Again, don't run to the store for this one, but if you are planning on going to Target anyway, you may want to check the Purex fabric softener bottles. There are reports of them having "Try Me FREE" Hangtags around the neck of the bottles. Basically, the tag is for a $4 rebate valid through May 31, 2010.

There are new Scott coupons available on the coupons.com website. (Click "Household" from the left sidebar to make them easier to find)

Use these in combination with the available Scott Product Rebate and a good sale and you should be able to get some free or next to free products!

Great Rite Aid Rebates

Rite Aid is beginning its Gift of Savings program again beginning Nov 22nd. You will get rebates back for everything you spend from Nov 22nd until the end of December (likely). The spending requirement is before any SCR rebates, or store & manufacturers coupons are applied!!

You will need to save all your receipts from that time period and enter them into the SCR program online. Depending on how much you spend total, you will get the following rebates:

Spend $25 -$50, get $5 back
Spend $51-$100, get $10 back
Spend more than $100, get $20 back

So, if you spend exactly $25, $50 or $100, you will be saving an additional 20% off the sale/original price (price before rebates and/or coupons) of everything you buy!

Not only are the games on sale, but when you buy $25 in games, you will get a $10 Toys R Us gift card (it expires 12/31/09).

In addition, they have teamed up with Hasbro directly to offer mail-in-rebates on many of those Hasbro games (anywhere from $2-$3 dollars per game).

You can get one rebate per game.

Remember the Nabisco rebate I told you about? Well, you can now put it to good use if you like Planters Nuts. They are on sale B1G1F at Rite Aid this week for an estimated $3.29 (these were not listed in the Current Deals List, but are in the ad). There is also a $5 SCR available WYB $15 in PP. So:

Buy 10 at $16.45 total
-$5 SCR = $11.45
-$10 Nabisco rebate = $1.45 or about $0.15 each
Use the $1 off 2 coupons from your Nabisco $55 of savings Back to school booklet (if you've received it) = free +$0.55 profit!

or, if you eat a LOT of nuts, you could:

Buy 20 at $32.90 total
-$10 SCR (it can be done twice) = $22.90
-$10 Nabisco rebate (it can only be done once) = $12.90
-$5 off $25 coupon = $7.90
- $1 off 2 coupons = $5.90 or about $0.30 each

Tombstone Pizza for less than $1!

If you like Tombstone Pizza, you can get a great deal (less than $1) at Kroger (Ralphs & Food4Less) stores right now. They are on sale at $2.49 as part of the buy 10 , save $5 deal at these stores. The rebate listed below requires a purchase of 7, 12 or 17. So here are a few suggestions:

Buy 12 at $29.98 total
- $5 instant discount from Kroger = $24.88
- 6 $1.50 off two coupon in the 09/27 SS = $15.88
-$10 rebate here = $5.88 or $0.49 each!

You could also add 8 other qualifying items that you may need to the above deal to save an additional $0.08 per pizza.

If you don't have six of the $1.50 off two SS coupons, you can still make this a great deal by buying less pizzas and other qualifying items that you may need. For example:

Buy 7 at $17.43 total (and 3 other qualifying items that you may need)
- $3.50 instant discount from Kroger = $13.93 (you would get a $5 discount, but only $3.50 should count toward the pizzas, the rest would count toward your other three items)
- 3 $1.50 off two coupons from 09/27 SS = $9.43
-$5 rebate here = $4.43 or $0.63 each!

And even if you don't have any SS coupons:

Buy 12 at $29.98 total (and 8 other qualifying items you may need)
- $6 instant discount from Kroger = $23.88
-$10 rebate here = $13.88 or $1.16 each!

Did you know that Staples offers rebates (the forms print on your receipt and you can enter then online!) and rewards? They also match competitors coupons! If you wait for the right deal, you can end up spending very little on paper and ink. Which is great when you print lots of online coupons!

Well, now is one of those times. Well, you will actually need to wait until tomorrow. Starting tomorrow, the following deals will apply:

Hammermill Paper: $5.79 (limit 2)

apply Office Depot 20% off Coupon
= $4.63
receive 10% back in Staples rewards at end of quarter
= $4.18
receive (usually within 4 weeks) $3.79 Rebate

Ziploc Rebate

There is a great rebate that you can print here for SC Johnson products. You can get a $5 rebate WYB three PP. What makes this even better is that you can actually submit up to three rebates per family (you must use a separate form for each rebate).

A good suggestion would be to use this for Ziploc bags right now. Until Nov 1st, Kroger stores (Ralphs, Food 4 Less) are offering a $2 catalina cpn WYB three ziploc products. Ziploc bags are typically anywhere from about $2 - $4.00, so you would spend $6 - $12 out of pocket, get a $2 catalina and a $5 rebate. A possible money maker even without manufacturers coupons.

BUT...

You can sweeten the deal with manufacturers coupons. In the 9/13 SS2 insert there is a cpn for $1 off 2 ziploc bags as well as one for $0.40 off 1. (Find additional coupons in the 8/30 SS and 10/04 SS1 inserts that are specific to freezer bags). If you use these two coupons, you save an additional $1.40!

So, here is the breakdown:

around $8 total price for 3 ziploc bags (on average)
-
$1.40 in coupons
=
$6.60 out of pocket
-
$7 catalina and rebate
=
$.40 profit!!!

Remember, you can do this deal up to three times. Just make sure it is on separate reciepts & rebate forms.
