Hudson sprained his ankle this week. Not to worry, only a Level One Sprain. Now, when he sprains his ankle at school, I was kind of hoping, if you’re all not too busy, you would consider calling me…

Earlier this week, a actually worked. Yes, I did a, how you say, job. But, the whole thing could have fallen through at any moment, at the exact moment that I reveal that I don’t really don’t know how to do a damned thing unless I can do it sitting here at my Mac.

Tim Coyne (The Hollywood Podcast) and I video taped and produced an “electronic press kit” for a baby/toddler fashion school. Luckily, it wasn’t as mind-numbing as I’d expected, thanks to the constant distraction:pairs and pairs of salt-water balloons.

Not to give away too much of the story, here’s a link to the resulting video. I’d wait and watch it after listening. It make a lot more sense.

Apparently, the word I butchered is spelled “shadenfraud”

Strange one.

Started out talking innocently enough about the Today Show segment, being a stay-at-home dad when the camera are not rolling, today being tax day, which means I’ve had to come head to head with just how little I make a year, and the one day I actually talked to another parent at the park and Princess T. almost breaks her back.
In part two I explain the devastating depressive spiral I had to edit out of the show. Listen, the truth is, I’m just trying to get through the next 25 minutes.

Hudson and I adjusted the front derailer on my hand-me-down bicycle. You know, every once in a while, you really need to adjust your derailers.

I also read a segment from my upcoming best seller.

I have got to stop guzzling caffiene, eating freezer pancakes and chocolate covered coffee beans, and get a night’s sleep. And, for some reason I have some sort of major bus-riding-anxiety. I would feel more comfortable hitchhiking than getting on a public bus.

When you’re doing your radio show, and you bring in some cameras and start broadcasting video, you are no longer doing a radio show. You are doing television. Fill the box, idiot!

Do we really need to watch Jason Calacanis walk his dog, or Chris Pirillo read his e-mail? But guess what, the joke’s on us because we’re the ones who are watching.

My daughter was accepted into H’s school. Can she please start kindergarten now, please? RIGHT NOW? I’m begging you!

In part two, I discuss the explosion that almost took out my local Quizno’s and did take out one of Westchester’s finest. I also admit why I keep the back gate locked up tight.

I talk about getting Studio VW fixed, the round and around with the dryer that won’t shut up, and can’t seem to broadcast on UStream, even though even an idiot can do it. (This image here has NO resemblance to the actual UStream video).

Did Easter used to have something to do with Jesus or something? When did the candy come into it?

Well, I’m off the Paxil (I think) and back from “The Big Island.” I’m sure it has an actual name, but that what I call it because it’s easier than remembering Wahalamakaluaiu (or whatever it is).

Yes, back from Paradise on Earth (a.k.a. The Four Seasons Resort, Kona), back from hanging out with the excellent BMW dealers of the western U.S. of A., and back from being in yet another setting where I end up feeling like a unicorn or three headed toad or some other strange and unimaginable creature.

Yes, the full grown adult male who actually wants to spend serious play time with his own children in an upper-middle class setting is somewhat of an anomaly…

I might feel differently if I actually made enough money to hire a nanny and play golf all day and wear a dive watch in the hot tub, but I really don’t think so. I think I would still just snorkel with the kids. Does that make me strange? Good, bring it on!

I am going through Paxil withdrawal. I admit it, I’ve been on anti-depressants to treat a non-depression related…”situation” (that I’m just not ready to make like of yet). And, it’s time to give up. The problem is, I am now (as the New York Times mistakenly “claimed”) an addict. Literally. Apparently, Paxil is hard to shake. So, if you’re not depressed when you start taking it, just wait and see how you feel when you stop…

My doctor said today would be the tough day, and of course, today is the day I decided to shop for a skin-tight swimming shirt to wear on our trip to Hawaii. That’s after gaining yet another five pounds or so trying to eat my way through withdrawals. I type this while eating a slice of pizza. I will never learn.
