HOW MUCH DOES GEOEDGE COST?

You can test GeoEdge, which is exactly what I did. There is a free version you can use that will let you look at 8 different locations. The problem is you will only be able to use these locations on the search engine rankings page. You will not be able to utilize it for an exact URL, but you will be able to see how you rank in a certain location.

There is a pro package you can try, which starts at about 59.00$ per month. You can view 3 locations and you would have a search limit capacity of 200mb.

The best deal I believe they offer is the package where you can customize it based on the location you are interested in viewing the most. The combinations you choose and the size of the markets will determine your price. Before you do anything it might be a good idea to take advantage of their free trial option. If you feel it would not be a good investment for you then you can simply cancel it.

MY FINAL CONCLUSION

I feel that GeoEdge does not have much value for someone who is not generating a decent amount of income from their online business. Someone who is doing respectable online will see this as an investment and they will certainly benefit from it. If you provide SEO services to local business and create location specific products then GeoEdge will also be a good tool for you.

The Feedburner FeedCount widget will display the daily average number of subscribers to your blog. This is available to anyone who publishes their feed through Feedburner. It’s free and very easy to use, and you can even change the color scheme to match that of your Blogger template!

Here’s how you can display your subscriber count using Feedburner’s FeedCount widget:

Log in to your Feedburner dashboard, and click on the name of the blog feed you are interested in.
Near the top of this screen, you will see tabs which lead to various sections of your dashboard. You need to click on the “Publicize” tab, which will offer you different options to publicize your blog’s feed:
This page will feature a menu in the left sidebar, which lists the various options you can use to publicize your Feedburner feed. Click on the “FeedCount” link in the sidebar, which will take you to the page where you can configure your widget and get the code you need to display this in your blog.

My Blogging Success Starts

My blog has been live for more than 1 year and I still remember the day I told that my blogging days have started. In these 12 moths time, I did hard study on blogging and making money online niches an wrote almost 27 posts relating to them which generated about 51 comments till now and have 34 RSS subscribers and 32 blog followers. That's a great thing for a blogger like me who always wanted a less but more than before. But in the eyes of big and pro bloggers, my success is not a great story because they get 100% more than what I get but still its a success story for me. Now listen what happened in this moth, which kick off my blogging career?
In the 11 day of January, I've got almost 15 comments in my blog which is a great thing for me because I normally didn't used to get more than 10 comments every month. But now only in 11 days, I've got 15. Pretty good. Next thing is I got 6 RSS subscribers in 11 days, which I normally didn't use to get in 1 moth. This is also a great success to me. Next thing I usually get more than 100 visitors everyday, which is great than before because previously, I didn't used to get more than 25-40. One time it was when I got 150 for a week then the next day, it was 10. Nut now, the lowest number of visitors on my blog is 100 everyday and the highest I got today which is exactly 210. The largest no. of visitors till date and its continuing to grow. Now the hard work that I did is paying off me. The thing is that I am not making money online because its not a big thing for others as I already mentioned. No matter of money for money, I will get it someday. Till then its a great success to me!!!!!!

Now, its been almost 4-5 months I've been telling you how to generate to your blog/website.Now its time to start generating revenue through it. There are many ways of generating revenue through your website/blog now but better discuss the best one for both blog and website.

I'm taking about joining Google Adsense Plan now and start making money online. I've told you about this a little previously but now I'm gonna tell out more about it!

I hope you all are familiar with Google Adsense. If not then lets fact it!

Adsense is a service program run by Google Inc. that empowers the publisher to make money online through his/her blog/website by displaying relevant adds on it. Google makes a lot of profit every year through Adsense. It makes almost $10BN from this service. Adsense shares the amount of profit that they made with the publisher. They pay from around 2 cents to 15-20 dollars depending upon the keyword. If you've highly targeted keyword then you can make money amount but if you have lower competitive keywords then you may be paid less.

Now there is the question, how to get approved in this program?

