Ghajali dari kauman .Namaun pernikahan keduannya tidak harmonis dan akhirnya keduannya bercerai.setelah bercerai Siti munjiyah tidak menikah lagi kemudian ia pun mengangkat seorang anak .Perempuan yang tak kenal lelah ini meninggal; pada tahun 1955 karena terkena sakit kanker payudara.

Lahir di kauman, Yogyakarta pada 24 januari 1941 . sejak kecil chamamah sudah dibiasakan dengan pola hidup yang disiplin ,mandiri, dan terencana sehingga sikap tersebuat sangat berpengaruh terhadap kepribadiannya hingga kini.

B.Pendidikan

·Setelah lulus SMA, dia mengambil kuliah jurusan sastra timor di Fakultas Sastra dan Kebudayaan (nama Fakultas ilmu budaya UGM waktu itu) .

·Ia melanjutkan di school of oriental and african studies, london, inggris dan (meraih gelar master dalam bidang Filologi) .

·Bidang studi ini menghantarkannya menjadi Guru besar UGM dan meraih gelar Profesor dalam bidang Kritik Sastra .

C.Peran

·Sejak usia remaja telah menjadi ketua umum Nasyiatul Aisiyah (1965) .

·3 tahun kemudian , dia masuk jajaran pimpinan pusat Aisiyah (1968) .

·Amanah yang dipegang di Aisiyah pada masa itu

1. Bendahara .

2. Sekretaris .

3. Wakil ketua .

·Ia menjadi ketua Umum (2000 – 2005), (2005 – 2010).

D.Prestasi

·Membuat masyarakat menjadi sadar kebutuhan di situasi lingkungan sekitar

·Memiliki Kepekaan yang tinggi dan daya tanggap yang unggul terhadap situasi masyarakat Ia berpandangan bahwa pemimpin masyarakat hendaknya memiliki kecerdasan, keuletan, dan kegigihan dalam mencermati dan mencukupi masyarakat.

A.Riwayat

Siti umniyah binti HJ sangidu lahir di Kauman pada tanggal 20 Agustus 1905.Kyai sangidu adalah teman perjuangan KH ahmad dahlan. Disamping itu rumah Kyai sangidu biasa dipakai sebagai pusat aktivitas gerakan pembaruan.di tempat itu pula pada tahun 1911,Kyai Ahmad dahlan menetapkan Muhammadiyah sebagai nama pergerakannya.Kyai sangidu tercatat sebagai anggota muhammadiyah no 1.siti umniyah termasuk kader didikan langsung KH ahmad Dahlan,dimana kyai Ahmah dahlan lah yang menyuruhnya memakai kerudung umniyah menggunakan kerudung kain songket khas kauman.

B.Pendidikan

·Pendidikan dasarnya ditempuh di sekolah pewiyatan (1915),sekolah pertama yang diddirikan oleh KH Ahmad dahlan.

·Ia melanjutkan ke Al-Qismul al-arqa sekolah kader mubaligh yang juga didirikan oleh KH Ahmad dahlan.

C.Peran

·Kiprahnya dimulai saat ia dan kader perempuan Kyai Dahlan yang lain seperti Washilah Hadjid,Zuchrizah ,sa`adah,djalah,dan beberapa perempuan lainnyamenggerakan praja wanita ,sebagai cikal bakal Nasyiatul aisiyah.

·Ia menjadi ketua aisiyah pada tahun 1924

D.Prestasi

·Siti umniyah dan teman-temannya mendirikan taman kanak-kanak,cikal bakal TK Aisiyah Butanul Athfal.

·Kemudian menjadi guru di Madrasah Muallimat Muhammadiyah yogyakartasampai tahun 1954.pagi harinnya ia gunaan untuk mengajar di muallimat dan sorennya ia gunakan untuk untuk mengajar di tsanawiyah Muhammadiyah.

·Mulai tahun 1940 ia membuka asrama di rumahnya. Tetapin sepat berhenti karena agresi militer II Belanda hingga ia harus mengungsi keselatan Yogyakarta,tepatnya di Banaran.kulunprogo.Ia kemudian bergabung dalam kesatuan ``Penerangan Mobil`` yang bertugas mengobarkan semangat seemangat perjuangan melawan Belanda.

E.Hikmah

·Beliau seorang yang ingin selalu belajar.

·Beliau selalu mendengarkan nasihat dari orang tua,guru dan orang lain.
