I want a digital SLR and to add on to it I want an iMac. Whenever I'm not at work I find myself bored to death. Trying to waste my time doing something random. At the same time I really wanna stick to the JARS system. I learned it from the Millionaire Mind Intensive. Basically, every time you get paid or get some form of money, you split it into 6 accounts. Yes, I know that sounds ridiculously insane, but it works. Say you get paid $1000, this would be the increments you would split them into:

Necessities (food, rent, clothing -not random shopping money though, gas, you get the point)

-50% = $500

Financial Freedom Account (money to invest)

-10% = $100

Education Account (includes travelling and food expenses if its a seminar out of town or something)

-10% = $100

Long Term Savings for Spending (vacation, car, something big, in my case an iMac and SLR)

-10% = $100

Play (this one is awesome. money you blow. I could use this account too)

-10% = $100

Give (gifts, charity, church, any form of giving)

-10% = $100

It'd just be really nice if I could take all these pictures and upload them onto a Mac and edit them, then post them on a blog or something. It'll give me something to do! And thats my rant for tonight.

I gave it more thought, seriously? who cares? if you're reading this it's probably cause you want to know more about me and well guess what? This is who I am, and if you don't like it, well that's your problem.

So since the last time I've posted a lot of things have changed. I got really fed up and applied every where and got some help from my sis-in-law with the update of my resume. Got 3 interviews and got hired at American Eagle at Metrotown. The people there, well most of them are really young, in their teens, but they're all really nice. I've befriended most of them and so far it's going well.

Though it is kinda strange cause I've been there for a month now and they screwed up on my direct deposit twice so I technically haven't gotten paid yet. Plus it doesn't help when my own mother took my Visa away from me =( yet at the same time I think that it's all suppose to be a lesson in itself. What do I do when I have absolutely no money? Well.. life still goes on and it ain't the end of the world that's for sure.

I thought that once I got a job again, everything would go back to normal. Most things have it seems, but there's something missing still. More like.. A LOT that's missing. I don't really care about the weird hours I get at work, I think I just need something or a couple things I do on the side so that I feel as if I'm moving forward. Cause honestly. I'm freakin bored when I'm not at work. I've picked up playing the piano again but thats pretty much it. Gotta get a hobby that's cheap. hmm.

Doesn't mean we always are. Just right now in life, nothing really exciting seems to be going on. Anyways, from the last post, yes I felt kind of stranded by UBC without a wallet and no change to get home. But I am so happy and grateful to be rescued by daddy lol.

Kelly ended up going out to Coquitlam for the day and she's glad she came out. We went to White Spot for lunch, Daddy's treat. Thanks daddy =) Got my Sunday milk shake, which today I have named Milk Shake Sunday cause I always get milk shake after church on Sundays. The entire time we had a great conversation about other beings on our planet and becoming conscious.

Once we got home, we took the dogs out for a walk down by the river. Felt like a bit of an adventure as we went all the way up the river as much as we could. Walking on the empty river bed, I could feel the energy coming towards me as if water was still running through there. We actually didn't go that far because the spot we had to turn around was stopped by someone's private property that was really at the end of my street and the river is only a five min walk from two directions.

I guess no matter what there's always an adventure with a Mullen whether there's something or nothing that exciting going on in life or not.

We brought Zoe the dog out for a walk down to Jericho beach then got ready to leave for the evening. Our intention was to go down to 4th, grab a light dinner, window shop for a bit then go trance.

However, as I was sorting things out in my bag of what to bring just for the night I couldn't find my wallet. So I left the house with just enough change in my change purse to get me to the opposite side of town but not enough to get home the next morning. Great. Though I found this all to be quite interesting after having an entire conversation with Kelly about being broke and stuck and having no clue of what to do in life right now other than to get hired at a job. At this very moment I really had no money. No bank card, no credit card, nothing. But we did somehow manage to get ourselves down to 4th and Maple for trance that night. Interesting enough, after set up, the two of us ended up participating instead of spotting the dance.

At this point for those of you who don't know, whoever reads what I write anyways. Trance Dance is a Shamanic Journey for the Soul where we set an intention of what we want right now in life and dance through however long the dance may be, blind folded. It was a good journey that night.

Later on in the evening after trance dance. Trinity drove us home. Way to manifest Kelly! We hung out, made some yummy cookies and milk for dinner. lol. Then Trudy came in, scared me at first to be honest cause I felt something or someone starring at me. Plus she was wearing a red jacket! We were all at Mary's, while Mary wasn't there lol cause she's currently in Orlando visiting her grandkids.

