7 DIFFERENCES POPE FRANCIS HAS MADE IN ONE APPEARANCE.

1. Changed the golden throne by a wooden chair... Something more appropriate for the disciple of a carpenter. [Jesus Christ the carpenter Jew did not use a chair. Jews did not use chairs before. They reclined when eating like the photo below. That one is more accurate than the Leonardo da Vinci painting. So this one...Stumped!]

2. Did not want the gold-embroidered red stole, Heir of the Roman Empire, nor the red chasuble...
[Red is the color of the popes and cardinals to symbolize the color of the blood of Christ and the martyrs, from which the Church was born. The red in their garbs especially that of the papal stole means THAT, martyrdom! Check facts first. Oh by the way, the Roman Empire did not use stoles.]

3. Uses same old black shoes, not the classic red. [John Paul used brown. So?]

4. Uses a metal cross, not of rubies and diamonds. [Because crosses with rubies and diamonds are for choir dresses. Francis never wore his choir dress. Better Google it to know what choir dress is. Duh!]

5. His papal ring is silver, not gold. [Uhmm... not this one? That's Pope Francis hand and finger receiving his ring. Base metal is silver plated in gold. Much like Benedict's ring which was plated also in gold. So????]

6. Uses the same black pants under the cassock, to remember that he is a another priest. [Same black pants??? Never washes them? Ha! Wow! Black pants are a mark of a priest. No wonder these guys look odd. I think are not wearing the standard issued black pants from the diocese, no?]

This one is in khaki, whenever he is not running or whenever he is dragged by the police for causing some trouble

This guy is busy trying desperately so hard to look good he only cares about his jeans and posing with one hand on the floor and an onion-like haircut.

This guy would rather look like your Prosperity Gospel Protestant preacher than be a Catholic priest. Hey! He preaches how to be wealthy! His best proof for the success of his preaching? himself.

This guy is busy playing with the hosts he needs to wear his play clothes!

This guys are so homey they need to get down and comfy and do whatever they planned to do that day...Hang a stole on your shoulder so people would think you are a priest...then when they believe you, go say the Mass.

Have you discovered the 7th?

7. Removed the red carpet... He is not interested in fame and applause... [Was he taking a jab against John Paul II instead of Benedict XVI? I swear he is talking about the Blessed Pope and not Benedict XVI here, and here and here described as shy. Where in the hell did he get these crap?]
So what's the difference of this post to that Facebook post.

The guy who write that probably belonged to the same mold of guys who made this Facebook petition page.

Bum. Nothing to do. Didn't even bother to use their intellect to Google.

Pathetic.

Nice way to trash not only Benedict, but all the saintly popes before Benedict who wore what Benedict wore. And they look like they are not impressed.

From the Vatican Insider.

***

A misunderstanding over one of Pope Francis’ titles, published in the 2013 Pontifical Yearbook, caused a media frenzy this morning. [this was a few days ago.] The Bishop of Rome, Francis and the Pope Emeritus, Ratzinger, both appear in the 2013 edition of the yearbook [as in all yearbooks of each diocese where the emeritus in still alive] which was presented in the Vatican this morning. It seemed initially as though Bergoglio had renounced the title of “Sovereign of the Vatican City State”. But a message on the popular Papa Ratzinger Blog read: “later on, however, the Vatican Press Office confirmed he will be keeping the title. It was hard to imagine the Vatican transforming itself from a constitutional monarchy into a Parliamentary Republic.” [run by Masons! Oooooo....here come the conspiracy theorists!]

The reference to Rome in the papal title on the front page of the 2013 Papal Yearbook which was presented to the Pope this morning, is new. Part of it reads: “See of the Vicar of Jesus Christ, [Uhm....not See of Peter anymore? Hmm... semantics.] Successor of St. Peter, Prince of the Apostles”. The yearbook attributes the title of pontiff to two individuals: Francis “Bishop of Rome and Supreme Pontiff of the Universal Church, Primate of Italy and Archbishop and Metropolitan of the Roman Province” and Benedict XVI “Supreme Pontiff Emeritus”, setting the record straight on an issue that has caused a great deal of dispute over the past three months. [Uhm... it was settled after his resignation. I never knew it wasn't settled yet.]

Both names appear on the yearbook’s Diocese of Rome page. After the reference to Pope Francis, the yearbook specifies: “The spiritual leadership of the Diocese of Rome is entrusted to His Eminence Cardinal Agostino Vallini, His Holiness’s Vicar General; the Vatican City is entrusted to His Eminence Cardinal Angelo Comastri, pro tempore Archpriest of St. Peter's Basilica, Vicar General of His Holiness for Vatican City State. Benedict XVI’s title “Supreme Pontiff Emeritus” is accompanied by a biographical note which ends: “Resigned February 28th, 2013”.

