Keyword Density for a Best Blog Post

It is important to know that keyword density should be from 3% to 5%. Increasing keyword density could harm your post. Use these keywords in natural way. Adjust them in such a way that it does not create the sense of getting repeated.

What to Avoid?

While making a Custom Permalink, following points must be in your mind.

Do not exceed permalink too much. Domain name and permalink together should be maximum 70 letters.
Special characters like !, @, #, $, %, ^, &, *, (, ), <, >, ? etc. are unaccepted.
No space to be given.
You can use “_” and “-“ only.
We suggest to use dash “-“ instead of underscore "_" to separate words for better reading.
Do not repeat keyword in permalink.

Important!

As we know that Post title and Search Descriptions are very important and we put too much time on them. Similarly Permalink is also important. Remember,

You can edit a post title
You can edit a search description
You can modify contents of post body.
You can change pictures.
But you cannot changed / modify Permalink which is once published.

Therefore, always try to customize permalink with great care.

Too Much Long Permalink

If you make a long tail permalink, then some of the words / keywords could be axed by Google crawlers. Therefore, it is important to keep the length of permalink in mind. Do not exceed any link from 70 letters. See the following screenshot to understand the logic.

Never forget to use the main keyword.
Do not exceed from 155 letters.
Try to have minimum 140 to 150 letters or you may use 100 – 150 letters.
Write in natural way.
Do not cheat by writing unrelated keywords.

By keeping these tips, you will see that your blog will bring a massive traffic. Better description could bring you better traffic. So give good time to making SEO based description.

Note: The red highlighted words are the keywords which you enter in post title.

2. Keep Limited letter in Post Title

This is very important to know that long post titles are not completely shown in search engine. There is a limit for the numbers of letters you enter in your post title. You are suggested to enter maximum 60 letters in post title.

For instance:

In the above title, there are 78 letters included spaces. This is not a good title for two reasons.

This is a long post title which should not be as longer.
It does not have attraction at all to be clicked. The keyword {Free Blog} has been repeated which should not be done.

Try to have a short and inviting post title enriched with catchy vocabulary.

3. Contents and Post Title Relation

Matt Cutts was asked whether Search Engine should be given importance or Users. He answered that both of them were necessary. It means that you should work for Search Engine as well as Users. For search engine, apply SEO techniques and for users, provide quality content.

Therefore, it is extremely necessary to pay attention towards contents. Do not say that Post title is king or only content is king. They both are necessary. You must provide your viewers in contents:

What is mentioned in post title?
Solution of the problem.
Post title must be related to contents.

4. Keyword in Post title

If there is no keyword in your post title, then surely you are wasting your time. There must be at least one keyword related to your post. Keywords are backbones of post title and contents. No keywords, no desired results. But remember:
