A 'particle' is a spinning vortex of 'quanta'. Around a so-called 'atomic nucleus' are a series of shells created at intervals of harmonic resonance. Within these shells, other spins of quanta occur as a result of energy density displacement; smaller vortices at the interface planes between disparate energy levels are created, smaller fractals of larger spinning forms (See Vorticles Graphics).
These smaller vortexes (electrons, planets, etc) are really by products and part of the centralised, encompassing spinning field, fully enclosed within its resonance.

The 'electron' cannot be said to have an actual position and course around the 'nucleus' at any given time (according to the uncertainty principle) when viewed from 'outside' the field of spin.

Instead, a cloud of potential positions is visualised around the nucleus, an infinite number of potential positions and vectors - a multitude of potential realities. Inside the 'timespace' field of the spin, actual positions of these satellite vortices is determinable as spinning, orbiting vortices (the geometrical inverse of spheres) around central forms encased in the overall field. In the solar system, accretion of matter occurs at 'tidal' trojan and LaGrange points created by vortexial pressures where gravity wells pre-exist in the field (See Planar Nets).
Our solar system is encased in the Sun’s 'solar bubble', a plasma field; the resonance of this field defines the orbits of the planets - planar nets rolling down the perpetual hill of their orbits (with the exception of Uranus, which spins like a top while doing so).

Neither Waves Nor Particles
Light is information in formation. It is not propagated via small massless particles, nor directly by waves. Timespace is packed full of spinning virtual 'vorticles' which affect each other's spin components whenever a signal affects any one of them in the compressible field of timespace; 'light' and other frequencies of information are passed through this alteration in the vorticles at the maximum possible speed - that of the spin rate of the vorticles themselves, the 'speed of light'. This is not a fixed value, as the spin rates themselves are not fixed universally, but alter according to local conditions. The spin rate determines lightspeed and the apparent rate of passage of time itself (see Time Shift). A single vorticle is a model for an electron, an atom, a star and the universe itself...

At yet another scale of resolution the spinning vortex is so vast that an individual’s perspective point sees what appears to be a self-bounding curved spacetime field with a background hum apparently ‘left over from a big bang’. This hum is actually the resonance of the structure of the spactime ‘lattice’ (the quantum field) oscillating between its core and its extremities (see

The frequency of the universe is defined by its volume and mass. The universe is a hologram. So are we.

…All that we may see or seem is but a dream within a dream…

The atom is a vortexial field. On the surface of the rolling accretion sphere, deep in a gravity well/lens, living on the bottom of an atmospheric ocean, the action and attention of human beings is largely flattened onto the horizontal axis. We are polarised into a vertical plane pointing outward toward the source of free light and energy and inward toward patterned matter (Mater + Pater = Creation).

The field density which determines the interface/compaction of the tetrahedral matrix determines the ‘higher’ geometric forms the tetrahedra can transform into, through rotations in four dimensions – potential time – and the interlacing of fields produced at each minimal (quantum) interval as an object travels.

Polarity of charge is determined by direction of the quantum spin. Vortexial flow pressures cause quanta (or vortices) spinning in the same direction to repel each other; those spinning in opposite directions (upside-down in relation to each other) are pushed together and attract each other due to the same energic pressures formed by turbulence and drag.

SINGULARITY

What is a singularity? A black holeis postulated to be a singularity, a point with an event horizon and orbiting accretion disc, often with energic jets above and/or below. Matter and energy are rent by the suction of these tiny vacuum cleaners. Where does all this stuff go when it ‘enters’ the singularity after its long cascade through ever-slowing time? Some postulate that it comes out of ‘white holes’ somewhere else.

The universe is also a holographic singularity. All true singularities have a holographic commonality with each other; they are all the one, single entity. Thus, while the universe itself is a vast ‘white hole’ into which matter is continually accreting from ‘higher dimensions’, the energy poured into black holes – singularities – literally squeezes out everywhere. All the rotating ‘quanta’ – spinning ‘vorticles’ – are the corollary of black holes.

The universe is a self-maintaining vortex, having no beginning nor end in timespace. With all the other levels of the fluid tessellated hologram that comprises timespace, the uni-verse is unique among infinite alternative possibilities – the largely unacknowledged corollary of quantum theory.

A ‘particle’ is a spin of turbulence in timespace; self-bonded nothingness. Light is neither particles nor waves – these effects are both by-products of a bonded field of vorticles in a hologramic whole.

There is no ‘dark energy’ or ‘dark matter’. These confabulations were invented by desperate cosmologists when modern observations made the old Big Bang hypothesis utterly untenable. They are desperate attempts to prop up a rotten old false theory that makes about as much sense as the doctrine of Original Sin and was produced by minds (mal)formed amid the same pernicious fables that gave rise to such nonsense. These ‘dark’ entities were invented to explain the fact that the ‘early universe’ seemed to have expanded and
gained its current configuration far more quickly than was possible under the notion that it was merely 13.6 billion years old and a corresponding distance in width.

Because nothing could be seen that could account for the extraordinary expansion that would be necessary to create the observable universe under outdated doctrine, theoreticians simply invented unseen (i.e. ‘dark’) things to explain a non-existent phenomenon. They
even made nonsensical claims of an inexplicable hyperinflation of their singleton, simpleton ‘universe’ to keep their fracturing story straight. Now that millions of person hours and innumerable careers have been wasted on this arrant nonsense, it’s very difficult for any astrophysicist to tell the simple truth – that the cosmos of time and space is infinite, and there was no creation and no creator. To do so would be career suicide for anyone with a vested interest in misleading nonsense, or a desire to remain within the sheeplike flock and foolish fold of the duplicitous regional lies known as religions.

Perspective and knowledge are wonderful things, yet the aerie of truth can be an eerily lonely place in a binding, blinding era of one-eyed rulers and indoctrinated rules. True independence and bravery are required for anyone interested in apprehending a truer vision of reality; most simply choose to descend back into the morass of illusion, pluck out the eye that offends and cease seeking ‘unfortunate’ truths.