Ratzinger’s name has also been included in the list of Supreme Pontiffs, above John Paul II. His election and resignation dates appear next to his name. A footnote has been added to the latter, specifying that it refers to the date of Ratzinger’s resignation (28/II/2013). Francis’ name appears after Benedict XVI in the list, along with his election date. The Vatican Press Office stressed that Pope Francis is still “Sovereign of the Vatican City State”. The Press Office had initially distributed a photocopy of page 1 of the Pontifical Yearbook, which contained an abbreviated version of the Pope’s title: Bishop of Rome, Supreme Pontiff of the Universal Church, Primate of Italy, Archbishop of the Province of Rome. Benedict XVI’s official title (Supreme Pontiff Emeritus) also appears on the same page, hence why the Vatican Press Office sent out a copy of the page.

The deputy editor of the Vatican Press Office, Fr. Ciro Benedettini, later showed journalists the page with the complete list of Francis’ papal titles, which is no different to the list of titles given to Benedict XVI in the 2012 edition, when he was still Pope. So Pope Francis’ titles are: Vicar of Jesus Christ, Successor of St. Peter, Prince of the Apostles, Servant of the Servants of God and Sovereign of the Vatican City State. The titles given to Francis and Benedict XVI appear on the Pontifical Yearbook’s Diocese of Rome page.

***

So all this brouhaha about the lost title seemingly all boils down to one thing.

Somebody forgot to type it in!

So, cool down.

He still has his titles.

Pope Francis that is.

And Benedict is Supreme Pontiff Emeritus.

Keep it cool.

I got these horrible photos here.

Since it's Labor Day, and workers eat always Boodle Fight style, might as well do it while we are still wearing our liturgical vestments.

Nothing wrong with eating with workers to show your solidarity with them, but by GOD! Why can't you not just take off your liturgical vestments first before you take your first handful of rice and meat?!

You wanna be identified as a priest while eating? Sure! Just take off your vestments which are worn ONLY during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass!

Or is it because underneath those vestments is nothing but plain layman's clothes?

No drama or media value if you eat looking like the workers you are in solidarity with no?

So, go ahead, and disrespect the holy vestments!

Anyway, God does not mind. Or does he?

Read Exodus 28.

When it comes to receiving Communion, most people prefer the indult rather than the norm.

Yup. Communion in the Hand is an indult, and not a UNIVERSAL INDULT.

But when it come to the Mass, most people would like the norm rather than the indult even if this indult is UNIVERSAL.

FYI. The liturgical discipline of receiving communion only in the tongue in Papal Masses remains in force even if the discipline was instituted by Pope Benedict XVI. Pope Francis has not rescinded it.

Unless a clear cut solution is made to address liturgical abuse around the Catholic world, we'd continue to have this kind of nonsense going all around us.

Surprisingly, makes you think why these "open-minded" liturgists are writhing in pain whenever they hear Gregorian chant.

Makes you wonder.

Vatican II says:

116. The Church acknowledges Gregorian chant as specially suited to the Roman liturgy: therefore, other things being equal, it should be given pride of place in liturgical services.

                                                                                                Sacrosanctum Concilium

What happened???

Oh well....

The interpretation and implementation of Vatican II was hijacked and the wording of the Council documents contained so many "timebombs" every Tom, Dick and Jane had his own interpretation.

We were expecting a Syllabus of Errors to come out but Pope Benedict did not...

*sigh*

On with the party.

Vatican City, May 8, 2013 / 10:01 am (CNA/EWTN News).- Pope Francis told leaders of women’s religious orders today that their vocations can only be recognized within the fold of the Church.

“Your vocation is a fundamental charism for the Church's journey and it isn't possible that a consecrated woman or man might 'feel' themselves not to be with the Church,” he told around 800 female superiors general on May 8. [ In other words, "You better tow the line!" Ha! Serves them right!]

The International Union of Superiors General has been meeting for its general assembly in Rome since May 3.

Present this year were more than 150 American sisters, some of whom also belong to the Leadership Conference of Women Religious, which has had a strained relationship with the Vatican since it was required in April 2012 to undergo reform.

Bishop Leonard Blaire of Toledo carried out a four-year review and found “serious doctrinal problems” and the need for the LCWR to undergo renewal.

The assessment of the leadership conference expressed concern over “certain radical feminist themes incompatible with the Catholic faith” that were in some presentations sponsored by the conference. [Like pressing for women's ordination, support of contraception and situational abortion, support for homosexual unions...]