So that evening was the coolist thing ever. Trinity channeled some answers for some questions we had to ask well.. I guess you could call them spirits. The main message they wanna give us to our physical world is to do whatever it is that makes YOU feel good. That's right people stop trying to please everyone, do what makes you happy.

It helped actually. There were rough patches here and there but overall I must say it was a really good month. I decided it was time to stop playing around for now and go for a job till whatever happens.

Attempt number 1: It was quite interesting what happened on the last week of September. I was prepping to leave the house to hand out some resumes at around 11, then grandma got me to do some chores before I leave. After some chores I realized I didn't print out any resumes yet, so I went to print some out and what do I find out? The printer is out of ink. So I took it as a sign that I wasn't suppose to leave the house that day to hand out resumes. That very night I went out to get some new ink so I could go the next day.

Attempt number 2: I got to the mall and handed out some resumes. Near the end of it all I get a text from the beautiful Veronica Buna asking if I wanted to head up to Whistler for the day since she was in town.

A spontaneous trip last min? Of course! So I skytrained/bussed it to downtown to meet the girls. Kelly took out a car rental, picked up Veronica's bestfriend Geny and headed up. On the way up I asked what we're gonna do. The reply? "I duno walk around Whistler just because" are we gonna stop by Whistler Bungee to visit the boys? YES! Because Geny has never jumped before and Ver wanted to jump again. Kelly and I? well we wanted to see how we felt about jumping this time since we jumped before.

At the end Mat at bungee convinced us to jump again. It all happened so perfectly too because we arrived while the boys were arriving for work that afternoon and we came before the first batch of people came in for their scheduled bungee appointments. After we jumped we hung out by the bottomless lake then headed back down to the car to have a snack before we headed up to Whistler. And of course because this day was so perfect the boys were leaving too. We invited them out for a drink when we headed up for Whistler since we're all gonna be in the area anyways. John said that he'd come out for a beer at 7 at the Amsterdam but no promises.

We walked around Whistler. Took a picture in front of the Olympic rings then walked into a store full of rocks and crystals that amused us. Then I asked, "Where are we meeting John?" Kelly turns around and says, "right here actually" and points at the Amsterdam. And who was right next to us standing there? John of course. We talked and talked. I think for a good 2 hours? It was freezing up at Whistler and I definitely wasn't prepared for that spontaneous last min trip but it was all worth it. And that pretty much sums it all up.

I asked mom to come along as well because I knew she hadn't seen Lori for a couple years. And Lori brought Suzanne out for dinner as well. It was really cool how we all know each other actually. I know Suzanne from Wizard camp and Lori from Warrior last summer when we both krewed it. Mom knows Suzanne from Life Directions, which is another course from peaks, and met Lori on the shuttle into Sunset Resorts in Malaysia when they krewed the first Warrior Malaysia together. So we all know each other, but this was the first time we were all together. I went up an extra day early to camp. The night before set up day Alex and I played beer pong! I think that one will be a tradition to keep. Probably the most awesome part of camp before the actual camp where the participants come in was the late nights of star gazing above the sea cans. During MOSHOG there was a meteor shower so it was perfect! Oh and most of us will never forget that one hugeeeee meteor that we saw enter the atmosphere, went from red to purple, watch it burn out and leave a chalk in the sky for literially 5 mins. And of course hearing everyone go OHHHHHHHHHH! and Andy repeating it for the next 10 mins. It was awesome lol.

I must say it's amazing to watch and hear the kind of things and questions people ask after their third or fourth camp with peaks. This camp was probably the one that I got the most process out of the three I've been at all summer. I'm still processing along with all the many other people who were at camp this

summer. There were a lot of learns for me in a lot of different ways. Things to do with l

eadership, communication, and asking for

help no matter what the situation is.

After camp was over, I stayed for clean up, and man was it a process. Who woulda known it had

to take 2 and a half days to sort out all the stuff, reorganize all the bins, put things in where they

make sense in the sea cans, and then label and count everything. The awesome outcome? The sea can is freakin so organized and everything is in a place that makes sense, which means next summer it'll be soooo much easier to find things in there! And that I am a big fan of.

For once in the last 3 summers I've spent with peaks, I gotta say, I was finally sick of camp and just ready to go home. It was definitely worth my entire summer though. So thank you to all those people who were there at camp!

