It has been a time since the battlefield Hardline was rolled out by Visceral Games in collaboration with EA games. It was first time that the hackers were unable to create a proper crack of a game for a long since it's release as compared with other games. It was said that the EA games infected the Game with the ghastly DRM. That is really hard to crack but all went in vein now.

Personal statement for Computer Science Study

PERSONAL STATEMENT

I realized my passion for computers at an early age. Since after that, I have decided to adopt this discipline as my academic career and later on as a professional career. After qualifying the higher secondary school certificate I decided to join the professional bachelor course in the field of information technology. I got the admission in 2010 and I graduated out in 2014. I studied science subjects in Secondary and Higher Secondary School.

Meanwhile in the journey of my graduate studies I have studied many disciplines in the computer science including few of main of those: introduction to information technology, information systems, digital logic and design, object oriented software engineering, web design, web engineering, advanced web development, database systems, data structures and algorithms, and ERPs.

Later in the semester, a class project on Object oriented programming subject drew me to the interest in programming languages. I created a GUI based text editor using java programming language that earned me a good grade among the other class fellows.

My extra ordinary skills in the field of Object Oriented programming forced me to choose the field of software development. I polished my skills in computer programming and web development by practicing harder day and night. I was taught java for computer programming right from the beginning of the graduate course NNN So I decided to choose java as my core programming language in software development. With java, few of the main subjects that I practiced harder were OOAD (Object oriented analysis and design), database management system and MSSQL. Among the other class fellows I was only the one who had the best concepts in the field of Object oriented programming. With all these, I have handy skill set in UML (Unified modeling language), data structure and algorithms, and database systems.
I did my final year project for the BSIT in java web technologies (jsp, servlets) on MVC (Model View Controller) Design pattern. I created three tier web application called Enterprise resource tracking system that was an amalgam of major concepts in the Object oriented programming. The application has four main models called, Admin panel, Purchase module, inventory module and a transfer module. The basic purpose of application was to track the inbound and outbound logistics of all assets in an organization. It also included the feature of automatic email triggers when the inventory goes low or whenever an admin creates the user who has the access of this software.

At the later stage in my bachelors study, I had decided to do some professional work that could earn my skills that I have learned during the studies so I chose to adopt the free lancing career as a starter and joined one of the famous free lancing site called NNN.com. I signed up there as an expert in the category of computer programming and got a great experience of work there. Until now, I have got 140 client ratings with 4.89 out of 5 star feedback (5 stars). I did many projects related to programming, object oriented analysis and design, databases, ms-

sql, technical writings, business process modeling projects, web development projects and also the case study projects that involved OOAD analysis and database design principles to make the UML drawing solutions and the relational database solutions. Many of the projects that I done were student projects that included different software projects for capstone and other assignment projects. These are the web development technologies that I have learned : HTML,Javascript, CSS, Jquery, Ajax and PHP.

I like to solve the new problem by applying my comprehensive skills in the problem domain. I like to do research on internet to find the right material that ultimately could solve my problem.I also took research methodologies course in my graduation that polished my researching skills and trained me how to make an accurate search on different search engines and find out right material that is of value.
I like to share my geek ideas on the cyber space through micro blogging. I also used to run a Google blog. I enjoy reading about scientific and technological developments on the Internet and in newspapers and magazines – I find the How-to-Geek blog particularly interesting and I have learnt a lot through my subscription to it.

Now I decided to continue my studies and for that I wish to study in some international university and after analyzing and searching out on internet I found NNNUniversity a good academic institute which can provide me with the facilities and tools through which I will be able to proceed further in the chosen field.

At university, I hope to deepen and expand my knowledge of computing into areas which I have no formal experience of studying. For example, I am keen to learn about artificial intelligence, cloud computing and agile software development methodologies. A computer science degree will provide me with a broad range of exciting career opportunities and I am particularly interested in using the skills that I will gain at university in either research or industry.

I wish to get the specialization in the field of software engineering so that I will be able to develop good software in the terms of customer satisfaction. I wish to improve my problem solving skills by carefully crafting the solutions for the given domain.
I am eager to learn more subjects in the master degree from NNNUniversity, such as graphic designing, game development, computer vision and ubiquitous computing. I am curious in learning things and I believe that I will be able to recognize my more talent in an environment where international students from different areas of the Globe are studying.

My hobbies include reading books, surfing internet, listening music and most of all playing the games like cricket, snooker and badminton. Cricket is one of my favorite sports. It will be a great experience of playing cricket in university if the university offers this game. I had a good experience in playing cricket in my university.