One such address discussed religious sisters “moving beyond the Church” and beyond Jesus.

In addition to highlighting the need for the organization to provide adequate doctrinal formation for its members, the report also voiced concern over letters from LCWR officers suggesting “corporate dissent” from Church teaching on topics such as the sacramental male priesthood and homosexuality.

Pope Francis seemed to address this history during today’s meeting. He told the sisters about the “‘feeling’ of being with the Church,” given to them through baptism.

It is a “feeling,” he said, “that finds its filial expression in fidelity to the Magisterium, in communion with the pastors and Successor of Peter, Bishop of Rome, visible sign of that unity.” [Oooooo....the old male dude telling the sweet old sisters what to do. Another medieval stick of fear and violence eh?]

To be otherwise, he said, would be against their vocation.

“It is an absurd dichotomy to think of living with Jesus but without the Church, of following Jesus outside of the Church, of loving Jesus without loving the Church,” he stated.

“Feel the responsibility that you have of caring for the formation of your institutes in sound Church doctrine, in love of the Church, and in an ecclesial spirit,” Pope Francis added.

The Vatican’s doctrine department put Archbishop J. Peter Sartain of Seattle in charge of working with the sisters to reform the organization for a period of up to five years.

On May 5, Cardinal João Braz de Aviz, who heads the Vatican’s Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life, made waves when he told the sisters gathered in Rome that he was not consulted about the doctrine department’s decision on reforming the LCWR.

His words drew a rare May 7 statement from the doctrine office, which aimed to dismiss the idea of a “divergence” between the doctrine and religious congregations. [Get that cardinal back in line too!]

***

These sisters will never admit to their mistakes because all these divergence and radical dissent are for them their "response to the call of the times", the "promptings of the Holy Spirit" upon them. These sisters think that they are the new Joan of Arc or Catherine of Siena or Teresa of Avila who would usher in the change, the breath of fresh air that Vatican II so promised when the "Good" John XXIII opened the windows of the Church and let in fresh air but which Paul VI lamentably alluded "the smoke of Satan"...

These sisters think that by changing the Faith to suit the needs of the times, the whims of the devilish society who thinks not of God but against God, these sisters think that they are answering the call of God. They think that they are renewing the Church.

In fact, they are starting a revolution, a complete change of how the Church believes in for thousands of years.

Pope Francis reminded them to stay into the fold and in that One Fold, there the deposit of the Faith resides, there the True Faith is, because it is in the One Fold where the True Shepherd, Jesus, the Truth is.

This sisters try to bring in things from the outside with hopes of changing what is inside the fold.

If they want something from the outside, then let them stay outside. Why do they keep on insisting to bring in things that are not of the Church of Christ (Shoo!!! Bug of Iglesia ni Manalo!)

Like what I had been blogging about for so many years...

If you want to be like the Anglicans in terms of contraception, homosexual marriage, women's ordination... then join them!

STOP HOPING THAT IT WILL EVER HAPPEN IN THE CATHOLIC CHURCH!

Period.

Vatican City, 7 May 2013 (VIS) – “The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF) and the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life have for some time been collaborating on a renewed theological vision of Religious Life in the Church. The concern of the Holy See, expressed partially in the Doctrinal Assessment of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious in the United States, is motivated by a desire to support the noble and beautiful vocation of Religious so that the eloquent witness of Religious Life may prosper in the Church to the benefit of future generations.”

“The initiatives of the Holy See in this area are concerned primarily with the faith of the Church and its expression in Religious Life. The Church’s faith—in the loving plan of the Father who sent his Son to be our Saviour, in the inspiration of Sacred Scripture, in the gift of grace through the Sacraments, in the nature of the Church guided by the Holy Spirit—this faith is at the heart of the Evangelical Counsels. It motivates the passion for justice shared by so many Religious women and men, and it seeks ever to be expressed in active charity towards those most in need.”

“Recent media commentary on remarks made on Sunday, 5 May, during the General Assembly of the International Union of Superiors General by Cardinal Joao Braz de Aviz, Prefect of the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life, has suggested a divergence between the CDF and the Congregation for Religious in their approach to the renewal of Religious Life. Such an interpretation of the cardinal’s remarks is not justified. The prefects of these two Congregations work closely together according to their specific responsibilities and have collaborated throughout the process of the Doctrinal Assessment of the LCWR. Archbishop Gerhard Muller, Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, and Cardinal Braz de Aviz met yesterday and reaffirmed their common commitment to the renewal of Religious Life, and particularly to the Doctrinal Assessment of the LCWR and the program of reform it requires, in accordance with the wishes of the Holy Father.”

