Confused?….Let me put some clarity in it.

If the this week hasn’t confused the heck out of you, well here I am to put a little information in the back of your head.

It seems the specter of bad Bigfoot research is back at his games again on several fronts.

So much for Biscardi, et al, being “non-issue,” as one occasional critic, put it. Of course I’m much the wiser.

So let’s recap the events of the last week. Biscardi, while having on folks, I’ve only been reporting here for months, that were his shills, Lyday (Lindsay) and Stubstad, on his radio show, offered up the “Sierra Kills” shooter, Justin Smeja, $50K aka “Fifty Large,” for his “Bigfoot Steak.”

Smeja, was apparently looking for $10K, and some reports have him seriously considering Biscardi’s offer. We seriously hope not.

Biscardi stated he would keep the money in an “escrow” account until, DNA comes back reporting it is a Bigfoot. I can understand the escrow part, because Biscardi the last time Biscardi forked over $50K, he had a Squatchdetective to ruin his plans with his conspirators, Dyer and Whitton.

Some folks would defend him, and say, “See he learned.” I say this, he didn’t learn anything, he was partners with Whitton and Dyer, he’s not partners with Smeja.

As for Biscardi paying people for items, lets remember him reneging on a deal he made with “Cameron,” the juvenile tyrannosaur fossil.

The contract between the Blackfeet Nation and Tom Biscardi, in which Biscardi agreed to purchase a fossil for $5 million.

To me this is overwhelming proof that Biscardi, et al, is trying to trump, and get to the headlines before Ketchum’s Report does, which is reportedly undergoing scientific journal review, and the alleged reason as to why the release of information regarding the paper has not come forth yet. However that is an entirely separate topic.

After all, let’s go back to the SFBI business plan, “If someone discovered Bigfoot before SFBI, it would cause a loss in faith in expert abilities.”

For the motive behind Biscardi’s attempt to undermine the Ketchum Paper, we look to page 17 of the SFBI business plan.

Being Bullies

Two months ago, we reported that Tim Fasano, was behind the Bigfoot Buster Blog, which he eventually admitted to, and was fed information on that blog using information, directly fed to him by Biscardi.

Early last month, we reported here that, we had started receiving correspondence from a Tom Lyday, claiming to be a long time friend of who we then thought to be Robert Lindsay. As it turned out, it was the brother of Lindsay, whom we exposed to be really Robert Lyday. Then came a series of threats to remove said posts about the Lydays, past and present. Sorry we don’t cave to bullies.

This ties, now directly into yet another story reported here on the blog, when we reported John L. Johnsen stating, that in his six years of dealing with Bigfoot researchers, he has dealt with nothing but “opportunists and hoaxers.” We squarely laid the blame to that on Johnsen’s own feet by the company he kept if that’s the way he felt.

Last night I received a very terse, although it did say please twice, message from Johnsen, to remove the post about him . Again, I refused, because hypocrisy, especially when you insult Bigfoot research, and more importantly, the witnesses, needs to be revealed.

There was another quote about me continuing the drama. Well I wasn’t the one who made those blanket statements, Johnsen was. And frankly, the article is about three months old now. The only one continuing the drama is Johnsen. But if he wants to continue the drama, well here you go. Sorry John, you don’t get a pass.

As it turns out, Johnsen, who claims that, he has dealt only with “opportunists and hoaxers,” has to decided to be another person on the Biscardi payroll, by his own admission, and began to work for Biscardi, on Bigfoot Lives III or whatever project they decide to call it.

It was quite evident, that Johnsen, was towing the Biscardi party line. With making such claims as me needing Biscardi, and him to maintain my popularity, and that Biscardi is the complete opposite of what people told him he was like.

So Johnsen, for the price of an award, and some cash, decided to deal with the biggest of what he claims to despise, and sell his integrity down the line. Johnsen states after he has completed his work with Biscardi, he is departing the field of Cryptozoology filming.

Let’s hope so, as he has become the latest to be a Biscardi apologist and frankly, a man that is willing to let a paycheck or an award compromise his integrity.

Just seven month ago, when talking about the Vermont Trail cam picture, Johnsen had contacted me and wrote this exchange,

“But whatever you do, don’t send it to Biscardi. No, better yet if it turns out to be a hoax, by all means send it to Biscardi.” – J.L. Johnsen, April 7th, 2011

Johnsen has proven by his statements and now his actions, he is no friend to the Bigfoot community or in the truth.

Robert (Lindsay) Lyday Speaks and a look at internet harassment.

I’m poison according to Robert Lyday,

“On to Steve Kulls. Steve Kulls is a prototypical Bigfoot kook of the type that is notorious in the business. Java Bob says, “Steve Kulls is one of the two worst people in Bigfootery.” He is hated by almost everyone in the business and has almost no friends or allies.

He runs a site called Squatchdetective where he sets himself up as the authority on all things Bigfoot. All he does on this site is tear down everyone else in the business. He specializes in the the politics of personal destruction, digging up all sorts of personal information, compromising photos, damaging emails, etc. from those he is out to destroy….

Stubstad and I ran afoul of this clown for no apparent reason other than breaking some news about Ketchum’s DNA project. He feels that Tom Biscardi was using Stubstad to use me to trash Ketchum’s DNA project. This is conspiracy politics of the worst sort. Stubstad has no relationship with Biscardi…”

Well Mr. Lyday first lets look at of few of your points. I think your view is a little skewed, see I’m not hated by almost everyone, Biscardi is. And as for his little puppet JavaBob, should we expect any less of a statement?

And what a ringing endorsement of your acumen Robert, coming from JavaBob, the mouthpiece of the biggest hoaxer in Bigfootery for many years and still is his associate. Oh and isn’t JB an associate of Stubstad as well. (Science Alive LLC..remember that?)

Speaking of getting facts straight, you say Stubstad has no connection with Biscardi? Yet Stubstad admitted to paying for Biscardi’s DNA submissions? Plus he’s business partners with JB. And appeared on Biscardi’s radio show? Hmm. Sounds like the fact checkers aren’t doing their home work at the "Robert Lindsay” Lyday blog.

And let’s see Robert, Wasn’t it Biscardi whom released private emails to the public indirectly in an attempt to destroy someone? That wasn’t me.

But as a caveat, when someone swings on me, I don’t back down and I play to win. (So sorry to the woman who wants to have sex with Bigfoot, that thought I would back down, who stated that in his comments section all in one post.)

Compromising photo’s? I know the ONE you’re talking about. Well that one was in the public per view. Had it been sent from a private source, I wouldn’t have used it. That’s the rules I play by. If it is self posted and on the internet it’s fair game. Its not like that picture was posted by someone else.

I’m not out to destroy anyone, and if people speak the truth, then I’m down with that. If you’re a hoaxer, look out.

Let’s look at your own truths here Robert,

Old friend? Robert, stop lying. That old friend, is your brother, who you live with, and I found this on your “public” Flickr site:

Bombarded? Yep that’s harassment, 26 emails in a thirty minute time period.

The first complaint went unheeded, then came another email with a threat…

“…I know about your work with children- which is a common way for pedophiles to gain access to their prey...interesting. Did your wife … leave you yet over this- or over the Bigfoot obsession? Maybe I'll give her a call- I have her phone number..

Anytime you want to take down the libelous comments on your blog that no one reads.... sooner the better.”

A complaint has already been lodged and acted upon by Tom’s email provider.

I hope a lawyer does get involved, because the counter suit would be a wonderful opportunity to show those wonder emails and threats to someone in a black robe.

They’re still trying to harass me, but things have been pretty much clamped down. And my next move will be to the authorities if need be.

But you see the real problems in the Bigfoot community, is people like you Robert. You can’t play nice with others. You name call, because in truth, you’re the narcissist and arrogant, not I.

But you see a lot of people know me Lyday. And it must hurt you so terribly to see, that I am really liked by lots. Trust me I have no lack of friends or a social life. Why?

I listen to them, and show them respect, and listen to their ideas, and keep an open mind and change my own ideas and beliefs if the argument is pervasive enough.

And I am no expert or be all end all.

When people want to go into the field with me, it is my honor to take them. It is my honor to pass what little knowledge I do have to people.

I’m not out to solve anything either, just here to help the cause.

And frankly I don’t want someone who justifies looking at 14 and 15 years old girls in a sexual way, (in your own words) but prefers them “16 and older",” to like me at all.

People wanting to know where some of this stems from, read my original expose on Mr. Lyday (at the time we were happy just to call him “Mr. Lindsay,” his pseudonym.)

A month after the article was written, they began the harassment. But you see, every time they act, they make a mistake. So that’s why I am not backing down, for their words, and actions are not based in any fact and are certainly more inflammatory than anything I have written.

They are both acting like pathetic spoiled brats, name calling, acting out via electronic harassment and now telephonic harassment.

Anyway, I’m done looking with the Robert “Lie Day” Lyday (Lindsay) blog. I read it, I feel like I need to take a shower, or a HazMat decontamination.

I do not like writing negative articles. So back to the positive and forgetting Lyday even exists, as should we all.

Loch Ness: Debunking the Richard Preston photos

On the Nat Geo program, The Truth Behind: The Loch Ness Monster, off camera I had an opportunity to look at the Richard Preston Loch Ness photo.

The program expert, at the end of the show, proclaimed it was possibly three boats tied together, not a reflection, in the water.

The picture was taken from the grounds of the Aldourie Castle, located South of Inverness, Scotland on the east side of the Loch.

The problem I had was that the buildings adjacent to the castle across the Loch, had roofs made of copper. And this was prone to reflecting in the waters of Loch Ness, exactly within the viewing area of the Loch.

Two days after Mr. Preston, had delivered his photo’s to the producers of the program, I came up with a series of pictures showing a similar form on the Loch. The pictures were taken from the first floor pantry of the Aldourie Castle, where myself and the crew were staying. I noted that the pictures I took with my own camera phone (a Samsung Android) was similar in color to that taken by Preston (taken on his I-Phone).

To me, it was very clear this was a reflection, not boats tied together, nor Nessie.

Birds too, to the casual observer may be misidentified as the LNM.

Another possible misidentification that occurs on the Loch are birds. This definitely was not birds, as I had actually walked down to the Loch, as Preston claimed he did, and clearly saw pulsation, not of a living biological, but rather the ebb and flow of the water effecting the reflection. It was clearly a reflection, which myself puts doubt into Preston’s account, unless he was too over excited to see that what he was looking at, really was not “Nessie” at all.

It was nearly 9 months ago when I traveled to the lovely Highlands of Scotland, to shoot the hour long documentary.

Hats off, I stayed at the magnificent Aldourie Castle during my stay and was treated to five star cuisine every night.

The castle itself was unbelievable, and I never thought I’d ever have the chance to stay in such comfort and opulence.

Of course the shoot was no cake walk, as often the temperature around the Loch fluctuates quicker than the stock market has here in the states.

Long hours, often having the wind whipping in your face, meticulously shooting scenes…but it was all very much worth it, and we enjoyed every evening a snifter of the finest single malt scotch, and a game of snooker.

For a Yank, I managed to remain undefeated with my partner in snooker.

But despite all of it the film crew, director, producers, and the production company, put together a fine documentary and gave me one of the greatest experiences of my live.

Robert Lindsay is a pseudonym…

Yes folks, a little inspiration from the Bigfoot Field Reporter and a quick fact check reveals that Robert Lindsay is actually a man by the name of Robert Lyday.

He lives with (most likely) brother Tom…who sent me the email blogged about earlier, acting to be a friend rather than a family member. That’s why he’s known Robert for over 35 years. Robert is aged 54 and his brother is 48. I stated in the earlier blog,

“Does this person looks like, aside from his parents, he could know anyone for 35 years?”

Whoops..my mistake…could have been another family member as well.

With that email, we were able to trace the true identity of the man who sent it, and ergo led us directly to “Robert Lindsay.”

With that we checked if there were any reasons why Robert Lyday would use the pseudonym, “Robert Lindsay,” and found no real reason except to hide his true identity, perhaps to avoid backlash from his racial, religious, political and sexual overtones.

We tracked this down and found Tom’s information in a public place, (on MySpace), and since the original posting of this information, his MySpace account has been deleted.

Okay…NOW back to our regularly scheduled program!

What’s in the mailbox?

Tonight I received an email from one Tom (last name withheld) whom claimed to know blogger Robert Lindsay for 35 years.

“Mr. Kulls,

    This is in reference to your blog post regarding Robert Lindsay, another blogger. First, let me politely point out that you couldn't be more wrong about Lindsay. He's not a racist (his co-blogger is a black woman) and he's not an anti-Semite (his girlfriend is Jewish) and he's no Commie- just a big liberal. He's also not a pedophile- (legally, Steve, that is slander let me remind you- you would be advised to remove it). How do I know?- I 've known him personally for 35 plus years. He is irreverent, non- P.C., out to shock, and not for the weak of heart or stomach to read. If you don't like what he says about other subjects- don't read his blog.

            If the subject of Bigfoot and Ketchum, etc. is where you two disagree, just keep it to that. Why do you have to get ad hominem and attack the messenger just because you don't like what they say about a mythical creature that may well not even exist? Personally attacking someone, anyone in this way is ridiculous- Lindsay is not a scientist or expert at Bigfoot- he's just a writer who is half-serious, half comedic at times.

           You say you are non-P.C.? But you don't like any thing that smacks of racism, or sexism? What? Tell when I can stop laughing. If you are right-wing Tea Party type- good for you, but there is no need to character assisinate those that you disagree with. Would you like it if they did it to you?

My response to the letter was straight to the point…

“I guess we'll have to disagree.

I'm not politically correct absolutely, but being not PC does not mean being ignorant, insulting and a racist, which Lindsay is most certainly acting the part. What he says was not in the spirit of parody or comedy, what he said was hurtful and hateful.

He was not writing humor, when he insulted African Americans, or Arabs, or Israel, using a term in which mujihads and white supremist groups call Israeli's, (Zionists) he was writing out of his own ethnocentric beliefs.

As far as the pedophile comment, it is derived from Lindsay's own blog. Let me remind you, I've been writing a long time, and further more my blog is OPINION. Which just happens to have facts to back such opinions up.

The International Classification of Diseases (ICD) defines pedophilia as a "disorder of adult personality and behavior" in which there is a sexual preference for children of prepubertal or early pubertal age.

I do believe that hanging out in a coffee shop regularly, as Mr. Lindsay stated he was, "checking out hotties (in his own verbiage) 14 years through adult," are covered in the medical definition as early pubertal age.

Therefore I based my decision, which I did ponder on for some time, in which I checked the definition to see if was an overreach, and to use that term solely based due to the medical definition, and was not used in a malicious manner but as a factual one. Therefore there was no tort.

To prove such a slander, and justify said legal action, Mr. Lindsay would also have to prove number one, malice, and number two by forensic accounting, to an economic loss as a direct result of the said comment.

Of course, when being called one thing in a blog is overshadowed by his above comments, and in another statement, where he had stated he was thrown out of said coffee shop, being accused of being a "molester," it would be hard for any jury or judge to see how the use of one word in my blog, which is backed by medical definition, can be more damaging by his own, more graphic statements, from his own blog.

But to show you my legal acumen in my craft, Mr. Lindsay could not pursue legal action for slander, because it was not a stated comment. It was a written one, which is libel. But the burden of proof for either is the same.

If you'd like to argue out journalistic morals, it was Mr. Lindsay being used by certain unwanted elements that have interdicted themselves in a certain research community, to smear and besmirch someone else. When you go to writing opinion, to writing facts, you open yourself up for scrutiny.

Mr. Lindsay stepped out of being just a mere commentator when he decided to attempt to become a spokesperson and entered the fray, by posting on a forum, which he was removed from for being disruptive, and going on talk radio, acting as an authoritative figure. This went much beyond what you may know as just his blog. He had stopped being, "just a messenger" when he chose to do that.

My job, was to point out to people whom were taking a look at his viewpoints in the matter seriously, that he was not at all an authoritative blogger, and a serious look at his credibility when stepping out of his blog realm and overreach on a topic he knows little about.

Mr. Lindsay has the right to blog about his opinion and on whatever topic he likes to write about. The problem is, sometimes his humor is often viewed as being serious. And if he is doing parody or spoofs, he should write a small disclaimer somewhere on the particular blog.

It would help dispel any doubt. As for now, I still cannot see differentiation on what he writes as parody, or fact. BTW, if you know Mr. Lindsay seriously, he readily admits to being a socialist in one of his more serious blogs, that's how read up I am.

I personally, have no gripe with him exercising his first amendment rights, and I could really care less about any of his further political, religious, racial and sexual diatribes.

Of course people don’t know, although they should by now, I check into things. Tom’s email returned to a social network site, which had this picture posted below as its profile picture.

Well does the picture look familiar to anyone? How about those that have looked at the picture of Robert Lindsay on his blog?

Wow….looks like the I see a pattern here. Same background, same lighting, same contrast setting, same distance from the camera and same camera angle.

I don’t take too kindly at an attempt to intimidate me, nor do I know any of the facts in which this person states in his email are true or not.

What I do know is that he knows Lindsay, obviously was a room mate of his, at least in October 2009 when this picture was posted on the particular social network. That part was left out in the email.

Does this person looks like, aside from his parents, he could know anyone for 35 years?

Your guess is as good as mine.

In a response to my original blog, Lindsay resorts to name calling, and a total lack of verbal control, getting the facts wrong and defending being attracted to underage girls.

“Apparently, I’m a pedophile because several years ago, I checked out some 14 year old girls in a store. To which I plead gloriously guilty. 14 year old girls are still kind of nice to look at, but I try not to get caught these days. If this is the charge, then I’m definitely a pedophile. But honestly, for looking, I like them 16+ please. 14′s a bit underdeveloped.”

Well from the looks of it, he has no defense of my statements of the previous blog, and actually reinforces the pedophile statement.

According to “Tom",” he was joking, writing parody, well, I think not!

Mr. Lindsay should call it quits when dealing with me, he appears to be quite outmatched.

Squatchdetective.com to release documentary

Squatchdetective.com in association with Tri-City NY Paranormal Society and Lovecraft productions is in the process of wrapping up filming it’s first full feature length documentary. It’s working title is currently under wraps, but will debut by Spring of 2012.