An interesting app that i have found while searching through the go market, allow humans to control android phone from where ever they want! Really this is an amazing stuff by the folks and symbolizes the picture of ubiquitous computing a bit.
Just download the application from the android market, its absolutely free. Follow the instructions of usage and you are good to go.
From here, you can control almost anything you'd be able to control while holding your phone. You can adjust/delete your notifications and ringtones, read and send SMS messages, backup and uninstall apps, and monitor your system's storage information.

Facebook Profile picture viewer

Recently, while going through the Facebook Developers API documentation I have found out few flaws in the facebook privacy. The flaws exist in the privacy of profile pictures.
It is very easy to view the likes on the private facebook profile pictures and also you can view that profile picture in full dimensions by doing these tricks. Seriously it could lead to a misuse of many private profile pictures. Facebook need to consider this issue as early as possible.
All that game of URL is. You just need to tweak the Fields and values in the Facebook URL and you can end up with unexpected and weird results and two of which I found while doing those insane tricks.
I have written this post to inform the facebook users about this privacy breach before their pictures get into the criminal hands and even more serious could happen using that.
By doing two of the following things you can do some insane, unexpected tasks!

Viewing the Private Facebook Profile picture in full dimensions:

Go to the desired facebook profile.

Right click on the profile picture and click on "Copy image URL" or "Copy Image Location".

Paste the URL up on the URL bar.

The URL will look like this.

https://fbcdn-profile-a.akamaihd.net/hprofile-ak-ash4/c120.0.720.720/s160x160/111111_123456789876543_1111111111_n.jpg

Remove the following portion from the URL.

/c120.0.720.720/s160x160.

The final URL will look like this.

https://fbcdn-profile-a.akamaihd.net/hprofile-ak-ash4/111111_123456789876543_1111111111_n.jpg

Now open this URL, you will get the results.

Viewing the likes on the private facebook profile pictures:

Take the url:

https://fbcdn-profile-a.akamaihd.net/hprofile-ak-ash4/111111_123456789876543_1111111111_n.jpg

Copy the following portion between two underscores

123456789876543

Paste the above code at the end of the following URL.

www.facebook.com/browse/likes?site=asd&id=

The final url will look like this:

www.facebook.com/browse/likes?site=asd&id=123456789876543

Paste this URL in the browser URL bar and you will see the likes on that private profile picture.

Note:
You need to log in the Facebook to get the final results.

Static block

Static blocks in Java are initialize before any objects.They can access only static data types that are declared global or are instance variables. But can declare local variables of non-static within their scope.

Example

public class StaticDemonstration {

static int a;
static{
  System.out.println("Hello Static");
  a=10;
int b = 10;
System.out.println(a==b ? "Right":"Wrong");
}

public static void main(String[] args) {
//No Objects
}

}

Output

Hello static
Right

Switch

Switch is used as an alternative of if else series of statements. It is more efficient and easy to use than if else if ladder.

Syntax

Switch value{body.. }

Test application

I am going to create a test application in Java using switch that will allow the user to enter any integer numbers from 0 to 10 and the program will produce output in alphabets against any number entered.

import java.util.Scanner;

public class SwitchDemo {

public static void main(String arg[]) {

  System.out.println("Enter the Number to convert " +
    "in alphabets");
  Scanner in = new Scanner(System.in);
  int a;
  do{
   a = in.nextInt();

   switch(a){
   case 0:
    System.out.println("Zero");
    break;
   case 1:
    System.out.println("One");
    break;
   case 2:
    System.out.println("two");
    break;
   case 3:
    System.out.println("Three");
    break;
   case 4:
    System.out.println("Four");
    break;
   case 5:
    System.out.println("Five");
    break;
   case 6:
    System.out.println("Six");
    break;
   case 7:
    System.out.println("Seven");
    break;
   case 8:
    System.out.println("Eight");
    break;
   case 9:
    System.out.println("Nine");
    break;
   case 10:
    System.out.println("Ten");
    break;
   default:
    System.out.println("Wrong input");
    break;
   }
  }while(a<=10);

  }

}

Left Shift "<<"

The left shift "<<" shifts the highest order bit to the right for number of times the user specified.

Syntax

value << position

The value is increased with the double effect according to the value of the position specified.

Example

int value = 10;
int position = 2;

int result = value << position;

So the final value that will be stored in the result variable will be 40.(10,20,40)

Right shift ">>"

The right shift ">>" shifts the lowest order bit to the left for number of times the user specified.

Syntax

value >> position

The value is decrease with the double effect according to the value of the position specified.

Example

int value = 10;
int position = 2;

int result = value >> position;

So the final value that will be stored in the result variable will be 2.(10,5,2.5(2))

KL02 Chip, A miniature Computer!

