Rajev Paul said, “I have been into writing poems for around 10-15 years. Juhi is a dear friend. When I said, I am writing serious poem and I want you to come and see it. She came and read the poems and she liked it and this is how it all began. I’m happy that Nikhil Jain agreed to host this wonderful evening of poetry at la Patio.”

Some of Rajev's poetry from this book have been composed as songs and one of those called "Uljha Sa Rehta Hun" has been nominated for an International award IndieGo. "Uljha Sa Rehta Hoon" was used by the band Shadow to compose a song. The song won the International Award in four categories -- Asian Champion of the Year 2012 (Special Jury award), Best Electro/Dance act, Best Pop Song and the best freaking act in the universe (Special jury award). “Incidentally, Juhi Chawla told me that my poems are very lyrical and can make for very good songs. So when Uljha was nominated, Juhi was like ‘didn’t I tell you’,” smiles Rajev. He also reveals that many people have approached him to use his songs.

“Vineet and Rajan contacted me through Facebook and told me they wanted to use my poem, Uljha, to compose a song. In spite of the fact that I was very skeptical, I gave them a nod,” says Rajev. Apart from lyrical contribution, the actor has also rendered his voice to the composition. “I read out a few verses of the poem.” And in fact, now he is all ready to launch an album with Shadow, which will feature Uljha and six more poems from Mumbai, Mohabbat Aur Tanhai.

Popular small screen actor Rajev Paul has been attracted to the career option of acting from a very tender age. He enrolled himself in an acting school. Rajev Paul terms `Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii` as the greatest turning point of his career. His character in that soap was gradually built up instead of showing it as out and out villainous. He also featured in the popular soap "Swabhimaan". On a personal note he is married to a well-known television actress Delnaaz.

LYTD LOVE YOU TO DEATH RELEASING ON 3RD FEB 2012

'Love You To Death' is a wild, whacky comic thriller in 'Hinglish' that has a laugh at the crazy times we live in. Triggered partially by newspaper stories of greed, it includes a bunch of bumbling murder attempts. Plus a doctor who is a 'sexpert' by day, a rockstar by night. A theatre director who also organises 'supari' deaths. A spectacular dog funeral with dogs of all castes and 'breeds' in attendance!

There's Sonia who's rich, who loves her dog. Her dog has human problems including anorexia and insomnia. Both receive therapy in the form of crystals and herbal teas from an attractive, manipulative therapist. The therapist is having an affair with Sonia's father-in-law. Sonia's husband Atul and his mom are driven by greed and ambition. A Russian Israeli arms dealer (who's son is a 'peacenik') has a business proposal. Atul wants to set up an arms factory with him even as he personally suffers from 'missile failure'. A hilarious scene with the 'sexpert' ensues.

Sonia meets a born-again Indian, an 'eco-warrior' who's dream is to build low cost solar panels for every village in the country. Atul and his mother plot two murder attempts. The film culminates in an art gallery with loads of blank guns, a single loaded pistol and some unexpected results!

The talented ensemble cast includes Chandan Roy Sanyal, Suhasini Mulay, Sheeba Chadha and introduces a new lead actress, Yuki Ellias.

Instead of Bollywood stars we have a story, a script and some outstanding performances. The film has been screened in 7 festivals in India, the United States and Canada; it won an Audience Award in Anchorage too.

Chhota Chetan (1998) was the First ever 3D Indian Movie now this is second time in Bollywood a Movie which is totally shoot in 3D. Veena Malik has finally grabbed a major role in 3D horror movies “Mumbai 125 Km”. It can be Veena Malik’s boldness, talent or popularity by which she was given priority on other Indian actresses to be in 3D movie.

"After a smashing hit, many questioned my decision to make a Hindi 3D movie. But I haven’t forgotten Chota Chetan (1998) that I watched as a kid,” says Madhukar, who two years ago had directed another ghost story, A Flat (2010), that was a debacle.

Isn’t Madhukar taking a risk by casting the errant actor in his chiller-thriller?

The director admits that when even though Veena fit the role but she promised me that she would give the challenging role her best shot. And after working with her, I’ve realised that she’s a dedicated actor,’ he says.

Veena was so excited about the film she said: "It's a 3D horror film with Telugu filmmaker Hemant Madhukar, and it's really hard to shoot. It’s a 3D film, not like the other 3D films in Hindi where the 2D format is converted into 3D. We are shooting in 3D which means every shot takes hours sometimes. It's really time consuming because I am playing both the 'thriller' and 'horror' element of the film."

The trend of 3D movies is highly appreciated in Hollywood and so it was adapted by Bollywood as well.

Hosting one of the biggest reality shows in the world coming to India for the first time has been an amazing journey for Samir Kochar. Survivor as a show has been successfully running in many countries across the world. It has completed 22 seasons in the US where the host for the series Jeff Probst has won 4 back to back EMMY's as best reality host.

Let's hear about this show straight from the Kochar's Mouth!

When Miditec approached me for host I was very kicked with the idea of being marooned on an island for 2 months. Being an outdoor person, living on a beachside, snorkeling, water sports rock climbing, scuba got me excited. Had no idea the kind of journey it would turn out to be. Truly a life changing 2 months they were, and 3 days away from seeing it all come together premiering on star plus on the 6th of Jan 2012 I am on cloud nine. Couldn't have asked for the year to start off in a better way.

400 TV experts have been setting up this show for the last 8 months. It was twice as hard because to get to the caramoan islands one has to catch a flight to Manila, and then catch a domestic flight to the city of Naga, travel by road for 2 hrs to a port, sit on a boat travel 4 hrs into the Pacific Ocean when you reach a Caramoan. Then Tavel another hour by road to get to the village of Gota which was our base. The Philippine government has actually constructed a resort with 200 wooden GABANAS for the crew to shoot this show. Took about 24 hours to get there and bad weather would not make the journey sometimes longer. We were at the mercy of nature.

In the 2 months I stayed there I didn't see a car, my mode of transport was a jet ski or a motorboat that took us from one island to the other. Was on a kayak every evening which was my work out routine and snorkeling made me fall in love with the world under water. Saw dolphins, stingrays, jellyfish, water snakes and a whole other world of marine life that blew my mind. There were days of serious hardship while I was on the island, we went through hurricanes with winds that would nearly throw you off; we caught a 7 foot python on the beach we stayed at. Value Valu certain kind of a sea snake which is amongst the top 10 poisonous snakes in the world lived in the waters we were at. Valu means 8 and if this snake were to bite a person would die in 8 minutes or 8 seconds. Luckily I survived all of that.

The contestants were divided into 2 tribes. 11 celebrities’ vs 11 commoners. Kept on 2 different islands who were given nothing but 2 pairs of clothes, a pair of shoes and they had to survive. I was the only person from the outside they would interact with, lack of food and tough living conditions were not easy for them to survive in. Living away from the comforts of their homes, families didn't make their life easier. They would sometimes cry in front of me, someday get super excited when they'd win rewards. Wasn’t easy at times for me to see them go through the arduous 45 day journey where survival meant winning challenges and also playing the cards right at every moment in order to last longer than the others. Some of them lost 15 to 20 kgs in 45 days. This was as real as it got.

Wasn't easy for me and the entire crew as well. Have climbed mountains to shoot for links, stood in the hot sun for sometimes 5 hours at a stretch while the contestants would compete in the challenges. When I came back my wife could not recognize me as I was burnt and tanned beyond repair. Had to stay indoors for a week to look normal. Remember there was a day when we were on a motorboat and there was a rogue wave, 7 footer that came and knocked us over. Luckily we managed to get back on and make it back safely. We lost a lot of equipment but that's just the way things were.

Would not change the experience for anything and now the only hope is that people in India and worldwide like what we've done and see the show for its true spirit of survival. 22 Indians 45 days 1 survivor. This is garner fructice presents Survivor India. Jo tikega it'd ass likhega!!!

On the movie front, I just finished shooting with Vikram Bhatt. Did a special appearance In Dangerous Ishq with karishma kapoor in Jodhpur. My first ever 3D experience. Release is lined up for next year.

Hosting the horse racing circuit for India. R1 on ten sports as well. Just finished hosting the 1000 Guinness and the Casino Royal Indian 2000 Guinness.

Will also host the Mumbai marathon this year.

