7 DIFFERENCES POPE FRANCIS HAS MADE IN ONE APPEARANCE.

1. Changed the golden throne by a wooden chair... Something more appropriate for the disciple of a carpenter. [Jesus Christ the carpenter Jew did not use a chair. Jews did not use chairs before. They reclined when eating like the photo below. That one is more accurate than the Leonardo da Vinci painting. So this one...Stumped!]

2. Did not want the gold-embroidered red stole, Heir of the Roman Empire, nor the red chasuble...
[Red is the color of the popes and cardinals to symbolize the color of the blood of Christ and the martyrs, from which the Church was born. The red in their garbs especially that of the papal stole means THAT, martyrdom! Check facts first. Oh by the way, the Roman Empire did not use stoles.]

3. Uses same old black shoes, not the classic red. [John Paul used brown. So?]

4. Uses a metal cross, not of rubies and diamonds. [Because crosses with rubies and diamonds are for choir dresses. Francis never wore his choir dress. Better Google it to know what choir dress is. Duh!]

5. His papal ring is silver, not gold. [Uhmm... not this one? That's Pope Francis hand and finger receiving his ring. Base metal is silver plated in gold. Much like Benedict's ring which was plated also in gold. So????]

6. Uses the same black pants under the cassock, to remember that he is a another priest. [Same black pants??? Never washes them? Ha! Wow! Black pants are a mark of a priest. No wonder these guys look odd. I think are not wearing the standard issued black pants from the diocese, no?]

This one is in khaki, whenever he is not running or whenever he is dragged by the police for causing some trouble

This guy is busy trying desperately so hard to look good he only cares about his jeans and posing with one hand on the floor and an onion-like haircut.

This guy would rather look like your Prosperity Gospel Protestant preacher than be a Catholic priest. Hey! He preaches how to be wealthy! His best proof for the success of his preaching? himself.

This guy is busy playing with the hosts he needs to wear his play clothes!

This guys are so homey they need to get down and comfy and do whatever they planned to do that day...Hang a stole on your shoulder so people would think you are a priest...then when they believe you, go say the Mass.

A misunderstanding over one of Pope Francis’ titles, published in the 2013 Pontifical Yearbook, caused a media frenzy this morning. [this was a few days ago.] The Bishop of Rome, Francis and the Pope Emeritus, Ratzinger, both appear in the 2013 edition of the yearbook [as in all yearbooks of each diocese where the emeritus in still alive] which was presented in the Vatican this morning. It seemed initially as though Bergoglio had renounced the title of “Sovereign of the Vatican City State”. But a message on the popular Papa Ratzinger Blog read: “later on, however, the Vatican Press Office confirmed he will be keeping the title. It was hard to imagine the Vatican transforming itself from a constitutional monarchy into a Parliamentary Republic.” [run by Masons! Oooooo....here come the conspiracy theorists!]

The reference to Rome in the papal title on the front page of the 2013 Papal Yearbook which was presented to the Pope this morning, is new. Part of it reads: “See of the Vicar of Jesus Christ, [Uhm....not See of Peter anymore? Hmm... semantics.] Successor of St. Peter, Prince of the Apostles”. The yearbook attributes the title of pontiff to two individuals: Francis “Bishop of Rome and Supreme Pontiff of the Universal Church, Primate of Italy and Archbishop and Metropolitan of the Roman Province” and Benedict XVI “Supreme Pontiff Emeritus”, setting the record straight on an issue that has caused a great deal of dispute over the past three months. [Uhm... it was settled after his resignation. I never knew it wasn't settled yet.]

Both names appear on the yearbook’s Diocese of Rome page. After the reference to Pope Francis, the yearbook specifies: “The spiritual leadership of the Diocese of Rome is entrusted to His Eminence Cardinal Agostino Vallini, His Holiness’s Vicar General; the Vatican City is entrusted to His Eminence Cardinal Angelo Comastri, pro tempore Archpriest of St. Peter's Basilica, Vicar General of His Holiness for Vatican City State. Benedict XVI’s title “Supreme Pontiff Emeritus” is accompanied by a biographical note which ends: “Resigned February 28th, 2013”.

Ratzinger’s name has also been included in the list of Supreme Pontiffs, above John Paul II. His election and resignation dates appear next to his name. A footnote has been added to the latter, specifying that it refers to the date of Ratzinger’s resignation (28/II/2013). Francis’ name appears after Benedict XVI in the list, along with his election date. The Vatican Press Office stressed that Pope Francis is still “Sovereign of the Vatican City State”. The Press Office had initially distributed a photocopy of page 1 of the Pontifical Yearbook, which contained an abbreviated version of the Pope’s title: Bishop of Rome, Supreme Pontiff of the Universal Church, Primate of Italy, Archbishop of the Province of Rome. Benedict XVI’s official title (Supreme Pontiff Emeritus) also appears on the same page, hence why the Vatican Press Office sent out a copy of the page.

