It's success is highly attributed to its marketing - as other types of these machines are a dime a dozen at weekend garage sales and at your local Goodwill.

So many women misunderstand, thinking this little - one-move, exercise machine will actually work magic on their butt, hips, thighs and legs - but here's the inside scoop and the real answer to this question I get asked a lot:

"Does the Leg Magic machine really work?"

ANSWER: "Not too sure of that!"

Here's what the leg Magic does...

The Leg Magic might ONLY strengthen the inner thigh area, and cost some of your money and time.

It was tested by a panel of out of shape women who were first very impressed by the infomercial and company generated reviews.

After testing the Leg Magic. The majority of these women said they would not buy it - they just couldn't see how this little back and forth motion could change anything on their body.

The Leg Magic 'exercise plan' that comes with it is not a total exercise plan. It's a bonus that is added to the deal to make it more enticing for the viewer to place her order.

For a stiff $180 - it's a questionable spend of your of money.

There is a lot of hard to interpret info in the infomercial - and its intended to increase sales of the Leg Magic machine. To see and read recent comments about the Leg Magic just search on 'leg magic review' in Google or Yahoo.

One thing the women of this world don't need is another gadget that may not work and deliver the promised benefits. So be sure to test it before you buy it.

In her quest to recapture her youth beauty and sex appeal - the typical woman is desperately seeking a magic answer to her problems.

Instead of taking a chance on the Leg Magic - just follow a simple yet targeted routine with some things you already own, around your house.

If you have a soft mat or a thick blanket, a pantry step or staircase and an ottoman or cushioned chair - you have everything you need to get your nasty trouble spots and problem areas into firm, tight and sexy shape - no matter what kind of terrible condition your legs, butt, hips and thighs are in right now.

Article Source: http://www.bigfreearticles.com

The Leg Magic exercise gadget for womens' lower bodies is a 'deceptively' clever device. It's success is highly attributed to its marketing - as these gizmos are a dime a dozen at weekend garage sales and at your local Goodwill.

About the Author:
Joey Atlas, MS - Exercise Physiology, is the Author of the FREE, Fat Loss Diet Book, Confessions of a Former Yo-Yo Dieter, and the Author of the True Leg Magic Exercise Program for Women.

When it comes to teaching any subject matter to beginners, it can be much easier than you might think. Simply because beginners don't know anything about the subject or have any preconceived notions or past history of learning the subject, and whatever you teach them they learn it exactly as you teach it without polluting the teaching with their own preconceived ideas.

As you probably are quite aware, children are like little thirsty sponges that soak up information at an impressive rate. So, if you are going to be teaching magic tricks to a child or to many children you need to be prepared for all the questions that they can ask... and, believe me, kids can ask some doozies. Their honesty combined with their curiosity can be both difficult and endearing.

The first thing you will want to establish with kids is that you know what you are talking about. It is you that is the expert. You should do a few simple tricks yourself ending with the one you plan on teaching them how to do.

Depending upon the age of the child or the children, choose a magic trick to teach them that it is possible for them to do considering their height and the size of their hands.

On the other hand, if you are not a magician, don't pretend to be and just have some fun with some very simple tricks that you can do.

If you happen to be the parent (aunt, uncle, Godmother or Godfather, Grandmother or Grandfather) of a budding magician and he or she is begging and pleading for a magic kit, you can find some very good ones online (Illusionist is a good site) or at your local magic shop.

Learning magic tricks together with you child is great fun and a great way to spend time together. And once you get started... there's a good chance that both you and your child will get hooked!

When buying a magic kit for a child, do not choose one that says it is for kids from 4 to 104.

There are an abundance of magic tricks and kits that are geared for the age of the child. Also, if your child has been executing magic tricks and shows a real interest... their skill level may be above the recommended age anyway.

With a one size fits all magic kit, the kids wont be able to do but about half of the tricks in the kit. Their hands wont be big enough.

Also, it's a good idea to be certain that the instructions come with pictures or video.

Information about how to do the tricks in nothing but print are almost useless to children.

Once you find one that you like, you'll and your kids will be well on the way to hours of fun... and who knows... maybe a budding magician.

Article Source: http://www.bigfreearticles.com

When it comes to teaching any subject matter to beginners, it can be much easier than you might think Simply because beginners don't know anything about the subject or have any preconceived notions or past history of learning the subject, and whatever you teach them they learn it exactly as you teach it without polluting the teaching with their own preconceived ideas

About the Author:
For more information on magic tricks be sure to visit www.magic.web-sitings.com where you will find advice and tips on card tricks, coin tricks, magic spells, and how you can start dazzling your audiences.

So many men have asked me to share some secrets on how to attract a Romanian woman.

A long term relationship with a Romanian woman is a very rewarding experience (if you're with the right person) and will lead you to a level of satisfaction like you have never experienced before.

When selecting a Romanian woman for an LTR you should keep one thing in mind - BE PICKY!!! Settle for nothing less than the best.

The reality is that the hardest thing with Romanian women is to attract them and get them to trust you. So, there is no reason to spend time with women who aren't right for you.

There are some little tricks you have to know that will help you score like crazy.