The film covers the 2011 expeditions, sighting reports and investigations of Squatchdetective.com and Tri-City NY Paranormal Society in New York in Vermont.

Steve Kulls had the following to say about the year,

“2011 was perhaps the busiest year I’ve had since being in Bigfoot research. Along with sighting reports, new evidence came along, and some evidence to corroborate older evidence, but the expeditions, were spectacularly productive.

Using a system of report classification, I’ve been developing for years was put to the test last year with a team in another state, with great success. This year with the help of the TCNYPS, we were able to put the system to the test in my backyard, and much to my relief and satisfaction, it produced evidence, not caught anywhere before.

Certainly not definitive proof but stuff that makes even the most ardent skeptic, go ‘huh?’

The tactics used this year were the first phase of three we’re implementing to gather both evidence and data. We’re actually working on a behavioral data chart, plotting their behavior versus what we’re doing. It’s surprisingly consistent.

Next year is phase two. Phase three is still under development. But we plan on a sequel documentary as well for phase two.” - Steve Kulls

The program aired earlier this month in the UK.

What a week it was!

Pennsylvania UFO/Bigfoot Conference

This week I had the honor to share the dais with Dr. Jeff Meldrum, Dr. Stan Friedman, Eric Altman, Billy Willard, Dave Dragosin, David Twichell and Stan Gordon just to name a few.

As always it was good to see old friends and make a few new ones as well along the way.

I spoke about my more prevailing facts regarding primate habitation and its relevance to Bigfoot research.

The big surprise was Dr. Jeff Meldrum, changing his program up and speaking about the recent Russian expedition being more show than science.

The presentation included many photos of the events during the expedition and he seemed a bit put off and dismayed at the lack of science involved. I can’t say I blame him.

All in all it was a great event and look forward to speaking at more events in the future as well as being just an attendee.

In other news…

A couple of weeks ago, we exposed Tim Fasano as being the Bigfoot Buster Blog writer, and much to his credit he came forward.

He stated to me in a conversation I had with him after he extended an “internet olive branch,” on October 19th, 2011 that he realized what he did was not on the side of right.

In the spirit of Bigfoot research, we’ve agreed to a truce and he will now focus on research, if not for his own curiosity, rather than some of the subterfuge that occasionally permeates the field. However, hoaxes by any will not ever be tolerated.

As to the source of Fasano, obtaining confidential emails, between Alex Hearn and a television show producer, came from, (as we suspected) Tom Biscardi, from a source whom unknowingly provided information for the blog and naively thought, Biscardi would keep the information confidential as requested.

The email to Fasano, dated September 22, 2011 and contained all the email correspondence between a producer and Hearn.

Again credit to Fasano for coming clean and providing this writer and others hurt by his actions, providing us with this clear evidence of Biscardi attempting to smear researchers who oppose him, or he begrudges. As to how Biscardi got the information, and how the originating party got the emails, that is being handled as a private matter within the affected parties.

Fasano quits after caught hoaxing, playing the victim card just like his mentor.

Well it would appear that Fasano fessed up, but like his mentor, he’s now playing the victim card.

Fasano says he was threatened with violence, thought he won’t name who. Well it wasn’t me. But the call that was made to Fasano by me, advising him to take the blog down or he would be exposed, went unanswered for some 7-8 hours.

The other phone call, I heard was made within minutes of my call.

Nope, it was only after the release of yesterdays post exposing Mr. Fasano of the hoax, that the blog came down. He called my bluff and lost.

In a response to a blog on GhostTheory.com, which sited the Bigfoot Evidence Blog as the source of Fasano’s downfall, which was a little off the mark, I wrote the following about Fasano’s departure from the Bigfoot community.

“Well, Shawn’s source of the information was me. Since he was covering the Bigfoot Buster Blog story, I felt obliged to keep him in the loop.

Now this alleged threat Fasano is speaking of, definitely did not come from myself, however may have come from another party. What I do know is that I know the other party, called him some 8 – 9 hours before said blog was removed.

Only after the story broke on my blog and website and circulated through the “Social Network” with the evidence Fasano was responsible, did the blog abruptly disappear. It had nothing to do with any threat, it had to do with the simple fact that Fasano had hoaxed an identity to appear credible, and used the blog for personal attacks.

Parodies do not attack with venom other people such as Hearn, and make veiled threats, using the guise of knowing something he does not, except what he was being fed by his well known hoaxer mentor Biscardi.

The man hoaxed an identity, wrote an article against himself, bashed his mentor to appear that this was a legitimate blog, and putting the blame on someone else, by the first post saying “We’re back.”

No sir not parody at all. Downright hoaxing cut and dry. Fasano was one to complain about the “Sasquatch Sandbox,” but was very willing and able to jump in, as long as people didn’t know it was him.

So I do not feel sorry for Fasano, and neither should anyone else. He brought this upon himself, and what you have here is another case of a hoaxer playing the victim card, much the way his new mentor did in 2008.

As far as the death threat thing, well that didn’t come from myself. But I do not think it had anything to do at all with that, but rather when he was caught with his hand in the cookie jar he pulled the site.”

If Fasano truly is leaving the Bigfoot field, as far as I am concerned, good, go, good-bye. I won’t even bring him up again. But more often than not, people like him keep coming back, as I am sure this new feeling sorry for himself, and “I’m the victim” mentality is just another ruse.

Only when I see his YouTube, his Bigfoot websites and blogs all terminated will I really believe him.

Bigfoot Buster Blog exposed and a hoaxer too

People have to learn, when they pick a fight even a small one, with garbage, that they open themselves up to scrutiny.

People whom don’t know me, know I am a pit bull on crack when it comes to getting to the bottom of things.

So I set my “minions” upon a mission and came up with the truth about the Bigfoot Buster Blog.

This blog was originally deleted by its previous owner and was involved in one of the many disputes we’ve come to know in the Bigfoot community.

Yesterday after being shown a post in the blog, my past was brought up and things were said I don’t really remember saying. I realize why now…yep it was fed to the new blog owner by Tom Biscardi. That’s right. Tom Biscardi. But fear not, it was not Biscardi behind the blog itself. But a Biscardi sentiment may explain the disdain for Alex Hearn.

You see, lets look at the blog itself, as there is a small Google Search Box in the upper right hand corner.

This search back, relates back to a Google Ad Sense account seen here in line 1537 of the source code of the page.

We take that number and place in an internet resource I now use and it shows for free the first five websites this Ad Sense account number is used for.

What it comes back to is the following sites:

So my dear readers, the man whom hoaxed a site, claiming to be someone else and even attacking himself and Biscardi to throw off blame or suspicion off, the site is being run by none other than Tim Fasano himself.

This revelation puts this man’s credo in the dumper along with his new mentor Biscardi. As he turns and hoaxes a site, for personal revenge against what he perceives as enemies.

So needless to say the open invitation to the Bigfoot Buster is off. Fasano, you’ve already heard my facts…FACTS..about whom you now stand up and defend. (Biscardi), and now have acted as an agent for Biscardi, through creating a hoaxed site, and trying to discredit those whom oppose your new mentor.

See Fasano, you talk about the games and “Asshats,” trying to stir stuff up in the community, but you cannot even man up and do it yourself. You have to hoax being someone else.

You also talked so excitedly about “Finding Bigfoot” coming, until they shut you out. No you can’t stop the diatribe. Not only are you a hoaxer, but a hypocrite, whom will run to anyone whom will flash you money and put you on TV, whilst speaking ill of them out of the other side of your mouth.

Open Invitation to the Bigfoot Buster

An interesting post several days from yet another nameless blogger called the Bigfoot Buster Blog, that decided to write an article on me and the twin casts.

Though the article, was commending and I appreciate such, I have some slight issues with the political turn it took, but it did make me bring something out, that had long been forgotten.

But first lets deal with people whom speak out of pocket at times that do not get the facts straight. Checking facts can be an arduous task at times, and it happens, I’ve made them, so let’s correct a couple of facts as reported:

First, it is reported, I cast the tracks in Vermont. Both casts were cast in New York.

Second, Morton’s toe is referred to the SECOND toe being enlarged.

If you look closely, it is the THIRD toe that is deformed, not the second. Therefore it is not Morton’s Toe, that’s why I called it an “anomaly.” Rest assure I know what Morton’s toe is, and I’ve discussed it once or twice in the past on the old radio show. If I was sure it was the second toe that was deformed, I would have called it Morton’s toe.

This anonymous blogger goes on to state:

“Steve believes that because the toes are the same shape, and of different sizes, that eliminates hoaxes. Not exactly (did you think I would let you off easy?).” – Bigfoot Buster Blog

Well if I stated eliminated hoax, then I misspoke, which happens from time to time, nothing eliminates the possibility of a hoax, however, it eliminates the likelihood of a hoax. Of course, this person does not know the area, I can say that it would be near impossible.

Lastly this blogger goes on with a veiled threat,

“There was a lot of hoaxing going on in Paris Texas when you were working with Tom Biscardi and found the most impressive prints ever discovered, which you vouched for on camera. You have never been called out on that. I will, but today, you are safe. Good job on this one.” –Bigfoot Buster Blog 10/13/11

Well first off, bringing stuff up that is five years old, kind of tweaks the old memory. And I do remember vouching for different toe splay, and the possibility of dermals. but there was one picture, when I later got home, after said statements were made, and yes there were impressive, but impressive does not necessarily mean real or legitimate either.

