10 Sep 2009 day of neurocysticercosis

On 10 Sep 2009 was the worst experience I had with the disease called neurocysticercosis. Neurocysticercosis is a most common disease in the world now as mentioned on wikipedia.com and it is curable . I come to know form the small research done by me that parasite are transfered into our body from the under-cooked pork food or fecally-contaminated water . Here is the lifecycle of the parasite which completes from a pig to human.

On 10 sep 2009, I woke and the attack was started. But I don’t know it was a attack. I thought its a general yawning. It stopped after long period . Then I went to bathroom to brush my teeth. I was shocked to see that I was unable to hold my tooth brush in my right hand. Suddenly I was under attack by neurocysticercosis disease. After the attack I was unable to see and identify the thing and I taken to the hospital immediately.

Symptoms a day before, on 9 Sep 2009 I was not able to speak properly to my friends and a lot of pain was there in my head. I went to my home immediatly and went to sleep. I made a mistake that, I havn’t told my parents what happen to me few hours before.

On 7 Sep 2009, I had a lot of pain in my stomach and done vomiting. I havn’t took my medicine because I was feeling ok the very next day.

Now after 2 weeks of treatment, I was feeling a lot better but some times not able to speak properly. Doctor & others adviced me to take the medicine on time, before the attack could come back because of swelling in my brain.

This disease could be critical only if the cyst take birth and start eating your brain.

I really don’t know how Google will going to work on the most voted idea or may be Google is just a media used by world organization to know the people choice “what they want ?” Though its a good way to reach people and know their choice. Intel ready to acquire Wind River systems for Approximately $884 Million

Intel has made a smart move (investment) by acquiring Wind River Systems maker of software for embedded devices - think smartphones, other consumer electronics devices, in-car “info-tainment” systems, networking equipment and the likes- in a deal valued at approx. $884 million. Intel has set its strategies to introduce next gen automobile technology. So the move was necessary to fullfill the requirement meeting the objectives of the company . Additionally Intel will increase its presence in embedded systems and mobile handheld devices outside of traditional PC and servers. Wind River has more than 1,600 employees and operations in more than 15 countries, and last reported annual revenues of $359.7 million.

This Google is releasing the orkut mobile version for its user to do social networking while travelling. Now Google is all set to launch the downloadable mobile version of orkut.

Well in terms of technology its good, I would not like to do social network in busy schedules & on a small screen, actually it strain my eyes. If we look to the coming up of mini laptops of Dell , Hp & other. Its good to look at wide screen of 12 inch at least. These laptops are more comfortable to carry.

The Orkut mobile application is developed on java platform and can work on Blackberry BlackBerry, Nokia or any other J2ME-enabled mobile phones much like the existing Gmail app.

The good things of mobile version is that you can capture and directly upload your files on orkut album.

Secondly, It can work like your personal phonebook on mobile to call your friends when required to never forget them… & keep in touch.

Other feature are similar to other social network on mobile like mundu messening sharing and all blah blah.

To download the Orkut Mobile App. you may simple visit m.google.com/orkut from the mobile browsers like opera or standard version of your mobile phone though the site isn’t live yet.

Limit of showing results by Google

I was searching over the Google and got 3,070,000,000 total results. I tried to reach the last page of the total search engine results . But Got this at the end.

I thought there would more pages but found no Next link after hundred. Do Google stops displaying results after 100 ? Please comment or leave reference If someone realy now the anwser.

How well you can search on search engine like Google. Many users have excellent searching skill to find information in minimum rounds. Internet is the sea of information and finding information could become hard even from search engines. Though search engines have developed some niche query technique to find relevent information you are looking for, here some of the searching queries while searching on Google :

[site:url {Keyword}] Returns specific information from the url.

[site:.us {Keyword}] Returns specific domain search results like .us .ca .co.uk and more

Google Converting PDF to text

Converting your scanned PDF file into clean text format using Google crawler is possible. But the thre is not privacy to prevent them to be displayed in search engine results. Google crawls all find file like .doc, .txt , .pdf and more. Only if you havn’t set an restriction over the Google crawler. Many a times I found salary slips of employees get crawled by Google crawlers and displayed on Search engine results. But for those who wanted to convert the PDf files into text without any cost, is an excellent idea.

Though the crawling is not real time, just upload to a public domain and wait till the crawler comes crawl all your files. Google have an OCR terminal software installed on their server to extract all the PDF scanned information into text forI don’t know but Google must be crawling million of PDF files a day (inluding updates). Once all the file are being crawled. How you will find out your PDF files into text. Just go to Google search and type:

site:http://youdomainpath/username .pdf

Where you uploaded your file.

Note: The path should be crawled by Google. To get it crawled go to http://www.google.com/addurl

It will list all the PDF file under your host account.

Yahoo Search to Boss

Is Yahoo is trying to be in the market by introducing new search tools or renaming its Yahoo Search to Yahoo Boss.

Yahoo have introduced next level Search Engine service to its webmasters called Boss. As Yahoo mentions that it is more innovative. Well didn’t find any innovation into the Yahoo Boss. They are allow more flexibility to webmaster to custiomize the search engine as they wants, here the table show difference from Yahoo Search to boss:
