Though, he's going about it all the wrong ways.

In the new profile by Boston-based gaypert Benoit Denizet-Lewis, the vicious and rotund self-ascribed Queen of All Media practically pleads with his interviewer to please accept him as a Righteous Gay. The Advocate story was written and filed before The Incident, but Denizet-Lewis has spoken to Hilton since and added his quotes to the online version of the article. Hilton, never the intellectual high jumper, buried himself even deeper:

But Perez tells me that, in the heat of the moment that night, he almost chose to use a different word. "I thought about calling him the n word," he says over the phone a week after the incident, "but I thought the f word was even worse. I was so filled with hate at that moment because I was hated on so much, and I reacted in the worst way possible. Then I went on to make a bunch of other mistakes. I shouldn't have made the video. I shouldn't have released so many statements. But what's come out of all of this is that I've learned so much about myself, and I'm in a much better place. I'm actually thankful that it happened. As cheesy as it may sound, I had almost a spiritual moment when I just let all of the anger and worry go and am now filled with peace, happiness, and wisdom.

Aw. Isn't that... vaguely horrifying. In seeking the forgiveness of the gay community (or not forgiveness, I don't think Hilton is concerned with forgiveness, but some weird meta thing somewhere between forgiveness and fear), Hilton decides to have us congratulate him for not saying the racist thing he was thinking. ABC has Nightline correspondent Martin Bashir as a commentator during the memorial service. It seems inappropriate since the reporter was involved in the documentary that caused Michael Jackson's grief and a legal trial. The King of Pop was eventually exonerated but his reputation and career were never able to fully recover.

Some Michael Jackson fans believe Martin Bashir was partly responsible for Michael Jackson's death and should have been barred from any memorials dedicated to the superstar.

1:54 :Motown founder Berry Gordy says Michael was like a son to him and sends his condolences to family members."Michael Jackson raised the bar and then broke the bar."   Berry Gordy says that Michael was not just the King of Pop but "the greatest entertainer that ever lived." It is so true. That was a beautiful speech.

2:04: A video montage plays with Michael Jackson clips. It's too bad that no one said all these nice things about Michael Jackson while he was alive. It makes the sadness even deeper and the tears flow even more.  We can't believe that Michael Jackson is gone.

2:06: Stevie Wonder is led to the stage. Stevie sings "I Never Dreamed  You'd Leave in Summer. "We can't help but love you forever Michael."   We cry even more. This is so sad because Michael Jackson was struck down too soon.

2:14: Kobe Bryant and Magic Johnson on stage. Kobe talks about Michael Jackson as a humanitarian. Kobe  and Magic are fighting back the tears.  Magic recalls how Michael asked him to be in the John Singelton directed "Remember the Time" music video.  Magic tells us all "This is a celebration of his life of his legacy and opening up doors for African-Americans."

2:21 :  Jennifer Hudson is very pregnant.  Her non-existent baby looks like it is about to come any minute.  Jennifer is accompanied on stage by the back up dancers who were scheduled to join Michael Jackson during his O2 Arena concert dates in July.

2:25 : Rev. Al Sharpton preaches about the Jackson family dream from humble beginnings in Gary Indiana.   "It was Michael Jackson's dream that changed culture all over the world. Michael Jackson put on one glove and broke down the color curtain." Michael Jackson was the great uniter who brought the world together.
"Millions around the world are going to uphold his message. Focus on the journey and out sang his critics. Everytime you counted him out he came back in Michael never stopped."  Al Sharpton thanks the family for sharing the dream and giving us Michael Jackson because nothing will fill their loss. Sharpton tells Michael's children "there wasn't nothing strange about your Daddy. It was strange what he had to deal with."  Michael's children are sitting with the family Paris, Prince Michael and Blanket do not have their faces covered.  Paris  understands and rises to her feet to applaud Al Sharpton's eulogy. Paris seems strong for little girl who just lost her father. We hope that all of the children are okay.