I don’t recall ever saying they were the “most impressive prints found ever.” If I did then I misspoke out of inexperience with seeing large volumes of tracks at the time. They perhaps were the most impressive I have ever seen. But then again, I had only seen one in the field before this after seven years of research. After all this is over five years ago. And my first trip out of the northeast.

(Don’t forget, shortly thereafter, I passed up the one case Biscardi was all touted for in NY, the Clarence pictures of the gorilla suit near the Gator. I wrote him a summation and not surprisingly, he ignored it. If I was in it for glory, I would have been there, but I told him it was fake and I really don’t wish to be involved.

As to the impressiveness, upon review and consultation at home with some folks this picture made me reconsider,

Plainly a creature of this size would not stand with its feet so close together. Mind you this was a first foray with Biscardi, and truthfully, he couldn’t have done this, as I rolled up with him and the crew. Which does not limit the fact that they could have been planted there by someone else. (Like his then contact at the time, Mike Sells).

Unknown to me was the films (until late 2007) Sells was trying to sell to the TRBC and to Biscardi, of course which he bought into whole heartedly.

Of course, I wasn’t privy to seeing all the films until 2008 and easily saw this was a hoax. This merely was the film that could be disputed the least because of lighting. But it clearly moved the same way the more obvious hoaxed films were.

In 2008, I was also shown, by a game warden in Texas, a way that even print with different toe splays and derma ridges can be faked. Although the dermal ridges, most likely would be discovered to be human, upon being evaluated by an expert. (Certainly not me) The toes of the tracks upon evaluation of this new evidence, and some better experiences with legitimate tracks, seemed a bit narrow than they should have been if authentic. We also found a faked print, even furthering my doubts on the original.

With this evidence all coming to light in the years following, I am with certainty that all the tracks found some five plus years ago were faked. But fool me once…

Again, Biscardi is not one whom creates hoaxes, he’s one whom gets behind them like there the gospel, and elaborates on them, a sort of defacto hoaxer, so he can always say he was “duped.”

And…

Issue of Steve Kulls? There is no issue. I have always been diligent and try report things as I see them. Have I been hoaxed before? Yes, probably. It happens. Washington Avenue store? Lost me on that one.

To err is human, and I am no omnipotent being for sure. If the “Bigfoot Buster,” wants to explore my issue, he or she can set up an email account and write me at admin@squatchdetective.com.

I’m not out for bullshit or a fight, just want to get the facts straight, because too many have added their own opinion and reported it as fact.

I’m a pretty candid guy and I certainly have nothing to hide. And I will answer your questions. I won’t dance around them like the fat guy from San-Fran would.

But frankly I moved on from that stuff, and so has the general public and Bigfoot community, except a few of those that feel they have a bone to pick with me. Which is bizarre, because I don’t have a bone to pick with anyone except the fat guy and people trying to pull hoaxes on a grand scale.

I actually would wish to thank the Bigfoot Buster for bringing that issue up. But I also wish to state, if you listened to what I have said these past couple of years, there is very little in the means of evidence, I believe that comes out of the Biscardi camp, either past, present or future. But if clarification was required, there it is.

In the scope of events of 2008, I forgot all about some revelations from 2006. Most of it fell within the “no one gives a shit” column.

As far as paying penance, I pay penance to God and to no one else. Maybe you got caught in the moment making that statement, I understand, and don’t worry, I’ve paid for what some people think my transgressions, and I’ve risen above that again.

What would be the motive for someone to try to discredit me? If you are, you’re playing into the hands of the fat –guy, or the people that wish ill to this field.

To err is human, and I am no omnipotent being for sure. I am an investigator not a scientist. As an investigator, I have the right and change my beliefs if new evidence comes to light.

And frankly, I’m not here to hurt or shame anyone but hoaxers and put forth the best information I can.

I’m not a guy peddling paid excursions or trying to sell a blobsquatch photo, or a guy in a gorilla suit, to people as being evidence. I take this stuff seriously even though I may have a playful sense of humor, I won’t even go near a gorilla costume out of respect for what I do. All pundits need is to see Steve near a guy with a costume and whammo!

Seriously, it is why I will not perform reenactments on my videos, even Monster Quest used CGI or did those with me not on set. (The furry reenactment, was a reused clip from the Whitehall episode of Mysterious Encounters.)

If I ever do getting around to selling a book or documentary it will be done with the highest degree of integrity, not only do I demand it, but the people I surround myself with now, demand it.

There is no motive behind what I do, because I simply love to do it. It’s my passion, my form of artistic need.

I’m a pretty candid guy and I certainly have nothing to hide. And I will answer your questions. I won’t dance around them like the fat guy from San-Fran would.

In fact anyone whom reads this blog, can always ask me anything about anything. Again..I have nothing to hide. Fact is, I’m on the side of the truth and integrity. I’ve become bloodied to prove that.

And truth is, I learn from missteps, which I admit to in the past I have made with being put on the spot and saying something. But I can say I was never dishonest nor ever tried to get one over on anyone for any reason. I stand by that.

Does that also mean, with what small evidence I come up with, may be interpreted differently than I? Absolutely. But I do try to come up with some backup, such as the Vermont Trail Cam photo.

When I looked at that picture, I knew from evaluating, not only in this field, but professionally, thousands of photos, that this was close to the ground because of the Parallax view. I wouldn’t let just stand on my word alone, but got a Ph.D to state the same, and he went so far as to say, “This is either the real thing or an elaborate hoax.”

Again one can never truly rule out a hoax in photography or videography. But nonetheless, I have stated my firm evidence, why my belief, that the possibility of that picture of being a hoax is highly unlikely.

I research with an open mind. And I listen. My ideas, philosophies, strategies and the like, can all be subject to change because of that open mindedness. Hard to do…but not impossible with the right proof and evidence.

Again, I am an investigator, and as with some investigations, over the years and time, things change, evidence comes to light. So if I do a summation, it may change in a few years depending if new evidence surfaces. This is how the real world operates. Certainly not perfect.

And since then, as with the learning curve, I have changed my methodology a bit when it comes to investigations. Back in 2006, I was putting evidence up far too quickly to have complete evaluation, today, much more didactic in approach.

Yes I may even err on the side of “Sasquatch” now and again, I also have been very well known to err on the side of “not a Squatch” more often than not, but my evaluations are not steeped out of hype, but evidence, belief and personal conviction.

Robert Lindsay: After reading this..why would we even care what he writes?

The following may contain language offensive to the reader as it exposes a in my opinion, a racist, socialist, sexist, pedophile.

Over the last year are so, Blogger Robert Lindsay has put forth a series of interviews with Richard Stubstad, that aimed to tear down the Ketchum report and subversively attempted to promote, or set up, promotion for Biscardi shills Stubstad and Schamlzbach through discrediting a scientist without any substantial evidence.

But who exactly is Robert Lindsay, the blogger that really drew attention to a malcontent in not only the Erickson project, but the Ketchum Report whom secretly was aiding Biscardi?

Well, to really know how twisted a person can be, lets look at some of the other statements and beliefs made on Lindsay’s blog.

Racist overtones:

Lindsay since September 27th, 2011 has written numerous articles on what he calls “low black IQ’s".”

One of his these postings included one titled;

“Arabs are stupid, backwards, low IQ morons who can’t create anything” –Robert Lindsay Blog Title

It continued in a racist, ethnocentric, and rather white supremacist view point, summing up with the following statement:

“I don’t get it. Arabs are dumber than US Blacks, and they create Dubai. US Blacks are smarter than Arabs, but they create Detroit. What gives?

Whatever is wrong with US Blacks, it ain’t IQ. Their IQ ought to be sufficient to create scenes like the above.” (Referenced was a picture of Dubai) – Robert Lindsay blog quote 9/27/11

“Blacks commit more crime than Whites. On just about every measure of pathology, depravity and dysfunction that we can measure, Blacks beat Whites.” - Robert Lindsay blog quote 10/1/11 from an article he wrote entitled, “The blacks and their lies about white criminals.”

“Gypsy culture is way worse than Black culture. Gypsies are like ghetto Blacks on steroids.Something went wrong with Gypsies. It’s like God was sleeping on the job when he made them.” – Robert Lindsay comment 9/28/11

I think we figured out what Lindsay does for a living…read on:

“This is an interesting view of what it is like to serve Black people in a large restaurant. The Blacks show up en masse for the cheapest meal of them all, which isn’t even very good for you either.”

On the Amanda Knox trial:

“The real killer was a Black immigrant from the Ivory Coast named Rudy Guede. I always knew he did it, but was surprised that the others were involved…When in doubt, lynch the n***** (racist reference removed) to get yourself off, White folks.”

