You should really ask: Why shouldn’t you? A blog, short for web log, is a major piece of the innovation dubbed Web 2.0, or the evolution from static web page surfing to a more collaborative, interactive second-generation Internet community. Blogging involves real-time, ongoing communication with readers, giving them the ability to respond and react to posts instantaneously.

If you have a business either online, offline or both, you need a blog. Major industry players like PR leader Hill and Knowlton and computer maker Dell, among others, have already built a strong and loyal blog following. Businesses use this communication medium to enhance customer relationships, strategically position their company, show their expertise, test new ideas and products and strengthen consumer interest.

But equally important to corporate bloggers are the individuals who use their blog as a diary or forum for personal expression. Bloggers add tremendous value, providing independent journalism, sharing stories which might otherwise be considered too controversial or insignificant for mainstream media, exposing scams, sharing universal experiences or providing entertainment.

Blogs give users the control to set privacy preferences, allowing full public distribution, subscriber or invite-only, or restricted access to only the poster. This helps anyone stay in touch, build a social network or private journal. Post opinions, or share poetry or artwork on your blog and open up rewarding feedback and communications opportunities.

To engage their readers, bloggers can include home or viral videos, audio clips, photos and downloadable files like a resume, brochure or white paper. The more interactive the better, with popular bloggers talking to their audience, asking questions and soliciting advice. This makes readers feel important and involved.

I very often hear the expression of adsense is dead from bloggers which frustate because their adsense isn’t at all make the something. and The question is why adsense make the residual income for some of bloggers and don’t for others ?
Here is 4 way of making your blog do not make anything that you wished.

Firefox 3 Beta 5 is now available for download. This milestone is focused on testing the core functionality provided by many new features and changes to the platform scheduled for Firefox 3. Ongoing planning for Firefox 3 can be followed at the Firefox 3 Planning Center, as well as in mozilla.dev.planning and on irc.mozilla.org in #granparadiso.

New features and changes in this milestone that require feedback include:

Improvements to the user interface based on user feedback, including changes to the look and feel on Windows Vista, Windows XP, Mac OS X and Linux.

A couple of months ago I asked readers to share which blog tools they use the most in some of the following areas. The suggestions were a nice start but I’d like to see the list expand as I’m certain there are more blog tools and services out there.

Please note that I’ve decided not to add ‘hosting packages’ to this list and am attempting to keep it to products that directly help bloggers blogs improve rather than more general organizational/business products. Good Content Vs. Pagerank Hunter

Write for human not a machine, Steve Pavlina said. I’d like to read his blog. Many new blogger too busy to get green bar google pagerank rather than write a good content that answer people needs. I am a new blogger too, and spend much time to get a higher pagerank than learn to wrote a good content. I have trapped in my rat race blog optimization. I added my meta tag and source code here and there but nothing happen to my pagerank why? There is something wrong ? I asked from an expert SEO and they told use this and that tool, but I am still laid on the bottom of search engine.

There is search engine optimization doesn’t important ? I don’t say that, but the first thing you have to do with your blog is write a credible content. That’s true. What do you think if you read a junk blog that write something that you are not interest in ? Will you visit it again in another time ? I won’t .

I’d like to read Steve Pavlina blog, Courtney Tuttle’s blog, Daily SEO Blog and many others pro blog and I found, pro bloggers have a same thing in their different topics. They write for people’s need and they have their own mindset to blog. Their blog driven by a purpose for their readers.
Why several SEO site or SEO blog and make money online, have a nice rank in google? Cause they write what people seek. Many blogger like me try to find a holy grail step to get a high pagerank and sit back on my chair waiting for my ads will click by visitors and then kaching…kaching.. my google check is coming. It’s so funny, isn’t it ?

I read courtney tutle’s blog and her post surprised me, there is not easy to get money on blog. So what I have to do ?

Blogger mindset. That’s the important thing for a blogger. You want to make a blog but you don’t know what for and who is your blog niche? Remember your mindset will seen on your post. Give a reason why are you blogging, what you want to achieve with blog.
Find a hot topic. There are many hot topic and you have choose one of them that you interest in. It’s easier to write about your interest and what you know rather than write a hot topics but you do not interest in and know little about that.
Blogger are readers. Read others blog that have a same topics. It will help you to spead your mind .
Post regulary. Read Courtney tuttle’s post 10 Easy Ways To Make Yourself Look Like A Blogging Newbie
Submit your blog to blogs directory. There are many blog directory that you can use. Build your own community. It will help you to increase your page visitor. Make your self connect with others

You have to be more user friendly with your readers. For instance in this post, you wanted to give out the code for link exchange, but you have given the code in a image file. Which means, no one will ever know the code and they cant add them to their own blog.