***

Cardinal Braz de Aviz thinks he can say whatever he wants to say with the new pope. He thinks that his politicking ways during the Ratzinger papacy can work it's magic in the Bergoglio papacy by showing his true colors.

Well, in the first place, why was he even appointed to the post in the first place? Why was he even made a cardinal?

Oh well...

We have our own in our backyard. *sigh*

Anywho...

Good to know that the Holy See addressed this issue quickly.

Now..........PUNISH THOSE ANGRY NUNS!!!

And here is the crowning photo.

Yup. That's him. Look how small the chapel is. So why put up another altar when you already have a beautiful one?

Liturgists would argue about active participation.

You need to see the face of the priest to have that???

You need to see what goes in the Mass to actually actively participate in the Mass?

Geez!

Mass ad orientem is legal and noble!

So bishops who always freak out about this...LET US HAVE THIS ARRANGEMENT!

KUDOS ARCHBISHOP VILLEGAS! Hope to see this done more in his archdiocese!

As for the critics of Ad Orientem Mass...

Well...

If you want to read more how noble and sublime praying the Mass facing the same direction is, click here.

"The Holy Mass is a prayer itself, even the highest prayer that exists. It is the Sacrifice, dedicated by our Redeemer at the Cross, and repeated every day on the altar. If you wish to hear Mass as it should be heard, you must follow with eye, heart and mouth all that happens at the altar. Further, you must pray with the priest the holy words said by him in the Name of Christ and which Christ says by him. You have to associate your heart with the holy feelings which are contained in these words and in this manner you ought to follow all that happens at the altar. When acting in this way, you have prayed Holy Mass."

                                                                                                                   St. Pius X

Tons of meetings.

Met a lot of politicians and candidates for next week's election...

Too tired...too hungry...10PM still had no dinner.

Went for a last stop visit to pay my respects for the deceased brother of a brother Knight.

Everybody look to the left!

Everybody look to the right!

Can you feel that yeah! We're paying them love....(oops! wrong one. got me singing...)

Look behind you! The Lord is in the Tabernacle you placed on the left side! As if his Presence is the same as his presence in the Written Word!

At least they got the dalmatics right.
Anywho....congrats to the new deacons!

And when you finally get ordained as priests....STOP THE LITURGICAL ABUSE!!!

Jokes galore during his homily.

Or he starts with "I have a story...." after reading the Gospel with a story aka Parable.

Welcome to the Church of Nice!

One of the many things that Vatican 2 gave to the world.

Only the popes talk about sin and living truly Christian lives...

Some bishops do.

Only a handful of priests still.

Pitiful for most of the laity.

Let's just hold hands and sing the following songs...

The glorious hippie days of wonderful exploding psychedelic colors are back!!!

And you think that the liturgical influence of Benedict XVI had any effect in the Philippines?

Sorta....Kinda...

Well...

Read it slowly and try to let it sink in to your system.

Yes.

Mike Velarde, Catholic lay evangelist (and not commissioned and wearing those entertainingly colorful jackets and not clerical collars of imaginary instituted acolytes) endorsed BAM aka BUM Aquino as senator in next week's election even though BUM publicly threw in his support for the all out distribution of billions of pesos worth of free contraceptives...a prelude to the DEATH laws to creep into our country. DEATH meaning (Divorce, Euthanasia, Abortion, Total Contraception, Homosexual Marriage).

That is what Rabid Harlot Risa Hontiveros had been championing for years and this is what BUM Aquino wants too.

So...

What makes Hontiveros different from Bum?

What makes this guy different from Velarde?

You just caused a terrible pain in the hearts of Catholics, Mr. Velarde, Catholics who have been working so hard against Bum Aquino, including all those who advocated this!

I am catching up on the news after spending much of my time in the weekend with my brothers in different patron fiestas all around Metro Manila....*burp* *hick* zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.........

Well, anywho...

I read this article about the return of Pope Emeritus Benedict the Reformer to the Vatican and how he was welcomed by Pope Francis the Humble...

What caught my attention were these two paragraphs from the Religions News.com article.

According to Rebecca Rist, a specialist in church history [Specialist? There is such a title for that? Why not historian?] at the University of Reading in Britain, the two popes will have a “very cordial” relationship, unlike the 13th-century scuffles between Celestine V and his successor Boniface VIII. [Uh-huh...we know how that ended right? No? Wikipedia!!!!]

Boniface persuaded Celestine [Da hell!!!! Specialist?!?! Persuaded?!?! Celestine resigned without being forced to do so and it was not even Boniface who did that! Where in the world did she get that?!] that it was “in the best interests of the Vatican [What?! The "Vatican" was not even used during the time of St. Celestine!] for him to resign,” Rist said. But Boniface, “fearing that enduring loyalties to the former pontiff could provoke a schism,” ordered Celestine imprisoned until his death.

