Apple on Monday introduced the 17-inch version of its Intel-powered MacBook Pro. The new laptop computer will start shipping next week for $2,799.

The 17-inch MacBook Pro features a 2.16GHz Intel Core Duo processor. It has a 667MHz front side bus (FSB) and 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM expandable to 2GB.

Like the 15-inch MacBook Pro, the 17-inch model features a built-in iSight video camera and Apple’s vaunted MagSafe Power Adapter, which disconnects from the notebook when there is strain on the power cord. It also includes Apple’s Sudden Motion Sensor, which protects the hard drive in case the laptop is dropped.

The 17-inch MacBook Pro features a display that’s 36 percent brighter than before — 300 cd/m2 brightness, according to Apple. It uses ATI’s Mobility Radeon X1600 graphics chip with 256MB of dedicated GDDR3 graphics memory. The laptop also includes an illuminated keyboard with ambient light sensor.

Let’s take a step back and look at the AFFILIATE.

What exactly is the role of the affilate?

Affiliate marketing is one tough business. Everyone online today is looking to make or save money in any way they can.

In the good old days when internet marketing was in its infancy, most of the people who clicked on your affiliate links used to purchase without a second thought… but, now as times are getting tougher, and visitors getting more cynical, you’ll be amazed at the number who won’t!

Just one flaw in a system and you will find dozens of unscrupulous people waiting to exploit it. Same goes for affiliate commission tracker systems. People who know how to manipulate the system will replace your affiliate ID with theirs and “hijack” your commissions.

Most affiliate links are some form or the other of http://www.thesite.com/?YOURID

Where your affiliate id is passed as a parameter. A thief has to simply change the “YOURID” part to “HISID” to put your money in his pocket.

In other cases, there are visitors to your site who simply can’t stand the thought of you “making money off them” so they bypass you by simply chopping off the end of your affiliate link that contains your ID.

Instead of buying from http://www.thesite.com/?YOURID — the bypasser will simply “chop off” the affiliate ID at the end and simply buy from the plain URL http://www.thesite.com/ –without your affiliate ID attached!

Bam! you just got cheated out of your rightful commission.

Studies have shown that this phenomenon causes about 30% lost sales.

By following some of these simple tips you will be able to, if not all, at least confuse most hijackers and, in many cases, often disarm them completely.

You might notice i said most and not all. This is because if the hijacker is well versed at html and javascipt he will be able to eventually get to your affiliate link. However, most hijackers are just opportunists who will only act if they see an easy buck and its this segment that we can beat

The simplest way to hide your affiliate links is using a javascript redirect page.

This is where you hide your affiliate link in a page on your site using a simple javascript that redirects people to your affiliate link.

This way your “naked” affiliate link is not exposed in your actual email messages and ezine ads, but, once people get redirected to the true affiliate link.

One possible drawback of this method is that some affiliate programs, like clickbank for example, expose the affiliate link along with your ID in the browser address bar.

So if the viewer is eagle-eyed he will notice that hes been redirected through and affiliate link.

A safer method to hide your affiliate links is using a zero-frame or “invisible” frame that masks the affiliate link by making it appear you are sending people to a page on your website. In reality, you are actually sending them to your affiliate link.

This technique is also used by many domain redirection service sites.

Unfortunately is the user views the source of the page. He know whats that youve loaded an affiliate link.

The solution is to use javascript encryption to scramble up the page code.

Even though there isn’t a 100% perfect solution to this problem, if you want to get paid more often through your affiliate links, make sure it’s not obvious you’re referring people to an affiliate link.

If they can’t see that its a affiliate link, lower the possibility of you getting stiffed of your commission.

The first thing I must say is it’s a mine field out there, and you must take time to look at what it is you are going to do in your business.

If an affiliate program is your choice then make sure that it pays down 2 levels and is well established, and pays you a good commission for your work!

There are a number of things to take into account at this point, what amount of time do you have to dedicate to your new online business! Why do I ask this question, because it’s all too easy to jump at several opportunities when you only have the time to do justice to one.

“Privacy advocates are raising concerns about Google Inc.’s plans to cover San Francisco with free wireless Internet access, calling the company’s proposal to track users’ locations a potential gold mine of information for law enforcement and private litigators. The Mountain View search engine intends to use the geographic data to match users with advertising so that they would see marketing messages from neighborhood businesses such as pizza parlors, cafes and book stores,” reports The San Francisco Chronicle.