For this first of all you need to have a fully functioning website/blog that gets fine traffic and 10-15 posts on it. Then go to http://adsense.google.com . Then sign up the form with the correct details that they need and submit it. Then wait for 1 day until they review your site and approve you. After 1-2 day, you'll receive an Email from Google Adsense team confirming whether they're accepting you or not. IF they are then its good for you but sometimes they don't. There might be various reasons you're unaccepted. Some of them are below!!!

#1: Having a top level domain may be a greater chance of acception but adsense is approved in free Google's site like Blogger but there is a little chance in it.

#2: Adsense doesn't gets approved if you've mentioned "Under Construction" on your website Its beyond Google Adsene's terms and conditions.

#3: Your domain name/free blog should must be active for few months and should be posted frequently.

#4: Your blog/website should have nice and genuine(not copied) posts. Then only there's high chance of acception.

Once you meet all these requirements then go to http://adsense.google.com and signup and wait until you receive Confirmation Email. If Accepted HURRAY and if not then don't then don't loose hope. Concentrate on your blog/website and try to make it better and better. Try joining Chitika and make money through it and chill!!!

WARNING: Never click on your own adds. You might get disapproved in the middle like I was. I'd been testing and got disapproved. Warning to you all never ever do this thing!!!!!

The path to success is a very slow upward curve. Success is the result of a long period of small improvements. Here I'm gonna tell you how does the way that you've started in blogging career to get success look like if you follow it continuously??

I know you want real numbers and exact times and amounts of work. The following scenario is what I've experienced, and what I've observed among friends and colleagues who've endeavoured to make money on the internet. Note that this scenario is for someone who puts in serious effort, not just a weekend here and there.

The first month: You're excited about creating your blog/website. It's new and interesting. You work hard, creating the basic pages of the site, and writing your first articles.

No one comes to your site, but that doesn't bother you.

1m – 6m ("Website Winter"): The initial rush of enthusiasm has worn off. You've put in a lot of work, but you're still getting almost no visitors. A few random people are coming in through obscure Google searches, and through the few links you have. You're making 0-50c a day from a few clicks on your advertising, or maybe you've sold one product.

Website Winter is the most common stage at which websites die. Not knowing what's ahead, many webmasters become despondent at this point, and give up.

Regardless of not getting any worthwhile results, you stick with it anyway.

6m – 12m: You write lots more content for your website, and the size and quality of your site improves significantly. You start to get a few good links from other sites, and you show up on Google for some low-traffic searches. You break through the 100-visitors-a-day mark. The first trickle of money has started coming in. It's under $10 a day, but it's something you can see, and can improve.

1y – 3y: Your website is now a serious resource, with a significant amount of high-quality information. Well, there are many answers for this question, but I would prefer this one!!!!

i. It stops you from giving up!

I QUIT you all might be familiar with this word. It means giving up in something that you'd started when you don't get good results. It mostly happens with the blogger when they write only 2-3 posts and wait for success. But when you write frequently and have 15-20 posts, then you'll start getting success in your blogging career. You'll get some mass of traffic and start to do more. So, when you write frequently, you stop yourself from quitting the job that you're doing coz you're getting a good result!!

ii. It makes you a hard worker and a successful person in blogging

If you're writing daily/frequently, then its sure for the success. When you get some success then it leads you to work hard to become even more successful than that you're now. For e.g.: if you used to write 3-4 posts weekly then, this success will lead you to write a single post per day (i.e. 7 posts per week) which is more than before. So, when you write blog frequently, it leads you to work even harder and you'll become a successful person in blogosphere.

iii. It helps you to generate some pocket money yourself

When you blog frequently, the its sure you're getting some traffic in your bog. Then you can sign up in adsense, Chitika and advertise others blog in yours. By this you'll get some pocket money from your blog and you won’t have to ask for it to your parents. Authors of other blogs may hire you for writing on their blog and you can get paid. So, blogging frequently also helps you to get some pocket money and you can spend it wherever you like without any arguments from your parents!!!

iv. It increases you talent & quality in writing

See, when you write frequently, then the talent that you have will keep on increasing because writing sharpens the mind and thinking for the post makes your mind a good thinker. That’s what happened to me after I've been in blogging. Previously, I didn't have any sort of knowledge on the out things except course books. When my class teacher gave me essays & speeches to write then I used to copy from friends & ask my elder brothers’ coz I couldn't generate them. But now after this blogging I can write essay on any topic in lesser time. I'd managed several blogs on meditation, being successful in life, yoga, history of Kathmandu& about a person's life. But now I've deleted them and I concentrate only in this blog. So, writing frequently also makes your mind a good thinker& makes you a god writer.