The deputy editor of the Vatican Press Office, Fr. Ciro Benedettini, later showed journalists the page with the complete list of Francis’ papal titles, which is no different to the list of titles given to Benedict XVI in the 2012 edition, when he was still Pope. So Pope Francis’ titles are: Vicar of Jesus Christ, Successor of St. Peter, Prince of the Apostles, Servant of the Servants of God and Sovereign of the Vatican City State. The titles given to Francis and Benedict XVI appear on the Pontifical Yearbook’s Diocese of Rome page.

Since it's Labor Day, and workers eat always Boodle Fight style, might as well do it while we are still wearing our liturgical vestments.

Nothing wrong with eating with workers to show your solidarity with them, but by GOD! Why can't you not just take off your liturgical vestments first before you take your first handful of rice and meat?!

You wanna be identified as a priest while eating? Sure! Just take off your vestments which are worn ONLY during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass!

Or is it because underneath those vestments is nothing but plain layman's clothes?

No drama or media value if you eat looking like the workers you are in solidarity with no?

So, go ahead, and disrespect the holy vestments!

Anyway, God does not mind. Or does he?

When it comes to receiving Communion, most people prefer the indult rather than the norm.

Yup. Communion in the Hand is an indult, and not a UNIVERSAL INDULT.

But when it come to the Mass, most people would like the norm rather than the indult even if this indult is UNIVERSAL.

FYI. The liturgical discipline of receiving communion only in the tongue in Papal Masses remains in force even if the discipline was instituted by Pope Benedict XVI. Pope Francis has not rescinded it.

Pope Francis to sisters: Get back on track

Vatican City, May 8, 2013 / 10:01 am (CNA/EWTN News).- Pope Francis told leaders of women’s religious orders today that their vocations can only be recognized within the fold of the Church.

“Your vocation is a fundamental charism for the Church's journey and it isn't possible that a consecrated woman or man might 'feel' themselves not to be with the Church,” he told around 800 female superiors general on May 8. [ In other words, "You better tow the line!" Ha! Serves them right!]

The International Union of Superiors General has been meeting for its general assembly in Rome since May 3.

Present this year were more than 150 American sisters, some of whom also belong to the Leadership Conference of Women Religious, which has had a strained relationship with the Vatican since it was required in April 2012 to undergo reform.

Bishop Leonard Blaire of Toledo carried out a four-year review and found “serious doctrinal problems” and the need for the LCWR to undergo renewal.

The assessment of the leadership conference expressed concern over “certain radical feminist themes incompatible with the Catholic faith” that were in some presentations sponsored by the conference. [Like pressing for women's ordination, support of contraception and situational abortion, support for homosexual unions...]

One such address discussed religious sisters “moving beyond the Church” and beyond Jesus.

In addition to highlighting the need for the organization to provide adequate doctrinal formation for its members, the report also voiced concern over letters from LCWR officers suggesting “corporate dissent” from Church teaching on topics such as the sacramental male priesthood and homosexuality.

Pope Francis seemed to address this history during today’s meeting. He told the sisters about the “‘feeling’ of being with the Church,” given to them through baptism.

It is a “feeling,” he said, “that finds its filial expression in fidelity to the Magisterium, in communion with the pastors and Successor of Peter, Bishop of Rome, visible sign of that unity.” [Oooooo....the old male dude telling the sweet old sisters what to do. Another medieval stick of fear and violence eh?]

To be otherwise, he said, would be against their vocation.

“It is an absurd dichotomy to think of living with Jesus but without the Church, of following Jesus outside of the Church, of loving Jesus without loving the Church,” he stated.

“Feel the responsibility that you have of caring for the formation of your institutes in sound Church doctrine, in love of the Church, and in an ecclesial spirit,” Pope Francis added.

The Vatican’s doctrine department put Archbishop J. Peter Sartain of Seattle in charge of working with the sisters to reform the organization for a period of up to five years.

On May 5, Cardinal João Braz de Aviz, who heads the Vatican’s Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life, made waves when he told the sisters gathered in Rome that he was not consulted about the doctrine department’s decision on reforming the LCWR.

His words drew a rare May 7 statement from the doctrine office, which aimed to dismiss the idea of a “divergence” between the doctrine and religious congregations. [Get that cardinal back in line too!]

These sisters will never admit to their mistakes because all these divergence and radical dissent are for them their "response to the call of the times", the "promptings of the Holy Spirit" upon them. These sisters think that they are the new Joan of Arc or Catherine of Siena or Teresa of Avila who would usher in the change, the breath of fresh air that Vatican II so promised when the "Good" John XXIII opened the windows of the Church and let in fresh air but which Paul VI lamentably alluded "the smoke of Satan"...

These sisters think that by changing the Faith to suit the needs of the times, the whims of the devilish society who thinks not of God but against God, these sisters think that they are answering the call of God. They think that they are renewing the Church.