Lindsay has also disdained Jewish folks as well with the following comments:

“The Israel American alliance is more than just a Jewish Lobby…Good, solid majorities of Americans, mostly Whites, stand hard and fast behind the Jewish state. They don’t just do that because of the Jewish Lobby or media brainwash.” – Robert Lindsay blog quote 9/30/11

The previous comment stems from classic “Aryan Nation” propaganda, of the country being controlled, “by the Jews.” Of course also in that tradition he speaks of “white racism” by stating in several sentences later;

“And let’s not forget White racism – Israel as a Euro-White state besieged by violent hordes of dark skinned 3rd Worlders.” – Robert Lindsay blog quote 9/30/11

“I have zero sympathy for Zionists outside of Israel. If they really believe that Israel is the homeland of all Jews, why don’t they go and live there? –Robert Lindsay blog quote 9/28/11”

Then in yet a later blog, where he’s trying to figure, much in case due to the Michael Vick animal cruelty case, if animal cruelty rates are at higher rates amongst African Americans versus Caucasians. He actually comes up with that the answer is no, but imparts another racist viewpoint;

“No one knows, but love of cruelty has been a salient characteristic observed among young ghetto Blacks and among Blacks in Africa.” –Robert Lindsay blog quote 10/1/11

And of course another shot at insult while attempting to be “fair”;

“As far as children go, it seems that White kids are crueler to animals than Black kids, a very strange finding.” – Robert Lindsay blog quote 10/1/11

Editor’s note- (Very strange finding Robert? Why, is that because you’re steeped with racist beliefs? Nothing you can say Robert except an apology to those comments, will stifle you’re insensitivity to races other than your own.)

Anti-Americanism socialist sentiments:

Lindsay has also gone on a rant on North Korea, calling our own country, Western Imperialists,” sounding like a believer in the communist manifesto. Which oddly enough is at odd with “Aryan Nations” belief.

(A brief note on world history, Hitler, despised the communists but used them very effectively, to get elected as Chancellor of Germany in 1933, after that he used them as an excuse to seize absolute power and eliminate them. Both Nazism and Socialism at that moment in time were steeped in anti-Semitism, which is why Hitler manipulated them to get their vote)

“You never heard that in the capitalist press, now did you?…I would also like to take this opportunity to come out in strong support of North Korea’s nuclear weapons program…They also need to come up with some missiles that have a long enough range to actually hit the mainland US…The problem is that this is the only that US imperialist dogs will listen to.Western imperialists are intent on regime change.” – Robert Lindsay blog quote 10/1/11

“Whether it works or not, capitalism is definitely not morally ok. In a lot of ways, it’s just flat out evil” – Robert Lindsay blog quote 8/29/11

Some off the wall comments by Lindsay (the best is yet to come):

“Eating and shitting are on about the same level as sex, but most people get to eat, and almost everyone who’s not dying gets to shit. Doing without sex is like doing without food or shitting in a sense.”

Editor’s note on that last quote… (Sorry Robert, but look at some of your quotes here and you may find out, why you’re not exactly the best catch. Perhaps in California, the ladies don’t want to get a 3rd degree sun burn by those 1980’s radar dish glasses you’re wearing…I smell “MAKEOVER.” Having your profile pic taken while looking at a computer screen reeks of “Porn Addict”)

And while we’re on that note, here’s another fine snippet from a Lindsay comment:

“Once in 1980, I was coming out of a porno theater at in downtown Long Beach at 1 AM…”

Wow…I think I’m spot on here…(Longbeach? After your appearance at the adult cinema constabulary there, perhaps it should have been renamed to “Shortbeach”)

“I used to hang out at this coffee shop. Some of the local teenagers decided, for some bizarre reason, that I was a “child molester” and had to be banned from the store.”

Why would you even state this on a blog, or ANYWHERE for this matter?

“The store was filled with all sorts of young hotties from 14+ into adulthood, and yeah, I used to check them out.”

Some bizarre reason huh? 14 year olds are NOT HOTTIES, they are children. Then he wonders why someone writes into his blog and tells him he looks like a serial killer or pedophile.

Fact is most of Lindsay’s blog, is much to do about, racist views, his hatred for this country and Israel for that matter, how evil this country and capitalism is, calling anyone one the right, right leaning or Tea Partiers racists while frequently using the “N” word and writing about how bad African Americans are.

This is not a political stance, it is there to show you his hypocrisy, calling one group racist while he has blog posts entitled, “Black Diners" and “The blacks lie about white criminals.”

Folks whom know me, I’m not always about political correctness, but one thing I won’t stand for is racism, sexism and pedophilia.

After reading more into Lindsay’s blog, which most in the Bigfoot field have not, it is trash of the utmost. And what he says about the Bigfoot DNA study, is from a source long removed from the project that is stating opinion more than fact.

Now back to the world of sanity.

Research frustration often the result of some bad choices.

Over the years I’ve watched a small extreme portion of researchers, become frustrated because the choices they made to pursue in the research field have often led them to finding, nothing or just limited findings.

Going to the fringe

Erik Beckjord, the late “bad boy” of the Bigfoot research field, was a flesh and blood bigfoot guy, until something snapped in him and the reason why Bigfoot evidence was hard to come by was because of Bigfoot, being a mystical, greater powers than human, creature.

While much of that type of behavior could be attributed to the possibility of the creature using infrasound, an ability which many large mammals have to produce an inaudible tone in their vocalizations, to cause things such as hallucinations, paranoia and nausea.

Recently, during an Adirondack outing, a Zoom H2 Handy Recorder, which we deployed caught footsteps, followed by a low toned growl, which turned out to be an extremely low frequency.

The growl, was not heard by anyone present, but we sure did feel a bit paranoid and like we were being watched. While one of the team, was encountering some stomach discomfort.

Studies in the U.K. have shown that these infrasonic bursts even cause vibrations in the eyeballs, which could cause hallucinations. Many people who’ve said they’ve seen Bigfoot, just disappear, or turn into lights etc., could be victims of such infrasonic bursts.

Again, different people, have different reactions.

If I can’t find it, it’s fake…

The other route a researcher may take is that the Bigfoot phenomena is complete baloney. Such as the recent indications of John L. Johnsen, owner of Grendel Films, which has done four cryptozoology movies, most surrounding Bigfoot.

Johnsen stated that throughout his six years, he hasn’t had any tangible proof but “hoaxers and opportunists.”

Johnsen also stated the following:

“Those of you that think they have seen something genuine have, I believe, either been the victims of clever hoaxes or misinterpreted what you saw.”

Now, I like John, but not so fast. It was Johnsen whom had made the decisions to travel where he traveled to.

It was Johnsen, whom made the decision to trust at least one individual, that gave him evidence, in which turned out to be more than likely a hoax.

So John, out of anger and frustration, has thrown a stereotype out to all Bigfoot witnesses. Sorry not so fast.

Has John ever been to my neck of the woods? No.

Has he spoke to the police officers I’ve spoken to? No.

I don’t know John, I’ve had four sightings now, all of which with multiple witnesses, particularly the last two which have occurred in New York. I know, I didn’t misinterpret ANYTHING, nor have I’ve been the victim of a “clever hoax,” since all our locations aren’t released until last minute to the team. Nor do we make our forays public.

I’ve also spoken to foresters, experienced hunters, naturists, and even a couple of scientists, all of which were not the victims of “clever hoaxes” nor misidentified ANYTHING.

Now if I sound a little agitated, I am. How dare he throw his thumb up at the folks Bigfoot researchers work for; The thousands of witnesses whom are looking for nothing more than validation, that have been called crazy, and sometimes even worse.

Coming from a person, whom tried to capitalize on and monetize the phenomena.

John’s own lack of evidence, does not fair well for his movies, the people in his movies, nor his dedication to getting to the truth.

It was Johnsen as well that spilled beans, and went public with MK Davis’ theory on the “Patterson Bigfoot Massacre.” This caused an upheaval in the Bigfoot community for some time and occasionally still does.

A theory in which has no proof or substance other than conjecture on something, so minute, interpreted on a forty plus year old film. Why did Johnsen go after such a flimsy theory with no physical proof to validate such?

Of course it wouldn’t have been my first move to put David Shealy, the controversial, and alleged hoaxer, Skunk Ape hunter.

Again, a little better research on whom you’re going to be filming would have done wonders here. Or was that ignored?

A cheap piece of film to shoot, as both Johnsen and Shealy are both Floridians. So one has to ask the question, was the intent here to film real research or just to shoot something?

Expedition a huge success

This past week, September 13th – 15th, 2011, I was joined with my sister organization, Tri-City NY Paranormal Society, in an expedition of primary research area #1.

One of the improvements was the deployment of a gear tent, thus eliminating the need from going tent to tent looking for gear.

Of course, moved into a much grander, style tent, I call the “Tent-mah-hal.” Roomy enough to set up a small command center in.

Of course, our former Marine Sniper and Iraqi Freedom vet, Steve Kannes helped set the fire up, whom joined us for the first night.

It wasn’t before long after setting the equipment up and starting up the fire, when dusk fell. At which point we had the terrible feeling of something watching us and we could hear footfalls circling us.

We scouted for some time, at which time we had several distinct vocals, that we did not hear before. earlier we had heard the distinct owls that inhabit the park, however they became silent for a spell, and something else vocalized.

We did catch something of a low growl or grunt, both preceded and followed by footfalls, on the Zoom H2 recorder trap placed to the west of camp.