The reason the cosmos is perpetually expanding is that an infinite sea of manifesting ‘particles’ – which are actually holographic fractal components of the greater multiversal whole – are continuously spreading the ‘fabric of space’ by their very appearance. Energy is continuously accreting into our observable timespace as a result of this mechanism
– and ‘matter’ is continuously precipitating into our plenum by the same mechanism. The cosmos is perpetually self-renewing and utterly infinite – a recursive holographic fractal forever giving rise to new versions of itself.
There is nothing ‘dark’ about it. Everything is light.

by R. Ayana

Much of 20th Century science has already been discredited, yet too much nonsense is still being taught. It’s time to examine a plethora of false assumptions being foisted on impressionable minds by ignorant authority figures. The precepts and concepts that made the reputations of last century’s physicists and cosmologists are all partially correct at best and utterly wrong and misleading at worst. To believe that their notions were more correct than those of ‘natural philosophers’ who inhabited the relative Dark Ages of preceding centuries is a testament to folly and hubris.

The lies of religions and other tribal superstitions poisoned all sense and reason until the very recent past. In many benighted regions of the globe this mental slavery still holds minds in thrall to fantastic idiocy. The underlying motive for the promulgation of the Big Bang theory – whereby our entire universe supposedly came into being less than fourteen thousand million years ago – has nothing to do with mathematics or physics.

The Big Bang was invented by human beings encased in a cultural matrix that originated in the Bronze Age and was literally beaten into the young brains of untold generations of illiterates. Millennia of blind religious dogma blighted lives with the lie that an invisible ‘god’ created the world, the Sun, the moon and stars in merely six short days, and then took a day off work. Along with everyone else, educated people were preprogrammed to believe in such a creation event from infancy.

No matter how enlightened, the scientists of the day were riven and driven by the childish vision of a creator god inhabiting a heavenly realm somehow removed from ‘mundane’ reality. They invented the idea of some preexisting reality before time space as a result (without exploring the complex hyperspatial and hyperdimensional theories which would make this concept both a possibility, and simultaneously an absurdity.

Two Seminal False Assumptions of Scientific Creationism

The Big Bang is a mathematical absurdity masquerading as physics. It’s based on two largely unexamined assumptions, both of which are false although based on valid observations that truly indicate an entirely different cosmology. One is the phenomenon of red shift (whereby the majority of objects in the observable universe appear slightly red) and the other is referred to as the Hubble Constant - a
ubiquitous hum in a narrow range of background radiation observed wherever we look (or rather listen) throughout the cosmos.

The red shift was ascribed solely to the Doppler Effect – the same phenomenon that causes the sound of a train whistle to seem to rise in pitch (frequency) as it approaches an observer, and lower in frequency as it departs. When related to visible objects, anything approaching an observer appears more bluish (as light wavelengths appear shortened and bunched up towards the blue end of the spectrum) and receding objects appear reddened (because the light from receding objects appears stretched to an observer). Because the majority of celestial
bodies appear reddish it was assumed that everything was moving away from us and everything else in the aftermath of a primordial explosive event – a Big Bang.

As demonstrated by pioneering astrophysicist Halton Arp 1 (and subsequently by David Talbott, Wal Thornhill and other proponents of modern ‘electric universe’ theory 2), the Doppler Effect can’t possibly account for many observed phenomena associated with the reddening of celestial bodies. Some share the same apparent red shift while obviously moving in entirely different directions. Their postulated distances from our point of observation and each other – as theorised using red shift for a benchmark – are obviously incorrect in
light of a number of observable anomalies.

The reddening of celestial bodies is caused by a number of factors including (but not confined to) the Doppler Effect. Among these are the fact that space is not a vacuum at all (as believed when red shift was first ascribed to the Doppler Effect), but filled with all manner of energies and filtering mechanisms. As a result, light experiences an effective signal loss over great distances and this translates into
a shift towards the red and infrared end of the light spectrum, as shorter frequencies – the blue/violet end of the spectrum – are more easily occluded. The same applies, in varying degrees, to all bands of radiation we use to observe the cosmos (including radioastronomy).

Thus the limits of our ‘observable universe’ are no limits at all, but merely the limit of observation using the electromagnetic spectrum as a yardstick. The universe didn’t begin 13 or 14 (or even 200) billion years ago as indicated by this false assumption, but is in fact infinite. We just can’t see very far through the soup of timespace.

That this is true is revealed by a number of observations, including the fact that no matter how far we look through the sea of time, supposedly primordial ‘infant’ galaxies and other structures appear virtually identical to those we see around us today. This contravenes many precepts of Big Bang theory, as do many observations made since we lifted our sights and sightlines beyond Earth’s occluding atmospheric envelope and began to see the cosmos as it actually appears.

According to ‘electric universe’ theory and contemporary observations that demolish most of the cherished notions of 20th Century astrophysics, the primary ‘force’ acting throughout the cosmos is not gravity at all – gravity is a very tenuous field – but (what we incorrectly term) electromagnetism. And according to the postmodern electrical paradigm, the redness of many celestial bodies indicates not their speed of recession but their age – or rather, their energetic levels and even their relative youth!

Thus one of the only two planks that seemed to necessitate the idea of a Big Bang does not actually exist; most things in the cosmos are probably not racing away from everything else at all, and the increased redness of more distant objects is mainly due to signal loss.

The remaining plank that seemed to underlie and confirm the Big Bang hypothesis– the Hubble Constant (named for astronomer Erwin Hubble, to whom the famous first space telescope was also dedicated), has also been ascribed to the wrong cause entirely. The
all-pervasive background ‘hum’ in the hydrogen band that’s noted wherever our electronic ears listen to the celestial ‘music of the spheres’ isn’t an echo of an ancient explosion, but is due to a now well-known and widely recognised quantum effect whereby virtual particles are continually appearing within and disappearing from the observable (4D) universe.

‘Space’ isn’t space, but is filled with innumerable wavelengths (energies) that generally cancel each other out, resulting in a near-vacuum state. This state isn’t a vacuum or a zero-point field of fluctuations (as often described) but a field that oscillates around scalar zero – conceived as being slightly ‘above’ the zero point, and originally believed to be so negligible as to be immeasurable and irrelevant. When 18th, 19th and 20th Century physicists first calculated all the details of orbital mechanics this reality was entirely unknown; their figures were all predicated on the false assumption that all celestial bodies interact in a complete vacuum.

Newton’s blind clockwork universe and Einstein’s divine plan are equally illusory. God doesn’t play dice (because there is no external god rolling the deadly die) but chance interactions – the freewheeling will of cosmic fields and forces – is everchanging and inherently unpredictable. Everything is possible and we inhabit an infinite interacting series of parallel universes, all interwoven by probability and the wills of conscious beings.

