Just a reminder that the SuperValu stores Tax Time gift card promotion will be ending on April 15th! If you haven't got your gift card yet, you may want to pick one up during your shopping trip this week.

If you buy a $250 gift card, they will give you a $25 gift card FREE! Or, you can buy a $300 card and get a $30 FREE!. Basically this means that everything you buy on those gift cards can be considered about 10% off. I bought two $250 cards last year (so I had $600 total) and they lasted me almost the entire year. In fact, I had a goal to make them last me the entire year, so that helped me to curb my spending even a bit more...if we didn't really need it, I didn't buy it. (well, at least most of the time!)

YAY! SuperValu stores will be offering the Tax Time gift card promotion again this year.

If you buy a $250 gift card, they will give you a $25 gift card FREE! Or, you can buy a $300 card and get a $30 FREE!. Basically this means that everything you buy on those gift cards can be considered about 10% off. I bought two $250 cards last year (so I had $600 total) and they lasted me almost the entire year. In fact, I had a goal to make them last me the entire year, so that helped me to curb my spending even a bit more...if we didn't really need it, I didn't buy it. (well, at least most of the time!)

Albertsons Double Coupons!

Thanks to one of our contributors (Michelle), I found some Albertsons Doubles in my LA Times today. I hadn't even opened my paper yet and likely would have just thrown them out. I'm so glad she emailed to tell me!

Bascically, if you use one of these coupons with a manufacturer's coupon, they will match the value of the manufacturer's coupon. So, if you have a $0.50 manufacturer's coupon and use an Albertsons double, you will save $1 instead.

The fine print: Coupons over $1 don't double at all.

There are quite a few good deals with $1 off coupon attached that you could use this on this week at Albertsons. There will likely be some next week as well!