1. Romanian women like to carry on an intelligent conversation with a man. Many find an interesting man sexy. You can show intelligence by being a good listener. Ask about her interests, her work, her hobbies, and pay attention to the details. This makes for good conversation.

2. Keeping promises is also important. If you say you are going to call, do so. If you say you are going to show up (even at an online date) at a certain time, do so. Don't make idle promises that you have no intention of keeping.

3. Send romantic SMS messages that are evocative. When said with the right mix of emotion and adoration, they are powerful enough to melt the stoniest of hearts. Also sending SMS will help you two to keep in touch and develop your relationship faster.

4. Also adding humor and flirting into the conversation can really spice things up. Women always remember someone who makes them laugh.

5. The most important thing in attracting a good Romanian lady is authenticity. You will attract compatible people when you show them who you really are. You don't want a woman to be attracted to someone you are not! Lying in the beginning only complicates things down the line.
The mysteries of the occult have interested men and women throughout history. Even the very name occult makes us think of ancient oracles, demons and ghosts. To solve and understand these mysteries, people have invented the occult sciences, which include astrology, divination, sorcery, demonology, necromancy, wizardry and many others. Those who have tampered with the occult in the past claim to have supernatural powers themselves, but usually this is nothing more than figments of there over charged imagination. Conjurers however, never claim they have powers they do not really have, but base their part on his or her perception, psychology, and hard practice. When practicing on stage, a conjurer is never opposed to a little trickery to enhance his presentation.

John Henry Anderson named himself the Great Wizard of the North in the early 1800’s. This famous Philippe usually appeared in a costume of an oriental wizard, who claimed he had powers of second sight, but even some of this can be traced directly to the use of magic. Bill Robinson used his skills to expose the frauds carried out by spiritualists, along with John Maskelyne, Harry Kellar, and Harry Houdini. Their targets were men like the Davenport brothers, who claimed to be spiritualists, but were nothing more that skilled conjurers.

Some of the most dramatic conjuring illusions ever presented on stage were inspired by eerie tales of the occult. Even today, the influences of the occult (reciting magic formulas, devil costumes, mysterious puff of smoke which leads to something vanishing) can be seen in contemporary conjuring acts.

The occult trick that follows has nothing to do with ancient black arts, but has been modified by masterful conjuring tricks. However, if you can master this and others like it, you will be spooking and fascinating people everywhere you go.

Devils black mark
You will need: a teaspoon and a cigarette

To prepare the trick: In advance, moisten the tip of your middle finger of your right hand. Dip the moistened tip into some cigarette ashes and shake off any excess. Hide the ashes that you used.

Perform the trick: Hold you hands naturally at your side and as for a volunteer from the audience. Ask to see her hands and pretend you are reading her palms. Then ask her to turn her palms down so you can examine the backs. Take a hold of their hands so your fingers are touching her palms. Gently press your middle finger onto her left palm to leave a black mark. Tell her you need her to move her hands apart further and bring them about six inches farther apart then let her hands and yours drop to your sides. Ask her to make tight fists with her hands. When she does point back and forth between both of her fists. If she tells you to stop at her left fist, tell her to lower her right. If she tells you to stop at her right fist, tell her to lower her right fist. Remind her to keep her hand tightly closed. Now ask an audience member who smokes to light the cigarette and flick some ashes onto your spoon. Step away from the volunteer, mutter some magic words, and blow the ashes of the spoon towards your volunteers fist. Tell her the devil has been to work on her and if she opens her fist she will have proof because the devils black mark will be in her palm.

Article Source: http://www.articleshine.com

Author Barney Garcia is a proud contributing author and enjoys writing about many different topics.

Close-up magic may be preferable for a beginner, although there are many aspects he needs to take care of in order to deal with the direct involvement of the spectators. However, whereas with close-up magic you need to pay attention to the physical nearness of your audience, with stage magic you have to find a way to deal with the attention of a rather large public set on you. Practically, in such circumstances, the magician has to face exposure of his actions coming from everywhere around here. A note here: the kind of magic tricks the performance of which we witness on television enters the category of stage magic. Therefore, what precise elements in the development of a magic performance could catch the eye and curiosity of such a large and diverse public?

First, a regular observation concerns the fact that audiences tend to develop an attraction to tricks made with some of the most common objects, objects that they encounter in their daily activities and to which they give no magic-related importance. For instance, it happens on a frequent basis that considerable numbers of spectators fall for a magic as simple as a coin trick is. People have to handle coins each day and, because of that, they tend to give more credit to a magician performing a coin trick. Their assumption is, in most of the cases, that magicians will not use coin gimmicks with such common objects. In addition, even if this does not apply exclusively to stage circumstances, magicians can make use of impromptus when deciding to perform a coin trick. Moreover, coin gimmicks are a rather regular piece of equipment accompanying a magician, even in impromptu conditions. The impromptu situation is, most of the times, just the impression of the spectator, whereas the magician has taken a long time and a lot of practice to manage so marvelously a coin trick.