This sea of virtual particles gives rise to a perceivable ‘hum’ produced by little vortices in timespace (effectively electrons and positrons) that occur wherever wavelengths interact in suitable configurations – and as waves are always interacting in innumerable configurations, there are always some that give rise to relatively stable and measurable forms. Some of the most basic of these effectively appear as ‘hydrogen ions’, continually flashing into and out of existence as a result of perpetual wave interactions. These occasionally remain in our plenum when they happen to manifest in a geometrical configuration that remains stable (by virtue of simple mechanical interactions), producing what physics has conceived as ‘atoms’, or ‘ions’. 3

Thus the Hubble Constant is not an echo of a non-existent Big Bang, but the continuous resonant hum of infinitude tiny vortices, as hyperdimensional energies which transcend the recognised four dimensions of space and time perpetually condense into observable energy in our timespace (See TimeSpace).

It’s worthwhile to note that ‘particles’ are not simply continually emerging in the ‘vacuum of space’, but within pre-existing forms of denser energy fields and material forms as well. In fact, the more dense a field they manifest within the more likely they are to lodge into pre-existing patterns, and to remain in timespace rather than immediately wink back out of existence. When extra particles appear within the energy matrix of matter, more complex and more ‘dense’ forms of matter are formed. Thus ‘matter’ is continuously condensing – growing more dense and complex – and celestial bodies are all slowly growing through time. 4

There are no ‘Higg’s Bosons’, as there is no need for them or most of the other invented confabulations in the ‘particle zoos’ of 20th Century physicists. Simpler geometrical forms simply give rise to progressively more complex geometrical forms and the morphic fields of matter literally attract energy – and more matter – via simplex mechanisms, not through abstruse, ‘spooky’ or exotically impenetrable interactions.

Light Amidst the Darkness

They even made nonsensical claims of an inexplicable hyperinflation of their singleton, simpleton ‘universe’ to keep their fracturing story straight.

Balking At Wholes

Similarly, the concept of black holes was invented to explain – to prop up – untenable and incorrect theories. As the stars are neitherthe big bonfires of the ancients nor the nuclear furnaces create d by the crushing forces of gravitational pressures or hydrogen/helium fusion effects proposed by outmoded physic(ist)s – but elements of a vast system of interacting circuits linked via Birkland Currents throughout ‘space’ – stars do not collapse into impossibly small singularities when they exhaust their ‘fuel’. Stars are actually not self-contained at all but are perpetually renewing and/or fluctuating nodes in vast circuits!

Modern observations of supernovae since the occurrence of supernova 1987A have yielded data that utterly fails to conform to standard theory. No supernovae can collapse to produce impossibly small rifts in timespace – singularities or ‘black holes’ – just as the infinite cosmos can never die, as it is infinite in time (and timelines) as well as in spatial extent.

It may come as a surprise to many readers that no black holes have ever been accurately identified or actually observed, and that all the presumed ‘evidence’ of their existence – such as ‘accretion disks’ around their supposed event horizons and stellar jets supposedly
streaming from their poles – are actually evidence in favour of electricity as the prime force in nature. The centre of our galaxy isn’t some void on a death trip to nowhere, but a vast, glowing, self-renewing and self-perpetuating locus of emergent light and energy. There are no black holes at the centres of galaxies, but vast regions of light, electricity and other energies continuously forming, spinning and growing as they perpetually replenish galaxies and the cosmos itself – fountainheads of light and life.

In fact, almost all the invented menagerie of stellar objects ranging from black holes to neutron stars, pulsars and quasars are incorrect explanations for widely recognised electromagnetic effects. Just like the particle zoos of subatomic physics, these imaginary entities have no bases in reality. They’re incorrect imaginings based on false and unexamined assumptions.

The Einsteins and Hawkings of the last century were gifted mathematicians – not astrophysicists using true scientific methods arising from observation, but theoreticians developing half-baked ideas based on extraordinarily abstruse imaginings. They were working with flawed and partial evidence as the bases of their ideas, mostly ‘borrowed’ from other luminaries extrapolating from equally flawed data. They lived in relatively primitive times and attempted explanations for the wonders of ‘creation’ using incorrect data and false assumptions. They couldn’t
help but be wrong.

‘Space’ itself is a soon-to-be discredited term for the ‘luminiferous aether’ – the plenum of light recognised by ancients and natural philosophers of more recent eras - an all-pervasive field whose existence was NOT disproven by the 19th Century Michelson-Morley experiments, as widely claimed;5 another simplistic error that has misled science for more than a century.

No external or externalised god or goddess exists. There was no instant of creation, for creation is constant and eternal. We are all holographic parts of a holographic whole in an infinite cosmos of unending possibility.

It’s time to discard the timeworn apparel of binding blinkers and to enter a new dawning world of extraordinary potential with naked, open, honest eyes and innocently open minds. Welcome to the new Millennium and behold the new paradigm, for the future is upon us! Thou art god(dess) – and so is everyone else.

Care to dare, and share the only truth? A billion open minds are awaiting your decision.
If, as is likely, you doubt any of the aforementioned facts and ideas, it would be wise to investigate the extraordinarily well formulated theories of the proponents of modern Electric Universe cosmology – particularly the Thunderbolts website @ http://www.thunderbolts.org

The mess accumulates and energy swells
as adventurous travelers strut toward the promise of a truly
psychedelic experience - an indelible climax to the weekend’s hedonistic
foreplay. By midday throngs already amass in the painted streets and
shaded byways of the far out little village of Nimbin. Saturday’s brilliantine noonday heat transforms the vibrant subtropical splendour of
the verdant landscape into a viridian radiance of enervating humidity.
The autumnal atmosphere verges back into the sweaty green steambath
conditions common during the last few years’ runaway greenhouse summers.
Yet untrammeled vigour still
imbues the eagerly expectant assembly of freaks, straights, tourists
and wannabe contenders with unabated intensity as they mingle and jostle
for the year’s best buds, heads, colas and other less combustible
comestibles. A demi-multitude straggles into town along gravel tracks
and bitumen arteries, undeterred by the heat of climate catastrophe or
police state shenanigans....

and laughter erupted from the sparking bonfire on the other side of the party-strewn paddock, where flittering gouts of flaming starlets poured up to greet the Milky Way.

“It great,” Zen beamed through the smaller campfire. “We want to live here, but our visa run out soon.” He turned to his partner Shi, who was briskly nodding her agreement. The Japanese couple was obviously enjoying this taste of tribal tepee life in the hippified Rainbow Region of Oz, yet they’d shifted an arm’s length apart amid the small circle of newfound friends. Despite their recent exposure to naked hippies and public lovemaking, the shaman surmised the couple’s rigidified Nipponese upbringing still ensured they betrayed no overt signs of physical affection.

“You can always come back, bud,” Cameron assured him.

Zen balanced Shi’s hand on his knee. “I want to. We want to.”

“You’ve had no trouble here?” asked Cameron. The young travelers looked to one another before Shi answered for them both; “No, not trouble. Just some old people swear at us in Queensland.” She shrugged her slight shoulders while flying foxes screeched through the treetops.

“You may encounter that with many older people here, particularly in Queensland – because of World War Two. You know what I’m talking about?” Ram felt like Basil Fawlty attempting to be diplomatic as the thought ‘Don’t mention the war’ flitted through his bedazzled noggin. The visitors glanced at each other again before Zen nodded. “Yes, we hear of it,” he affirmed.

 .

“Well… older Queenslanders and other people in the north of Oz will never forget that the rest of the country was willing to hand them over
to Japan if New Guinea fell.”

“Everything north of Brisbane,” Cameron agreed. “And – well, no offence, but there were some hideous atrocities committed in that war
and a lot of older people don’t forget that, either.”

Zen tilted his head to one side. “Really?”

“There certainly were,” the shaman prince carefully enunciated each word through the flickering firelight. “Almost a lifetime ago now. There
is a new generation in Japan that has been told nothing of it – and isn’t responsible for any of it. We certainly do not hold it against
you. But the generations before us will never forget and many will never forgive – and the fact that nothing is taught about it in Japan is a
real concern to much of the world.”

“That’s right,” Cameron agreed. “Most of my older relatives hate Japan to this day. We grew up hearing horror stories about guys being carved up and tortured from my uncle. He was in the Pacific…”

“You have to remember,” Ram said with a glance to Cameron, “propaganda was at least as bad on all sides as it is today. Even worse in wartime, of course. The history we read and were taught isn’t very accurate either – it was written by the victors, after all…”

“Always is,” concurred Cameron.

“…There were atrocities on all sides – though the ruling caste of the Japanese government considered themselves superior to all other races, just like the Nazis. They treated everyone else just as badly as the S.S. did the Jews and Gypsies.

“Japan created a slaughterhouse all around them before Hiroshima was bombed,” Ram continued, holding Cameron’s firelit gaze. “But you know, they were actually forced into the war.”

“They were? I’ve heard that, but what do you mean? What about Pearl Harbour?” Cameron’s interest flared with the firelight.

“The West cut off their oil supplies and just about everything else they needed to make themselves self-sufficient in a colonial world. The
Japanese elite realised they could take the Western Pacific only if they could destroy the US military there in just six months – by wiping out its Pacific fleet in one stroke. Their plan actually unraveled right at the beginning at Pearl Harbour, when some of their targets escaped; but it’s all a long story, like the Opium Wars…”

“Ah,” Zen nodded. Shi was obviously struggling to keep up with the conversation and he translated in a rapid burst of Japanese. “This very
difficult, but interesting for us,” she said as comprehension dawned on her pretty face.

“Mind you,” Ram continued, “Japan took Manchuria – though they may have had ancestral links to the place – and the shocking war against China was fought in a despicable manner. Japan hadn’t signed the Geneva Convention…”

“No…” Zen asked the question as a statement.

“No,” Cameron averred.

“You don’t mind discussing this?” the Prince belatedly asked the young couple.

“No, we not mind,” Zen sayid for them both. “We want to know.”

“Well… you know that Japan bombed the city of Darwin, in the north of this country? Destroyed it completely?” Cameron asked. The visitors shook their heads in confusion. “Bombed many, many times. Or that midget submarines attacked Sydney Harbour?” The visitors were nonplussed.

“No…” Shi breathes. “We not know…”

“It cuts both ways,” Ram observed. “Australians weren’t told the truth about Darwin either, thanks to the excuse of wartime censorship. And we know so little about Nippon or its history – and everything we think we know is twisted out of true by the media, intelligence agencies and
politicians.” Watching the Japanese couple feel the pressure of the past, bowing their heads toward the fire and frowning in consternation,
he decided to change the subject; “You’ve had no trouble with young people here?”

“No,” Shi smiled, looking up from the flames. “Mostly it’s great.”

She turned to watch Mandy emerge from the night and pull a deckchair up by the fire. Ram’yana was aware that the feral had been silently
observing the conversation while twirling her blond dreadlocks in the shadows. He watched her watching the Japanese. She and her beau were slowly constructing their place in the Sun on the Star Earth tribal land, after their shady love shack mysteriously burned down a few weeks before the festival.

“When you come back from Japan you’d better arrange to bring some more of those young hippies with you,” Cameron laughed. “Save them by bringing them here to this hippy preserve.

“If we make it back,” Zen said, “Before something bad happen.”

“You think something bad is going to happen?” Cameron leaned forward into the heat. “Like what? War with China?”

Zen looked him in the eye. “Maybe that. Maybe something else. Not know what – but something. Many feel it in Japan. Things cannot go on as they are – something big is coming.” The Westerners sat in silence as he continued. “Maybe the Earth will rebel… But it good for me – it probably necessary for enlightenment, to go into the next… dimension?” *

“That’s the word,” the shaman assured him.

“Next dimension is where we all need to go. The next level.”

“I understand,” Ram said slowly, “but you know – it isn’t necessary to die to achieve enlightenment.” He caught Mandy’s approving smile across the flames. Zen appeared nonplussed. “And if there are another series of dimensions beyond this one – not parallel universes, but higher geometric dimensions – you know what I mean?” Zen nodded, hanging on every word. “Then we must already be in them, they must be accessible to us from here.” He saw he was moving beyond the visitors’ comprehension of English and took another tack that dovetailed with Zen’s interest in physics. “If eleven dimensions exist then how can we only exist in three or four of them? We must extrude, project, into all of them already. Understand?”