See what you get when you have these so called "specialists" twisting history.

And so-called "freethinkers" would just take this in, hook line and sinker...

So much pretenders in the world.

Like the insituted acolyte (DAW!) who wears a clerical collar because it is the privilege (DAW!) of being a church organist (DAW!)....

I heard his once sing...

Makes me remember my farm trip in Batangas...

Poor cow. *sniff*

Anywho, it was yummy bulalo soup afterwards! Yeah!

The point here is: Media is so full of fact twisters and pseudo-historians, you really have to be careful who you deal with.

Church History Specialists? Instituted Acolytes?

No not this one.

Beware of a fat kid walking around wearing a clerical collar pretending that he is an instituted acolyte or that being a church organist gives him the privilege to wear clericals.

Approach with caution.

Claims to be an instituted acolyte but cannot produce one single document or photograph to prove his delusion of grandeur.

Special kid. Craving for attention.

Trapped in his clerical trappings wonderland.

Gives the traditional community a bad rep.

Seriously, this kid needs help.

In the meantime, sing along will ya?

Yup!

That is the altar with ALL of the relics of the martyrs.

Nope. Not Khmer Rouge.

It's Otranto!

***

Pope Francis is preparing to canonise an estimated 800 Italian laymen killed by Ottoman soldiers in the 15th century. The canonisation service will be on May 12 in St Peter’s Square and it will be the first carried out by the Pontiff since he was elected in early March. [The consistory announcing the canonization of these martyrs was announced by Benedict XVI along with his decision to step down as pope in February 11.]

The killing of the martyrs by Ottoman troops, who launched a weeks-long siege of Otranto, a small port town at the most eastern tip of southern Italy, took place in 1480.

When Otranto residents refused to surrender to the Ottoman army, the soldiers were ordered to massacre all males over the age of 15. Many were ordered to convert to Islam or die, but Blessed Antonio Primaldo, a tailor, spoke on the prisoners’ behalf. “We believe in Jesus Christ, Son of God, and for Jesus Christ we are ready to die,” he said, according to Blessed John Paul II, who visited Otranto in 1980 for the 500th anniversary of the martyrs’ deaths.

Primaldo inspired all the other townspeople to take courage, the late Pope said, and to say: “We will all die for Jesus Christ; we willingly die so as to not renounce his holy faith.” There were not “deluded” or “outdated,” Blessed John Paul continued, but “authentic, strong, decisive, consistent men” who loved their city, their families and their faith.

The skulls and other relics of the martyrs currently adorn the walls around the altar of Otranto Cathedral as a memorial to their sacrifice. [Imagine someone drooling at the sight of all those relics and would post a Facebook post of how lucky he was. OK. The relics are remains of the saints. OK, ok. Take a deep breath....and ask this question. Do you feel the same way in front of the exposed Blessed Sacrament? Simple question. Check your temper.] According to the archdiocese’s website, popular tradition holds that when the soldiers beheaded Primaldo, his body remained standing even as the combatants tried to push him over. Legend has it that the decapitated man stood until the very last prisoner was killed, at which point Primaldo’s body collapsed next to his dead comrades.

In 1771, the Church recognised the validity of the local veneration of Primaldo and his companions and allowed them to be called Blessed. In 2007, retired Pope Benedict XVI formally recognised [because they were not formally beatified] their martyrdom and, in 2012, he recognised a miracle attributed to their intercession. Martyrs do not need a miracle attributed to their intercession in order to be beatified. However, miracles must be recognised by the Vatican in order for them to become saints.

The miracle involved the late-Poor Clare Sister Francesca Levote. She was suffering from a serious form of cancer but was healed after a pilgrimage to pray before the martyrs’ relics in Otranto in 1980, a few months before Pope John Paul’s visit in October. She died in February 2012 at the age of 85.

In a letter published in December 2012, Archbishop Donato Negro of Otranto said that the martydom of the townnsfolk must represent a “purification of the memory of the Catholic Church and a rooting out of every possible lingering resentment, rancor, resentful policies, every eventual temptation toward hatred and violence, and every presumptuous attitude of religious superiority, religious arrogance, moral and cultural pride.” [Uh...what now? And I thought the glory of the martyrs show us their witness to the Gospel and their imitation to the ultimate act of giving up one's life for love....like Jesus Christ, the model of all Christian martyrs. Now the archbishop is saying that the martyrdom calls for the "purification of the memory of the Catholic Church...."??? Good golly! Their martyrdoms are the glory of the Church! Why rid our history of their glorious deaths?!]