However, beyond impromptu circumstances and coin gimmicks, stage magic frequently requires larger magic props, suitable for catching the attention of a large public. Of course, do not instantly assume that, since you are no longer dealing with close-up magic, you should no ask for the assistance of one (or more) of the members of the audience. On the contrary, in order to annihilate their suspicion, you need to draw one (or more) of them into your magic performance. Obviously, you also need to consider several points in the selection of your volunteers. Remember that in stage magic you have to remain in control of your performance as much as possible. Certainly, the introduction of someone exterior to the practice may interfere with your control. However, it does not have to be like that, insofar as you are careful about the spectator you choose.

For instance, during the magic performance, you can distribute items from your magic equipment to spectators. You will tell them that you need some help, without appearing to find it impossible to do the trick on your own. You will see that many people will volunteer. However, for the handling of smaller items, it is preferable that you choose from the public a woman. It is a spread fact that women tend to be less self-reliant during such public events. In addition, they will add grace and even efficiency to your stage magic. Moreover, you should choose women only for passive handling of one of your items. This means that they will simply hold an object you will hand them over from their seat, without having to make any specific moves. If you need someone to handle larger objects, then you should choose a man on whose face you can read the willingness to take part in the whole show. Indeed, it may happen that you select the wrong man, because many of them seem determined to unveil your secrets. However, you can counteract such potential attitudes by making that individual appear somehow hilarious, without making him feel too ridiculous. In the meantime, you can select another man, more suitable to offer you his help.

Pay attention to one detail. While you are selecting another person, do not make it obvious that the other one was bothering you. On the contrary, you must make it seem just another part of the program. In the end, all sorts of unforeseen situations can appear during stage magic performances. You need to stay alert permanently, without appearing too stresses about it, in any case. The secret of tricks performed in front of large audiences is in your manner of entertaining them, without turning it all into a circus show. Remember that you are not there to be a clown. You need to entertain them, but you need to do it in an enchanting, rather than ridiculous manner. This is why you are a magician.

Article Source: http://articlekarma.com

Close-up magic, such as a simple coin trick, may suit a beginner, but it is also appropriate in the hands of a “seasoned” magician. However, magicians who have already exercised a lot are ready to try their stage magic skills, without forgetting that catching the audience’s interest is one of the magician’s best allies in the control of the public.

Magic has been much a part of childhood. Remember how you used to be amazed of David Copperfield's magic on TV or even on a local magic show in a carnival or a children's party. No matter how old you get, magic will continue to amaze you. It is an unknown mystery that people are completely drawn to.

But if you are thinking of starting a career in magic, the best way is to start early. In case your not, its never to late to start but will take you a little harder. You can make your first step by buying your first magic trick box and learn the basic magic tricks from cards, coins to threads and other a little complicated magic tricks. Though this may sound so elementary for you, this is still the best introduction to magic you can find. The box, however, will not tell you how to act in front of an audience. You have to make your own efforts and initiatives. A good way to learn this is by watching magic shows and observe how the masters do their tricks in front of an audience.

If you have been doing your homework, then you will observe that the masters do the top 3 things while performing magic in front of an audience:

1. Do a nice patter - this means that you should put your act well by pulling some appropriate dialogue to perform your magic trick. Learn some jokes, ask your audience some questions and use a lot of hand movements. This will make them distracted but focused on you instead of finding out how you did the magic. A magic show can turn into a theatrical event if you want it to become one. This is not as easy as you think and you will not get by just a few practices and watching the masters do it.

You need a lot of effort, discipline and ability on your part and of course countless practice. To guide you in this trick you should remember and follow religiously two things: a) maintain eye contact with your spectator. Be sure that you have your spectators' attention only to you and listening to whatever you say; b) it pays if you have a sense of humor because it makes your audience feel relaxed and conditions them only to be caught off guard of what you have to perform.

2. The after effect - after wowing your audience with your act, let them continue their amazement with your trick, let them continuously react to your next tricks. Do not make them lose their attention to you and most importantly, do not say anything. If they asked you how you did that just remain quiet. Never pull the plug and give away your act or else all the mystery will fade away.

3. Be confident - Never perform in an audience if you know that you are not yet ready. Nervousness can easily give your trick away. A lot of practice breeds confidence. You need to convince your audience that not only your trick is magical but you as well.

If you master all these techniques, it will be much easier for you to win your audience - kids or adults. You can even go from up close magic to platform magic and stage magic like what Copperfield does but of course that requires a lot of experience and expertise plus a lot of help from cameras.

The key to being a master magician is to learn how to perform magic in an instant using a lot of borrowed objects. Magic is just a quarter of your trick but how you do your trick is the most important. Your presentation in front of an audience is the key not some spectacular, complicated magic.
More help is on your way if you know where to find it Check out some magic shops nearby your area. Make a list of the tricks you wanted to learn and bring them to the shop. Ask the owner to perform some on your list, teach you how and try it in front of him. Practice them in front of mirror as soon as you go home. You will be amazed at how fast you can do all these tricks.

If you think you are ready for an audience, organize and host a party and perform your magic for free. If your confident enough, there is a lot of possibility that some will ask you to perform in an event or another party, be ready to market yourself and hand out business cards.

Now, that is how you get started in the field of magic.
Article Source: http://www.articlenorth.com

<font="2"> </font="2">

Lee Dobbins writes for magic.biz-review.com where you can learn more about magic.