2:34: John Mayer performs "Human Nature" on his guitar. The crowd screams and claps. The applause is moving.  Will John sing?  His voice will be recorded in history forever in front of a global audience in the millions.  John chooses to strum the guitar. Good choice.  The song sounds pretty. Wonder why they didn't have the legendary BB King perform this song instead of John if he wasn't going to contribute vocals.  John greets the family hugs Jermaine, Jackie and Randy.

2:37: Brooke Shields fights back the tears.  Brooke admits she dated Michael and breaks down like she is still in love with him.  "Michael loved to laugh. MJ's laugh was the sweetest and purest of everyone I've ever known."  Brooke says she told Michael "what is up with the glove?"   He was caring loving,pure,non jaded and a lover of life."  Brooke reads a passage from the Little Prince.  Brooke Shields tells us that Michael's favorite song is smile and that what everyone should do. Our tears flow even harder.

2:43 : Jermaine Jackson sings  Michael Jackson's favorite song "Smile" .  Jermaine sounds good.  MJ's sequined glove is helping Jermaine hit the high notes.  Jermaine tries to sing while fighting back the tears. Jermaine gets a standing ovation.

2:59 : Representative Lee speaks on behalf of everyman and woman.  She hints at the criminal allegations against Michael explaining that we are "innocent until proven guilty."  She quotes Psalm 23 , " The Lord is my sheperd I shall not want." 3:30: The Jackson family says their final goodbyes. Michael's daughter Paris is pretty. She stands next to her aunt Janet who hugs her tenderly. Maybe Janet will get custody of the kids. Diana Ross has released a statement that she will raise his kids.

Jennifer Hudson is officially pregnant for her boyfriend David Otunga.   The Oscar winning actress showed off a huge baby bump at the Michael Jackson memorial service.  Why did Jennifer pretend she was a baby mama and when she lied about being preggers.  Usher's got his hand on her belly to tell the world he is saying hello to JHud's little one.

Jennifer Hudson has never confirmed her pregnancy, but her baby bump was quite clear in photos taken before the Michael Jackson memorial at the Staples Center today (either that, or Usher is getting a little handsy).

A friend did confirm that the singer is expecting a baby with boyfriend David Otunga after the Chicago papers reported the baby shower last month. She's believed to be about eight months pregnant now.

Hudson, who broke up with her pre-fame boyfriend in 2007, has been dating Otunga, a lawyer-turned-WWE wrestler (and former reality show contestant) since last year. [source]

The whole world is tuning in to watch the Michael Jackson memorial service. You can watch a live stream of the star studded funeral  online. Michael Jackson's friends Elizabeth Taylor and Quincy Jones will not attend the funeral because they chose to mourn the pop legend in private.

Dame Elizabeth Taylor has dismissed Michael Jackson's memorial service as "public whoopla" on Twitter, saying she would not be attending because "I love him too much". The Oscar-winning actress, a long-term friend of Jackson's, wrote: "I said I wouldn't go to the Staples Centre and I certainly don't want to become a part of it. I love him too much.

"I just don't believe that Michael would want me to share my grief with millions of others. How I feel is between us. Not a public event. And I cannot guarantee that I would be coherent to say a word.

Revealing how she had been asked to speak at the service, she added: "I cannot be part of the public whoopla."

Speaking of her sadness, she sent her love to Jackson's family, saying: "My love goes out to Katherine and Michael's beloved children."[source]

Michael Jackson's memorial service in Los Angeles at the Staples Centre will provide a public farewell for the King of Pop, with performances from Stevie Wonder and Mariah Carey and appearances by Martin Luther King, Jr's children and Brooke Shields. The service follows a private funeral to be held for friends and family at the Forest Lawn cemetery.

The thousands of lucky Michael Jackson fans on the planet who won a lottery ticket to the King of Pop's funeral were notified via email.

It seems only too fitting for tickets for Michael Jackson's memorial to be handed out in a Willa Wonka-like fasion.