Your previous post about the social network plugin, your codes in notepad are not readable. Try downloading and you will get a lot of boxes. And trust me its not a decoding problem.

I'm sorry for unconvenient, I've repaired social network plugin in this post.

Link exchange atau tukar link menjadi salah satu cara ampuh untuk menaikan pagerank. Bagi para expert menambahkan link exchange pada sidebar widget mereka bukanlah suatu masalah. Tutorial ini dimaksudkan untuk para pe-blogger pemula yang mulai belajar ngeblog,dan ingin menambahkan link exchange dalam sidebar widget mereka.

Cara menambahkan widget link exchange pada sidebar :

Perhatikan blog yang dikunjugi, apakah mereka menyediakan bertukar link dalam bentuk Link banner atau html script.atau
Masuk dalam panel kontrol blog anda klik layout==>page element
klik pada page element, tampilan yang muncul seperti dibawah ini :

klik html /javascript kemudian copy kode link banner blog yang anda kunjungi dan paste pada text areakemudian klik simpan perubahan, atau anda bisa menambahkan link pada blog anda dengan mengklik add link dan masukan alamat situs blog yang anda kunjungi dan simpan perubahan.
Untuk pengaturan posisi letak dari widget, gunakan mouse untuk men-drag ( move ) page element yang sudah anda simpan.
Lihat di tampilan blog anda. Selesai

Penambahan page lement ini bukan hanya untuk link exchange saja tetapi juga widget-widget yang lain.

Menginstall Template Baru Pada Blogger

Sebelum anda mengubah template, pastikan bahwa template yang lama sudah di save sehingga apabila anda ingin mengembalikan ke setting defaultnya tinggal upload saja. Dan penting juga anda memiliki program text-editor di komputer sperti Notepad++ untuk melihat template yang bakal di upload.

Ada beberapa instruksi sederhana yang dapat anda ikuti disini.

Metode Install Blogger Template :

Metode I. Upload the xml file:

Download template yang ingin anda gunakan, simpan di komputer dan pastikan file ext nya XML.
Klik Layout > Template > Edit HTML page.
Pilih file klik Browse... button, dan kemudian klik tombol Upload, jangan lupa untuk mencentang expand template widget
Selesai. Anda bisa melihat tampilan blog anda dengan mengklik lihat blog

Metode II. Copy-paste Kode template kedalam Blooger text editor :

Buka file template yang ingin anda copy
Buka Layout > Template > Edit HTML page.
Klik Tombol Expand Widget Templates (EWT)
Select all Kode di Blog editor dan delete kemudian paste ( ctrl+v ) template baru anda

Bagaimana sih cara buat blog ? Pertanyaannya klasik, tetapi dulu saya pernah mengalami hal yang sama, cari tutorial cara buat blog tapi tutorialnya bahasa "londo katrok" semua jadi terpaksa buka kamus.
Banyak web blog yang menyediakan layanan gratis untuk ngeblog, seperti www.wordpress.com, www.multiply.com, dll. Disini akan dijelaskan cara buat blog dengan blogger.com, sangat mudah dan sederhana. Tidak perlu kuatir karena Blogger merupakan salah satu patform yang populer saat ini.

Langkah-langkah buat blog :

Langkah 1

Kunjungi website Blogger.com homepage dan klik "Create Your Blog Now". Tapi sebelumnya harus punya email, karena nanti login ke panel kontrol menggunakan email. Layanan freemail populer www.yahoo.com, www.gmail.com atau www.hotmail.com.

Langkah 2: Entry data diri

Masukan email anda, password, nama or nickname anda yang akan ditampilkan di blog dan info sekuritas. Klik box "accept the term of service".

Langkah 3: Beri nama Blog anda

Beri nama blog dengan mengentry Blog's Title dan alamat. Kebanyakan pe-blogger, judul dan alamat merupakan hal yang sama. Tunggu sebentar kemudian klik Box " Next / Lanjut".

Langkah 4 : Templates

Pilih template yang sreg dengan minat anda.

Langkah 5: Mulai membuat Posting

Sekarang sudah siap untuk membuat posting.

Langkah 6 :It's Time to Blog!

Masukan judul, konten posting dan klik "publish". Gampangkan, untuk postingan pertama anda bisa copy/paste artikel pe-blogger lain, tapi jangan keterusan, nanti kreativitasnya cuman njiplak.
