Holidays are getting closer, box to Arizona sent and now I can relax for while until next week I have to store xmas food to closet.

This is one of the cookie boxes that I sent to Jeannie. I made 3 kind of cookies.
I have got her gifts already!
And cookies eaten too! Yummies! Gifts are still unwrapped.

I visited at city in Monday, shopping shopping shopping... and when I was coming back to home...took familiar buss number back but it was so dark and I couldn´t recognize scenes from window and I realized that something was wrong when weird gas station came up... I was staying in the buss maybe 5 minutes too long... so I went to tell driver that I missed my bus stop and he dropped me out so I could go to another bus stop to get back to right one...

I took photos via my cell phone in the town but photos are so grainy because of darkness..

Still lots to do before holidays, like cleaning, decorating and baking!

Christmas is getting closer and tomorrow I need to start making cookies for my friend Jeannie... We are trading gifts again this year and this year has been great to get to know her better and becoming good friends. I try to remember to take pictures of cookies and post them here..

Also we are still rearraging our things here so we have lots to do before holidays and we want to get home look more nicer.

We had snow one single day and after that we have had just rains. No snow at all!
I do afraid that soon we do not have white holidays as we had years ago. I will miss snow

Bad print shop experience

So it did happen that I find cheap priced print shop from Helsinki and I sent my collage sheets to print orders. I sent them many times for them but emails bounced back or got note that it failed.
I emailed many times if they got them or not as I didn´t heard a word after sending messages...then last message was that "he has no time to play with these collages sheets like that anymore and I should find local print shop and do them there." Why the heck he was thinking that i was playing? Because he didn´t get the pictures and even i gave her full access to my Photopucket site to get them and he didn´t seem to know how to log in???

MailPrint is the company who ruined my day, well almost... and I won´t be coming back there.

You guys failed to serve with my small order...

I have now also emailed to local family based print shop, I hope I will get better service there. =)

Getting Socialized...

I have tried to get use to being socialized lately as I have big plans to visit my best girl friend Jeannie in November 2012, she lives in Texas, USA. I have been only with my husband all these years, not having friends either.. Then I got connected with my aunties and I have met them few times now. Of course my camera settings was not right and took long time to wait that shoot.
Lively doggies hard camera objects, they comes put nose to lense or move too fast.

Last week I visited my mom, that I do not meet so often, maybe once a year and we do not live so far from each others... I took some photos there as I was asked to take... My mother breeds phalénes

And these are my first tryings with them. Not so happy for results as I didn´t use water or food oil on them first.. I am not familiar with any clay yet so I thought that these were like marshmallows when I handled them. Upper ones feels now like a fluffy cardboard... I might try these one more time and then change clay to polymer clay..I am 100% sure that it is much nicer to handle.

...is a familiar phrase in my life... I need to put my paper crafts away because I haven´t got enough room for my jewelry making materials and beads...so papers take most of my room that I have got and it ain't nice at all. So I dedicate my hobbies now to jewelry making mostly but I'm still going to make Antoinette crats, some kind of... and I need to get also small boxes for my jewelry. We´ll see.

Clays, molds and friends wanted

One thing is with Japanese sweet kits has that problem that pictures are not colored and text is in Japanese... I was yesterday crafting with my husband Mikael and I had problem to find out right clays as there was at least 5 bags of them. I opened first one and started feeling strongly that I used wrong one...and I was right. I opened white cream bag and was putting it for molds!
So I had to remove it, but back to bag it and then open the right ones... Then again...that mousse clay that I don´t like so much...it is soft yes...but it will get easily broken when you flatten it before you put it for molds. I think that they are not meant to use like polymer clay that I am now seriously think to start to use as well. But I will try Mousse clay once more, going to buy more of them and new techniques with them if I succeed then much better. Now my works are drying...

Oh, my husband is strongly that mind that I seriously need a girlfriend who would craft with me...so I am looking for girfriend, craftyones again. I don´t think that Mikael is into crafting :)

Color Sense game 2011

Few years ago I made a Color Sense game and I got pinkish colors as results.
It seems that I have changed a bit what comes to results in this year.

I still love pinkish colors very much as I found them healing colors and comforting.

I have longed sunshine for months and now I am finally getting it...welcome spring and energic feelings!

Since I am back to paper crafting business (well, just crafting) I have started to regret that I have sold my Stampin Up! stamp sets long time ago when I needed money badly. I think that very slowly I will try to get those back. They are adorable!

I must admit that I still keep playing AION =S as I got friends there...Legion is like a big family who takes care of family members (in real life I have not that family, I feel abadoned as my mother still does not talk to me even I gave her a chance to fix the situation...but no.) I am there to play for socializing and meeting new people :)

I have tried first time my Japanese fake sweet kit, it didn´t work out as I planned yet so I try more until I am good at it :) It is just that mousse clay is totally new form of clay for me...When I have succeed with it I will post you pictures.

And I wish so much that my Japanese friends are alive and healthy as I just heard that there was major earth quake and Tsunami warnings given... Be all safe!

A note: I just realized how huge it is and how much it will effect to other countries too so I hope you all are safe. Take care of yourself and beloved ones... It hurts me when I see this happening...

My shelf is built up now and I love it and want at least 2 more...
When I was unpacking my boxes yesterday I found nice things from there and I had forgotten them all so it made me really happy.

I started writing letters too that are late, sorry friends :(
Susi´s box is leaving next week :D so that is one of the things that I am happy about because....she is awesome person..

I should start working with these soon...I want more of these and Decotti as well!

I have these kits already so I am excited to try them out...desk needs to be cleaned first tho.
I will post pictures asap when I have done that.