An invention of two mm chip is just an effort to make available the computer power everywhere. This is what we actually called ubiquitous.
If the internet has to reach everywhere- say from the medicines we take to the clothes we wear, keys we use for locking or unlocking, remote for switching on or off, toaster for toasting slices then computer will definitely need to get a whole lot of tiny. This is really a promising start by the folks to introduce a 2 millimeters square microchip.
KL02 is an ant –ant sized miniature silicon chip unfolded by FreeScale, It is shorter from both the sides like the ants but packs a central unit, a memory unit and many other components. The chip came into the existence when a customer asked for a device tiny enough to be swallowed and little enough to be digested and then extracted. Now it is up on the sale by the FreeScale and it is also up in front of ubiquitous computing communities and other companies for Research and Development purposes to induce more computers like this that contain wireless, sensors and actuators data connections.
You can call about these sorts of devices “The internet of things”.
For example, a thermostat is connected to the internet switches the air coolant on when the temperature of the room gets lower or you arrive with a lot of sweat on your face. Obviously it would not be a fixed configuration or scenario, it would be customizable.
As according to Kaivan Karimi, director of global strategy for microcontrollers at Freescale, If connected sensors are to be distributed across the globe, these tiny computing devices need to be shrunken in size, capacity, power usage and price.
The folks said that they gamble in integrating computer in a small chip that would easily used on circuit board.
KL02 will be offer with some lightly larger microcontrollers like zigbee or other light power blue tooth devices this year.
By adding GUTS of a radio chip to the current designs wireless connectivity is integrated.
The firm is also fatiguing out to refine the technology for packaging together other micro chips to enable many other mm-scale machines.
Karimi Says, “All these diverse creatures need to come in hand and be assimilate together but the tough job for us would be to integrate those altogether at the same time without losing their performance”.
Bringing those sensors or actuators close to each other would be a real nightmare for us because the all produce their own kind of electronic noise that can trouble or interfere with each other or other working components.
One of the challenges we found while designing those chips was of Flash memory that can produce interference in radio chips in smart phones. It is too tiny to avoid this problem in small chip, FreeScale’s Engineers fabricated small Faraday Cages memory to bandage in this electronic noise.
Free Scale is gambling on a Technology called RCP (Redistributed Chip packaging) developed in house is going to make it possible to overcome likely problems.
It has been used by the defense systems for many years to wall against the extreme heat and pressures.
RCP also makes it possible to pile up chips and components; one being studied is using the process to integrate antennas, as well as radio circuits and into the chips.
Free Scale is not the company devoted only to chips but also sees potential profits in supplying chips for a new tide of sensor and other small computers that feed data towards the internet.

An in-depth exploration of Samsung Galaxy S4: A real world guesstimation!

There are lot of appealing qualities of Galaxy S4 and a lot of astound flaws. Is it a perfect phone for your requirements or not???

There are many things in this world that do not need any introduction. I would say Samsung Galaxy S4 is not one amongst those.
Definitely, “Galaxy S series” has practically become a menage name. And sure definitely, you have possibly probably heard all types of hype about the newest Samsung model. But you will have to trust me; there are more to the galaxy s4 than that meets the eye.

I am in the use of Galaxy s4 for about three weeks and I say with my complete nerve control that while this smart phone has its share of unique, appealing features, it is not the final existence of android phone for everyone. The Galaxy s4 has bunch of eye-catching features. But it also makes some serious negotiations. The biggest questions by the public for the folks should be, that is it a complete package for a future user???

So for finding this answer you will have to join me in this detailed journey of s4 and see what this weird device is likely to be used in the real world.
With a new dual year contract Galaxy s4 is at the distribution site on AT&T for $200 with a new dual year contract, Sprint for $250 with a new dual year contract, with a two year payment plan T-Mobile for $150 down, and U.S Cellular for $200 with another two year contract. After a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year contact it Launched on Wireless on May 30 for $200.

Voice and body:

The look and feel for a newly invented s4 is distinctly like a Samsung’s earlier s3. At first sight, people might even mistake. The current model shares the same morph, size and form as its predecessor.

Although the Samsung galaxy s4 is having lot of attractive features, it stills not the termination for android phone for all. We are expecting more innovative features from the folks in the future to release models continuously.

Galaxy s4 in actual shape is slightly sleek and smarter than last year’s model (2.7 x 5.4 x 0.31). It is lighter like a hair and smarter like a spy, weighing only 4.6 oz as compared with earlier GSIII 4.7 oz. The curvature in the body is also less than the previous s3 and more square like.