Remembering Christian martyrs is an occasion to examine one’s own life and make sure it corresponds with the Gospel call to love and forgive, he added. [Uhm... archbishop. The occasion calls us to "if anyone wishes to follow me, let him take up his cross daily and follow me." I think that is the first thing that needs to come to mind. And of course forgiving those who planned your (martyr's) death like what Jesus did on the cross, and what most records of martyr's death says like of St. Thomas More, St. Maria Goretti and St. Maximilian Mary Kolbe.]

***

Tertullian once wrote that "the blood of martyrs is the seed of the Church" and it is through the witness of their death that they mirror the death of Jesus Christ, that they inspire other Christians to offer their lives for God and for His Holy Church.

By the way, the word martyr came from the Greek word μάρτυς, mártys, which means "witness."

That comment of Archbishop Negro about the martyrs really has me scratching my head. Really makes me wonder what all that hullabaloo was all about.

RANT TIME!

News came from the Catholic Herald. Unfortunately, while I scour the web for this kind of news, some smart-aleck Facebook historian just gets the link from the source and does not even acknowledge this lowly blog as the source of the news. How did I know?

Hello! I am the owner of the blog. I can see who visits.

And he says he doesn't visit my blog nor does he agree with my views...
SAO PAULO, Brazil - A Catholic priest in southeastern Brazil was excommunicated on Monday, April 29, after publicly resigning from his duties to protest against the church's opposition to homosexuality. [take note here folks. the great Rappler.com wants you to believe that THIS IS THE ONLY REASON why the poor priest was

"Father Roberto Francisco Daniel can no longer celebrate the divine rite because he has been excommunicated," a statement from the Bauru diocese in Sao Paulo state said. [the full statement courtesy of Google Translate is available below.]

The 48-year-old priest, who renounced his church duties over the weekend, was accused of "heresy" and "schism" by the church hierarchy in the world's biggest Catholic country, which will welcome Pope Francis in late July during a major youth festival in Rio de Janeiro. [And Rappler did not mention them.]

"Father Beto," as his parishioners call him, announced on social networks that he was giving up the priesthood, urging the Church to modify its views on homosexuality and bisexuality to adapt to "new realities."

"We should simply be considered as gendered beings and not as homosexuals or bisexuals since love can spring at all these levels," the priest said in a video posted on YouTube. [Wah? What did he say?]

"For me it has become impossible to live the Gospel in an institution where freedom of thought and freedom of expression are not respected," he said in an online message. - Rappler.com
[Freedom of thought? That is what he calls heresy and public dissent.]

This is the Google Translate of the Decree of Excommunication, which, due to Rappler's Excellent Journalism, MISERABLY FAILED TO MENTION in the article.

Notice to the people of God of the Diocese of Bauru

It is public knowledge the statements and attitudes of Rev. Fr Roberto Francisco Daniel, in the name of "freedom of expression" betrayed the oath of allegiance to the Church to which he swore to serve on the day of their priestly ordination. These actions provoked strong offense and wounded ecclesial communion. His attitude is inconsistent with the obligations of the priestly state he should love, for it was he who requested the Grace Church Ordination. The Diocesan Bishop with patience and charity pastor, has been trying for long dialogue to overcome and solve so brotherly and Christian this situation. Exhausted all initiatives and in view of the good of the People of God, the Bishop convened a Diocesan Priest canonist Criminal Canon Law expert, naming him as investigating judge to address this issue and apply the "Law of the Church" , as Fr Roberto Francisco Daniel refuses any dialogue and collaboration.

Even so, the judge tried one last time a dialogue with that priest who reacted aggressively, the Diocesan Curia in which he refused any dialogue . This attempt took place in the presence of five (05) members of the Council of Priests.

That priest wounded the Church with their considered serious statements against the dogmas of the Catholic Faith, against morality and the deliberate refusal to obey your pastor (this obedience promised that the day of his ordination), incurring thus the most serious offense of heresy and schism whose punishment prescribed in canon 1364, paragraph one of the Code of Canon Law excommunication is attached to these offenses. serious this worth the said priest willingly incurred as a result of their actions.

The Church of Bauru patient when Mother was demonstrated on several occasions, called fraternal dialogue to overcome this situation he created. No Catholic, much less a priest can avail of the "right to freedom of expression" to attack Faith, in which he was baptized.

One of the obligations of the diocesan Bishop is to defend the Faith, Doctrine and Discipline of the Church and therefore communicate that Father Francisco Roberto Daniel can no longer enter into any act of divine worship (sacraments and sacramentals, or to receive the Holy Eucharist ) , it is excommunicated . Since that decision, the investigating judge shall initiate the procedure for dismissal from the clerical state to send to Rome prosecution for his "dismissal of the clerical state" .