We had an awesome krew as usual. It filled me up with warm fuzzy love that you really can't get any where else. The energy of the camp and the inside jokes on staff kept us all going even on days where we didn't get much sleep. Yes camp is lots and lots of fun, but we do so much work that on the last day we all just crash... and I think the picture says it all. It definitely didn't help that set up day for wizard was practically the next day at 8am after this picture. However those of us who stayed from warrior, warrior and wizard it out. I officially crashed at home for a week till I caught up on all my sleep. Then it was back to camp for more Mind of Steel Heart of Gold!

Oh and guess who won the draw for a free course with peaks? Yup thats right. I did! Then drove all the way down to Durango Colorado and spent a week with the James family. After that, we drove 13 hours to LA. Spent the first couple of nights with the Calvillos. Awesome Spanish family that have a beautiful home with a pool in their backyard! yahhh! We went to Huntington beach for a day to play in the ocean. Met up with Lori Bachleu the next day and went to Venice beach for another day at the ocean. It's where the dark dark tan started. Kinda happened unintentionally. My family isn't too happy that I'm so dark, but meh I'll be white again when winter rolls along. Finally, the last week of June was spent at Extreme Health. Felt like a family reunion. Saw the Mullen sisters, Tielman brothers, Daddy Dimples, and met lots of new cool people. The highlight of Extreme Health I must say was learning how to catch food with my mouth and playing Sardines on the first 10 floors of the hotel at midnight.

I think I learned what I needed to learn with that company.

My one and only brother who has been with his girlfriend for I think 8 years? are now married. The wedding I must say was a blast!

We started the day early at Dianna's doing hair and make up. Then all the

groomsmen came over, and if you're reading this and have not been to a traditional Asian wedding. The awesome part about an Asian wedding is that when the groomsmen comes over to pi

ck up the bride, they must pay up a sum of money that the bridesmaids demand. Usually it's some massive number like $888

888.00. Of course they can't pay up. So they must pass a test. A test that the bridesmaid created that involved seaweed passing with the mouth along the line of groomsmen and singing Backstreet Boys As Long As You Love Me while doing push ups before they're allowed to see the bride.

After the tea ceremony at the sis-in-law's, we were soon at the church for the ceremony where th

ey actually walk down the aisle. It was pretty and Father Scott was funny as usu

al. I'll never forget the part when Ben sneezes during his vows lol.

It was then followed by group photos of everyone who showed up for the ceremony. From the Tseng family to Voo family to Burnaby friends to Coquitlam friends to SFU friends.

In the afternoon, was one of the best parts of the day. The wedding party all went out to take photos. And I must say it was a lot of fun.

Dinner was awesome. Saw lots and lots of family that I haven't seen in a while. A lot of "when is it going to be your turn?" questions and "Wow! You're all grown up! I wouldn't of recognized you if I saw you on the streets!".

Oh the funny part of dinner was when Dianna threw her bouquet and Pansey caught it for the second time at a wedding. Then, get this! Her boyfriend, Felix we made come up to the front when Ben threw the garter and it lands right into Felix's hands without him even moving it.

Yup and that pretty much sums up Ben's Wedding.

It was quite an interesting trip that week actually. We took the first skytrain out to the YVR airport Monday morning. It took the whole day to get to Miami actually, and but the time we got there, I couldn't believe that I was there.

The next day we went to eat at LeTub. Gawd their burgers are hugeeee. I can understand why Oprah recommended the place. Their stuff was extremely delious. Then we went to the beach for a couple of hours. Wow I've never seen a beach that was so windy with such big waves that pushed people over as the tide came in.

The last day there, I was hanging out on the balcony and watched the kids play down below, as there was a school on the bottom floor. One class were doing relays, and one of the things they were told to do were to do the wheelbarrel. One pair got all the way to the other side, most of them struggled, especially one pair of kids. The one holding their partner's legs wasn't strong enough to hold it, and the one walking with her hands kept wiggling everywhere making her partner have a harder time. Plus it looked like she didn't trust her partner enough to hold her up the whole way. So as all the kids finished, they were only half way to the end line before they could run back. However, I noticed how all the kids waiting for them to come back all went to help them out. It took them 6 kids to carry the poor girl on her hands all the way to the finish line. But I liked how it was like an analogy of life. How very few people finish faster, majority of people finish around the same time as long as they keep going, and those who are a tad slower but don't give up and also let people help them will finish as well.