In fact, they are starting a revolution, a complete change of how the Church believes in for thousands of years.

Pope Francis reminded them to stay into the fold and in that One Fold, there the deposit of the Faith resides, there the True Faith is, because it is in the One Fold where the True Shepherd, Jesus, the Truth is.

This sisters try to bring in things from the outside with hopes of changing what is inside the fold.

If they want something from the outside, then let them stay outside. Why do they keep on insisting to bring in things that are not of the Church of Christ (Shoo!!! Bug of Iglesia ni Manalo!)

Like what I had been blogging about for so many years...

If you want to be like the Anglicans in terms of contraception, homosexual marriage, women's ordination... then join them!

STOP HOPING THAT IT WILL EVER HAPPEN IN THE CATHOLIC CHURCH!

Press office communique on collaboration between Congregation for Doctrine of the Faith and Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life

Cardinal Braz de Aviz thinks he can say whatever he wants to say with the new pope. He thinks that his politicking ways during the Ratzinger papacy can work it's magic in the Bergoglio papacy by showing his true colors.

Look who celebrated Novus Ordo Ad Orientem

It is none other than Lingayen Dagupan Archbishop Socrates Villegas said mass at the chapel of Tulay ng Kabataan, a new home for street children at Kalayaan Avenue Quezon City. The center was also blessed after the Mass

As you can see from the photos, the chapel is not that big and the kids were made to sit on the carpeted floor. So the archbishop was on his knees to preach his sermon. Relax GULP!

And here is the crowning photo.

Yup. That's him. Look how small the chapel is. So why put up another altar when you already have a beautiful one?

Liturgists would argue about active participation.

You need to see the face of the priest to have that???

You need to see what goes in the Mass to actually actively participate in the Mass?

Geez!

Mass ad orientem is legal and noble!

So bishops who always freak out about this...LET US HAVE THIS ARRANGEMENT!

Met a lot of politicians and candidates for next week's election...

Too tired...too hungry...10PM still had no dinner.

Went for a last stop visit to pay my respects for the deceased brother of a brother Knight.

Approached the casket...started praying.

It has been confirmed that Mike Velarde of El Shaddai movement endorse pro-RH and presidential relative BUM Aquino as a senatorial candidate of the Republic.

Read it slowly and try to let it sink in to your system.

Mike Velarde, Catholic lay evangelist (and not commissioned and wearing those entertainingly colorful jackets and not clerical collars of imaginary instituted acolytes) endorsed BAM aka BUM Aquino as senator in next week's election even though BUM publicly threw in his support for the all out distribution of billions of pesos worth of free contraceptives...a prelude to the DEATH laws to creep into our country. DEATH meaning (Divorce, Euthanasia, Abortion, Total Contraception, Homosexual Marriage).

That is what Rabid Harlot Risa Hontiveros had been championing for years and this is what BUM Aquino wants too.

Twisting Church history

I am catching up on the news after spending much of my time in the weekend with my brothers in different patron fiestas all around Metro Manila....*burp* *hick* zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.........

I read this article about the return of Pope Emeritus Benedict the Reformer to the Vatican and how he was welcomed by Pope Francis the Humble...

What caught my attention were these two paragraphs from the Religions News.com article.

According to Rebecca Rist, a specialist in church history [Specialist? There is such a title for that? Why not historian?] at the University of Reading in Britain, the two popes will have a “very cordial” relationship, unlike the 13th-century scuffles between Celestine V and his successor Boniface VIII. [Uh-huh...we know how that ended right? No? Wikipedia!!!!]

Boniface persuaded Celestine [Da hell!!!! Specialist?!?! Persuaded?!?! Celestine resigned without being forced to do so and it was not even Boniface who did that! Where in the world did she get that?!] that it was “in the best interests of the Vatican [What?! The "Vatican" was not even used during the time of St. Celestine!] for him to resign,” Rist said. But Boniface, “fearing that enduring loyalties to the former pontiff could provoke a schism,” ordered Celestine imprisoned until his death.

See what you get when you have these so called "specialists" twisting history.

And so-called "freethinkers" would just take this in, hook line and sinker...

Pope Francis' first canonization: 800 martyrs!

Pope Francis is preparing to canonise an estimated 800 Italian laymen killed by Ottoman soldiers in the 15th century. The canonisation service will be on May 12 in St Peter’s Square and it will be the first carried out by the Pontiff since he was elected in early March. [The consistory announcing the canonization of these martyrs was announced by Benedict XVI along with his decision to step down as pope in February 11.]

The killing of the martyrs by Ottoman troops, who launched a weeks-long siege of Otranto, a small port town at the most eastern tip of southern Italy, took place in 1480.

When Otranto residents refused to surrender to the Ottoman army, the soldiers were ordered to massacre all males over the age of 15.