“Hmmm. This is very interesting. It not be necessary to die to be there… but how?”

“You know that the way out is always in?” the shaman asked him. Zen nodded in time with Shi. “Meditation, and the conscious development of the wider supersenses available to us; conscious exploration of those realms that we already extrude into, learning to see with new eyes… Armageddon isn’t necessary to achieve enlightenment. Purification by fire is not something you need to go through. You are free now.”

“Many people in Japan think we must die to go on,” Zen said. “They think it a good thing. This is very interesting. I must think about this…”

“Many people think the same thing here, too,” Cameron sympathised. “But we have to go on and endure. It’s too easy the other way. ‘Nobody gets off until the mess is cleaned up.’ ”

The visitors nodded more profusely at this sage pronouncement.

As any individual toxic compound combines with all the other stuff in a ‘modern’ human body in ever more chaotic synergy, it’s no surprise almost everyone in the modern world is walking wounded, half asleep, barely here – role-playing the parts of automata in an industrial nightmare instead of being here now. Soy products seemed like such a good idea at the time – during the short-sighted, fraudulent ‘green revolution’ that fed a fraction of yesterday’s world at the expense of tomorrow’s, and only succeeded in entrenching arms manufacturers in profitably toxic ‘agribusinesses’ that destroy the world’s ecosystems… and besides, the Chai Tent uses organic milk.

He passes the cups to the men and hands his own to the woman who accepts it gratefully. “It’s been up and running – supposedly being tested – for about a year now,” he replies.

“Thanks. So what’s it stand for?” asks Wanji. “‘Hypnotic Attack Array Removing Primates’, or what?”

“‘Hyperspace Activation Arc Resonating Portal’, perhaps?” the unknown woman suggests.

“‘High Frequency Active Auroral Research Project’, I believe,” Phico explains. “It’s capable of doing many things. It alters the local frequency of the ionosphere, for a start, and therefore alters the threshold of alpha and beta waves in the human brain.”

“And it can fuck up the weather, too, can’t it?” Wanji asks.

“A full-scale demonstration of concept would raise or lower the atmospheric envelope,” Ram elucidates as a flock of rainbow lorikeets
call loudly to one another overhead, “and that would automatically alter the Schumann Layer and the resonant frequency girdling the ionosphere…”

“…as well as create localised high or low pressure systems and possibly a whole lot more,” Phyco continues. The acrobat spins and contorts her fine, lithe body between earth and sky as the mandolin trills like a metallic songbird.

“Tell me,” Ram says between sips of steaming chai, “have you noticed an increase in apathy lately?”

“What,” Wanji smiles, “you mean like my get-up-and-go has got up and went? Funny you should mention that…”

“I’ve
heard a lot of people saying the same thing lately,” the dreadlocked feral adds, “like everyone feels unsettled, like they don’t know what to
do. Or want to do anything. So most of them are just keeping on doing what they normally do, but noticing that something’s not right… or
something. Is that what you mean?”

“I thought it was just my libido,” surmises the clown.

The woman’s brown eyes twist to Ram’yana beneath the puzzled furrows of her frown. Wise eyes, Ram reflects as he nods; she continues after a sip of her tea. “A few people have mentioned the same thing. So what do you think it is?’

“What do you think?” he bats the question back to her.

She looks down into the swirling chai. “It feels to me like everyone realises that the game is about up, you know? Everyone knows the climate is up shit creek and the weather’s gone crazy and water’s running out and food’s probably next. So they’re all kind of in shock, you know?”

“I’ve noticed the same thing,” Phico agrees as she silences herself with a sip, “and that could be what’s behind it… but it could be something else, as well.”

“It’s a little like the shock that everyone felt during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Remember that?” Ram’yana asks the alchemist, noting the blank looks from the younger man and woman. “You’re a Baby Boomer, aren’t you?”

“That’s right, I know what you mean – now that you’ve jogged my memory,” Phico agrees. “Everyone was in shock and just kept going to work – well, most of them – and that was one major genesis of the mass social changes that followed, I reckon…”

“…During the ‘dawning of the Age of Aquarius’ in 1962 – just after the big line-up…” Ram’yana reminds him.

“That’s right,” Phico avers, “but I think this is something different as well. Sure, everyone seems to be grokking what the hippies and
environmentalists have been telling them for yonks, but this is somehow different…. A deliberate, mass hypnotic zoning out…”

“‘Angels don’t play this harp,’” Ram says.

Phico eyes him seriously. “You may be right.”

“So you think this American array in what, Alaska, is responsible?” Wanji asks.

“The two phenomena seemed to start around the same time,” Ram replies noncommittally, still facing Phico. “You know what Burkie said about all this years ago?”

Phico enfolds the cup in his fingers, eyeing the shaman over his broth. “John Burke you mean? I thought this was after his time?”

“Or he was before his, perhaps,” Ram’yana smiles from beneath his white winged cap. “He said that it was equally possible that a great ‘error’ could occur – that the perpetrators could easily accidentally strum the right harmonic key to bring about full resonance, instead of creating global hypnosis…”

“And enlighten everyone accidentally! Of course!” Phico laughs. “What an intriguing possibility…”

The impromptu gathering of the New Illuminati ponders the moment, regarding the concept and vision that fill their momentarily multifocal consciousness with a unified withheld breath. band plays on…

We all know what’s really going on, while we sit back and watch the plastic
screens screening us from the real living world, our planet, our home; the Tree
of Life is being chopped to pieces and burned to ashes all around us by a bunch
of fat, greedy ignoramuses who think money and power is more important than
life itself.

Naturally, some wiser folk are banding together to try and stop the rotters before it’s entirely
too late. Last generation’s eco-warriors tried to save the global forests from
loggers and cattle ranchers. For the most part they failed miserably. Despite
some successes in some parts of some advanced nations, most of the world’s
great forests have now been felled and their inhabitants exterminated. You and
your children will never, ever get to see them; not even on a plastic screen. Like
most people, you will probably never get to live in a clean natural environment
as a result.