Google plans to use technology that would allow it to track users’ whereabouts within a few hundred feet. The company said in its bid that it would retain the data for up to 180 days before deleting it, as part of an effort to “maintain the Google Wi-Fi network and deliver the best possible service.”

Privacy advocates fear the information could by used by government officials to place users under surveillance and are more generally concerned that this new power raises the specter of “Big Brother” run amok.

An advanced text search algorithm developed by an Israeli student at the Univeristy of New South Wales in Australia has been bought by internet search engine Google.

Speculation had indicated that rival search engine operators Yahoo! and Microsoft had also tried to acquire the algorithm, which was developed by Ori Alon, a doctoral student in computer science.

The new search tool, called Orion, will hopefully expand the function of search engines to make searches less time consuming and more specific.

Creator Ori Alon explained how the search engine would work to Israeli newspaper Haaretz: ‘If you search information on the War of Independence, you’ll receive a list of related words, like Etzel, Palmach, Ben-Gurion. The text will only appear on the results page if enough words relevant to the search and the link between them is reasonable. Orion also rates the texts by quality of the site in which they appear.’

The patent for the algorithm was registered six months ago and the univeristy will retain the ownership rights to Orion, which looks set to bring it several million dollars following the deal with Google.

If you’re just getting started in Internet Marketing, you may be awed by the amount of “Internet Gurus” out there, each one making millions of dollars (or so they claim) and for some reason seem more than willing, for a fee, to teach you their biggest, most intimate secrets.

Well, I believe in one thing - “If it sounds too good to be true, it most probably is!”

While I have no doubt about the specialized skills and techniques used by these gurus, it can get a little too frustrating simply getting tangled and lost in all their hype, and find almost no value at the end of the day. Hype - that’s one thing I agree these guru’s are really good at. For some of them, unfortunately, hype is the only thing they’re good at.

So the question, for those who are trying to master Internet Marketing, might be:

1) Can I learn anything from these gurus without paying money?
2) Who’s real and who’s not?
3) Whose Internet marketing methods should I follow?

Question 1: Can I Learn Something for Free?

Most Internet guru’s have opt-in newsletters on specialized subjects like website marketing, Pay-Per-Click advertising, search engine optimization or whatever specialized skill they have “mastered”. Almost all of them try to convince you to subscribe to their newsletter in return for some kind of “breakthrough” report, and promise to deliver “valuable information” weekly or monthly to your email address. Sounds great…

Here’s what happens 2 weeks later - You realize that the “breakthrough report” is the same old regurgitated information which you can find almost anywhere. You might also realize that the “valuable information” almost never comes without any hidden agenda. The “valuable information” usually turns out to be a soft-selling ad (sometimes even blatant advertisements) for the guru’s latest products or paid seminars, or even worse, some other Internet marketer’s products.

I’m not trying to shoot down any marketer here, but the irony is in their teaching. Almost all internet gurus would advice you to offer valuable, free information that benefits other people. Profits, as they say, is secondary to actually helping people and making a difference in their lives. Give before you take….what a load of BS!

How come they don’t practice what they preach? Of is that how the “Internet Marketing Game” is really played? Surely, nobody minds receiving ads and promotions, as long as there is a fair deal of free information being offered.

Fortunately, not all Internet marketers are the same. There are still some jewels to be found, and they offer some great information in their newsletters, which they unselfishly offer for free, such as:

1) Vishal Rao (http://www.home-based-business-opportunities.com) talks about starting and managing home based businesses.
2) Mike Cheney (http://www.magnet4web.com) talks about building an effective and efficient business web site.
3) Jill Whalen (http://www.highrankings.com) talks about Search Engine Optimization.
4) Allan Gardyne (http://www.associateprograms.com) is the authority on affiliate programs and affiliate marketing, with an award-winning newsletter.

Of course there are many more good marketers out there, and you’ll have to get through several bad ones first before you get to the good ones. It is not necessary to subscribe to every Internet Marketing newsletter just to hope for nuggets of gold that may never come. Instead, give the gurus a “trial” month, and if you don’t find anything of value from them, just unsubscribe from their mailing lists.

It will only be a loss to them, not you.

Question 2 : Who’s Real and Who’s Not?

To answer this question, you really have to “get around” the Internet a lot. Take part in Internet Marketing forums where you will definitely find topics on info-products, seminars and software offered by these gurus, and see what others are saying about them.