Their performances have renewed interest in magic tricks and they regularly draw huge crowds to their shows.

If you want to be a master magician, there are simple magic tricks you can do at home. In this article, we'll show you a few techniques that will help you astound your audience.

For the "Film Prediction" trick, ask several people to each name a movie and you write each of the titles on sperate slips of paper. Fold the pieces of paper and throw them into a container. After writing down the titles, you write the name of one of the films on a final slip and show it to everyone.

Have a volunteer reach into the container, randomly select a piece of paper and read it aloud. It will be the movie you predicted. How is this possible? When the first volunteer names a movie, say "Pirates Of The Caribbean", write it down.

When the other volunteers name a movie, you continue to write "Pirates Of The Caribbean" on each slip of paper. This is the secret. Just be casual about it make sure no one sees what you're writing!

One of the easiest magic tricks to perform is called "Cold As Ice". This takes a little preparation but is very simple to do. Pour some water into a cup and whisper magical words. When you turn over the cup, all that comes out is a chunk of ice!

The secret is the cup contains a sponge that absorbs the water and prevents the water from spilling out. The ice is already on top of the sponge and simply falls out. Beforehand, stuff the sponge into the mug and make sure that it rests on the bottom.

Place the ice on top and you're ready to go. Before you perform the trick, you'll have to experiment with the amount of water to pour into the mug. The more water that you pour in, the more impressive the trick will be, but beware, if you pour too much water into the cup the sponge won't be able to absorb it all.

These are simple magic tricks but there are a few things that can make your act seem like it came straight from a magical world! Remember that a magician never shares his secrets.

Resist the temptation to reveal how the trick worked and never do the same trick more than once for the same audience. It makes it too easy for the audience to guess how it was done.

Wherever you can, borrow the objects from the audience. Borrowing from the audience makes it seem like the magician hasn't had time to do anything sneaky to the item.

Creating the magical aura of illusions can make you a hit at any gathering but it's important that you practice your magic tricks first. Never do a trick in front of an audience unless you are thoroughly familiar with the routine.

It's also important to be lively and enthusiastic while you're performing. Your excitement will be contagious and your audience will enjoy themselves as well as being impressed with your amazing skills.

Author Resource:- Would you like to magically fool someone ?

My advice is, if you don't already do SOME kind of sponge magic you are NUTS! Almost nothing is stronger than when people open their hand and those extra sponges appear. It always takes them "right back to wonder."

I worked with classic red balls for years, but I got sick and tired of playing hide and seek with them when they rolled off the table. I also got sick of the clown nose comments. This is why I further developed sponge magic.

I have spent many years developing material (plenty of classic sleights and several different routines) but the handling I do most often is a quick "Miser Dream." I slip my hands into my back pockets, grab the jumbo earplug in the left hand and one of the small earplugs into my right. Then I quickly pretend to "find" several earplugs on other people's elbows, ears, etc- and each time I pretend to put in into my left hand, but of course just hold out the same one earplug in my right.

To finish, I produce the earplug from my own ear (or wherever) and jam "everything" that is in my left hand into a spectator's hand. I just tap the back of their hand with the one small earplug and just stand back and SAY NOTHING - the longer they wait, the more tension builds and when they open their hand - BOOM. Talk about feeling like a REAL magician!

This is also a great trick for serious hecklers. They make some dumb comment and I say something back. And then when they make another dumb comment (which they almost always do) I just say, "I don't think you're listening," and I pretend to spot something in their ear. Finally, I just say "Ohhhh, that explains it!" and pretend to pull the jumbo earplug out of their ear. Without saying a word I've been able to make the heckler the butt of a great magic sight gag, with all his friends busting a gut. It's clear sailing for the rest of the show!

There are other great magicians who have created effects with stuff OTHER than sponges. "Lazarus" is a wonderful bar effect where the classic "do as I" routine is performed with matches.

"Re:Cap" is a very fresh transposition between a borrowed coin and the CAP of a salt shaker standing at the end of a table. Magicians constantly floor folks with this stunning opener for years.

There are a lot of different things magicians can do with sponges. Look around for a sponge magic trick to work into your routine. You'll be pleasantly surprised by the reactions you get from your audience.

BlueWaterArticles.com: - Why Use Magic Tricks With Sponges

About the Author
Jay Sankey is a true magician's magician and is widely considered to be one of the most original thinkers and finest magic teachers alive today. That is why there are specific magic tricks that are made for children to perform. You, as the parent, can enjoy spending a lot of quality time teaching your children these wonderfully easy magic tricks that are for kids.

One of the oldest magic tricks in the book is "Find the Card". All you need is a normal 52 card deck for this trick to be successful. When it comes to the preparation of this trick you only need to make sure you see the bottom card of the deck. Only as an example we will just say that the bottom card is an ace of spades. Next, you should fan your cards out and ask someone from your audience to pick a card. Let your volunteer take the chosen card from the deck and that they should remember it. The next thing you need to do is take the deck and place it in the face down position on the table. Tell the volunteer to put their card on the top and cut the deck once. Then, tell them to take the bottom half of the now cut deck and place it on top of the other half deck. Then, you should grab all of the cards and fan them out to where you can see the faces of the cards. All you have to do is look for that Ace of Spades, or whatever card was on the bottom in the beginning of the trick. The card below your originally memorized card is the card the volunteer picked!