Hye everyone !! Wasszzuppp!!!!!!

Welcome to my blog again.. This blog has been live since 11th of August and the common mistake I did in this 4 months is that I posted very less... At first of this blog, I used to day that you need to post at least 3 posts in a week but I am going beyond of myself .. Just opposite is happening to me.. I publish a post hardly 1 in 2-3 weeks these dayz...
But strange is happening and my fate is in my favor. Posting very lessly also, I get an average of 75-100 visitors everyday which is bigger than before:D.. But his doesn't happens to everyone and everyday. I was surprised to see the stats yesterday which was showing only 2 visitors and I promised myself to publish an article on my blog and also comment on other blogs and a surprise, I got 50 visitors in 1 hours in Online... So, that's what hapening to me. My fate is Playing good as well as bad game with me.. Now, from Today, I'm gonna post very frequently and also suggest all the visitors to post regularly on their blog/website:D..

First of all let me tel you what are REFFERAL WEBSITES?
Refferal Websites is the websites, from here you get visits to your blog. It an be a small blog to a big social network. The source from where you get something is called refferal source. So refferal websites are the sources from where you get visitors for your blog.. You can get a refferal visit by commenting on other blogs, posting your website's link in social network or either by doing surveys...
Well, before 1 Month, I also didn't knew any value of those refferal websites, but in this 1 Months, I've learnt a lot from them..
In this 1 month, I did many things for refferal visits.....I commented in manu big blogs like problogger.net, smartbloggerz.com,youngprepro.com,carlocab.com and many others.. I totally posted 30-40 comments and got a lot of benifites from them.... My blog used to get only upto 50-75 visitors everyay but now I'm getting an average of 150 visitors every day.....
I get
20 visitors from problogger.net
10 visitors from smartbloggerz.com
5-10 visitors from carlocab.com
and the largest,
around 50 visitors from stumbleupon.com.....
So in total, I get around 100 visitors from those refferal sites...........
And the rest of 50 I get from serach engines and some direct visitors......
So, I wanna tell you that the refferal websites are greatest source of visitors for your websites/blog.. Ypu can get refferal visits by many ways as I mentioned....So, for your blog's traffic and good ranking, refferal visitors are great help.... You will really need thm if you want to be a successful blogger..

Reader Attention Span – It is pretty well documented that the typical web reader has a short attention span when it comes to reading content online.
SEO – There is a fairly strong opinion among those considered experts in Search Engine Optimization that both extremely short and extremely long web pages are not ranked as highly as pages that are of a reasonable length. Of course no one really knows how many words are ideal – but the general opinion seems to be that a page of at least 250 words are probably a reasonable length. Similarly, many advise keeping pages under 1000 words.
Quantity of Posts – One theory that goes around is that shorter posts allow you to write more posts and that more posts are better for generating readership with RSS and in Search Engines. While I don’t know their strategy personally, some believe this is what sites like Engadget andGizmodo do with their high number of short posts which make up the majority of their content.
Topic/Genre - The type of post that you’re writing will often determine it’s length. For example when writing a review of a product you’ll generally write a longer post than when you write a news related post where you link to something someone else has written.
Comprehensive Coverage of the Topic - Ultimately this has to be the main criteria that bloggers go with. I can’t remember who advised this but at some point in the last year I read someone saying that you should write enough to comprehensively cover your topic and then stop. Long posts for the sake of them are not a wise move – but so are short ones that don’t cover the topic well.