Forget about all those blaring testimonials that the gurus compile on their site. After visiting several guru websites, you may start to find the same faces and names, helping each other out by giving testimonials which are seldom backed by proof. Forums are where the real testimonials are.

If you find yourself browsing the Internet a lot, trying to find good value for money, then you’ll need the Alexa toolbar. What this toolbar does is that it gives you an idea of the popularity of the website you’re visiting. Secondly, it allows you to see who the closest competitors are, giving you more alternatives to choose from. Besides that, it also displays reviews and ratings given by others who have visited the website or used any product being sold via the website. This is where you’ll find the “not so beautifully polished” opinions and testimonials.

Question 3 : Whose methods should I follow?

Honestly, nobody’s. At least not word-for-word of what is thought in their newsletters or ebooks. The important thing to realize is that you need to develop your own technique to be really successful. The guru’s don’t teach you everything, anyway. They almost always feed you the crop but keep the cream for themselves. In other words, no one really tells you the “hot money-making secrets”. They only teach you their not-so-secret money making facts.

There are many places you can get reviews on internet marketing ebooks, but be warned that most will be biased in one way or another. Here’s a good downloadable PDF resource on ebook reviews, distributed with the permission of the author:

Understanding that the Internet is another vehicle for direct response marketing can potentially make you rich!

It’s true. Not many people actually ‘get it’.

Information marketing has much in common with the ‘old school’ mail order business. In fact, many of the practices you see online today such as two page direct sales mini-sites, mailing lists and unique products, come directly from the mail order model.

Every Internet Marketer would benefit from studying the mail order industry. The basic marketing principles and practices employed by the industry translate naturally to the online environment.

The five core priorities of successful mail order companies parallel those of the online marketer. They are: demographics, targeting, testing and tracking, up-selling and customer follow up. If you aren’t focused on these key areas yet, read on to discover why should be, and what it will mean for your bottom line.

Direct Response Lesson #1: Demographics

Demographic information provides an in depth profile of your potential customer. There are two ways to acquire demographic information, and two separate motives for each method.

You can:

? Acquire data from consumer data mining companies such as MarketShare Online ? Acquire data from your existing customer base

The preferred source depends on your product development process and your current resources. Professionally gathered data allows you to survey the market and create highly targeted products. Rather than searching through keyword lists for potential niches, you can use demographic data to target specific classes of consumers based on their spending habits and disposable income. Your marketing strategy becomes much clearer with this data in hand. It allows you advance insight into your customer’s interests, pricing points and mindset. Now, you have a baseline against which to test the effectiveness of your sales message.

You should also acquire as much demographic data as possible from your existing customer base and mailing list. Even when you possess the resources to pay for this information you should still query your own customers.

Why?

Quite simply, you need to compare the profile of your existing customer base against your expected customer base. For example, if you sell a high-priced information product targeted towards small business owners, yet find that 50% of your list is composed of non-qualified tire-kickers, something is off with either your sales copy, your targeting or both.

Direct Response Lesson #2: Targeting

Here is a rule of thumb for you to memorize: interest and need alone are not enough to generate a sale. This is a controversial statement, I know. Ask yourself the following question, though: how often have you found yourself interested in a product yet not purchased it? How often have you needed a product, yet not been able to afford it?

The truth is that, in either case, despite your interest and your need, you were only marginally targeted when the offer was presented to you.

This subtle case points to the synergy between demographics and targeting. This is why mail order companies go to such great effort to acquire detailed information on the marketplace. Whether you send 100, 000 pieces of mail or pay for 100,000 visitors to your web site, the goal is the same: put the offer in front of the right people, at the right time. If you put the right offer in front of the right person at the wrong time, it’s the same as no offer at all. It is untargeted.

Direct Response Lesson #3: Testing and Tracking

You absolutely must test and track everything you do. You must track your pay-per-click campaigns, your newsletter mailings and the paths taken by visitors to your web site. You must test your ad copy and your product pricing.

The testing and tracking phase of a marketing campaign marks the proving ground between demographics and targeting. Once you’ve acquired the data on your potential customer’s behavior, you must track their actual behavior to find out if it matches the expected results.