It was one of the most memorable evening with the very graceful Tao pochon lynch performing on the satge in her heels and best of attire which took away everybody by the surprise

The highlight of the event was Aditya Raj kapoor performance on Baar Baar Dekho song as a tribute to late Shammi Kapoor along with Renuka Shahane. Sandip and Jesse opened the show with their performance followed by highlight of the evening which was Tao and Sandip who received standing ovation by all the celebrities present for the evening.

Hema malini mentioned that she was touched by Tao's performance and said she didnt look 94 and proved dance has no age ba.

Madhoo Shah hosted the special evening and did a great job. Sushmita Sen was there for Tao and Sandip. Jesse said she was amazed at Mam Tao's dedication and poise and grace at this age and touched her
feet saying this is what one does in India to give respect. Sushmita Sen also humbly touched Tao's feet.

It was a fanatastic winter evening where the performances kept all warm and on the toes.

The 94-year old young Tao Porchon-Lynch, Master Yoga teacher, danced with ace Ballroom dance specialist Sandip Soparrkar at Sheesha Sky Lounge, Andheri West. The world’s oldest dancer Tao, an ex Hollywood actor and super model of yore, made her moves in high heels and short skirts as she sways to perfection with Master Soparrkar. Tao also gave Yoga demo and demonstrated Yoga dance and was felicitated by Chief Guests actresses Hema Malini and Sushmita Sen.

With actress Madhoo turning compere for the first time in her, the evening
promises to be a very exciting one with couples including Aditya Raj Kapoor
with Renuka Shahane; Amit Ahlawat and Jesse Kaur; Smiley Suri and Nakul
Mehta showcasing their ballroom dancing skills. Vijayshree will give a
classical performance. Ajay De's wife Ryoko De will also show her moves.

Actress Hema Malini said, “Being a dancer, it is fascinating to see a dancer like Tao matching steps with youngsters so effortlessly. Tao was an actress in England, France and the USA (under contract to MGM) in the 1940’s and 50’s, wrote screenplays and made documentaries in the 60’s and 70’s.Her life in India encompasses many historic events. There aren’t many people still alive who witnessed first-hand some of the events Tao has. She made several documentaries in India including, "To Light A Candle," about 100 year- old philanthropist, Dr. Wealthy Fisher and her work in education and
literacy in Luck now. Tao also worked for Unitel and helped in their efforts to try to introduce television to India in the 1950’s. Her reminiscences regarding her life in India will be detailed in her forthcoming book.

Tao’s philosophy is “There is nothing we cannot do if we harness the power within us.” Her yoga principles and practices will be appreciated by current and future generations. Her current passion, in addition to yoga, is ballroom dancing and she is an award winning world-class dancer.

Tao has recently published her first meditation book, Reflections: The Yogic Journey of Life. This important book includes several guided meditations. As a bonus, an added CD of GTao's meditations with music by Valerie Romanoff, lends an extra dimension to her words of wisdom.

Pakistani actress in Bollywood Veena Malik has discarded the reports about her acknowledging posing nude for International magazines and Hollywood assignments. The reality girl has claimed that she has been misquoted and that she would never do anything which would tarnish her reputation.

Veena revealed that she has already shunted the offers given to her by renowned International magazines to pose nude. A source close to Veena Malik has confirmed that she did get offers from the Playboy, Sun UK and Zoo magazine with a huge amount of money but she refused to pose nude.

She added, "I have been misquoted by a media agency that I was willingly to do anything if I was offered Hollywood films as the working culture was different from Indian and Pakistani films".

Veena did quote, “When I’m in Hollywood I would do what is expected of me within their industry. I’m an entertainer after all". "But this doesn't mean that I would go nude for work. How can one reach to any such conclusions", clarified Veena who is presently in Dubai.

Sensuous sexy Sayali Bhagat and Shiney Ahuja’s comeback film, ‘Ghost’ has kept the audiences spellbound with its spine chilling thrill.

The first horror film of 2012 action by debutante director Puja Jatinder Bedi takes place in a hospital and audiences love the action involving doctors, interns, nurses, forceps & scalpels. The film stars Shiney Ahuja as a detective and Sayali Bhagat in stellar roles whereas the lead character of Ghost is played by a Russian actress Julia Bliss. Julia, a gymnast was chosen for the role as a lead actress because of the stunts involved. The Indian film audiences are happy to see an acrobatic ghost for the first time ever.