More than 1.6 million MJ fans registered for free tickets to the King of Pop's Tuesday memorial service, and the winners began finding out Sunday afternoon.

"I'm in shock that it has happened," Deka Motanya, 27, of San Francisco told The Associated Press. "It's surreal."

She received an email Sunday afternoon simply saying, "Congratulations, your application was successful."

She responded instantly on Twitter: "OMG OMG OMG OMG i got tickets to the michael jackson memorial service!!!"

Fans had from 10 a.m. Friday to 6 p.m. Saturday to register for a pair of tickets to the service, which will take place at the Staples Center, a sports complex in downtown Los Angeles.

A random draw selected 8,750 names and each person selected will receive two tickets.

Winners will be assigned a unique barcode and instructions for picking up their tickets on Monday. They will receive both a ticket and a wristband, both of which must be displayed to gain entry to the service.

According to Jackson family spokesperson Ken Sunshine, AEG, the company that owns and operates the Staples Center, will "scrub" the entries to remove duplicates and ensure none have been generated by automated systems. This will ensure scalpers don't get their hands on tickets, he said.

Fans not selected in the draw have one other opportunity to attend the memorial. About 6,500 tickets will be given away for the overflow section at the Nokia Theater, which is next door. [SOURCE]

After an overwhelming amount of Michael Jackson fans registered over the weekend for free tickets to the King of Pop's memorial the tickets have been released, and the winning registrants have been notified.

"The Insider" confirms that ticket winners received vouchers from Ticketmaster via e-mail, and were instructed to pick up their tickets Monday June 6 at Dodger Stadium.

Winners were determined by a random drawing of 8,750 of the total number of registrants. Those selected will receive two tickets to the memorial service Tuesday June at either the Staples Center, or the live simulcast at the Nokia Theatre.

At 12 days and counting, the length of coverage has already run longer than anyone's idea of a state funeral. Tuesday, the degree of saturation of TV coverage on the death of Michael Jackson reaches the boiling point.

All of the major networks and cable channels will be offering live coverage of the Jackson memorial service starting at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Staples center in Los Angeles.

NBC had looked as if it would skip live coverage and go only with a one-hour prime-time special Tuesday night. But network executives changed their plans Sunday, and announced that NBC will join ABC and CBS in covering the memorial service live.

Meredith Vieira will anchor NBC's coverage of the memorial service, as well as serving as co-host of Tuesday's Today show from the Staples Center. ABC has Charles Gibson penciled in at the anchor desk in New York for its full court press Tuesday afternoon.

CBS didn't announce live coverage of the memorial service until Monday, but it already had Katie Couric in Los Angeles anchoring the CBS Evening News from the Staples Center. She will be out front on its live memorial broadcast starting at 1.

In addition to Couric's newscast, CBS has also been doing its Early Show out of the Staples Center since Monday. And there is a prime-time Jackson hour planned for Tuesday night with Couric as host. Among the networks, none gets the importance of this story more clearly than CBS.

Expect nonstop coverage on MSNBC, Fox and CNN throughout the day -- unless there is a huge breaking story elsewhere. The 24/7 cable channels were among the first to announce plans to cover the memorial service live.

CNN, which has enjoyed a strong ratings surge for its Jackson programming, lists its coverage as starting at 6 a.m. with Kiran Chetry anchoring American Morning from Los Angeles. The memorial itself will become the focus at noon with Don Lemon continuing to anchor CNN's coverage from Los Angeles. He will be joined there by Soledad O'Brien, Anderson Cooper and Larry King.

Several of CNN's sister channels -- HLN, CNN International and CNN en Espanol -- will also be carrying the memorial live. Robin Meade, A.J. Hammer and Jane Velez-Mitchell will anchor the coverage at HLN (formerly Headline News).

Just as it did for the inauguration of President Barack Obama, CNN will again team up with Facebook Connect so that Internet users can watch CNN coverage online as they update their Facebook status or communicate with friends using the CNN.com live video player.