Until you do this, you are really only guessing at what works. Every mail order company places a tracking code on their post cards. This allows them to zero in on the exact location, age, income, race and marital status of responsive customers. When you first launch a product online, however, you are essentially blind to this information until you start tracking. As you gather your data, however, you will discover which search engines and which newsletters pull the best. Over time, you will be able to match this up with deeper demographic data collected from your list and discover, at the very least, the age and income of your customers and which search engines they prefer.

Can you imagine knowing that men between the ages of 24-34, for example, prefer Google, or that stay at home mothers prefer Yahoo? This type of data is priceless because it directs your targeting up front. This is the exact goldmine which awaits you when you devote careful attention to testing and tracking your campaigns.

Direct Response Lesson #4: Create Robust Order Forms for the Up-Sell

Your order form can pull more profit through impulse purchases than you realize. Many internet marketers seem to believe that one product should lead to one simple order form. This is probably due to so many of us being self-taught. We copy what we’ve seen.

Have you ever stopped to examine a mail-in coupon or catalog form? Even when the offer ultimately focuses on one major product, the form still includes an up-sell and sometimes even a counter-offer.

For example:

“Yes! I’d like to order the Incredible Bikini Wax System for $49.95 today! Also, please include my 14 ounce bottle of Instant Soothing Moisturizer, a perfect complement to the Incredible Bikini Wax System and a steal at only $9.99″ (Up-Sell)

“Yes, I’d like to subscribe to Golfing Today! Instead of the incredible offer of 12 issues for $14.99, I’d like to receive a full 52 issues a year for $29.95″ ( counter-offer)

The reason for doing this, of course, is that the customer is already interested and already in a buying mindset. You’ve done all the hard work to lead him to your site and you’ve enticed him with your sales letter. He’s on the order form with credit card in hand. Why not use this moment to make a complementary offer? You can up-sell a related product of your own or that of one of your joint venture partners for a profit split.

There’s really no harm in making the offer. The customer will either take you up on it or he won’t. The important point here is that a robust order form, with additional offers, helps you squeeze out extra profit and cuts down the work of luring that customer back in the future to make additional purchases.

Direct Response Lesson #5: Post Sale Follow Up

What happens to your customer after the sale? Take a page from the book of mail order secrets and follow up with that customer! If you’ve ever purchased anything through a catalog, you know what happens. You end up on their mailing list and continue to receive catalogs and other offers in the mail.

In fact, you may receive so much mail from that one company that you become irritated! While I don’t recommend going overboard with your mailings, I do recommend moving your customers to an announcement list or newsletter.

You don’t want a one time shot with that individual. Rather, you want to build a lasting relationship. Your follow up process should be designed with several goals in mind:

? Keeping your name and brand in front of the customer ? To build trust and credibility by sharing supporting material that adds value to the product ? To maintain contact so that you can make additional offers in the future

Customer follow up is so important it can’t be stressed enough. There is a rule which states that 80% of your sales will come from 20% of your customers. In other words, if someone purchases from you once, they are likely to purchase from you again provided you take appropriate action and keep them connected to you.

Remember that your customers are human and may go through a variety of emotions after making a purchase.

They may experience buyer’s remorse. They may feel nervous about sharing their credit card information with you and then never hearing from you again. They may absolutely love you and your product and want to reach out for more information. You must tend to each of these variables in order to gain the customer’s trust and appreciation, so follow up!