That is a very neat and simple trick that any kid can do. If you child is at all interested in being successful at more than a few tricks then the "Find the Card" trick is a necessity. The reason that magic trick for kids is important is because it teaches a key lesson with being able to memorize a card as well as follow a card. Anytime that you are told to memorize a card in order to perform a magic card trick, you should know that it is usually referred to as the "key card". Those two things are important to the world of magic and illusions and is a must for every magician to know. So the next time your children become bored, which is actually quite often, show them an easy little magic trick. They will surely enjoy showing it off to anyone and everyone!

Author Resource:- Michael is an expert magician who has been performing as a professional magician for more than 20 years. Pick up the cube and press your thumb firmly against the drawing. The mark will come off the sugar and show on your thumb. (As this is the secret of the trick, do it quickly so it will not be noticed.) Drop cube in glass of water.
Pick up your friend's hand and quickly press your thumb firmly against the palm of his hand as you are drawing his hand toward the glass.

Place his hand over the glass of water and tell him to keep it down firmly. Hit the glass a sharp tap with the pencil, saying, "I am now releasing the vibrations."

Then tell your friend to look at his hand. He will see the mark and will think it came through the water onto his hand!

Materials: Soft lead pencil, cube of sugar, three-quarters of a glass of water.

The Dollar Bill and bottle Trick

Can you remove a dollar bill from under a bottle without touching or upsetting the bottle?

Place the bottle upside down on the bill, either on a table or the bare floor. Roll up the bill carefully, touching only the edges of the bill so that your fingers do not come in contact with the bottle. As you roll the bill, the bottle will be pushed along until it is finally off the bill.

Materials: Dollar bill and pop bottle.

The Magician's Assistant

Can you remove a coin from under a cup without touching the cup?

Place one coin on a table, put the cup over the coin, and tell your friends that you are going to remove the coin without touching the cup.

With the second coin, which you have kept concealed in your hand, tap the table from the underside just under the cup, saying, "Here is that coin."

Naturally, your friend will then pick up the cup to see if the coin has disappeared. Now you quickly pick up the coin that was under the cup and say, "I told you I could pick it up without touching the cup." Your friend has unwittingly been a magician's assistant!

Materials: Two coins and a cup.

The Last Match

In this game, can you figure out how to make sure that your opponent always picks the last match?

Arrange fifteen matches side by side on a table. Tell one of your friends that you can always make him pick up the last match, each of you alternating in picking up one, two or three matches at a time. It doesn't matter who starts.

The secret of this trick is to make certain to leave five matches on the table for your opponent the third time around. Then, no matter how many matches he picks up, he will lose the game. For instance, if he picks up one, you take three, leaving the last one for him. Or if he picks up two, you take two. If he picks up three, you take one.

Kids magic tricks are normally really easy to learn and perform. If you are a beginning magician, kids magic tricks may be a great place to start because they don't require a lot of practice or preparation.

Tricks such as the Broken Pencil Trick, the Eggcup Trick, and the Vanishing Coin Trick are frequently part of magic kits sold to kids, and they're easy to do. Most kits include all the things you'll need to perform these tricks.

When it comes to kids magic tricks, you don't need to do a whole lot to prepare. The Empty Matchbox Trick, for example, can be done with little or no notice at all. You just need a couple of matchboxes (one filled, one empty) and a rubber band to do the trick.

The matchbox trick is easy. All you do is ask the audience how many matches they think are in the box. You shake it, and they hear the matches rattling. The trick is, you're holding the empty box while the full one is attached unseen to your arm; the audience hears the full one shaking.

The Wine into Water trick is another excellent kids magic trick. All you need is water, bleaching powder, and some red food coloring.

First, pour water into a glass and add some red food dye. This will make the water to appear like it is wine.

Add some bleaching powder to a separate glass. Now, dump the red "wine" into the other glass. Like magic, it turns clear! That's the magic of bleach. But if there's going to be any kids around, there needs to be strict adult supervision. Bleach is a dangerous chemical.

If you have a hard time finding a decent magic trick, it's easy enough to do kids magic tricks using only everyday items you find around the house. You just need a single pencil to perform the Rubber Pencil Trick.

You can make the pencil look rubbery if you hold it loosely near the tip and wobble it around. Kids love seeing these kinds of illusions.

Remember, kids magic tricks are fun not just for kids, but for adults too. If you're an adult who wants to pick up some magic tricks, it's a great idea to start trying the easy ones first.

When you master kids magic tricks and can comfortably do them in front of a crowd, you will have an easier time tackling some of the more difficult tricks.
Article Source: http://www.articlenorth.com

<font="2"> </font="2">

Visit how to do magic for even more free magic tricks and magic card tricks to amaze your friends and family

    Magic Shops Scam Magicians !
If these words sound harsh I say this for a reason. Many magic shops selling magic tricks via the internet scam aspiring magicians. Now I’m not saying every magic shop scams aspiring magicians but many do. Some companies selling magic tricks online do provide quality magic tricks .