These differences are so narrow that one has to watch them with a deep concentration for identifications. If we talk about the design, the S4 is very much in queue with what we have seen so far from the Samsung’s earlier versions, with a plastic centric built and almost a baby toy like feeling. The back of the phone is shiny, shell appearance: the back cover is pulled from the right spot and a thin panel is actually protrudes out to reveal the phone’s internal battery pane.
This pros of the plastic covering is that it allows people to access and optionally replace the battery; For durable frames it is made lightly and relatively. The downside is that it makes phone feel and look cheap up head to more swift constructed devices like a HTC one and a glass-centric nexus 4.
The Galaxy S4 is available in “White Frost” or “Black Mist”
Galaxy S4 looks nice if a bit cobwebby in hand. The panel at back is lubricated to the touch but not tough to have a hold. Rear camera creates a delicate knot in the phone’s back, as does a small speaker beanery located at the bottom –left.
Silver colored crisp around it’s edges made it to look like a metal though there is too , is actually plastic. Left edge of the device holds a silver colored cubic rocker while the power switch lies on the top right side. The device is developed keeping the interaction principles and user friendly concept, so it gives a natural position for the fingers to hold. 3.5 mm headphone jack houses on the top of the phone, while micro-USB ports are at the bottom that doubles as an HDMI-output with the use of a standard MHL adapter.

As according to the survey of more than 10K respondents over the globe, IT professionals with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics project management and architectural design can look forward for robust uptakes this year.

According to the reports of Microsoft dynamics salary survey 2013 from Nigel frank international, Those technical architects who are hired as a full time job on Microsoft Dynamics stand to earn 14% salary boost, and project managers are in the queue for a 9% elevation.

Chances for new hiring for other Dynamics IT professionals are very less, the survey says, 4% is the mediocre salary boost athwart other categories.
The survey was primarily focused on the professionals with the skills in four products: Dynamics GP is accounting or ERP software; and Dynamics Customer relationship management software; AX and NAV are ERP platforms.

Technical geeks also overcome some of the largest salaries among Dynamics professionals, , with salaries in the US of $148,000 for those versed in Dynamics AX, $115,000 for NAV, $144,000 for CRM and $115,000 for GP, the survey says. Freelancers can earn up to $1,100 per day.
The average freelance wage increase over the next year is 12%, and that is so attractive that 39% of full-timers would leave their current jobs to freelance.

Still, many (30%) Dynamics workers are dissatisfied with training and career development as well as their compensation. A larger percentage (48.1%) describes themselves as satisfied with their jobs and 8.5% describe themselves as very satisfied.

Amongst those novice users who responds to the surveys, 18.9% in Dynamics CRM and 17.4% in Dynamics GP, 21.8% in Dynamics NAV, 41.9% had competency in Dynamics AX.

There should be a lot of openings for those with the right expertise since 35% of those surveyed plan to switch jobs in the next year, and most of them (58%) are looking for other positions because their current jobs lack career prospects or don't promise large enough salary increases to suit them, the survey says.

Nearly half (45%) of those looking to change jobs would consider moving to another country, with the U.S., U.K., Australia, Canada and Germany scoring as the top choices.

Most jobs related to Dynamics offer laptops, bonuses, a mobile phone and health plans as standard perks. A significant chunk (20% to 50%) also offer life insurance, dental insurance, life insurance and free Internet access, and they give workers the option to work from home..

GeForce GTX 780 has just been announced by the NVIDIA

It’s really a good news for the guys and girls who are the gaming fanatic, the NVIDIA has just rolled over its exciting new GeForce GTX 780 3d graphic card for an amazing and sensational 3D gaming experience. This weird device has been equipped with a dominion Kepler GPU with 2,304 cores and a lightning fast 3GP GDDR5 ram.
It sounds really absorbing and engrossing for the people belonging to the gaming realm.
It is the best gaming technology introduced by the NVIDIA which is programmed to provide blistering frame rates and suave visuals for the upcoming generation of power full hd pc games such as Crysis 3, Battlefield, Watch Dogs and COD.
With this NVIDIA has also released its software update for this device. So the back to back great bounces by the firm have increased its market value to the peaks.
The GeForce GTX 780 integrates the latest gaming technologies of NVIDIA, such as PhysX and NVIDIA TXAA, while the newly GeForce drivers decreases the frame time differences to deliver reliable and smoother frame and a richer overall experience.
The animation and a frame-rate provided by the NVIDIA in this device is fastest and smoother of the all earlier inventions and there isn’t any other stands against this device.
As according to the one of the folks, GeForce GTX was designed considering the thoughts of the gamers who are supposed to drown themselves in the gaming realities and immerse their feelings in the walk through of the game.
To Cope with the enhanced performance ranges and a high temperature produces while playing the graphically and visually powerful games, GeForce GTX 780 equipped with GPU boost 2.0 technology which automatically increases the General processing unit’s clock speeds and control the fans of the processor, as well as the voltage stabilizing and optimizations for water cooling solutions.

