There are a lot of work from home opportunities these days. And with the wide range of jobs available, anyone can surely get a job online. While blogging and writing are the most common ones, there are others such as telephone answering services, technical support, graphics design, and translation services to name a few. The competition is stiff with a lot more people interested in working from home nowadays, but if one can just specialize in a certain job and make sure he constantly improves and innovates, then it will surely work out for the best.

Cooking and Concerts

What do cooking and concerts have in common? Why, having the right instruments of course! I can’t imagine having to cook without using the right pan, the right measuring tools, and of course, the freshest ingredients I could get my hands on. Same goes with concerts. You can’t have a concert without musical precision instruments. You can’t have a successful concert with a defective piano, or a out of tune guitar, right? But I think it doesn’t just apply to cooking, nor concerts. But applies to almost everything we have to do in life. Just like writers need a pen and a paper, or at least a computer or typewriter. Or a painter who needs his canvass and paint.

Guitar Anyone?

Have you ever played a guitar? I admit I once dreamed of being able to play it when I was in college. I had the chance, but I don’t have the talent. I have been so lucky to meet and marry a man who loves it though. I have long wanted to give him a new one as a gift but I am not sure if a Moog will fit to his liking.

Modern Household Appliances

In this day and age, technology has made our life so much easier with the invention of many household appliances that makes doing chores much faster, and with much less effort. While I still prefer to do some things manually such as washing the dishes, here are some of the wonderful household inventions that I think are awesome.
1. Fully Automatic Washing Machine. This is such a big help for me. Having used a manual washing machine before, I noticed the amount of time I am able to save by using this beauty. Just dump all the clothes in, detergent, and fabric conditioner. Come back when it’s done and all you have to do is hang them out to dry. Some models actually dry them completely so all you have to do is fold or iron. I can’t wait for the day that all you have to do is put them in your closet.
2. Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaner. With kids around the house, it saves me a lot of time having to pick each and every morsel that they drop in the kitchen floor. Or the effort I have to go through by having to wipe the juice that spilled on the counter. With this machine, I can just vacuum everything up and I’m done.
Now there are a lot of other things that I’m sure each of you love, but those 2 are my most prized household appliances. I’d appreciate one of those ladybug vapor steam cleaners if someone would give to me, but for now, I’m all good to go.

Dolls Are Forever

I don’t know about you, but I’m big on dolls. Baby dolls, Barbie dolls, stuffed dolls, even life-sized dolls! There are just so many pretty toy dolls and this blog post is titled “Dolls Are Forever” simply because I think girls can never outgrow their dolls. And you know that dolls are here forever because even in these modern times, they just keep on innovating.

The young girls now can enjoy the likes of Baby Alive, porcelain dolls, collectible reborn baby dolls, Monster High, and a lot of other toy dolls that you can think of. Dolls now are very high-tech too. They walk, talk, dance, sing and even eat and poo! It’s just so amazing how all of these toys are now available for today’s young girls and even mothers like me enjoy seeing them. And there’s so much you can stuff you can buy to create a play world for your little girl such as houses, cars, even pets! So you see, dolls aren’t boring as they used to be. They’re not just for display these days. They’re fun, and interactive. How about you? What are your daughters’ favorite toys?