In case you are wondering how to find a magic shop that sells quality magic tricks I will show you how to do this in this article. Here are a few simple but important rules. Remember cheaper is not always better. When purchasing magic tricks always purchase the best quality. It would be quite sad performing a magic trick then the trick fails. What if the secret becomes exposed this could ruin your show.

If you purchase quality magic tricks this will never happen. Many of these so called magic shops care nothing about magic. These online magic shops exist only to make large profits. This type of magic shop cares nothing about aspiring magicians. Do you thinks this type of magic shop will survive very long ? It will shock you to learn these magic shops don’t know which magic tricks are the best for performing onstage or off.

Why would someone sell magic tricks when they know nothing about magic or magicians. Lets say someone wants to make big money online. They decide magic tricks are hot so they find a supplier order products set prices then place the products online.

Then they see their competition has lower prices so they decide to lower their prices. Cutting the prices reduces the profit so they make less money. The magic shop decides to buy a lower quality of magic tricks. Now they start making more money but the quality has gone down. Who gets burned you guessed it the unsuspecting magician.

There was a time when a magic shop was owned by a real magician. One could go into the magic shop to buy magic tricks. This local magic shop sold to many professional magicians.

Those days are almost just about over. The local magic shop must pay rent and many other expenses. If they wish to stay in business the local magic must charge higher prices then the magic shop selling magic tricks online.

Because this magic shop has so much overhead it has a very hard time competing with a magic shop selling magic tricks online. Its hard competing with someone who has almost no overhead.

So follow these simple rules to avoid getting scammed.

1.Always ask if the website owner is a magician.

2.Has he/she ever performed in a magic show.

3.How long has the company been in business.

4.Buy one expensive trick and see how the quality is.

Pulling off with Basic Magic Tricks:
Performing bigger magical tricks will never be a child’s play but pulling off simpler ones for entertaining private audience or to just enjoy the fun is quite easy. It is to be clearly understood that the key factors required for performing any magic trick is practice and presentation. Most of these basic magic tricks are so simple to execute and are not foolproof. But carrying it out sans the suspicion of the onlookers totally depends on the craftsmanship of the performer. Knowing the exact procedure of the magic tricks and dedicated practice is essential as all these steps must be done quickly and professionally within the few moments when the audiences’ concentration is diverted. After finishing with the practice, it will be helpful to watch few professional magicians at work and note the way they grab the attention of the onlookers. According to many, this art of controlling the attention of the onlookers is more important than performing the trick itself. Chattering while doing the ‘magic’ will keep the audience held away from what the magician is doing. It is never common for professional magicians to reveal their secrets about the magic tricks they perform. But there are thousands of step-by-step procedures and videos for learning simple magic tricks.

Few Magic Tricks:

The Floating Ring Trick:

A good trick to impress the crowd but requires preparation and practice. Soak a 3 to 4 inch long string in a regular cup with very thick salt water for an hour or so. The preparation is completed and all one has to do is ask for a ring from the audience, preferably the light weight ones. Now comes the ‘trick’ part; tie the ring to the string with the audience watching it. Tell them you are going to burn the string and the ring will ‘magically’ continue to float in midair. The ring indeed free floats even after the string is burnt. This is because the string disappears after it is burnt and the salt crystals which are not much visible hold the ring. Awe the onlookers with this simple trick which does not require much hidden steps to be done for executing the magic trick. Trying it out many times prior to the actual performance will be a good practice.

Water to Ice Magic Trick:

Though this is very simple one, with neat presentation it is sure to receive rounds of applause from audiences. Inform the onlookers that you are going to pour water into a cup and will make ice cubes from it instantly. This needs the use of opaque cup with sponge placed at the bottom. Place few ice cubes in it either prior to the performance or carefully during the magic trick. All one has to do is flamboyantly pour water into the cup and the sponge will absorb the water completely. Thus be inverting the cups there will be ice cubes instead of water. Thus magic tricks can be done easily by the interested individuals.

About the Author: Dey Ette , the author of many articles regarding Various topics is working on randy charach and you can find randy charach here. Perhaps you've even seen a magician perform this incredible trick and wondered, "How the heck is he doing that?!" Well, hold onto your hat, because you're about to learn how.

First off, what is levitation? We all know what it looks like - the act of floating off or above the ground. It's sort of like flying. All the great magicians try to perfect this trick because it's one of the most simply visually arresting illusions in existence. And it's actually not that hard to do….

We practical magicians know that there is some trickery involved in levitation as a performance. However, there are those who believe in the real phenomenon of levitation as a form of psychokinesis, or the ability to move objects just with the power of the mind. The only people said to be able to perform levitation in reality are the spiritual elite, or those possessed by spiritual forces, like shamans, people in trances, or those possessed by a devil.

Now I don't know anyone who's actually seen a REAL levitation outside a magic performance, so take this for what you will….

I mean, you can sit on the floor and meditate and wait to "lift off," but unless you're really in possession of some special supernatural forces I don't think you're going to have too much luck!

What I am here to show you is how to perform the trick of levitation, to give your audience the impression that you are floating, or else causing some other object to float.