Question

A bio-metric web-based time reporting system is been proposed at your University Write down three consistent and testable, functional requirements for this software.

Answer

Before discussing the functional requirements for the software proposed for the university, I will have to describe the function that this software is required to perform. The software keeps the track of working hours spent by employees in the university. The software checks-in and checks-out the employee using their thumb impressions. So the painstaking tasks required by the Payroll department have now become resolved.
The three consistent and testable, functional requirements are as follows:
• Tracking an employee time, including arrivals of an employee and departure time of an employee, lunch time taken by the employee, breaks taken, overtime given, holidays, and absences are easily mapped and can be tested easily.
• Establishing the rules for governing how employee time will be accounted for (rounding, early clock in or out, overtime)
• Reduce the exceptions, inconsistencies and errors associated with manual time tracking system.

Question

You are part of a global organization. The organization has standards for software across all platforms and in all the regions. The IT departments globally interface with each other so technology needs to be standardized. TAL is the latest technology allows interfacing with in-memory databases you have been asked to use this technology to build the latest software as your software will interface the rest of the global systems in the other regions (Brazil, Hong Kong, Denmark, Germany, US) that already uses this technology. You have a new team who are very bright and quick to learn but have not been exposed to this new technology. The project deadline is very tight no lag period.
With your Risk Management hat on, after considering the options of avoiding, transferring, mitigating, or accepting the risk, which option will you take and why ?

Answer

The requirement for developing new software starts from user scenarios to, a simple specification, an advanced one to the final software document that includes all the functional and non-functional specification. But it usually relates to a newly developed system. If we have to integrate an already existing system to its own version of new developed system then it generally requires understanding its function across all platforms or countries in which it is running. TAL is a technology that is used to build the desktop based or web based computer software systems.
You can call it as a framework. It is a multi-functioned program you can also say it as an ERP because it requires to be configured to meet the requirements of existing circumstances of the organization.
TAL’s feature of developing new software requires understanding it and developing it for another group of people that is working in an organization. So people who want to develop it as a part of new integratable system must completely estimate and analyze all the risk involved, the work force that is required to develop it.
This software can be developed through agile development techniques such as extreme programming, evolutionary development, scrum development and pair programming requiring coding all the tasks that are required directly or indirectly
The development will proceed with keeping the model call spiral approach for mirroring with cost estimation, time management, and allocation of appropriate resources to the work force hired or given with the tasks.

Question
Human resources have been asked to calculate pay rises and A software engineer is asked to analyze the relationship between the number of lines of source code (LOC) produced for a set of projects versus the effort (in Hours) required to produce the code.

Answer

If we compare the tasks of the specialists in Human resources with the software engineer then we came to realize that the software engineers are more capable of doing intellectual and critical tasks such as creation of complex algorithms and the choice of suitable decisions at suitable times. Human resource on the other hands is just having to analyze the personalities of the persons on the interview or calculating the efficiencies of the current employees for increments in salaries. Human resources are always asked at some point in their tenure for increasing their salaries because of less diversity and evolution in their job description.
While a software engineer is paid for the amount of work he does on the particular software project he completes. A software engineer is paid for the number of lines of codes that he produces for generating the real time product for a firm or an enterprise versus the working hours taken by him to produce those lines of codes. So there is a big change or you can say there is a big diversity in the job description and specification for the software engineer with those within human resource.

Question

State Transport Co-operation is embarking on a automated system that sells tickets 24 * 7 at all its outlets. The customer will be able to select a destination put in the debit card details and if authentication is cleared and the transaction is viable a valid ticket is issued. Take a look at a stab of the user spec below.
The customer is presented with a screen and the process of buying a ticket is commenced once the customer presses the start button.
When the start button on the screen is pressed a menu displays all possible potential destinations as well as a message prompting the user to select a destination
Once a destination has been selected and the amount of destination displayed, the customer is required to next select mode of payment which is either a recognized debit card or a State Transport debit card.
Customer is required to input their card details and once this goes through authentication, the next stage is the validation of the transaction.
Once transaction has been cleared a ticket is issued with a system generated customer receipt
(NB a State Transport debit card allows you to convert monies into credit stored on the card that can be used at any of its outlets to purchase tickets)
The above is a good start at a user spec but there are a number of ambiguities that need to be resolved for a clearer detailed specification. What can you deduce from the following of the above user requirement
Can a customer buy several tickets for the same destination, or is this split into several transactions (i.e. does system handle group bookings)
Can a customer cancel a request if a mistake is made (i.e. input of wrong destination)
If authentication is not passed or transaction invalid how the system handle this.
If the customer wants to buy another ticket for another destination how does the system handle this
Question
Resolve if possible the 4 ambiguities above and write a walk through scenario for this State Transport System, which shows some of the important ways this system can be used. Think of it as a detailed user guide

Answer

First of all I will be oversimplifying the scenario of the system. The system has been proposed for State Transport Co-operation is that it is offering an automated system with the custody of the custom debit cards. The card will help the customers for buying tickets from the system booths where ever, any time on any firm’s outlet. So it is pretty much similar to standard debit cards but it is not for other uses.
Due to the vagueness of the requirements there could be more ambiguity in defining the system features and functions.
I am going to present some best suitable business logics of this system for the resolution of ambiguities:
• A single customer cannot by more than one ticket for a single location
• A customer should be able to cancel the request if he/she make mistake, for handling this all sorts of validations must
be done on the client terminals with proper checks before submitting the final write operation to the database.
• The system should give at least three input tries to the user for making transaction by logging in other wise ban that client for one hour.
• The system should offer the clients for choose between multiple locations located at the relevant ways at multiple tickets.
The system is very useful for every one because it removes the painstaking task to reach some specific stop for boarding into the bus or reaching a branch office for buying tickets. It is an amazing offer for old persons and for students.

Question

As part of the National Health Scheme the government of Germany has decided to automate the Ambulance Service (193) and have a computer-aided dispatch service. You have been brought in by the Government to act as a business consultant and one of your first task is to write a “a detailed user requirement specification” which is unambiguous and can be put out to tender. Your specification will deal with software aspect only.
Your Requirements should be numbered, testable and consist of complete sentences. Please do not write more than 2 A4 sheets.

Answer

The working of public safety agencies and communication centers in the present century is totally dependent upon the information gathered and an ability to analyze and manage that information. That requirement of gathering information and analyzing it heavily depends upon the computer-aided dispatch software for automating ambulance services and other public safety services.
The design, development, license and implementation of this computer-aided dispatch system can be a complicated part for large or medium sized public safety agencies or communication centers.
The implementation of this system not only involve the installation of nodes and the CAD software it also involve connecting this system to several other third party systems such as alarm input systems, mobile data systems, time synchronization sources, data management systems, computer-aided systems of other agencies and the local, country, state and federal network of criminal justice databases.
The design, development, purchase and installation of CAD systems can be a complicated endeavor for a medium or large-size public safety agency. It involves not only the installation of computers and the CAD software, but usually connection to a wide variety of other systems: alarm inputs, mobile data systems, time synchronization sources, records management systems, CAD systems of other agencies, and the local, county, state and federal network of criminal justice databases.
Elements of a Computer-aided dispatch system:
The computer-aided dispatch software is a program that keeps a record of incidents handled by a public safety agency such as ambulance service, or it can be a complex set of different other programs and external connections to fully guard everything that a public safety communication center does.
The relevancy and complexity of this system is usually tested and dictated by the size of the public safety agency such as ambulance service and the number of dispatcher is working to support it.
Most of the simple computer-aided dispatch systems are called “calls for service”. Reason for their names comes from their ability to combine data of a live and in-use CAD program with more off-line records management systems.
If we see the history of CAD systems, they usually consisted of mainframe computers located in a central computer room, linked to “dumb” terminals in the communication centers showing only text-based or console based information. That was quite different from today’s client- server architecture with data residing on a central computer that is linked with millions of PCs linked worldwide geologically dispersed. This architecture also provides back-up servers to provide services to the users when one server down due to any trouble. Also with this architecture users can have flexible outputs. And today’s systems present the outputs to the users on large terminals with different color models, graphics and symbols.
Computer-aided programs have essential elements for supporting dispatcher’s work:
911 interfaces: -
The 911 systems and the CAD computers are connected to each other electronically,
So that the caller’s number and the address of the caller are displayed on the screen and automatically transferred to the fields of the computer-aided dispatch software incident entry form fields.
Incident Information database: -
This database is of the incident data, that data is usually obtained from the called, that data includes the location of the caller, that location data includes the house number, street number and name, an intersection area, caller’s personal information and other gathered by the dispatcher.
Whenever the incident is recorded in the database, the CAD compares the data with previous incidents data in the records, if the match is not found the incident is recorded as a new incident and it will displays an relevant alerts based on those comparisons.
Location Verification: -
Once the locations of the incidents automatically received from 193 or those were manually typed in, the CAD matched it with the file called geo file created by the communication center or ambulance agency at the time when the software was first installed. The geo file is a database system of locations, including house numbers, street numbers, intersection areas and etc. These files ensure that the locations are within the boundary, within a valid reachable block number range and are consistently entered again and again.
Information files: -
Once the location for the incident has been verified, CAD attaches the incident to any of its information system or information databases, that includes previous incidents at the same location, it then address alerts, encrypted text-information, telephone numbers, personal lists, ambulance dispatch procedures, suspect hazards and other relevant detail.
Incident Display: -
Once the incident detail is entered in the CAD, CAD then can display a list of pending, current and past incidents, according to dispatcher’s assignment and preference. These incidents are sorted by date, time and priority, type of incident or other criteria.
These were few elements for the computer-aided dispatched software for ambulance services the specification can go beyond the suggested limit but I specified most important and functional features for the system proposed for the Germany ambulance service.