Making money on the Internet is possible. It’s often not easy and not simple, but it’s possible. There are many internet marketers out there that are making a ton of money following various approaches. Indeed, there is not such thing as “the way” to make money on the Internet. It depends on what you’re offering and how you promote it. However, there are certain standard rules that apply. First of all, people who surf the Internet are real people like you and me. If you’re trying to promote a silly product or idea that nobody would even think of buying offline, what makes you think they’re going to want to buy it online? Furthermore, since the Internet started as a free network (ok, it started as a military network but then evolved to a more academic network) many people expect to find things for free and are reluctant to pay for many services. So whatever it is you will be offering, make sure to do some market research first to see if there are any free alternatives for it, that will probably take away most of your customers. Keep the above in mind, when thinking of a product you wish to create (e.g. an e-book about a subject you know well) or when choosing an affiliate program to promote. In fact, most marketing courses out there currently teach pretty much the same thing. Find a good affiliate program (or more than one) or create an e-book about a subject you know well. If you create your own product, you can use affiliate networks such as Clickbank to promote it for you and earn a whole lot more than if you were just one of these affiliates promoting someone else’s product, assuming that the products will have more or less the same demand. The biggest issue about Internet Marketing, however, is promoting your product. Promotion means traffic. You need to let people know that your product exists and offer a way for them to buy it from you. The greatest product or affiliate program in the world means nothing if people don’t know about it. However, a so-so product will still generate sales and profits if you put it in front of enough people. And by people, I mean people even remotely interested in that product category. Would a young healthy person be interested in buying pills online? Probably not. That doesn’t stop spammers from sending these e-mails though. Is it worth the trouble? Again, probably not. There is a whole better (and legal) way to attract customers to your site. Notice that we are now talking about customers and not people in general. And the way to acquire customers to your site is not just random traffic but targeted traffic. People who have expressed an interest to the product or to an area where your product applies. So how does someone express interest in something, and how do you know about it? Opt-in lists? Been there, done that and it’s not too effective. Not to mention the cost and that there will always be people not remembering opting in and accusing you of spamming them. The best way by far, to attract targeted traffic to your site is through search engines. And if you’re thinking “yeah, right, how do I get on the Top 10 results with millions of competing pages” then you’re WRONG! It’s not as bad and as tough as you might think it is. There are still many areas where you can handle the competitions. There are also profitable keyword phrases that are not targeted by many sites. And by that, I don’t mean that you get a small number of Google results. The search phrase “buy low cost affordable XYZ service” may still return a million results, but if you carefully examine the first result, you may see that the page is optimized just for the word “XYZ service” and that with little effort, you can beat them for the above key-phrase (but not for “XYZ service”). If you’re thinking that no-one enters such long key-phrases you are again wrong! In fact, the more keywords a search query contains, especially if “buy” is one of them, the more likely it is that you have a determined customer. And you can really make an income with 10 or 20,000 highly targeted leads per month on your website.

Also bear in mind, that people searching for “XYZ service” are not necessarily determined to buy that service, they may just be doing research, contrary to the ones using “buy low cost XYZ service” that will have a much higher conversion rate to actual sales! So, there you have it, the general principles of earning money online. Forget the get-paid-to-surf or stuff-envelopes or whatever scams there are out there! In subsequent articles, I will mention more about how to optimize your site for specific keywords, and how to locate good keywords (no point being ranked number one for the “invisible enterpreneurs” key-phrase which is searched once per month or so…). In the mean time, you should definitely familiarize yourself with terms such as SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and tools such as WordTracker, SEOElite and Good Keywords.

If it starts to seem like actual work, then that’s because it is. Do you really believe that a company that claims you don’t have to know about computers, you don’t have to know about the product, you don’t have to talk to customers, actually needs you so that they have someone to send a check to? To make money you either have to put in your knowledge and expertise, your time or your money. Usually all three, but certainly not zero! If a company claims otherwise, then it’s probably a scam and most likely it has a start-up or subscription fee (which means that in the end, you’re still giving something, your hard-earned cash). There are no free lunches in life and the Internet is not an exception.

This was an easy and extremely informative read. I especially got the most out of Chapter 6, “How to never get sick again”. Kevin lists 111 things you can implement ..in your life to take charge of your health. Some of them I already do… and that was a nice validation for me-I know that I am on the right path for my family’s health. His weightloss information in Chapter 8 is fabulous. I have lost pounds already. This IS a quick fix for health if Kevin’s suggestions are actually applied. But you should know that it does take time for a body to heal itself completely and sometimes you do feel worse before you feel better.

This book answered so many questions on things I had noticed but could not put a name to. Like why people in America are getting so fat - even the children…and how they justify this being ok. It IS deciving how the food and drug industries are manipulating our society. It IS a huge infiltration into our lives to the point that people think it is ok. Will we wake up as a nation and take back our rights to eat healthy before they are completely gone??? How would we do that without caring people like Kevin who are willing to put themselves on the line to give us the information?

I can not walk into a grocery store without seeing how little of the products offered are edible, or have any nutrional value, or are safely consumable to my family at all! Thanks to the book for opening my eyes more to what is going on in our country.

Refinancing a fixed rate mortgage is usually only suggested when interest rates start to drop. However if your looking to save money in other ways you can also save by changing your loan terms. Another simple solution would be pulling out part of your equity to pay off those high interest credit card bills.

Lower Interest Rates

A good thing to remember is when interest rates are at least 1% lower than your current mortgage rate, it pays to refinance to pay your higher interest bills. However, you need to consider other factors, loan cost, loan terms, length of your mortgage, and how long you plan to stay in your house.

What about an adjustable rate mortgage? Most people only consider this if they are planning on moving on short notice. How this works is mostly variable rate. If rates are low you will see a lower monthly rate. But you do risk a chance that the interest rates could go up and you end up paying more than before. This usually happens over a period of time. You can also reduce your monthly payments by refinancing for a longer term. But you will suffer a higher overall interest and spend for in the long run.

Find and Your Equity and Use it!

Whether you want to pay off high interest credit cards or pay off other bills that have been weighing over you. It’s up to you. One of the advantages of using your equity is that your interest is tax deductible. Yes! This could be big savings as well.

However, if you just want to use your home equity, a better option is a home equity loan. The nice advantage to this is that you can still write off you interest and avoid additional fees.

Following Google’s decision to “omit Web content that the government of the People’s Republic of China finds objectionable’, several Websites have removed Google Adsense, the contextual advertising program by Google in protest.Blogger News Network, one of the websites that acted almost immediately after Google’s announcement has posted the following in their blog:

In response to the decision of Google to gain access to the Chinese market by censoring its search content, Blogger News Network has reached the difficult decision to discontinue running Google’s ads on our service. As a news organization with aspirations to earning public trust, BNN must act ethically in its financial dealings. Accepting money from a company which is putting profit above its ethical obligations to stakeholders would represent a lapse in that ethical stance.

The decision has upset many, and Google has the following explanation in their official blog.

AdSense silently adds a 90-day time limit on AdSense referrals. A thread over at DigitalPoint points out that Google AdSense has quietly added a new term to all AdSense referrals generated by a publisher. They have now instituted the 90-day time limit on the referral, meaning a referred publisher must earn the $100 within the first 90 days, before the referring publisher is eligible to earn that $100 for a completed AdSense referral.

Hey, wait a minute. You can’t have popups on the page. Ok, no problem. Moreover, you can’t tell anyone you have an ad from Google on the page. You can’t write about it, point to it or tell someone to click on it Also, remember that you are not allowed to make a traffic pulling page, with no other way to leave it beside the ad. You must have more links on the page (now what, will anyone notice it?). So how can you help up your click conversion rates? 1.Placement. Do not hide your ad. Put the ad to the left or somewhere near the top to ensure that anyone will see it without any scrolling.

2.Colors. There are several schools, each one pulling their way. One way is to contrast the ad as much as possible (but still possible to read it). The second one is to blend in the ad with your site as much as possible. Click conversion rates People say that a click through of 5-10% is very good, while others are happy with 3-5%. I have pages reaching 30% click through and they have several product and affiliate links, plus sales copy for products. How to get that high click throughs? My secret weapon is trying to make my WebPages as likable as possible for Google. I have found that better ranking on your search term (for a page) in Google, increases the click through.

Not because you get some secret bonus or extra points (according to those who know, are there no connection between the Google search engine and adsense). However, I believe that if the Google search engine ranks you high, then you have created a webpage that Google understands very well. Therefore, when the adsense ad is placed and Google scan your page to determine the content of the ads to show, it also will find the page clear and understandable, and as a result choose very targeted ads. All of this boils down to using the page tags, content, headers and similar to focus on a very narrow search term. People coming in after finding the web page in the search engine (and having read the title and description), actually find exactly what they where looking for.

In addition, the ads showing are exactly in the area they where looking and will pull a higher click rate, then ads showing for someone looking after arriving from a false or misleading link.

What happens when you are the richest man on the planet? A computer might be reserved just for you at the tax office of your country to handle your tax calculation, because you might be too wealthy to be handled by the regular computers. Bill Gates, currently the world’s richest man suffers this privilege.

“My tax return in the United States has to be kept on a special computer because their normal computers can’t deal with the numbers,” he said at a Microsoft conference held in Lisbon. “So I am constantly getting these notices telling me I haven’t paid something when really it is just on the wrong computer,”

he added in comments broadcast on television.