At the time of the recording, we were not in camp and scouting, after “Sniper Steve” had saw something moving about in the valley below.

Later that night, as it became completely dark, activity stepped up and both Steve and I had a sighting of a large hulking black figure, standing, then darting westward, about 75 feet from camp.

On night two we were joined by Tri-City NY Paranormal Society founder, Gary Rabusto.

The camp for night two was drastically different, and much quieter than the previous night. Gone were the footfalls, and strange vocals. So Gary and I decided to travel to another location in the park some two miles away, where persistent activity and reports have come from, and we entered the area.

After some provocation by me, it wasn’t before long before something was trying to flank us, and Gary was able to see a pair of glowing eyes, through night vision, staring back at us, before it turned and left the area.

Truly an incredible trip and we’ll be recapping with plenty of video and audio evidence, on the September 18th, 2011 edition of Squatch-D TV.

Squatchdetective Radio changes format & name

Well after experiencing the new features first hand we have decided to go ahead and rename Squatchdetective Radio into, Squatch-D TV.

For the last couple of years, we’ve been trying to launch Squatch-D TV in to a podcast, but it was really difficult and labor intensive, given the schedules demand of both Chris and myself.

Now we have the proper format and will march on.

Just for assurance, and for quite some time to come, SquatchdetectiveRadio.com will be up and can still navigate to the new show.

Also, we’ve worked out some of the glitches from the last program, such as a second open mic from the hosts controls, and a better program to stream videos more fluently. And like BTR, we’ve now worked in a call in number!!

Squatchdetective Radio Moving to a New Home

Well this announcement has been a long time coming, but on behalf of myself and Chris Bennett we are pleased and ecstatic to announce that on August 21st, 2011 we will be moving Squatchdetective Radio to a new home on the Paranormal TV Network.

The new network affords us cutting edge technology that surpasses BlogTalk Radio’s capabilities and a far larger listener base.

Respectively, the show of August 14th, 2011 has been effectively cancelled and Chris and I will stream an announcement on BTR at some point which will air in the archive section as our final BTR broadcast.

We’d like to thank Laura Kimberly, Director of the PTN Networks for being so accommodating, and understanding the meaning of partnership and working together. She’s aces!

Thoughts on our affiliation with BTR

Our affiliation with BTR has been a bittersweet one. We were the first Bigfoot show on BTR, and soon others followed, and eventually at our suggestion the Paranormal category was created, which Squatchdetective Radio has always been one of the top ranked shows in the category.

For a long time, it seemed like a partnership. Then, Program Director Amy Domestico even put together a Bigfoot Roundtable Show in 2007.

We didn’t even start to get what they called Rev Share until 2008, and it was not even enough to go to buy a single ticket at the movies.

Unfortunately, what began as what was claimed to have been a partnership between show hosts and BTR became a money game. After broadcasting over 4 years on BTR, providing content for them, statistics for them, after BTR decided to consider themselves a full fledged service and required, hosts who branded them to now pay to do their shows in the same time slot and duration, and to keep their sound boards intact.

In mid December I sent an email letter to BTR CEO Alan Levy, asking him what about the pioneer shows of BTR. I was host 661. Now they have over 30,000, and I am probably only one of a small handful of shows that have been there since the beginning.

Levy whom was always quick to respond to every email I had sent him previously, but this one went unanswered. It was the proverbial f*** you!

Hence you can see that Mr. Levy went from this image in the beginning of BTR:

So friendly and warm how can you not believe a guy like that?

Now, he looks cold calculating, raking in the cash on freebies from talented folks and now he wants them to pay because he is a huge success.

To show you how thankless they are…here some quotes from a publication sent to the hosts in 2008:

“Before we get started, let me say that every last one of BlogTalkRadio's more than 3,000 active hosts is playing a critical role in the growth of this network….

And you know what? We appreciate it…

….we've got to crank it up a notch. That means producing more entertaining, informative and newsworthy shows. It also means working harder to promote them.”

When they gave us exactly one month to decide. Long term shows like Bigfoot Quest and several others dropped out and would not cave to the extortion. However we hung in there, to keep connected with our fan base, and have constantly and consistently looked for a network which could afford us the very best, and what we had.

So today we are proud to say, “BACK ATCHA ALAN.”

An update on the DNA game….

Apparently good ole JavaBob, added a little commentary to my last blog.

I wrote:

“I urge all the readers to wait to the final result, and evaluate that information. The bottom line here with the Study is that SCIENCE will tell us the validity of the work, not bloggers, pundits, interlopers or a lone scientist.”

Seems like he added a “not you either Mr. Kulls.” Well first of all, I do not have arrogant presumption like “Mr. Schmaltzbach.”

But what I am not, is a LIAR. Not a liar by omission, nor an outright liar. Perhaps he needs a reminder of the Squatchdetective Radio broadcast he got on under false pretenses, and stated he would have nothing to further do professionally with Biscardi. LIAR. Yep unbeknownst to me, he appeared on an AM station in Utah with none other than Biscardi the night previous to this statement.

And now he and the newly revealed Biscardi investor, Stubstad and Schmalzbach, are trying to play DNA games with Biscardi, well at least that was the premise of Biscardi’s Bigfoot Live Radio show a couple of weeks ago, which Stubstad and Schmaltzbach were on.

Oh yeah…the held at gun point stuff. Another LIE. Police report proved that.

“I see no reason for Tom Biscardi to perpetuate a hoax.” LIE. What he omitted was that SFBI CFO and moneyman at the time David Nilsen, filed bankruptcy, two months prior to Biscardi getting involved with the Georgia hoaxers. Thus effectively cutting Biscardi’s money train off.

But where did the money come from he got from Nilsen? Nilsen currently is under indictment for 31 counts of fraud, in what prosecutors describe as a “Ponzi like” scheme to defraud investors in a fund he managed at New Growth Capital Funding. Could it be that some of those folks, whom lost millions, were the actual funders of SFBI?

And we wonder why JavaBob resigned as an officer of SFBI? He left that out too folks. I mean as an officer of SFBI, this all occurred before he resigned, he would have known.

See he resigned not out of moral compass, or ethical standards, or even to bridge out independently, he did it to save his ass. That’s the reason why he left it out.

Isn’t it strange Biscardi and Nilsen started a “foreign corporation,” in Nevada, well after Nilsen’s indictment?

I wonder if prosecutors know about the foreign corporation or Nilsen’s involvement with SFBI.

Seems there’s more than just Bigfootery at work here.

The DNA Game

Last night on Squatchdetective Radio, I revealed an almost two year investigation of the Ketchum Report, regarding the involvement and subsequent expulsion of Biscardi elements in the project.

I urge folks to really weigh heavily on what is being leveled by Biscardi investor Richard Stubstad, whose public partner in crime is “JavaBob” Schmalzbach.

Stubstad was originally thought to be leaking information from the Erickson project, when in reality his information came as a direct result of cozying up to Dr. Melba Ketchum, due to being a Biscardi Investor, by paying for samples which included, the infamous, “Hand of Unknown Origin,” some hair samples, bone samples from the controversial Texas Skeleton find, and a toenail.

In an ironic twist, prior to this information coming out, another popular Blog, The Bigfoot Lunch Club, leveled that Stubstad was a Todd Standing defender. Birds of a feather….

Mind you, as I stated on the show, Biscardi never has shown to the public an original thought. None of these materials submitted were discovered by him, only given to him by other researchers, most of which were prior to Biscardi’s well known attempted hoax of 2008.

To Dr. Ketchum’s credit, these characters have all been expelled from the report, and the owner of the toenail, Larry Jenkins, has also expelled the Biscardi-Stubstad connection from his finding as well.

This all occurred when Stubstad came to Dr. Ketchum, trying to have an idea with a company which would market the findings. A company was formed with Stubstad and JavaBob Schmalzbach, called Science Alive LLC.

The venture was short lived as became apparent as to what Stubstad’s and Schmalzbach’s motives were. When Ketchum informed them they were out, then began the assault by Stubstad, with some stealth planting of information by Schmalzbach, who has remained a silent participant in the matter.

Then came out of the blue, an unknown blogger by the name of Robert Lindsay, whom coincidentally lives in Biscardi’s neighborhood, whom became the de-facto mouthpiece for Stubstad-Schmalzbach.

Personally, I believe it was done by design, that the leak had been rumored to be from the “Erickson Project,” which allegedly Stubstad had a miniscule role in before being expelled from that project.

In actuality the leak was from Stubstad’s involvement with Biscardi, not from Erickson, as much of the information being put forth was from the baseline findings of the toenail and nothing else. Again I emphasize the word baseline, and it is unclear whether the toenail passed muster to actually be in the project.

We all must remember that the DNA submitted to this project, originally came from groups and individuals aside from the Biscardi faction, and they in reality were late comers. I suspect it was “Mr. Media Attention,” trying to get in on the act, as in their business plan it clearly states that, “should someone else find Bigfoot, it would cause a loss of faith in SFBI’s abilities…” Well I think 2008 did enough for the educated public to realize that already.

Now that they’ve been excluded, what is being done, is a series of misinformation being put forth to disrupt an otherwise, wise and legitimate attempt, and sour grapes.