The planet’s climate and our food supplies are sorely suffering, and by the time
people realise what they’ve lost it won’t be because they’ve developed
sensitivity and uncommon sense, but because they’re gasping for air in heat

Naturally, some wiser folk are banding together to try and stop the rotters before it’s entirely too late. Last generation’s eco-warriors tried to save the global forests from loggers and cattle ranchers. For the most part they failed miserably. Despite some successes in some parts of some advanced nations, most of the world’s great forests have now been felled and their inhabitants exterminated. You and your children will never, ever get to see them; not even on a plastic screen. Like most people, you will probably never get to live in a clean natural environment as a result.

The planet’s climate and our food supplies are sorely suffering, and by the time people realise what they’ve lost it won’t be because they’ve developed sensitivity and uncommon sense, but because they’re gasping for air in heat waves, hunkering down and hiding from humungous storms, and their children are starving in front of them.

The last vestiges of our forests (and we ourselves) can still be saved, and great ecosystems can be regrown from these last bastions of seed sources and living biomes – but only while these scraps survive the ongoing depredations of stupid greedy people. You can’t bring a forest back from a storehouse of frozen seeds. They’re far too complex for that to work. Many plants won’t grow and reproduce until a number of inscrutable precursors are already in place.

Yet our original primordial homes can still regrow. The fossil record demonstrates that the planet has recovered from equivalent destruction in the past; that ecosystems have shrunk to roughly the same size as the island remnants they now occupy, and managed to regenerate into continent-spanning canopies. Yet the situation has never been worse than it is today – not since humankind’s progenitors first descended from the trees that birthed them and started cutting the world down to their own puny size.

This hermetic hermit has been intimately involved in a number of efforts to save the biosphere from warlike predator apes over many decades. I’ve sat in tree sits, tripods, kayaks, holes in the ground and, worst of all, dreary electrically charged offices to help halt the spread of so-called ‘progress’ (as others have pointed out, the advance of industrial civilisation isn’t the same thing as the progress of humanity). I’ve camped in remote forests for years to help gather scientific evidence to (successfully) save them – with the help of many others.

But even when we were successful, wiser Greenies knew that we’d just have to save everything all over again from a new batch of gormless greedy fools in another generation. Now is that new generation. The forests we saved near the close of the last Millennium are now threatened by ignoramus loggers once again, and even worse, moneygrubbing miners. Our agricultural lands and all our groundwater is about to be destroyed by people who think what’s yours is mined, and all for a small bowl of temporary pecuniary potage.

Miners and loggers are blind to their own effects. Many come to regret what they’ve done when it’s far too late to make amends. Their mayfly lifespans are too short sighted for them to notice what they do until they’re too old to damage anything, when it’s far too late to undo the destruction. Almost all
politicians are equally blind; useless ignoramuses who will only act when their power base is directly threatened. They can’t be trusted with the present, much less our future.

There are only two tried and trusted ways to save the world. One is through massive direct non-violent peaceful protest, whereby so many passive resistors are arrested (or in less advanced nations, murdered) that attrition finally wins out.

This is the best, most ethical way to proceed. When people stick to their ideals and work with the great invisible forces of nature, peaceful protest can work in time to save the places that need protection (truly sacred places tend to draw defenders to themselves in time of
need and the collective consciousness works on the side of Life). But blowing up the industrial base and work tools of the aggressors is another, less ideal yet no less effective option. Industries are even more vulnerable than the forests and ecosystems they destroy – a salient fact that in dust realists know and that peaceful protestors usually forget when facing down armed thugs and bulldozers.

Time was on Ghandi’s side. It’s usually also on the side of the environment, but not on an industrialised planet. Not any more. Here’s a little lesson from history; make of it what thou wilt:

*

*

In the late 1970s peaceful protest saved the last remnant vestiges of the ‘Big Scrub’ – the ignoramus redneck name for a vast rainforest that covered much of the eastern part of the island continent of Australia. Most of this vast, unique, hundred metre high multiple canopy climax forest, which had taken millions of years to develop, was simply cut and burned without so much as a single fauna or flora survey beforehand; there’s no way to tell what miracles of evolution were wantonly destroyed. You can’t know what you’ve lost when it’s
truly gone. And believe it or not, the last remnants are still being felled and burned without any adequate biological surveys, even in an ‘advanced’, ‘developed’ nation, right now. Today.

When they realised what was happening, hippies and other new settlers who occupied the abandoned dairy farms of the Rainbow Region – previously inhabited by the downtrodden Bundjalung Nation of aboriginal tribes and clans - stood up to the loggers and accepted lifelong criminal records in exchange for a healthy environment. Protesters occupied the forests and it all came to a head at Terania Creek, when the entire state government arrived in the forest to see what was happening for themselves.

When they actually witnessed what was happening – and what had already happened – with their own eyes (instead of believing the lies of industy ‘experts’) they stopped all rainforest logging in the state. The Terania protests are often cited as one of the greatest successes of the Green movement.

But the truth is that by the time the logging was stopped, literally only a few hundred acres of virgin, untouched rainforest remained in the entire state of New South Wales. Almost everything was gone, or sadly depleted – largely trashed not by loggers, but by ‘soldier settlers’ who were forced by governments to completely ‘clear’ the stolen land they were granted on repatriation from bloody foreign wars. Three thousand year old trees took an hour or two, or sometimes a day to fell in the olden days of handsaws and axes; with chainsaws, it only takes only a few minutes.

How long does it take to grow a three thousand year old tree? How long do you suppose it take to regenerate a three thousand year old forest? It takes a lot longer than three thousand years before successive canopies can climb that high towards to the sky. Yet it’s possible, if only a few seedstock areas are preserved – if they can be preserved through the fiery doom and desertification that follows in the wake of most logging. That’s what the Greenies’ ‘success’ represented; a final holding action to save the last great arks of biosphere diversity.
Deserts and bleached bones are the true heritage of most vanished ‘civilisations’. They’re usually destroyed by greed, ignorance and war. That’s also what happened to the famous Cedars of Lebanon, and to the great forests of Spain – destroyed to make nothing but war, they now rot on the floor of the English Channel.

But now we supposedly know better. Following the great result at Terania, a band of dreamers who’d developed and honed their protesting skills set their sights on another nearby piece of Paradise. At the turn of the decade they determined to save some of the last littoral (coastal) forest that still remained on the beach land around Middle Head, a couple of hundred miles south of the Rainbow Region – exactly halfway between the population centres of Sydney and Brisbane. The beach was slated to be mined for a heavy metal called rutile; mainly to construct titanium nuclear submarines in the United States in the profitable old Cold War.