Encrypt Messages Using java App

Description :

Now you can use this little app for securing your conversation and messages, that needs to be
travel through places that are vulnerable to intruders and hackers that can modify your message
contents and forwards this modified message to your friends or colleagues as it seems it is sent by
you!
This little app is developed solely in java and it provides a way to encrypt (encode) or decrypt (decode)
the message that is somehow very difficult to crack and extract the
sensitive information.

Algorithm Used :

The app uses a basic enciphering technique called Caesar Cipher
that uses the substitution cipher to change the plaint text
according to the defined key! Same is used for decoding a encrypted
message to get the original message but in opposite direction.

Usage Guide:

Initial Interface:

The window up shows the main frame of the application. At
the beginning all the fields are resent to contain no values.

Encoding a message:

As you can see, a plain text message must be written
without spaces in the "Encrypt message" field at the time
of sending the message and a key value
must be provided to encode the message using substitution algorithm(key)
the key must also provided to the receiver at the receiving end to decrypt or decode the encoded message to get
the plain text.

Decoding a message:

A key must be provided to the receiver to decode the message back
at original text. As you can see, at this time, the coded message
is written in the "Decrypt" field and also a key is provided to get the original message back.

Both sender and receiver system must have the software running on their machines.

Advantages of using Encryption:

Provides Security to the most sensitive information.

Provides secrecy to the messages.

Get the App for free:

CaesarCipher.Jar

Source:

CaesarCipherSystem.java

This brief tutorial will help you in running your first Java Servlet. As java Servlets are server side programs that are compiled by a java compiler and the their class files are executed by a web browser.
So it would be your first question how can we execute that class file(Servlet's Bytecode) on a web browser by submitting a URL of that servlet name?Definitely it's very easy and straight forward.

To run a Servlet you must have a web container installed and configured in your computer. In case of java Servlets you must have a Tomcat installed in your computer.It is a java based web server founded by the Apache Organization.

Apart from this, you should also have the standard JDK installed on your local machine.
So first of all i will teach you how to install standard JDK and it's configuration on local machine.

Following steps will help you in installing JDK and setting path on your local machine:

1- Download the latest JDK from the oracle java distribution . Follow the link below:

--->   Download JDK
You will get the web page containing the given snapshot.
Choose your platform related distribution.

2- After downloading this software, double click the EXE file to start it's installation. By default it will be install in C://programfiles/java. You can change the path.

3- Now open up the JDK folder from newly created java folder and further open the bin folder. And after that, Copy the path from path bar.

4- Now right click My Computer go to properties->advanced tab->Environmental variables->new path and write "PATH" in variable name without coarse and paste the path in variable value and put a semicolon at the end.

--------------------------------------------------------

Variable Name : Path
Variable Value : C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_26\bin;

--------------------------------------------------------
Apply Changes.

Now test it's execution:

Go to start->run->type "CMD"without coarse.
Type Command: javac
You will be able to see a bunch of information
And then
Type : java
Again you will see a bunch of information

All Done....

----------------------------------------------------

Now the real story begins...

Installing Tomcat:

1- First of all download Tomcat from free apache distribution centre from the following link.

--- >   Download Tomcat.

2- Make sure you download the version of the Tomcat similar to the JDK i.e, JDK 7.0, Tomcat 7.0.

Note :- In this case, you should download the zip file of the binary distribution. (Make sure to check the platform relevancy.. In my case i chooses 32 bit windows zip for my 32 bit window 7 and 32 bit window xp).
(Reason for choosing zip file is that it wont required to be install, it will be configured easily)

3 - After downloading, right click My Computer->properties(in case of windows 7, open advanced system properties)->advanced tab->environmental properties->path-And then edit both fields with.