Levitation as a magic illusion has recently been practiced in the public sphere by such magic superstars as David Blaine and David Copperfield. There should be no hand wagging, no hand waving, jerky or quick motions. You should work naturally, deliberately, and slowly. If you master this, balls, coins, rings, cards, and coins will begin reappearing and disappearing at the tips of your fingers.

Watching your angles

You should be aware of your angles. Angles refer to the sleight lines between the item that you have just palmed off and the eye of your spectators. If you do not have the right angles, the audience could take a glimpse or see the object in your hand and your trick will be caught.

Practice your palming skills wherever you go

The most necessary skill of a man with a great sleight of hand is the ability or skill of palming an object that goes undetected. You could perfect this after some time of practicing palming small objects like coins in your everyday normal routine. You could palm a small object or item in both of your hands or either while writing, eating, watching TV, walking around, or doing other activities. If you practice care about the angles, no one would notice what you are doing, and after some time, what you are now doing self-consciously would later become almost natural to you. From then on, you could be able to palm objects or items more confidently, boldly, and successful each time.

Master your presentation

Practice your presentation. A small trick that is well presented could work wonders even without the most sophisticated of techniques since the audience would most likely relate to your trick or understand it.

What good is a magician if nobody understands or enjoys his or her tricks? The presentations therefore should be straightforward, simple, and understood easily so that your viewers or watchers could understand and enjoy the complete meaning of what you have been saying and doing.

Do not replicate a trick

Do not repeat the same trick for the same viewers or watchers. That is one of the basic rules in doing magic. When you repeat a trick, your audience would immediately know what you are going to do next. What may have been a miracle for you when you did your trick for the first time may not be quite satisfying or dazzling the next time around.

About The Author

Preston Houer has been involved with the art of illusion and slight of hand for over 30 years.
Magic card tricks have been one of the most common of illusions that many magicians use to enthrall and captivate audiences. Many people seem to be quite fascinated on how magicians try to work up a deck of cards and use it for doing a variety pf tricks such as guessing a hidden card, getting a mentioned card at will or making one disappear into thin air. But whatever card tricks that performer uses, it usually starts with the deck itself.

Contrary to what the audiences may think, the deck of cards that a performer is using is in no way ordinary. They are usually a special set of cards that are specifically prepared in order to perform a variety of tricks. This can be done in many various ways. If a performer makes use of ordinary cards, there are some techniques used to make them especially useful for magicians for their tricks.

What most magicians usually do to make their deck of cards "special" is by using marked cards. Card marking is actually a process in which seemingly ordinary playing cards are altered in such a way that only the person marking the cards is aware of it. Card marking is also usually being used by card sharks in cheating and profiting from betting card games.

In magic, card marking is an especially effective method of altering cards for the purpose of performing astonishing magic tricks. Marked cards can allow magicians to identify certain cards for magical effect. The most common card marking method has been punching holes on certain cards that only the performer can effectively distinguish. But card marking has also become more sophisticated with the use of advances in technology.

Newer methods of card marking make use of what is now called as shade technology. An example would be luminous marked cards. These are cards that make use of luminosity of the cards when a device such as a special pair of sunglasses or contact lens is used on them. Without the device, the cards may look like ordinary cards to onlookers. But with the sunglasses on, the cards can be seen differently along with the marks made on them.

There are also cards that are marked by the way that a deck of cards are designed. Some special cards may contain visible but tiny marks that can only be read by trained magicians who can read the tiny marks that double as codes. Sometimes marked card readers use eyeglasses in order to better read the tiny but unnoticeable to the untrained eye type of marks on the cards. These types of cards are usually designed so that the marked cards can be read from even a distance while another person may be holding them.

Marked cards outside the magic arena are used by some as a means to cheat at casinos or when gambling. In order to prevent this from happening, there are also other ways in which people can detect whether marked cards are being used. One of the most common ways of detecting them is by riffling or shuffling them. This method is commonly called as a gambler's riffle test.

It is simply done by riffling the cards carefully. If a deck of cards is marked, the marks will usually be noticed as if dancing from the back of the cards just like a cartoon drawn on each card back.

Ever seen David Blaine perform magic tricks? Most of these can be seen on television and you can do the same thing with the proper training. But how do you get started?

What you wear on the street is different from what you wear in a children’s party so don’t even think of wearing a tall black hat and suit. But still, you will need to wear a comfortable outfit and don’t forget to bring with you some tools for the trick.

To become a street magician, you must first learn some simple magic tricks. Ideally, these should have a lot of movement and color so that you will not only get the attention of a few people but a crowd. Some examples of those being used often include cards, coins, levitation and rings.

So you know nothing will go wrong, call a few friends over and perform in front of them. If the magic tricks go without any hitches, then good for you. Just keep practicing and do it also in front of others since this will help build your confidence. However, if there are some mistakes, be sure to fix it and don’t be afraid to get some feedback from them.

To be a good magician, you also have to a good entertainer. You achieve that by adding dialogue or a script to your act. Making people laugh and smile is a sign that you are amusing them. Once you have enough skill, you can get someone from the audience to help you perform the act so he or she can feel that they are part of the show.

