For anyone who hasn't been to the West Coast of Australia, here are some pics. 1. Is the gorgeous coast line, 2 MY FAVOURITE.Go swimming with the dolphins in Monkey Mia. Who wouldnt love to do that! 3.The Pinnacles, formed from lime leaching through the sand. Very Spectacular. 4 Images form Lake Carnegie, I love the details and the colour. 5. A local kangaroo having his morning hop along the beach. 6.Wave like pinnacle formation.

What a great place to visit!

For the creatively minded, here are some great local, East Sydney shops I like to visit. First off, is a great book shop called Lamella Art and Books 748 Bourke St- 9319 2598. It is packed with cutting edge books on visual design. Next is Anibou 726 Bourke St 9319 0655, they sell lovely high end yummy furniture.

Last but not least is Spence and Lyda 16 Forster St Surry Hills 92126747. It is packed with new designer homeware pieces . Just stunning ! A MUST SEE! Below is a fabo chair by Autoban

BULBUL BIRDS LEAVE THE NEST

The three bulbul chicks have left there nest. They moved across the garden into our rosemary tree and sit snuggled together, SO CUTE! They get many feeds a day from mum and dad. The proud parents make lots of noise before feeding and then swoop down and feed the babies.
This morning to our amazement they had gone, and moved house totally.
It was quite something to see there progression.

RED WHISKERED BUL BUL BIRD / CHICK ARRIVALS

The 3 Bul Bul Bird eggs in our garden/nest have hatched and they are adorable. At first they look like little jelly creatures and now are black with small wings and feathers. Eyes are still not open. Mum and Dad are very attentive and feed there babies at least 6 times a day. It is a noisy affair, lots of chirping and excitement.

They are now one week old and have grown amazingly fast.

Soon to set flight!

'bkhdesign" and loads of other designers of homewares, jewellery ,stationary and even animal fashion will be exhibiting and selling there products.

RED WHISKERED BULBUL BIRD

A few weeks ago we noticed that the little bulbul bird was visiting our palm tree and collecting twigs, and later discovered alittle deep nest had been creatively built. I have followed its progression and much to our amazement we saw three little eggs. I have read up on them and found out that anyday soon they will hatch. Here are the latest pictures of the eggs and nest. I will keep everyone updated on the chicks arrivals.
