Blogging is becoming more and more popular every single day. It is becoming an extremely advantageous avenue for businesses, as well as a means of communication for individuals and businesses alike. Many bloggers have the opportunity to make a good living by blogging. So, is paid blogging a scam?

The answer to this question depends on several different factors. Just like any other means for bringing in an income, the blogging world has its share of “scammers.” There are always going to be people and businesses out there willing to scam anyone they can.

Paid blogging has become a good source of additional income for stay-at-home-moms. The SAHM network has increased with many mothers staying home and blogging. Blog topics range from cooking, to financial information, to real estate hints, to ways to get better gas mileage, etc. The sky is literally the limit when it comes to the topics that are blogged about.

If you are looking into becoming a paid blogger, there are several things to ask yourself before committing to blogging for anyone.

1. Do I know this individual? If you know the individual for whom you will be blogging for, the chances for you getting “scammed” are fewer. The bloggers that seek out random individuals or companies to blog for are the ones who take the bigger risk.

2. Is the company profitable? Make sure that the company you will be blogging for is profitable. You don’t want to work for a company that will not be able to pay you for your work!

3. Is the company well-known? The company doesn’t have to necessarily be well-known for it to be scam-free. Many start up companies are using blogs to communicate with their customers. The risks will be slightly lower if the company has been around for a while and is well-known.

4. Simply do your homework. Find out as much as you can about the individual or company that you will be writing for. You will greatly minimize your risks of being scammed this way.

Paid blogging isn’t a scam, but there are those individuals and companies out there who are looking to scam someone in the blogging world. Be sure to thoroughly do your research before you start blogging for anyone. Paid blogging can be a great source of income for you and your family if you are careful about what you do.

Businesses everywhere are creating blogs. Why? These companies have realized the many benefits that come with starting a blog. Here are the top reasons why your company should set up a blog today.

1. Advertising. Blogging is a cheap and extremely effective form of advertising. Having a blog is literally like word-of-mouth referrals, but on the Internet. Personal blogs everywhere place links to their favorite business blogs, thus creating a strong referral system. These blogs are viewed hundreds of times per day and can bring other customers to your business blog.

2. Get it out! Sometimes you want to express some idea or thought to your customers, but it isn’t necessarily proper to put that idea/thought on your business’ website. You can put it on your blog. Blogs are the perfect place to informally communicate with your customers and potential customers.

3. To prove that you are an expert. Blogs are the perfect place to prove that you are an expert in your field. You have the opportunity to write articles and post statistics that will show your customers and potential customers how much you really do know.

4. As a creative outlet. You have the chance to be creative with your blog. This creativity can’t always be expressed through your website. Who knows, you might drum up some valuable clients and customers through a creative blog.

5. Make money. Advertisers will pay you to place their advertisements on your company blog. You won’t have this opportunity to make extra money if you only have a website. Creating a blog lets you make money from your customers and from Internet advertisers.

6. Blogging is the number one way to reach thousands of people quickly. Blogging allows you to place keywords within the text of your post. Search engines pick up these keywords and will place your blog near the top of their lists. Blogging is the most effective way to reach high numbers of people extremely quickly.

There are countless reasons why your company should start a blog. The adage “everyone is doing it” does apply, but in terms of your company, blogging is one of the best ways to find new clientele and widen your customer base.

Why does your company have a corporate blog? The reasons “why” are countless. Among those is probably to increase search engine optimization. Companies who have blogs are more well-known that companies without blogs because potential customers go to the Internet to find companies that offer a variety of services. The more that is “out there” about your company, the more customers you are destined to have. Blogs are a great way to increase that number of customers.

However, you can’t just “have a blog.” You need a strategy. Here are the top 10 corporate blog strategies that will get your blog to generate business.

1. Remember your readers. With every post, you need to keep your audience in mind. Write about what your customers want to know and write it at their level. You wouldn’t write a midterm essay on a kindergartner’s reading level would you?

2. Make those posts a comin’. One of the reasons why you have a corporate blog is for your customers right? Well, customers who read blogs read them to stay informed. Most times, readers will check blogs at least once a day but probably several times throughout the day. You can’t expect to post once a month and have your customers be satisfied. Keep the posts regular.

3. Think about it. Don’t slap a post on your blog just to say you are staying “current.” Only post meaningful things on your blog. Think about what your customers need and write about that. Your customers will appreciate the time you took to think about their needs and their loyalty to your company will increase.

4. Stay connected. This goes hand-in-hand with thinking about what you write. It is so important to stay connected with your readers/customers. Doing so is sure to increase your customer satisfaction level and overall number of clientele.