Wearing a comfortable outfit is just a small part of the show. To draw a crowd, you have to select a place that has a lot of traffic as this will likely attract more attention. A good example could be near the subway station. Ideally, the area should be closed off to vehicular traffic. If there is a place where street magic is done regularly, find a spot there to put on your show.

The first act is the most important so make sure that it is very good so that others who walk by will stop and see what is going on. Make sure to make your voice loud yet clear so even people in the back can hear what you are saying. As mentioned before, get people from the audience to help you out because street magicians do not have any assistants whenever they perform a show.

When you are ending the act, don’t forget to ask for donations by putting a hat on the ground or carrying this around the crowd. Most people give a small contribution which is not bad for a few minutes of work. Don’t forget to thank them and try to come up with better tricks so there is always something different each time you go to your spot.

Performing magic tricks in the streets won’t help you make a fortune but it is a lot of fun. Who knows? You could get lucky and someone there in the audience could just give you that big break you were looking for or maybe hire you to do a small gig which will probably pay more than the dollars and pennies you find inside that hat.

You don’t need high tech props to perform magic tricks. If you look in your pocket or even in your kitchen, all the tools you are there. The only thing to do now is learn how to have fun with them.

The first is called the Everlasting Ash Trick. The objective here is to smoke the cigarette without letting any of the ash fall off. For this, you will need a cigarette and a paper clip.

Before you begin the trick, straighten the paper clip and carefully stick this down to the cigarette as close to the middle as possible. You have to be sure that no one sees the paper clip before performing this trick so that when you light it, no ash will fall off.

Another magic trick you can do with cigarettes is the Bending Cigarette Trick. Here, you tell people you can bend a cigarette stick without breaking it.

What you need for this trick is a cigarette, a lighter and a drink. Now, you dip one end of the cigarette to your drink so at least half a centimeter is wet. You then light the other side and take a big puff. After two seconds, you will be able to bend the cigarette without bending it.

You can win every time you try the Tricky Coin Toss regardless if the other person calls it head or tails. This is because you have another coin tucked under your ring finger so if ever they call heads; you just flip it over and then present this as the coin which you flipped in the air.

If you have some friends over for some beer, you can entertain them with the bottle cap trick. Here, you tell them that you can move the bottle cap up the side of the bottle until it is upside down by only using your forefinger until it reaches the top of the bottle and then back down again onto the table.

You perform this trick by pushing the bottle cap to the top of the table making sure that it sits there upside down. You gently roll the bottle top around until it is balanced on the edge so you can get your finger underneath it. To bring it down, you simply the bottle cap over and go the opposite way.

The glassblowing trick can be done with two straight pint glasses. Here, you tell your friends you can make the inner glass come out of the outer glass without touching either of the two glasses. This is accomplished by blowing very hard into the gap between the two glasses and within seconds, the inside glass will pop out.

The Egg trick is something you can do when everything you need is in the kitchen. You will need a shelled hard boiled egg, a box of matches, some paper and a beer bottle. When all of the materials are ready, you set this on the table.

The objective of this trick is to get the egg into the bottle. To do this, you take a piece of paper and set fire to it. Afterwards, you place the burning paper into the bottle. You now place the egg on top of the open bottle and within moments, see the egg get sucked into the bottle.

The magic tricks mentioned are very simple to do. With a little practice, you will be able to do this perfectly even with a larger audience.

Just to give you an idea, here are a few which will tell you what equipment you need and how to do it.

The first is called the sucking glass trick because you are trying to make beer go into the glass with touching the beer itself. For this you will need an ashtray, an empty pint glass, some beer, a box of matches and a coin.

When everything is ready, you pour a shallow layer of beer into the ashtray. You then place a coin in the middle of the beer, light a match and place it horizontally on the coin. You take the empty glass and place it over the coin and match and within seconds, a vacuum will cause the beer to be sucked into the glass.

A similar trick is called Push the Glass. Here, you push a small glass through the handle of a beer mug without touching both glasses. For this, you will need small glass, a beer mug and a straw.

Once you put everything on the table, you take the straw and stick it through the handle of the beer mug and push the small glass with it. This enables you to push the small glass through the handle without touching either of the two.

The next trick is called the Olive Bridge. Here, you make the olive leap over a hurdle and into a whisky glass. For this to work, you will need an olive, a brandy glass, three whisky tumblers and a straw.

You set it up by placing the olive on the bar and the brandy glass nearby. Put two whisky glasses upside down six inches apart from the olive with the straw between the two like a hurdle. The third whisky glass should be placed another 6 inches away from the hurdle but this one should be with the opening facing up.

Now put the brandy glass upside down and over the olive. Hold the base of the brandy glass and start twirling it around as this will create a centrifugal force that will cause the olive to rise and spin around. Keep working on it as you are moving this over to the hurdle. Once it is over the hurdle, stop twirling and then drop the olive in.

The next trick is called the corker. Here, you are trying to get the cork out of a bottle without breaking the glass. For this, you will need a silk scarf, an empty wine bottle and a cork.

You place the cork into the bottle and then grab a scarf by holding it in two diagonally opposite corners.