The audiences are on the edge of the seat right from the beginning when a doctor on duty does the “naughty-naughty” with a nurse in the hospital before the resident ghost bumps one of them off. Audiences know what to expect — loads of sex and gore. Fans have loved Shiney Ahuja, a detective who goes to work driving topless cars and those sports bikes from Dhoom without a helmet. They have also loved Sayali Bhagat quote random paragraphs from the Bible before setting it up for a crucifixion scene involving a certain Mary. The serial killing ghost who specialises in mutilating body parts and pulling out the heart is scary. Then, there's the science versus religion, sceptic versus believer debate. Dance choreographer Sandip Soparrkar has a guest appearance and the audiences have loved his debut and want more of him.

Shiney Ahuja says, “Ghost is a horror film with an aspect of mystery. Audience keep wondering till the end that will happen next. However, at heart Ghost is a love story, which is the soul of the film. In the past, I have done another thriller film Bhool Bhulaiyaa, but Ghost is very different from it and I am happy with its release. When I look at a script, I don't go by its genre. It is the story line that matters to me. Gangster was offered to me as an action thriller, but I saw a beautiful love story in it. For me, Bhool Bhulaiyaa was also a love story of Siddharth and Avni and rest was just a part of their story. Similarly, it was the script that attracted me to do 'Ghost' and not the genre of the film.”

Puja Bedi’s film has God and Devil, represented by an immortal spirit, battling each other. Puja Bedi says, “My film urges the youth to connect to their Power within. Portrayed in the most dangerous encounters between good and evil, audiences will experience for the first time in Indian Cinema the most spine-chilling brutal butchering. The film has nearly twenty five minutes of computer Graphics executed over a period of eleven months by Prime Focus, a company of international caliber. There are sequences and animation that will blow audiences. In the horror space an exceptional amount of achievements in terms of ghost make up, eyes, sequences of ghost multiplication et al. Creation of bats, files, beetles etc, etc. Another first will be that the film intelligently incorporates and adapts some chapters from the Bible.”

A revenge-seeking spirit, who has a soft corner for hearts, is busy at work in a hospital. So the ghastly ghost rips out the heart of her victims. Dr Suhani (Sayali) discovers the body of one such victim and there lies her connect to the case. Enter investigating officer Vijay (Shiney) who is pursuing this as a profession only because he was fascinated by comics as a child, he explains to Sayali, instead of ‘investigating’ the case. Two more ‘ghostly’ murders turn up in the hospital while the lead pair is trying hard to show some sparks of a blooming romance, dancing away in nightclubs and trying to make coffee blindfolded. At that time, it’s us who need the blindfolds though, as we wonder if that’s how the director tried making this film too. Along the way, somehow Shiney also discovers that he is suffering from retrograde amnesia and that he can’t remember anything about a few years of his life after he had participated in a Roadies kind of rip-off show Sadak Chap (so much for being creative). As for the ghost, the spirit on its attack is accompanied by a prototype of Yamraj, but this one’s part saint, part devil representing the good and evil.

The five songs include ‘Aaja Khatam Sabr kar de’ sung by Sunidhi Chauhan is the most sensual and sexy track and reminds you of Helen of yesteryears. The rock track is also on an equal footing with Shiney into song “Kahan Hai Tu” sung by Sharib Sabri. Another track is ‘Salaame’ which ispeppy and hummable by Shaan sung with a cool attitude, Jalwanuma sung by Toshi Sabri is a soft romantic track with Arabic guitar, Finally Dil ke liye is sound like a big track sung by Javed Ali.

The prosthetic make up was done by experts and it took them hours to complete it and when they finished they were scared of their own handiwork. The crucifixion scene was so real and hard hitting that it sent shivers running down the spines of the cast and crew. Viewers will need a strong heart to watch this scary film. In fact, while watching the rushes, a crew member fainted and several crew members complained of being unable to sleep. They complained of seeing Mary’s face again and again and it scared them.

The Prosthetic Make Up with Anil Pemgirikar masks was done and each ghost get up used to take 3-4 hours per day. Anil dada would have at least 4-5 ghost get ups ready. Other characters in film such as the ward boy had their nose and face fully done with prosthetic. A veteran in the line of prosthetic Anil dada had the back up from the German based Kryolan make up who had sponsored the prosthetics given the theme of the film.