I finally managed to do it. Sometimes I have some problems to get to town for shopping, specially if shop is not so familiar place to me. So this time I had to walk for while until I found the right place. But it was worth it and weather was lovely, I felt myself energized...now it is proven that my brains work with sunshine...any other times...they are sleeping :) I will get my shelf in Friday, they will bring it to me so I can try to organize things in here before it comes..

I took a picture from Rotuaari, which is famous walking street in Oulu, Finland..
It has lots of different kind of stores, mostly clothess, cafe´s, bookstores...

...to tell that one of our dreams has come true...!
We have finally got a sofa. Can you imagine that we have been togehter soon 13 years together and we just got a sofa.

We love it but we have not get to use to it yet :) we have not sit on it yet so much... I think that people are right when they say that sofa is that thing what makes apartment look like a home. What you think of our sofa?

Since it is new so it keeps noise when you sit on it. I think it needs pretty colored pillows too. Our apartment is quite pale with white walls (old crappy wall papers) so we need color here.

Weather is not so freezing anymore so I can´t wait to visit in furniture shop soon.

Freaking cold here in Finland lately... days can be sunny but not a word about warmth...most of days has been cold as -25C to -36C and it hurts my face when I go out so I have been mostly inside and quickly visits in grocery to get something to eat. Right now it is -21C (-11F). I really miss summer now.

Next week should be more less freezing so I am heading to get my shelf and I really can´t wait to organize my things, bedroom is full of boxes yet.

Our Valentine´s Day was just regulary day as we don´t celebrate it at all. I prefer to think my friends everyday, keep contact as much I can and pamper them with packages. To me there is no special day for showing my love to my man that I love him because I tell and show it everyday too :) I will not take anything for granted and every moment is important.

I had to clean my spirit with 2-3 people, 2 of them were my family members and one school bully from my past... results with family members is that connection is almost gone because somepeople does not take any negative feedback as chance to understand or admit that they did wrong...and with school bully who used to be my pal once...I told her what damaged she did and she apologized and we talked a bit... what this all caused to me? I feel that I start finally to HEAL inside my heart and spirit. I have got support from my friend Jeannie and my aunt...not to forget my man either. All damages can´t not be healed or removed but I start finally accepting myself little by little. That will be a small change to my life...If I now would stop hurting so much.

So, my moving is finally all over and my old flat is cleaned etc.

It is time to organize my things in this apartment where I moved back.

My paper crafting materials are still in boxes as I need to buy cabinet for them where I can keep my things.. so this is what i am going to buy, what you think?

I am going to buy 2 of these and I wonder if should put one shelf between my tables (i have 2 tables) or both in other side in paper crafting table..

Right now I am so excited and inspirated of collage sheets that I have seen on internet, but they are all printable. Etsy is too tempting place for crafters, I can tell!

I have been unpacking my things here now, there is still lots to do before I can say that I am settled down...But I will get there.. My worktable will be now in bedroom so I have limited space, just need to get a cabinet and closet with shelves. Beads for cabinet and paper crafts for closet.

Marie Antoinette is popular topic now between collage artists and home makers. There is all kind of crafts with Marie, shabby chick home decors and we can´t forget France itself. This phenomenom has caught me too, I love French things, pastel colors (always loved them), crafting and wanna taste also Macarons too.

Whole New Year´s day was about sleeping so I am up again middle of night and blogging here.

Yesterday I got big huge package from Jeannie, Arizona...I didn´t except that big package but boys, that was a real surprise and best gift in this year. Got lots of beads (custom made beads as I love Pochacco and My Melody in general so they goes to my private collection for sure and blue center piece pendant is from my drawings..

Thank you, my friend Jeannie..You are so generous and these all made me so happy!

Tomorrow I will post pictures of Susi´s packages :) as there will be little more light to take pictures..

New Year promises? Hmm...saving money for trip to USA which should be in next year, more beads and crafts and getting a life in better direction :) and staying as postitive person as always..

Hi all

Time is almost 3 am and I am awake as my sleeping rhytmn is upside down and my eyes have been so tired and irritated lately. So here I am middle of night, listening to music and trying to find my artistic inspiration back.

I have something in my mind that I would like to even try but afraid to start messing around. In our home we do not have any photos at all of ourselves or family members but I am interested in modifying photoframes! If anyone of you remember seeing my post of Prima Flowers...well, I still love them and I have got new ideas for them and it feels good.

I like also other kind of fabric flowers that I can use for crafting so I am always looking for nice looking flowers and ribbons (lace, satin, velvet..)

My life seems to change little by little in the future so I have bigger plans at the moment...just wishing to meet couple of friends in USA and go to shopping... Also I am SO interested of American fleamarkets findings.

I am not usually up in the mornings but now I am :)
It is freezing outside, -21C / -5,8F and my skin is so sensitive that I can feel it even I am inside the building.

For 6 months I have been playing AION (mostly killing, grinding, questing and doing instances) but now I feel that playing period is getting over and it is time to do more creative than that.
I have found lovely people from game (my legion mates) but I can´t just play and sleep all the time so this change is must now. So when my playing time is up I do not plan to purchase more time for now.

Holiday season is getting so soon, so I have lots to do yet like making cakes, decoratings and I am also midle of moving back to Mikael (yes, we divorced once but we got back together...sometimes you know after crisis that another person is the right person for you).

I still do love writing letters and swapping gifts with my friends, I guess that this thing is not going to change :)

Hi all

I haven´t posted for long time on this blog...simply that nothing new has happened actually, fewer swaps too as situation required that..

I am still into beading and penpalling...and I dedicate to make jewelry too.
Got few new friends and found finally a friend who shares same dreams with me and
talk with me about jewelry making and lampworking. I never had that kind of friend before.
So this new friend gave me back my hope and dreams :)

Summer here in Finland has been hot (too hot for me) and humid lately so I have had problems to sleep. I will try to get more back to updating...