Stubstad and Lindsay did the BlogTalk circuit, also omitting the connection to Biscardi, or mentioning that Ketchum was talked into a company that she later thought was a really bad idea.

Now recently on Biscardi’s Radio show, Stubstad and Schmalzbach made a joint appearance. (I thought Schmalzbach wasn’t having anything to do with Biscardi anymore…”at least professionally”)

As I mentioned earlier in another blog and on the radio show… here we go again, as Biscardi is claiming to have DNA from Arkansas, from three guys, (Mike Slavin, Rocky Slavin and Dennis Marsh) and is going to tell the world how he now has the DNA to prove Bigfoot exists.

Biscardi on “Black Friday”

As we know, any DNA information from Biscardi is worthless, remembering the supposed “Hand” cover up he alleged, the misinformation about a skeleton in Texas, and oh yeah, the DNA result from the freezer, which Biscardi changed and then sent out to researchers previous to his Black Friday press conference.

Some of the Stubstad misinformation is that the Ketchum report is a one woman show. In reality the study is co-authored by, Dr. Ketchum’s own words to me, by at least six people.

The Study is not out for peer review. In reality it is now as we sit here.

Also in reality, there were other labs involved in a blind study, and some of the samples were farmed out to other DNA labs completely for analysis, as to maintain the report’s objectivity.

Now if all this information has your head spinning, let me reiterate, ignore the interference and “keep your eye on the ball.”

I urge all the readers to wait to the final result, and evaluate that information. The bottom line here with the Study is that SCIENCE will tell us the validity of the work, not bloggers, pundits, interlopers or a lone scientist.

And from the mouth of Dr. Ketchum, the study results will be out before the year is up.

“Finding Bigfoot” Turns into an exposé of bad editing.

In the latest communication to Cryptomundo.com, the team leader of the “Finding Bigfoot,” series, Matt Moneymaker, has finally taken some good advice and ceased lashing out and turned to a pro-active approach to the program and conflicts with the production company and speaks as to the second episode of “Finding Bigfoot,” entitled “Swamp Ape.”

“The heat blip in the meadow was a horse. I said so on camera. I talked about the horse for a good long while. I figured the producers would edit it honestly, but they didn’t. Their editing made it look as though I did not identify the figure before it ran off. I did. It was a horse. They inserted lines from other scenes where I talk about something running away before I could figure out what it was.

As I said before, the producers and editors only care about entertainment. They don’t care about what we care about, but we have very limited influence for these first episodes … and we had zero influence over the editing.

That wasn’t the only dishonest thing they did in the name of entertainment. At one point I read some VO lines they had written as transition explanations. I read it out loud the first time and read through a line saying “overwhelming evidence” … then I stopped and said, “We gotta redo that. I’m going to say ‘a collection of evidence’ because it’s NOT ‘overwhelming evidence’.” They taped me saying it my way, and I emphasized to use that version instead. What did they do? They used the “overwhelming evidence” version.

So they kinda screwed me over on those two things. They certainly taught me that I can’t read VO lines out loud before I’ve read them through silently first and then changed them on paper before reading them out loud. They’re showing us what they are capable of. They’re showing the whole cast how much we cannot trust them at all, as I’ve been saying from the beginning.” –Matt Moneymaker to Cryptomundo

It is refreshing to see that we will finally have the real story of each episode which airs now, in a more constructive and positive manner.

This past week on Squatchdetective Radio, I revealed I had spoken to the reporter Sharon Hall, whom stated she spoken with the production crew about the Sheriff’s investigation into the dash-cam video and that the witness sitting next to the deputy in the video had been also very aware of it, placing this squarely on the heels of the production company.

Some reviews from non-Bigfoot related sights have not been too kind as well,

“…Usually I love Bigfoot shows, but this one barely held my interest. I did not find the Bigfoot research team to be particularly likable or very scientific sounding compared to other documentaries. Hopefully this doesn't add to whole joking attitude about the possible existence of Bigfoot.”

Again the likeability of the research team can be directly attributable to the production company. It is in their hands how to project the on air talent’s personalities.
Another review came from Tyler985 on TVRage.com,

“All I can say is wow....Animal Planet must hurting bad for ratings and viewers cause this is awful…”

However this review, seems to be angry over the, “Bigfoot” thing, and since it is biased in that manner, it should be taken with a huge grain of salt.

As of this writing, there are no other reviews I could find on the program, coming from non-Bigfoot related sites.

Well I am glad to see Matt is setting the record straight. It had to be done, and honesty is always the best policy. The big take away here is beware the pitfalls of doing a television production, without reading the contractual obligations and having some creative control over what is being put on the screen. Or work with a director you can trust.

Now on to some other news,

Biscardi caught hoaxing, this time on his radio show.

Last week on Squatchdetective Radio we spoke with Alex Hearn, who waited to speak to the other unnamed researcher involved as he and this other researcher were asked by Biscardi to basically state they were on the road for him, while calling into his radio show for a period of two months.

They were also asked not to post anything Bigfoot related, as to add to the “reality” of that request. Hearn and the other researcher reneged on it, and when Hearn posted on his own forum, he received a call from SFBI team member, going along with the hoax, “What the hell are you doing.”

I guess now we have to put a “caveat emptor,” on Bigfoot Live Radio, Biscardi’s radio show along with Bigfoot Lives II which we have shown to contain some untruths on the box as well as a look at one of the “sister” videos of the one they extoll on the box.

Speaking of Biscardi, he was in Tampa recently, where he hob-knobbed with Pangea Institute’s Scott Marlowe and well known You-Tube Bigfooter, Tim Fasano.

(*Correction- Scott did not meet with Biscardi and goes on to say the following, "As you know, I have no problem meeting up with any cryptozoology personalities in a professonal or social capacity. That does not mean, however, that I am in association with them. I've met several presidents, and had "photo opes" with them -- that doesn't make me a White House staffer either." - Scott Marlowe 10/7/11)

Fasano, had released a video this past week stating Biscardi had been down to visit him, and the evidence of that you can clearly see sitting on his head. Fasano stated that Biscardi took a cell phone call and cut his trip short, because someone, had cornered a Bigfoot in a cave in North Carolina.

Well I recall Biscardi, using that same line some time ago on his Bigfoot Live Radio show, where he claimed TJ and Rob Price, one of the team members promulgating the “on the road for Biscardi” hoax, where they were investigating a Bigfoot holed up in a cave in North Carolina routine.

Sources tell us that Fasano was out and out lied to, and Biscardi headed straight home from Tampa. That’s what I called being “Dallased.” And for those who do not know what I mean, see Dallas Gilbert’s and Wayne Burton’s film, “Not Your Ordinary Bigfoot Movie.” Where they have, on film, a short tempered, arrogant Biscardi stating how his team is there to assist and aid Dallas and Wayne in any way possible, only to disappear after one evening in the field, unbeknownst to a bewildered and shocked Dallas Gilbert.

Henry May Review of Squatch-D Radio

It seems that Bigfoot Media reviewer Henry May took offense to the segments we did on Biscardi on the radio show. Well we don’t take offense to Henry’s review. As a matter of fact we welcome it.

And after thinking about it, I agree that I do not like using the PT Barnum of the Bigfoot world as subject matter on the radio show at all.

But there are times when information, even about Biscardi, has to be put out there as to fulfill the Squatchdetective Radio mission statement which is to Inform, Educate and Entertain.

Note entertain is last. Because people who know me, understand that information and education will ALWAYS trump entertainment. So if the information is painful to some, as even it was to me, my apologies.
If Biscardi is not so relevant, even after all his chicanery of 2005 and 2008, why is it he is still farming new sources and researchers. Ignoring him will not make him go away, matter of fact it emboldens him. And I know him better than most.

Squatchdetective Radio is a variety show, based on Bigfoot research and happenings. We interview researchers, witnesses, filmmakers, others that catch the eye of the Bigfoot community at large and break news to inform the public, with occasionally our own editorial flair. We understand that some segments are not palatable to all, but rest assured Squatchdetective Radio is a revolving door of news, information and entertainment, so any segment will eventually evolve into something a listener may enjoy.
As the longest running Bigfoot Program on BlogTalk Radio, with our ratings being consistent since 2006, I think the formula works well, at least most of the time.

Matt Moneymaker responds to the Dashcam Vid

In a communiqué to Cryptomundo.com, Matt Moneymaker responded to the claims by Sheriff Jarrard that the the video was hoaxed.

In a statement issued to Cryptomundo, Moneymaker states:

“The comments by Jarrard were not true, as we discovered while we were there. He wouldn’t take questions from us when we tried to nail down his story.

No one from the sheriff’s department went out to speak with any of the neighbors after the incident … We spoke with the neighbors though when we were shooting the episode. There was never any college students living in the area, and there was no photo of college kids with a gorilla costume. Jarrard story sounded unlikely from the beginning, and apparently it didn’t happen.

None of the other sheriffs had heard about this story that Jarrard told to a reporter. It seems he came up with the story to quell any fear that local people might have about a monster in the woods, and to prevent hunters from going to look for one.” – Matt Moneymaker - 6/1/11

While I believe that may be true, we have no evidence that the sheriff did make up the story, and quite frankly without evidence, and jumping to conclusions, that’s a pretty tall order. And the article in January was not the first account of the Sheriff’s investigation I had read, only the first one I had come across in a while, which is why I did not showcase the video, on Squatchdetective.com.

