New Clients

Biscom’s Secure File Transfer for Legal software is deployed in three of the top-10 AmLaw firms and has a growing base of AmLaw 200 clients. Revenue Growth

Due to its rapid adoption fueled by legal organizations’ need to secure their document exchange, Biscom gained an 85% revenue growth year-over-year.  In addition to the acquisition of new clients, existing clients continued to expand their use of Biscom. Upgrades accounted for 34% of total revenue in 2011, with the average upgrade representing a 154% increase in sender licenses.

New Partnerships

The legal marketplace has taken note of Biscom’s ability to effectuate secure file transfer, as evidenced by the creation of key partnerships in 2011. Both mindSHIFT Technologies and Innovative Computing Systems have signed reseller agreements with Biscom in order to extend the company’s document exchange technology to their clients and prospects.  These partnerships follow on the heels of partnerships announced in 2010 which included those with Adaptive Solutions, Keno Kozie, Traveling Coaches, TOSS, Litera and Loffler Companies.

BDS 4.1 adds major integrations to Biscom’s secure file transfer solution with anti-virus and PayPal

Chelmsford, MA August 11, 2011 – Biscom is pleased to announce the first e-commerce capable secure file transfer server with the 4.1 release of Biscom Delivery Server (BDS). Users can now attach payment requirements before files can be downloaded. BDS version 4.1 also includes anti-virus integration, enhanced reporting, IP address-restricted login, and proxy server support.

The additions to BDS withversion 4.1 include:

• PayPal Integration  –  Senders can now collect payment for files before the recipient is able to download them.
• Anti-Virus Integration  – Enhanced security feature scans files for viruses before they are downloaded.
• Enhanced Reporting – Builds on robust reporting features and includes the ability for the sender to see who has viewed delivered files.
• IP filtering – Granular access control to the application based on IP addresses.
• Inactivity-based User Expiration  – Companies can manage their sender licenses more efficiently by automatically disabling the license (but not the user) after a period of inactivity.
• Proxy Support – Works with servers that require a proxy to access the Internet.