---------------

Variable name : java_home

Variable value : C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_26 (my default location of jdk)

----------------

Press ok, AND THEN ONCE AGAIN OPEN PATH and edit both fields with:

---------------

Variable name : jre_home

Variable value : C:\Program Files\Java\jre6 (my default location of jre)

----------------

APPLY CHANGES...

Now start the services of the Tomcat through following guidelines:

1 - Go the the tomcat directory.

2- Open bin

3- Double Click startup.bat file.

Test Run:-

Open browser and write the following URL

=>Localhost:8080

=> ALL DONE if you receive the window of the Apache Software foundation.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Now after when you have installed and configured the jdk and tomcat, you are ready to editing and compiling your first java servlets but this wont happen unless you paste the packages that are required by the servlet in the jdk because by default jdk don't provide the servlets packages (javax.http, javax.servler.http).
This would be done through following guid lines:

1 - Go to your tomcat directory.
2 - Open lib folder.
3 - Copy "Servlet-api"  (jar file:java archive file).
4 - Now go to java folder and open it.
5 - Open jdk
6- Open jre(within jdk folder not with jdk)
7 - Open lib.
8 - Open ext.
9 - Paste the servlet-api here.

All done(Not Everything).... you have successfully built the servlet library in your standard JDK now you are ready to import both packages in your serlvet program and compile it.

GETTING READY TO RUN SERVLET :-

Follow these steps : -
1 - Write a java servlet through any plain text editor(I recommend you use Notepad++).
Following is an Example Program : -

import javax.servlet.*;
import javax.servlet.http.*;
import java.io.*;
public class MyFirstWebApp extends HttpServlet{

public void doGet(HttpServletRequest req, HttpServletResponse res)throws IOException, ServletException {

PrintWriter out = res.getWriter();
out.write("Here is My First Web Application");//This line will be printing on //browser

}
}
2 - Open your tomcat directory -->webapps-->ROOT-->WEB-INF, and create a folder with the name "classes"(without coarse) in this directory and SAVE your server here with the name MyFirstWebApp.java

3- Now open the Command prompt and access the directory of classes containing servlet java file,described above.

4- Compile it with command "Javac MyFirstWebApp.java"(without coarse).
5-It will generate the bytecode.
6- Dont run the class file with java JIT (e.g java MyFirstWebApp) as this class would execute by the browser.
7- Now make some changes in xml file called WEB located in-->tomcat-->webapps-->root-->WEB-INF.
8 - Right click on it and open it with some text editor and Edit it with this:

Welcome to Tomcat
</description

     <servlet>
<servlet-name>MyFirstWebApp</servlet-name>
<servlet-class>MyFirstWebApp</servlet-class>
</servlet>

<servlet-mapping>

<servlet-name>MyFirstWebApp</servlet-name>
<url-pattern>/MyFirstWebApp</url-pattern>

</servlet-mapping>

</web-app>

9 - Now start services of the tomcat by executed startup.bat file located in bin directory of the Tomcat.
10 - Open web browser
11- Write URL: Localhost:8080/MyFirstWebApp
12 - You will receive this output : Here is My First Web Application.

Now Everything is done.. This would be all.. Good Luck.!
Secong: it checks if btnEmpty[x] is equal to btnEmpty[y]- x being winCombo[each set][the first number]
       y being winCombo[each set the same as x][the second number] (So basically checks if the first and
       second number in each set is equal to each other)
      Third: it checks if btnEmtpy[y] is eual to btnEmpty[z]- y being the same y as last time and z being
       winCombo[each set as y][the third number]
      Conclusion: So basically it checks if it is equal to the btnEmpty is equal to each set of numbers

Color Code Generator

The two tools below will help you get the six digit color code i.e hexadecimal value. These tools will help you a lot in customizing your Blogger templates and for writing more appealing posts. Kindly Follow the instructions for each tool before using it.

Color Code Generator

Instructions:

First drag the bar on the "Hue" selector to the area of your desired colour palate.

Then click inside the Brightness/Saturation area and drag the cursor until you have achieved your desired colour. The "Swatch" bar shows you the final colour result.

The hexadecimal colour code is generated in the "Hex" box. Simply copy the six digit code i.e #000000

That’s it!

Color Wheel For Choosing Matching Palate Colors

This is a pretty useful tool to achieve matching or cohesive colours for navigation menu, background, hyperlinks, header etc.
Instructions:

Simply paste the six digit colour code in the form below without the hash (#) sign and then hit Update

The matching colour codes will appear inside the four boxes at the right side.

You can then copy the hex values and start using them!