The unfortunate fact is, that the program stated there was no investigation done, when in fact there was one, at least claimed, by the sheriff. Whether you believe it or not, have the gumption to put it out there, instead of waiting for people to cry foul. Saying none existed, and to ignore the statements of a duly elected official, just wrecks the credibility of the show.

I am a Bigfoot believer. And although, I want this evidence to be true, we need intellectual honesty, not hiding claims because of one’s belief. That’s what defines a “documentary series,” versus a propaganda film. Let the audience decide. I know the truth and people while forgetful eventually get to the truth.

Just my advice.

Media Roundup… Well…here we go!

Well, I watched the Animal Planet, “Finding Bigfoot” preview last night.

Here’s some of my off the cuff thoughts.

The Animal Planet show begins with some great premises. And looks to be really the first of its kind, aside from the Travel Channel’s, “Mysterious Encounters,” which was produced by Whitewolf Productions, whereas this program is produced by Ping Pong Productions for Animal Planet.

Very interesting, and like the recreation stuff. Bragging about firsts in a field, where there are none, except discovery of the creature’s existence, seem a bit self-deprecating. We do not hear any of the other teams on shows of this nature claiming anything, except their willingness to get to the bottom of the mystery.

Sometimes less is more.

Perhaps it would have been better received, Matt had another team member say it, rather than himself.

The site Animal Planet had on the program has on the show makes some other interesting claims, including Matt being the first to be the first to do various Bigfooting firsts.

Enough about claims. I have a slight beef with the truth of one of the major pieces of the show last night.

But a note of caution, in television, a five minute interview can be turned into a snippet, so as far as comments made, well they can very well be taken out of context or turned.

The program itself wasn’t bad, it had some science to it, which I know will make the mainstream scientists cry, “pseudo-science.” But there were some interesting finds, however I personally would have liked to see an evidence review at the end of the show, perhaps analyzing audio, or tracks, or even their thermal images.

However my initial feelings were shock when they chose to do the Georgia Dashcam video.

I originally had interest in this, video. However, after some follow up I dropped it. And there was a good reason why law enforcement was not involved in the interviews on the Animal Planet program. To me this decries, lack of impartiality and even conveying to the audience what the Sheriff’s department had actually found. And yes, unlike told to us in the program, “there was no official investigation,” there had been one done by the Lumpkin County Sheriff, Stacy Jarrard.

In the Dahlonega Nugget, reporter Sharon Hall on did a piece on the Animal Planet visit, published on January 26th, 2011.

The article recounts what Sheriff Stacy Jarrard had to say,

“Jarrard said he went out the next day to question homeowners in the area. At the first house he stopped at, he says, there were two young men, students at North Georgia College & State University, who were ‘acting really nervous. You could see their hearts were beating really fast,’ he says.

The two did not admit to the prank right away, but later in the week they copped to one of them donning a gorilla suit and running across the road in front of vehicles on the night in question. Jarrard says he even has a photograph of the two boys with the gorilla suit.”

To me it is not the fact that this could be explained as one potential explanation, but the fact that it was stated, “there was no investigation, since there was no crime,” seems to be deceitful at best.

Although, I will be a faithful follower and look for some neat things to come out of the show, this fact makes me want to fact check what Ping Pong productions is putting out there as fact.

Often in programs such as these, it is the production companies that do conduct a lot of the fact checking and production always moves fast, so perhaps it was an oversight, but in my opinion, it was a huge oversight.

More Biscardi Hijinks on Film

Yes that’s right, our hoaxer from the west coast, has finally released Bigfoot Lives II, which in actuality is a better researched film than the first. Of course who knows what add on’s the promoter will add to trash any scientific value at all of the film.

If you’re looking for fresh material, forget it, the locations they speak of were investigated three and four years ago, prior to Biscardi’s involvement with the Georgia Hoax.

What I do know is, that if I am in it, in any way, Biscardi has set himself up for a lawsuit. In January of this year, I informed him he did not have a valid release for me to appear in audio or film format and revoked my photographic release.

On the back of the box, it states “First Time, Never-Before-Seen Footage of the Creature.” From Paris, Texas and was one of Mike Sells many films of a “Bigfoot.” More than likely a modified Ghillie suit.

Well as we will show on my YouTube page this evening, that is not true at all. He’s been pimping the video to anyone and everyone that will give it air time. Never-before-seen? Hogwash.

Because the movie is copyrighted, we cannot show the video, however we have obtained another video from the series, and of course Biscardi took the grainiest, best looking one for his movie. But the video I have in possession shows an awkward person in a Ghillie suit climbing over a fence twice and running.

This weeks round up (5/19/11)

What a great week it has been. This past week was the Ohio Bigfoot Conference, and although I chose to sit out the speakers as it was “standing room only,” my highlight was connecting with old friends, in person and meeting a few of the people cavorting in the radio show chat rooms these many years.

The speakers this years was an interesting line up, highlighted of course by Dr. Esteban Sarmiento.

But despite the venues few detractors, if anything it is a great time to get together and share some time with friends and fellow researchers. Is anything perfect, no….but for me the camaraderie, making some new connections and some good fun and talk about the mystery was enough for me to make the trip very worth while.

For many who don’t know I took my son with me on the trip, as I proudly, took him home from his first year in college, just the day before we departed for Ohio. He has a keen interest in the topic and even more he’s working towards a Wildlife Management degree.

The funny thing is folks kept referring to us as the Steve’s. I originally called us Steve squared.

Let’s not forget either the Steve “Indy” Pickett Memorial BBQ. As the turn out was great, and a a fitting tribute to a man who was definitely there in spirit. The reason why I say fitting, is Steve loved a good BBQ.

Of course my good friends and our BBQ Masters for the day Eric Altman and Billy Willard.

Bruce Harrington, led up the coordination and had some very fitting words about Indy, the BBQ a moment of silence for our dear departed friend and of course a toast.

And it was also a pleasure to meet my good friends families as well. There is more to this Squatching thing than just looking or the creatures itself.

Sunday night, I decided to do the Squatchdetective Radio broadcast from a quiet area of the lodge, which was a first for the show. I considered doing a live special edition, however the mood was just too festive for me to do such and the fact, Billy Willard did a live special edition Sasquatchwatch Radio edition live.

My son and I took the time to take a detour to Point Pleasant, West Virginia for a visit to Mothman country.

A visit to the museum and the TNT area and then off to home where we arrived around 3 AM Tuesday.

Now onto to some Squatch News...

Apparently last week launched upon the world was the “Alaska Video,” but was quickly dismissed by a Youtuber from Finland who pointed out the fact you can look up the sleeve of the “creature” in the film.

Of course our Entertainer from the West Coast was quick to jump on this and planned a trip to Alaska, as you guessed it, he’s hitting the road again.

The videographer, however has remained silent to all inquiries that we now of and thanks to that, Alaskan citizens can breathe easy, word on the street is that the sideshow has diverted from the 49th state.

Vermont Trail Cam Photo…

We’d like to thank everyone for their responses to the Vermont Trail Cam photo. With the conference under our belt, we will do some more camera testing to prove or disprove what exactly was in the picture.

Unlike some folks who put forth evidence, we have no qualms calling this an owl, a ghillie suit or something unknown. We do not believe it is an owl due to the fact we’ve had an optics scientist, using scientific principle to say it’s not. However, we are not above testing some more to verify the veracity of his analysis.

We are about the truth. If its an owl, it’s an owl. If it’s not…well then we have more investigation.

The Squatchdetective “slaps” an ignorant “journalist”

Sometimes I read stuff that makes my blood boil. This all has to do with the new Hall of Shame inductee, Thomas Byers and his phony video.

Now some, small time writer decides to take shots at not only the research community, but people who have seen the creature.

“In fact, that is such an incredibly specific description of an odor, which not many people could readily identify with one flare of the nostrils. The only people who can detect such a scent in a five-second span are generally the same people who have claimed to see Bigfoot, devote their lives to proving Bigfoot’s existence or have an obsession with men with an ungodly amount of chest hair.”

Writes Nick Craddock, a writer for the Kentucky Kernel, a local online newspaper, about Byers description of the smell of the creature. In fact in the Hall of Shame, it is one of my points why Byers is a hoaxer.

Of course the Squatchdetective, never afraid to throw his REAL name out there responded on the site with the following comment on Craddock’s editorial:

“It's easy to take shots at something you neither understand nor have any knowledge about. Idiots like Byers should rot, because there are people who have seen these creatures, and I'm not talking about one's in suits either. But it is so typical of human nature, to make fun of what they don't understand. I do not try to speak on "hoops," because I would be out of my element as the writer of this column is here.” –Steve Kulls

For me it is aggravating when someone ignorant on the topic, writes a journalistic piece on an item and embellishes it with his own personal ignorance.

When I write for the Examiner, I try to call it down the middle, as a good journalist should, and how I’ve been treated by several journalists. Again this article with Craddock, is Yellow Journalism at best, and he is using his column to be an internet bully.

Well now he’s heard from the Squatchdetective, let him ponder on what I said.
