Hello Readers,Welcome Back TO ART,In This Tutorial I Will Show You How To Backup Blogger Blog.Making a backup of your blog is what every blogger should practice. Since Google Reader has been shut down, rumors have been spread that Blogger MAY shut down too. So being sorry in the near future would not help you but the backup you make now would surely do.Though Blogger is owned by Google and is one of the most secured platform and can't be hacked easily still we never know if our password gets stolen or we by mistake delete a post.

A blogger must backup his blog periodically and to make this task easier I am going to tell you how you can do this by 3 different methods. So here they are -

Method 1 : The Traditional Way

This is certainly the most common method and many of you out here may know it. In this method we Import the blog posts and download the blog's template from Blogger.com itself. A detailed post on the same can be find on the below link which I have wrote earlier.

Making backup of the template

Go to Blog Title → Template. Click at Backup/Restore button at Top right. A Popup box will appear click on Download full template button. Your template will start downloading.Making backup of all the posts

Head up to Blog Title → Settings → Other → Blog Tools. Click on Export Blog option. A popup box will appear again. Click on Download blog option. Your posts will be downloaded. you can upload it to other CMS Platoforms like WordPress too.

Save the file. You are done. Make sure you make Posts backup once in a week.

Now you have both Posts as well as template backup. You can import them whenever you want. Make you blog's backup before its too late.

Method 2 : Downloading Data from Google Dashboard

This is probably the easiest method to backup all your blog's template and posts with just few clicks. So to make backup from this method follow the steps below -

1. First of all go to Google Dashboard. You would be asked to login there. 2. After logging in, click "Download Your Data" link which will be on the left sidebar. 3. Click on Create an Archive Button. 4. A list of many Google Products will come, from the list select Blogger. After Selecting click on the button "Create Archive" which will be at the top of the list.

5. After clicking a Progress Bar will show the status of your archive being created. After few seconds a download button will appear. Clicking that you will again be prompted to Sign in for security reasons.

6. One you sign in again, you can download the backup of all the blog you have in your blogger account with their template and posts. The backup is now saved in your local disk.

Method 3 : Backup via Software

The third method is also quite easy. In this method we will use a third party software which is Blogger Backup Utility. This software helps you download the posts of your blogger blog (no template backup) easily with the help of the blog's feed. You get various options to workout with the software. To make a backup from Blogger Backup Utility follow the below steps -

1. Download Blogger Backup Utility from HERE. Extract and Install the Software.

2. From the available blogs dropdown select Add/Update/Remove Blogs option.

3. Enter your Blogger ID and password and wait for the blogs list to be fetched.

4. Once the process is completed select the desired blog from the dropdown and get a look at the below options such as as save post in individual or single file etc.

5. Lastly click on Backup Posts button and the backup will be saved in the folder selected. Thats it. Your posts are now backed up and saved in your local disk.

Sometimes it becomes a great need to contact an author, and if there are no any sufficient measures for it readers may get disappointed and leave visiting the specific blog.

So, in this tutorial, we will be discussing on creating the contact form. You guys just need to follow my simplified steps.

So, let's get Started;

Go To This Link(Opens In New Tab)

Go Through Sign-Up,And Choose Free Plan.

Now Fill Your Info On Sign-Up Form.

Then In It's Dashboard,Choose Contact & Lead Form.

In the form name, type the title of your contact form and click on "OK"
Then, you can see the layout of the form. Just make it as you like
Then Click On Preview Form And Then Click Continue Button.
Then Again Click On Continue Button
Select Blogger (Since We Are Using Blogger Platform)
Then Copy The Codes

Open Your Blogger Dashboard And Select Your Blog
Click On Page And create A New Page
Switch To HTML From Compose Button
Paste The Code and give a suitable title.
At last, click on publish post.

Open Your Blogger Dashboard And Select Your Blog
Select Layout.
Select HTML/JavaScript,
Paste your Code In That Box
Click on Save button.

Here i have override the Html css code with css3 to change html scrollbar, this css3 webkit feature being added to html by overriding the css code ant it will change old white scrollbar to colored scrollbar and its width, this scrollbar give a beautiful look to your blog/website.

How to stop your own pageviews in blogger

Blogger is one of the best platform to blogging, and there many good advantages available, anyone can start their blog and get all features and facilities for free. I’ve published many tips, tricks, tutorials, blogger templates, widgets etc.. in my older posts, if you are new here then must check out it, Well, one of the best feature in blogger that you can see real time stats of your blog, if you don’t know about this feature then must check out by going to blogger dashboard —> click on drop down list at right side and choose “stats” now you able to see your blog’s real time stats, overview, and also you can see that which posts have more pageviews hourly, weekly, monthly, or all time. for more detail see image below.

You can see in above image that how we can get information of how many entries (Visits) are done by a day or as i already said also you can see by hourly, monthly or all time by clicking on left side button with names “Now” “Week” “Month” etc.

So, by this feature you can simply get idea that how much pageviews you get by monthly, but make sure you have stop to tracking your own page views, yes, you haven’t set up it then i recommended you to stop to track your own pageviews, if blogger tracks all visitors pageviews including yours then you cannot get perfect idea suppose your blog has 5000 pageviews per day including your page views 2000 then real pageviews are only 3000. So, it will be good if you stop tracking your own pageviews for know the real performance of your blog.

Now if you want to stop your own pageviews then just go to blogger >> Stats >> Overview. Now just under the page views statistics click on “Don’t track your own pageviews” link,

then new pop up window will appear and will ask you to you want to track your own pageviews or not, then just choose “Don’t track my own pageviews and finally save it. Now blogger will stop your own pageviews :)

Hope this post will help you, to stop rid of you to tracking your own pageviews to your blog. however, you can also use Google analytics to know your pageviews and visits of your blog. :)

How To Add Stylish Page Loading Effect In Blogger

Well recently I added an effect on my blog that used to Add Loading Effects In Blogger as someone clicks on any post link. So this effect looks cool and also removes the waiting time problem when visitors has a slow connection. Well now by waiting time it will not actually make your blog fast (I think it will effect the loading time) but when visitors click on any post link he will see this loading effect which will make him believe that the post is just loading and it will popup any time soon. So now if you are still thinking about what kind effect I am talking about just try to click on any post link and you will see the grey background fade in with that Ajax loader .gif file. So now if you think this effect looks awesome well just add this effect to your blog too and enjoy. [Demo] so you saw this awesome effect right.

So now let me remind you its just a work of CSS and JavaScript, so you are not really adding a loader to your site but it’s a visual widget that gets loaded when we command it too, and it might even increase your blogs loading time as it’s a script based work, so if you are already using enough JavaScript files then do not add this widget else it works fine just give it a try.