Google News has officially been taken out of Beta. The announcement was made via their official blog:

We’re taking Google News out of beta! When we launched the English-language edition in September 2002, we entered untested waters with a grand experiment in news browsing - using computers to organize the world’s news in real time and providing a bird’s eye view of what’s being reported on virtually any topic. By presenting news “clusters” (related articles in a group), we thought it would encourage readers to get a broader perspective by digging deeper into the news — reading ten articles instead of one, perhaps — and then gain a better understanding of the issues, which could ultimately benefit society. A bit more than three years later, we offer 22 regional editions in 10 languages, and have a better sense of how people use Google News.

As my sites get more and more search engine traffic, I am faced with trying to figure out how to best monetize my traffic. I am currently using mainly Google Adsense ads, but since I have added more affiliate programs to pages that are getting traffic I am noticing a very nice increase in my monthly income.

I have read in many places that affiliate ads that are prominently displayed will take away from your adsense income. I must agree that on sites where my affiliate programs are simply generally related to my site as a whole, my affiliate income is almost non-existent. However lately I have been studying my traffic logs closely and looking at the search phrases people have been using to find my pages.

Once I have determined the key phrase, I then narrow it down to the page they found when they typed in that phrase. Once this is established I search high and low for an affiliate product that matches “that page” and “that key phrase”. Once this golden affiliate program has been found, I add it prominently to the page.

On the two sites I have used this method, not only have my adsense income remained almost unchanged but last month but my affiliate income doubled as well.

My advice is, do what works for “your site”, all sites are unique and react differently, but you may want to give this combination a try it has really worked wonders for me.

In the mid 1990’s websites used to earn income by receiving money from advertisers by publishing or allowing companies to deploy a banner ad campaign on your website. Usually these banners would be brilliantly designed to catch the eye of the consumer along with a short message. The website in turn would receive a tiny profit from a click-through, which was when a customer actually clicked on the banner and went into the website and purchased the product. This was considered traffic-driven income. It was the industry standard until Google came along.

Google has since revolutionized the click-through market by using an innovative approach to advertising, Google AdSense. The beauty behind getting involved with Google now more than any other search engine is due to Google’s straightforward approach to a banner/content-free home page. You would sign up your website for affiliation with Google and upon approval your site would be given special code to place the targeted ads on your website. Basically saving Google the space and inconvenience of having to deal with banner ads.

You still may be wondering what Google AdSense actually does. AdSense is a program in which you get paid for targeting your readers to another websites product or service.

A click through is measured when someone actually clicks on the hyperlink. Many web sites now have Google AdSense ads employed. Google AdSense uses Google Adwords content and services in a display box that you place strategically on your website. Google Adword customers pay Google a determined amount of money which will be paid to the website from Google. Since the popularity of Google has risen to such prominence, AdSense affiliates can make a nice amount of money should they be able to deploy the Google AdSense box properly on their website.

Other sites like Earthlink and Ask.com also employ the same technologies through click through methodologies. The more people that visit popular sites and see your name or hyperlink associated with a product the better chance your site will be seen. Remember, you will be paid a small amount per click for some websites and much more for others. What determines the amount is how much the Adwords advertiser places on each click.

Advertisers can pay as little as .50 per click in upwards of $5 (even more). Often campaigns are budgeted for a period of time. The amount budgeted will be rationed over a period of days, the less days involved or the higher price per click the higher the ranking. The more traffic you receive will increase the possibility of a sale and a click through fee in your account.

In short, Google’s idea to market itself from the inside out has changed the way websites are doing business. Starting as an AdSense affiliate is a practical approach to making money using one of the hottest tools on the Internet today.

This will even provide you with thousands free articles with High Paying Keyword content and lot’s of other things such as Adwords, a personal login with the option to search a database of Top Bids search Terms, Adsense Tracker that lets you see how your Ads perform before Google updates your account and much much more. Defenately worth the money,and believe me I wasted loads of cash trying to get the best Information.

Again you do not have to get that software ,it has just become very useful with my daily work.I’m going to show you a screen shot from my EPC Gold Account were I have access to the Top Bids,Searches done,Clicks,Avg CPC..

You can search for the Top Bids in the search engines and probably find loads of free information as well. Time is Gold for me so I love this account of mine.

So conference call pricing would pay you about 80 $ per click. All you have to do now is write a article about conference call pricing, and place Adsense on your website .
What I can tell you out of my personal experience:

1. Place good content articles on your website
2. Make the Ad’s background and border color the same as your webpage.
3. Ads at the top of the page and on the left of the page perfom better than any other ads. Take a look at the “heatmap” from the Google .