Later I saw a group of kids playing basketball with the rubber balls and got one stuck in the hoop cause it was small enough to get through the ring but not small enough to get through the net. All the kids tried throwing other balls at the ball stuck inside to get it out the other way, but they kept failing. One girl even tried climbing the pole, she didn't get very far lol. After trying to go at it for about 15 mins, one kid took a smaller ball, looked up at the ball that was stuck from underneath, aimed and then threw the ball up with all hit got. Guess what happened? He got it out! Just like the last group of kids, don't give up and keep going, and you'll acheive what it is you want to get.

In the afternoon, Kevin and I went out to the gym so that he could get his ass kicked by an awesome trainer named Larry Ray. I must say, Larry fits into the small catagory of people I've met in my life that has a smile as bright as the sun and a heart that's so kind, it gives you that warm fuzzy feeling inside.

After that we went for a drive around town to see all the houses and buildings of Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and South beach. I've never seen houses so big in my life. Plus there was one section where all the houses had a canel in their backyard so they could drive their boats in. There I learned many things about myself and why I do things a certain way.

Everytime my family would drop off or pick up my grandma from the airport, any chance I could get, I would go along for the ride. It wasn't until the last time we dropped her off at the airport that my mom asked me why is it that every time we go to the airport, I would come along for the ride, even if I didn't go with grandma. I remember telling her how the feeling of being at the airport is just this warm excitement that comes over me of that curiousity of an unknown adventure. At Sacred Gifts, I learned that this is because of something that I was born with where I have that need to travel. It's also why I can get along with so many people from all different cultures and backgrounds.

Last summer, I wanted to go volunteer at all the camps in Squamish for Peak Potentials. However, my family thought I was crazy for wanting to do all three because I don't even get paid for it. I told them I didn't care and I just want to go, it's just this feeling inside of me that I get when I go to camp to give back. They just didn't understand. I was beginning to wonder if there was something wrong with me. But no, there was absolutely nothing wrong with me at all. It was simplely another thing I was born with where I have that need to give back.

The weekend ended with a dinner with a couple of new and old friends from Peak Potentials. I absolutely love these people. Every time I hang out with them, my heart just goes warm and fuzzy.

Later on in the evening, Santa showed up! He went around the house and threw tinsels everywhere. Then he gave everyone presents and told us a story. I must say, each gift was quite uniquely hand made. I got a little tea cup, and I must say, probably the most thoughtful Christmas gift I've ever received.

This year definitely feels different. When I went down to Palm Desert, I noticed how there were evergreen trees with ornaments all over them. Yes, they were pretty and all, but something didn't seem right. It looked so out of place. I'm in the middle of a desert and there's evergreen trees? That's kind of weird. And so I thought, how materialistic everything has become during Christmas. Yes, I'm sure we've all heard of it before, how Christmas is about being with your family, not about the gifts. You see, I'm the Christmas decorator in the my family. Each year, the first week of December, I'll put up the tree and on the same day there would be presents put underneath it. But this year, it's December 10th, and my tree still isn't up yet.

It makes me wonder if maybe my Christmas spirit is slowly fading, part of my growing up? However, I'm glad we had our peaks party. It made me feel like I'm home again, like when I was a kid. I sat on Santa's lap and we used crayons and did some colouring too! It was a picture of Who-ville =)

From that day on, we learn that we can set things aside and leave it for "tomorrow". It becomes such a habit for all of us, including me, that we learn to procrastinate.

Instead of getting something done today, right now, we'll leave it for tomorrow. When tomorrow comes along, we'll say we'll do it tomorrow. This trend just keeps on going, and we just end up not getting it done. Or, we'll leave it to the last minute, when it's almost too late sometimes, then we get upset about it, wondering why we didn't get it done earlier.

Currently, I'm suppose to be "studying" for my final tomorrow, but I'm constantly on Facebook and blogger. I was just browsing around on Facebook, reading the live feed from my home page. Looking around, I found out that we all set ourselves up for failure. I see how people are complaining, "fuck my fucking life, I got three finals tomorrow". And it's always the same thing around the same time at different periods during the year. Question is, why don't we learn from it, and fix it so that it doesn't happen again next time? Wouldn't it make our lives just that much easier?

It was held at the Hyatt Grand Champion Resort & Spa in Palm Desert.