With this statement, the Diocese of Bauru understand putting "an end" this painful history .

Let us pray that our Patron Holy Spirit, "which leads us," enlighten Fr Roberto Francisco Daniel to have the courage of humility to recognize that it is not the owner of the truth and be reconciled to the Church, which is "Mother and Teacher. "

Bauru, April 29, 2013.

By special order of the Bishop Diocesan representatives sign the Diocesan Council of Priests.

In fairness to "Fr." Beto, he is not like liberal priests in the Philippines who hide in their theology schools to spread their filth and yet chicken out when confronted, in a very rare occasion by some bishops who had the episcopal spine, to do so.

On second thought, what Filipino liberals and modernists are doing right now, hiding in the dark to spread their filth is exactly how they spread Modernism throughout the world.

In a Reuters report about the incident, Beto said in one of his YouTube vidoes that a married person who chose to have an an extra marital affair, heterosexual or otherwise, ugh! would not be unfaithful as long as his or her spouse allowed it! "If someone is in an extramarital relationship and that relationship is accepted by the spouse, then faithfulness still exists there," Da hell!!!

In an interview translated again by Google Translate, he said that "I'm a theologian and my intention is to develop a theological argument for the analysis of the texts of the Bible is no longer used for discrimination and unhappiness of people. Today, sexual diversity exists and there are many texts in the Bible that we can no longer consider the words of God." If that ain't heretical, what is?

Now that he is excommunicated he plans to "continue my life in integrity, transparency. Would not void as a person. I will continue teaching, exercising my teaching, practicing reflection as a theologian."

Well, this is how he lives his life before excommunicaiton and probably how he'll live his life now that he is excommunicated....life of integrity.

For all I care, I think he is the one lacking in integrity or maybe too repressed he just can't take it anymore, no?

Probably, Beto forgot or did not even read what the Church actually teaches about homosexuality...

Chastity and homosexuality
2357 Homosexuality refers to relations between men or between women who experience an exclusive or predominant sexual attraction toward persons of the same sex. It has taken a great variety of forms through the centuries and in different cultures. Its psychological genesis remains largely unexplained. Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity,141 tradition has always declared that "homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered."142 They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved.

2358 The number of men and women who have deep-seated homosexual tendencies is not negligible. This inclination, which is objectively disordered, constitutes for most of them a trial. They must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided. These persons are called to fulfill God's will in their lives and, if they are Christians, to unite to the sacrifice of the Lord's Cross the difficulties they may encounter from their condition.

2359 Homosexual persons are called to chastity. By the virtues of self-mastery that teach them inner freedom, at times by the support of disinterested friendship, by prayer and sacramental grace, they can and should gradually and resolutely approach Christian perfection.

And that all he wants is to ride the tide even if the tide. Truth never changes. And it does not compromise.

From Reuters

***

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (Reuters) - In an emotional ceremony filled with tears and applause, a 70-year-old Kentucky woman was ordained a priest on Saturday as part of a dissident group operating outside of official Roman Catholic Church authority. [Boohoo!!! Hoooha!!! Sniff sniff]

Rosemarie Smead is one of about 150 women around the world who have decided not to wait for the Roman Catholic Church to lift its ban on women priests, but to be ordained and start their own congregations. [Well, waiting was not even offered. You can wait till General Judgment Day and you still would not have it, sister. The Virgin Mary cannot have it too.]

In an interview before the ceremony, Smead said she is not worried about being excommunicated from the Church - the fate of other women ordained outside of Vatican law. [Well, she already got it. It is an automatic excommunication laetae sententiae. No formal declaration needed. As well as for the other Catholics who willingly joined in the "one-act-play".]

"It has no sting for me," said Smead, a petite, gray-haired former Carmelite nun with a ready hug for strangers. [Ooooooo....politician running for public office?] "It is a Medieval bullying stick the bishops used to keep control over people and to keep the voices of women silent. [Ehhhh....St. Catherine of Siena and St. Teresa of Avila were not of the medieval bullying stick nor were they silent. I think you turned back the clock to Islamic Europe, sister.] I am way beyond letting octogenarian men tell us how to live our lives." [The 70 year old tells 80 year old men to stop telling her how to live her life. Sweet.]

The ordination of women as priests, along with the issues of married priests and birth control, represents one of the big divides between U.S. Catholics [dissidents only! duh!] and the Vatican hierarchy. Seventy percent of U.S. Catholics believe that women should be allowed to be priests, according to a New York Times/CBS News poll earlier this year. [Back in 33 AD. more than 70% surveyed also said the carpenter who can rebuild the Temple after it was turn down and who famously said "Before Abraham was I am" must die by crucifixion because of his "blasphemies". Yup, surveys are another way of calling "voice of the mob".]