5. Don’t forget…the sales pitch. Don’t be afraid to throw in a sales pitch now and then. You can be subtle about it or extremely direct. Or, you could add a variety of sales pitches. Make sure your clientele knows how much you appreciate them by asking for their business.

6. Create a network. Networking is everything in the business world. Link your blog to a variety of blogs for companies that offer services that your customers may need or want. The blogging referral system is always a great place to find products and services and your customers know that.

7. Outsource. You don’t need to spend all day everyday creating posts for your blog. Outsource the work to someone who writes well and knows the specific needs of your company. This will allow you to take care of other things that you may be responsible for.

8. Be careful about outsourcing. When outsourcing work for your company’s blog, be smart about it. Don’t pay a blogger $50 per blog post (especially since blog posts are relatively short). Set a reasonable price and find the right person.

9. Post surveys. Every so often, ask your readers/customers what they want to know. Post surveys to find out their specific needs and what they want to read about on your blog. Customers love feeling valued and this is an easy way to do that.

10. Stay current. Make sure that all of the information that is posted on your blog is current. There is nothing worse than reading something on a blog that is old or outdated. You might even lose customers this way because they won’t value or trust other things that you post.

Corporate blogs are the perfect addition to your website. They are a valuable marketing tool and an excellent way to connect with your clientele. Use these corporate blogging strategies to ensure that your blog is a successful one.

It didn’t take Internet-users long to realize that blogging pays off.

Each post provides the opportunity for increased traffic and we’re not just talking about a little bit of traffic. One post could drive up the traffic to your website by thousands, or even millions.

So, why are blogs so effective?

The number one reason why blogs are so effective in driving up the traffic to websites is because blog posts are frequent. Often times, blog owners post at least once a day. More times than not, posts are placed several times a day. In general, five posts per week is a good rule of thumb to go by. You will be surprised how much traffic five posts per week will bring to your website. Once you are comfortable with five posts per week, try increasing that number to seven or possibly ten posts per week.

Blog posts are the kind of signal that websites want search engines to pick up. As the number of blog posts increase, the ranking for that particular website will also increase. Search engines rank websites by certain content-based keywords. Blog posts help increase the number of times those content-based keywords are used.

It is vital that each post on your blog uses only fresh, current and informative information. Just as the frequency is important in making posts, the validity of the information you post is also important. Outdated information will only hurt your blog and website, even if you are posting often.

Blogs are the perfect way to increase the traffic to your website. Make sure that you only use current information. Also, make sure that you frequently post any information for your blog. As you do, search engine optimization will increase, as well as the overall traffic to your blog and website.

Six married men will be dropped on an island with one car and
3 kids each for six weeks.

Each kid will play two sports and either take music or dance classes.

There is no fast food.

Each man must take care of his 3 kids; keep his assigned house clean, correct all homework, and complete science projects, cook, do laundry, and pay a list of ‘pretend’ bills with not enough money.

In addition, each man will have to budget in money for groceries each week.

Each man must remember the birthdays of all their friends and relatives, and send cards out on time–no emailing.

Each man must also take each child to a doctor’s appointment, a dentist appointment and a haircut appointment.

He must make one unscheduled and inconvenient visit per child to the Urgent Care.

He must also make cookies or cupcakes for a social function.< BR>
Each man will be responsible for decorating his own assigned house, planting flowers outside and keeping it presentable at all times.

The men will only have access to television when the kids are asleep and all chores are done.

The men must shave their legs, wear makeup daily, adorn himself with jewelry, wear uncomfortable yet stylish shoes, keep fingernails polished and eyebrows groomed.

During one of the six weeks, the men will have to endure severe abdominal cramps, back aches, and have extreme, unexplained mood swings but never once complain or slow down from other duties.

They must attend weekly school meetings, church, and find time at least once to spend the afternoon at the park or a similar setting.

They will need to read a book to the kids each night and in the morning, feed them, dress them, brush their teeth and comb their hair by 7:00 am.

A test will be given at the end of the six weeks, and each father will be required to know all of the following information: each child’s birthday, height, weight, shoe size, clothes size and doctor’s name. Also the c hild’s weight at birth, length, time of birth, and length of labor, each child’s favorite color, middle name, favorite snack, favorite song, favorite drink, favorite toy, biggest fear and what they want to be when they grow up.

The kids vote them off the island based on performance. The last man wins only if…he still has enough energy to be intimate with his spouse at a moment’s notice.

If the last man does win, he can play the game over and over and over again for the next 18-25 years eventually earning the right To be called Mother!