Whenever rutile – which is concentrated in black sand beaches – was mined by dredging (shallow mining) operations, it was taken to nearby centrifuges which left huge sand hills of associated heavily radioactive sands in their wake; just left lying there, on popular beaches, for kids to play in. And to get to the most readily available rutile the last, rare, coastal rainforests must first be totally destroyed.

Of course, the miners assured everyone they’d ‘rehabilitate’ the land afterwards (That was in 1980. Despite their cosmetic efforts ‘afterward’ is still some time far in the future)…

Protesters moved into place, ready to obstruct the sand miners using exclusively peaceful methods. They established a base camp under the low coastal canopy and slowly attracted more and more people as news spread far and wide. At the time, this writer was regularly travelling up and down the coast on tours with various bands and theatrical troops. I managed to drop into the protest camp every few weeks, staying for a week or so each time before going back to work in the Big Smoke – the Emerald City of Oz, three hundred miles (500 km) to the south. This provided a jerky, time lapse view of the protest – and the slowly progressing destruction.

Most of the protestors felt far more at home on the beach than in forests; most had been raised in urban centres lined with white sand beaches and were far more accustomed to the seaside than to deep climax forests. The Middle Head protest proved very popular and was continuously replenished by fresh new sunburned faces.

*

I’ll attempt to cut to the chase for the sake of brevity; today’s attention spans aren’t what they were back then. An interesting diversion is always readily available to distract people from learning, or from saving themselves and their children.

The protesters adhered to the highest possible ethical principles. Every morning a circle assembled to discuss the plans for the day. The entire camp was run in accordance with the best, most egalitarian methods known at the time. No decision could be taken until everyone’s view had been heard. After hours of ongoing (and often frustrating) argy-bargy, everyone knew what was happening and a consensus was usually arrived at without any rancour or aggressive politicking.

Decision making was consensual, not democratic; somehow, plans manifested and were ratified without the group even taking a vote – in most cases without so much as a show of hands or verbal vote. The usual problem of charismatic leaders doing most of the talking – and real decision making – was usually miraculously avoided, as everyone present knew what was at stake and tended to agree on the basics.

The meeting circles waxed and waned over many months, while the rusting hulk of the sand mining dredge hovered just offshore and the bulldozers waited to shovel sand into its saurian maw. Usually there were only a dozen or two people present; sometimes the protest swelled until hundreds gathered together in the baking antipodean sunlight.

The government and miners wouldn’t give an inch. Neither would the protestors. Slowly, inexorably, the littoral forest was being bulldozed into the sand, foot by foot, yard by yard, and the bulldozers were approaching extremely important sacred caves of the Gumbaynggirr people (which involves another, perhaps even more interesting story for another dreamtime). One fine sunny day, when all seemed lost, the morning sharing circle was interrupted by a pair of bearded, long haired men who descended from the hinterlands of the nearby Great Dividing Range. Like everyone else, the strangers were allowed their say.

“Look,” one announced to the assembled scores of peaceable hippies. “You see that dredge?” He pointed to the rusty old dinosaur that lurked at the edge of the beach, and continued in terse sentences. “Do you know something? That’s the only one on the entire east coast. We’re Vietnam vets. I’m an explosives expert. We’ve got enough explosives in the boot of the car to completely destroy that dredge. They won’t be able to get another one here for months. Maybe years. We can stop them right now. What do you reckon?”

The circle became a hubbub of uneasy dissention; some for, most against, many undecided. At that point one of the camp’s defacto ‘leaders’ (later to become a member of parliament) climbed onto his hind legs, rearing above the seated circle. “This is a peaceful protest,” the equally bearded young man pointed out. “We only use non-violent methods here – and if you guys do anything violent we’ll have to tell the police.”

“Hey man,” the veteran said, “We’d make sure no-one was hurt – we can do it at night and make sure nobody’s anywhere near the dredge. Hard targets only.”

“Listen, buddy – you’d better take those explosives away from here right now.” The consensus view soon agreed, and that’s just what they did. But not before the objecting protest ‘leader’ followed them to their vehicle – with me trailing in their wake.

“Look,” he said to them in relative privacy, “we really appreciate what you’re trying to do but you made one big mistake.”

“Oh?” said the explosives expert. “Really?”

“Yeah. If you’d just gone ahead and done it that would be one thing – but what you’ve done this morning implicates everyone here.” He nodded towards the fragmenting circle; “Who knows how many government agents are sitting there, listening? If we agreed to what you were doing we’d all be conspirators – we could all be locked up, even the kids and grandmas.” The veteran frowned and said nothing further. He climbed into the car with his friend and drove off along the sandy track to the nearby highway, never to be seen again.

A few weeks later I stood on a sand dune, playing saxophone with a number of other protesting musicians, while the bulldozers moved in. The band played on while the great sculptor (and unsung national treasure William Ricketts) placed a priceless sandstone bas-relief representing the local Aboriginal elders and their children in the path of the machines.

They rolled right over it and soon trashed most of the forested beachfront. Many of the protesters went home while others moved off to the next forest action. They formed the core of a group that continuously stood in front of bulldozers for the next two decades in dozens of forests, honing their skills, learning how to effectively stop the death-dealing machinery of industrial ‘civilisation’ – and learning how the law really worked. But the fantastic little coastal forest at Middle Head was gone forever and the Tridents submarines – with hundreds of useless nuclear weapons apiece – rolled off the slipways; their lifespans far shorter than the trees that died to make them.

I hasten to add that on other occasions peaceable, non-violent, non-destructive protests have been totally successful – some within cooee of that very beach. We’ve saved literally tens of thousands of acres from wilful destruction by hopeless morons working for greedy
corporations and their equally greedy shareholders (including most workers in the country, as their pension funds invest heavily in so-called ‘resource companies’). In most places no-one even had to spike the trees with metal or ceramic rods and leave signs to warn the workers (to destroy the chainsaws, sawmill blades and potentially the lives of loggers stupid enough to proceed after being warned off). This is always an option; a last resort.

Yet now a new generation of industrialised idiots working for sickening corporations is at it again. We have to save it all over again, and as you can imagine the protestors who developed those skills are now much, much older – and the newer, post-baby boom generations have NOT taken up the baton of peaceful protest. Most are content to simple press plastic buttons attached to the plastic screens that stand between them and the real living world, and imagine they’re making a difference.

But not all. Some of us know what’s really at stake here. Failure just isn’t an option.

When we stopped the logging we saved barely enough forested lands to ensure the survival of all the rare, unique and unknown species dwelling in them, according to the best science of the day. We now know it wasn’t enough; not when you include the effects of climate disaster. Now the koalas, rock wallabies, Tiger quolls, gliding possums, phascogales and a horde of creaturesyou’ve almost certainly never seen nor even heard of are being slaughtered, out of sight and out of the minds of readily distracted urban citizens who are far more concerned with the latest sports scores and celebrity gossip than their (own) survival.

Now it’s time to get up and actually DO something – to make another Last Stand, to once more protect our sacred heritage from loggers and miners. The rare, remote forests are being felled again, and even worse, the miners are moving on them, too. Even some of the forests we ‘saved’ are being illegally destroyed by government-sanctioned koala killers and their post-logging burning operations. Heavy metal miners are poised to spill arsenic into the last pristine rivers on the driest continent on Earth –not somewhere ‘out back’ and beyond, but in the most
populous and agriculturally useful parts of the land. Coal gas mining will poison us all and destroy the last pure waterways and aquifers if we – if YOU – don’t DO SOMETHING NOW!

How vulnerable do you suppose the leaky head of a gas well is? How combustible is an oil-soaked, woodchip-floored timber mill? How secure is a mineshaft subjected to a stick of dynamite? If loggers, miners and governments won’t deal honourably with peaceful protestors representing the interests of the majority of the public – and the entire biosphere – there are always veterans of some ungodly war or other waiting in the wings. The choice is up to them – and you.

Peaceful protest or more direct action? Decide. Quickly. But DO something while there’s anything left to save – before your starving, cancer-riddle kid asks, ‘What did you do to save the planet, mummy?’

And either way – Earth First! No compromise in the defense of Mother earth!

Turn on. Tune in. Opt OUT of the filthy morass of industrial ‘civilisation’ and find
your true self – in a forest!

If an insect can stay busy enough amidst the distracting buzz of the hive they never have to consider their actions or comprehend the fruits of their labours. Workers and warriors don’t overly concern themselves with causes and effects or collective responsibilities as they trudge from task to task and war to war.

Everyone has free will, yet most are led to believe they have no real say in their destinies; from a very young age we’re informed that our fate has already been determined by someone bigger, wiser and far nobler than us, connected to ancient bloodlines and secret
reservoirs of knowledge that remain invisible to our short-sighted view. The child is adulterated by the adult and grows into their template, twisted or otherwise – and our species has been subjected to many kinds of interference through its long ascent to planetary tenure.

Our lives are the crossover points of many different agendas and we bear the seeds of differing species in our dreaming plasm. Down
through the millennia, individuals and tribes that stood up and rebelled against imperialist invaders were decimated or annihilated, and in many
cultures and nations only a genetic rump of subservient survivors remains. It’s easy to follow the herd through the channeled passageways and careering paths toward the distant unseen slaughterhouse; all we have to do is line up on the right side, and believe that the rest that are left go down in the burning flames of perdition – when we are all the same child crying in the night.

I was a bright lad, but still hoped against hope that the dumb flock of sheep all around me might actually be overseen by a good shepherd – one who had kept a semblance of order down through the ages with handy crook and decisive flail. It seemed that all the flock craved was a wise paternal figure to tell them what to do – someone who could set unquestionable limits and parameters to our unquenchable desire to wander and explore, and guide us toward fruitful fields of endeavour.

But then I grew up, died, and was reborn. I found that the core which was left of me was the good lord – the insightful being who knew right from wrong and truth from falsehood; the one who could see the differences between sheep and goats and recognise the scent
and spoor of rapine, vulpine predators circling the wooly-minded flock who wandered around an endless plane of time on an horizon-girt planet. They all saw or suspected the same things as I, but failed to react to dire threats or respond to the certain promise of greener pastures; they expected to be protected by virtue of my higher, more erect perspective. They trusted that I’d take them
into fertile places that hadn’t yet been despoiled by mindless hordes of other hard-hoofed sheep. Their future was in my hands – along with the future of every blade of grass and leafy sapling, whose life force the flock craved with incessant greedy hunger.

Is it better to continue to lead them into a folly of genetic cul-de-sacs, or to allow the willful creatures to cull themselves? What an utter fool the good shepherd sees when he looks in the mirror of the human species – thoroughly cursed and tormented by his very own orderly intent.

The tasks of true overseers cannot be entrusted to anyone who wants the job, or who craves order and control over others while allowing their own passions to remain rampantly unexamined. The only one who can really save your world is you. Is it worth saving? Are you?
The only certainty is change, redeemed by the likely possibility that every caterpillar can become a butterfly. Every baby metamorphoses into something whose potential was always there – a wise parent who carries the trusting babe and guides it through the wondrous world.

The one who has died and has been reborn knows the secrets of death and immortality that are suspected by all others; you have died and been reborn – that’s how you came to be here. You are an immortal who craved a fresh start on a clean page. The divine dwells in every sheep and each blade of grass and grain of sand; it can’t be killed, and neither can your essential selfhood. You’re stuck with yourself, until you examine the core of your being and recognise who you are; until you find a way to transform the unique personality that has glued itself around your immortal perspective – the sheepish child who clings to the elder wisdom, the thirsty babe whose mouth encircles the unending well of souls while it suckles with eyes wide shut.

No warrior cults whose followers leave waterless deserts in their heavy footprints can
grasp the keys to paradise or open the inner gates to immortality. The hive has its own prerogatives and its agenda has no room for individuality. Only a single individual can be truly free. Each of us must walk the royal road to inner transformation alone; when we reach our destination we’ll find the true beloved has been waiting there all along.

The universe is made of mindstuff, woven by the three blind mice of will, thought and action – the creatively jamming juices expressed by spirit, soul and body; the flavours of mercurial soul fire mixed with a dash of the salt of the Earth. The world won’t end with a whimper or a bang, or with the regal wave of a bearded prestidigitator’s hand. The stage we’ve set won’t end until we all leave and find other places to enact our wills upon, and even then it will not end; it will have simply left us behind, to continue exploring though infinite realms of dazzling possibility.
