I have a confession to make…I’ve become a laundry detergent hoarder!! But, honestly, who could blame me when you get to try out the latest and greatest as a Purex Insiders member. Soft Scrub Advanced Surface #review

I am a huge fan of Soft Scrub products, so I was excited when I got the chance to try out the NEW Soft Scrub Advanced Surface cleaner! The Soft Scrub Advanced Surface cleaner is a rinse-free gel that cleans and polishes granite and marble counter tops, glass cook tops and stainless steel. It is tough on stains but gentle on even the most delicate surfaces. I was super excited to try out the product on my glass cook top as I had recently run out of the specially made cleaner that has to be used on those particular cook tops. The gel was easy to glide over the messes on my cook top surface without being super runny. I used a sponge with a scrubbing surface on the harder stains and was pleasantly surprised that the Soft Scrub Advanced Surface cleaner was able to get the stains out! The best part of this product is that it doesn’t cost nearly the amount of money it does to buy specially made cleaners for appliances like a glass cook top.

Soft Scrub Advanced Surface cleaner requires no rinsing, just simply wipe away with a damp sponge, cloth or paper towel for a quick and easy clean up of grease and grime. Purex with Fabric Softener

As a Purex Insider, I get the amazing opportunity to try out a bunch of different products before they hit the market. Recently, I got the chance to try out one of the newest laundry detergent products from Purex called “Purex plus Fabric Softener.” I am not one to generally use fabric softener outside of throwing a drier sheet into a load of clothes that need drying, so I was excited to try this product out. Upon first use, I could notice a difference in how soft and clean smelling my clothes were. The scent, Fresh Spring Waters, is absolutely amazing and reminds me of a clean, spring day after a fresh rain fall. It isn’t overpowering and would be great for someone who is sensitive to fragrances. I really like the idea of putting the laundry detergent together with the fabric softener because it means I have one less bottle to worry about, but still get the same great results of fresh, bright and clean clothing.

Campbell’s Go Soups #GoSoup

When it comes to preparing my lunch during the week when I’m at work, I often times struggle coming up with tasty and non-boring items to eat. However, my family and I had the chance to try out a new product from Campbell’s called Campbell’s Go Soup.

Campbell’s Go Soups are a line of six flavorful soups in pouches that can be heated within minutes for a hot, quick and tasty meal. Most of the flavors in the Go Soup line are either mildly spicy or have some type of odd seasoning that I’m not very familiar with and because I’m so picky, I had Alan try out the majority of the flavors! He really liked the Moroccan Style Chicken with Chickpeas reporting that it was very hearty and filling but didn’t care too much for the Coconut Curry with Chicken and Shiitake Mushrooms and reported that the latter smelled very funny.

Other flavors in the line include: Golden Lentil with Madras Curry, Creamy Red Pepper with Smoked Gouda, Chicken & Quinoa with Poblano Chilies and Spicy Chorizo & Pulled Chicken with Black Beans. My family and I shop frequently at Kroger Brand store, Dillons, on an almost bi-weekly basis for our groceries and household items. 20 Mule Team Borax Review & Giveaway

Typically used as a natural laundry booster, 20 Mule Team Borax, is an amazing product that can be used for anything and everything when it comes to cleaning. Prior to trying out the product, I had never heard of Borax let alone all the wonderful things it can do. I added it to my cleaning routine and was surprised by how effective it was at cleaning various areas of my home such as the bathroom and kitchen.

Borax is the common name for sodium tetraborate: a naturally occuring substance produced by the repeated evaporation of seasonal lakes. It is 100% natural and 99.5% pure having been removed from the ground, washed, dried and boxed. It is used a laundry booster and can be added to your regular laundry load with detergent and bleach; about 1/2 cup 20 Mule Team Borax per load.

Where I found 20 Mule Team Borax most helpful was in the bathroom and kitchen. I used 1/4 cup of product in my toilet bowl to help remove the grim. It can also be used to remove soap scum, hard water deposits and dirt from the shower stall, tub and walls. In the kitchen, I used 20 Mule Team Borax to clean my counter tops and microwave by dissolving 1/2 cup product into one gallon of hot water. BellaVita iPhone Wristlet Review

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to review a very nice leather wristlet by BellaVita for my iPhone 4s. I received the wristlet in the color Bacca, which is a very pretty shade of intense pink; it isn’t pretty, pretty princess pink but it isn’t so bright that it burns your eye either. The wristlet, made out of a luxurious buttery soft leather, features a slot for your iPhone which gives you easy access to call, text, take photos and more but at the same time allows you to carry everyday necessities such as an ID, credit cards, and paper money. I like the idea of the BellaVita wristlet because it allows me to carry all of my outing necessities along with my phone without being bogged down by a huge purse all day. I loved to simplicity of the wristlet and the fact that it allowed me to keep my hands and shoulders free from the extra purse baggage I usually lug around.

The BellaVita comes in a variety of colors: Bacca (Pink), Violetta (Purple), Caramello (Tan/Camal), Marina (Navy Blue), Celeste (Blue), Cioccolato (Brown), and Fiore (Red).