The former pope, Benedict XVI, reaffirmed the Catholic Church's ban on women priests and warned that he would not tolerate disobedience by clerics on fundamental teachings. Male priests have been stripped of their holy orders for participating in ordination ceremonies for women. [Now that is being pope!]

In a statement last week, Louisville Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz called the planned ceremony by the Association of Roman Catholic Women Priests a "simulated ordination" in opposition to Catholic teaching. [Wish Ko Lang episode? Ha!]

"The simulation of a sacrament carries very serious penal sanctions in Church law, and Catholics should not support or participate in Saturday's event," Kurtz said. [Boom!]

The Catholic Church teaches that it has no authority to allow women to be priests because Jesus Christ chose only men as his apostles. [Well, they can't argue against it eh?] Proponents of a female priesthood said Jesus was acting only according to the customs of his time. [Argh! Sumagot pa! Ehhhh....Jesus did not conform to the custom of not working on a Sabbath....He did not conform to the custom of not eating and socializing with non-Jews or publicans or sinners....What version of the Bible did these looneys are reading? Dan Browns? Ha!]

They also note that he chose women, like Mary Magdalene, as disciples, [can you find Biblical proof the women served like bishops like the Apostles? Nah... Unless you are using Dan Brown's Bible! Ha!] and that the early Church had women priests, deacons and bishops. [Soooooo early it went back to the time of Genesis! There is no proof whatsoever!]

The ceremony, held at St. Andrew United Church of Christ [Sooooooooooo Catholic.] in Louisville, was attended by about 200 men and women. [isn't that a bit sexist? Separating men from women? Why not just say "200 people" eh?] Many identified themselves to a Reuters reporter as Catholics, but some declined to give their names or their churches. [Martians anyone?]

'NEW ERA OF INCLUSIVITY'
The modern woman priest movement started in Austria in 2002, when seven women were ordained by the Danube River by an independent Catholic bishop. Other women were later ordained as bishops, who went on to ordain more women priests and deacons. [Keep on dreaming sisters!]

"As a woman priest, Rosemarie is leading, not leaving the Catholic Church, into a new era of inclusivity," said Bishop Bridget Mary Meehan during her sermon Saturday. [She already left the building, honey....along with Elvis. Ha!] "As the Irish writer James Joyce reminded us, the word 'Catholic' means 'Here comes everybody!'" [Including the nut jobs and Satan?]

Smead had to leave the rigorous Carmelite life due to health reasons, and earned a bachelor's degree in theology and a doctorate in counseling psychology. [Maybe rigorous for her angry radical feminist mentality that the silent life of the cloister cannot contain her raging testosterones! Nahhh... Just a thought. Or maybe she did some self-help with her counselling....Nah.... Too boring. She needs to be a priestess! Wooot!!!] She taught at Indiana University for 26 years, and works as a couples and family therapist. [therapy? with her? I think I'd rather have a dog.]

During the ordination ceremony, Smead wept openly as nearly everyone [EVEYRONE can ordain!!!] in the audience [see? it's not a congregation! It's a TV show!!!] came up and laid their hands on her head in blessing. Some whispered, "Thanks for doing this for us." [If I were there, I'd tell her "Wow! Great for Hollywood sister!]

During the communion service, Smead and other woman priests lifted the plates and cups containing the sacramental bread and wine to bless them. [Uhhhh....I don't have a GULP thing for this. I've been gulping since the start of this article.]

A woman in the audience murmured, "Girl, lift those plates. I've been waiting a long time for this." [YEAH!!! You go girl!! YEAH!!!] One of those attending the service was Stewart Pawley, 32, of Louisville, who said he was raised Catholic and now only attends on Christmas and Easter. But he said he would attend services with Smead when she starts to offer them in Louisville.

"People like me know it's something the Catholic Church will have to do," said Pawley. [Keep on dreaming dude.]

***

The problem with these whiners is they think it is just a matter of policy, that everything and everyone should be equal.

HELLO!!!

Wake up sister!

Smell the roses and try looking at the universe!

Not even identical twins are equal.

Male and female are not equal!

God Himself chose to be called "Father". The second person of the Blessed Trinity took on the form of a male.

Christ chose only males as his apostles. He did not choose women.

Deal with it.

Stop being such a cry baby and deal with it.

There are other ways that you can serve the Church other being a priest.

Some of the greatest saints in the world were either mothers or nuns!

It does not make you less of a person if you did not become a priest.

Now read this, pleeeeaaasssseee!!!
