And then there are places like the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory — places that quietly surprise you even if you are not deeply obsessed with baseball. Standing outside on Main Street in downtown Louisville, the first thing you notice is not the building itself. It is the bat. A gigantic baseball bat leaning against the museum facade like a monument to American nostalgia. Tourists gather beneath it instinctively. Children compare their height against it. Who runs these luxury trains in India and how these trains are different from other trains run by Indian Railways? These are Indian railway trains converted with better infrastructure by keeping the experience in mind. As we share more, you will realise that these are completely transformed trains." border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5T_JUc8AlbltM2Usc4uIjSwdY5qPuwwDjEpl7ezQ61BT_JE1jtQ9wLuuHzANijNUkj6nJvi-9mWXhjkX8oLXTWnvMo3anFa5fVkHq_QFKXshmgedYj6G_g-IPSFL7knU_oKIVS3sfd0Y/s16000/Golden+Chariot+-+A+unique+epxreince+of+Train+Journey+in+South+India-121628.jpg" style="border: 0px; height: inherit; max-width: 100%;" title="Golden Chariot Train in India: A Royal Journey Through the Soul of South India">

There is something deeply romantic about train journeys in India.

Not the hurried overnight rides between cities. Not the crowded suburban networks that pulse like arteries through urban chaos. But the slower journeys. The kind where landscapes unfold gradually, where stations smell of chai and wet earth, where conversations linger longer than expected, and where the rhythm of the tracks almost becomes meditative.

They are the only surviving sect derived from the kapalika tradition, a Tantric, non-Puranic form of Shaivism which originated in Medieval India between the 7th and 8th century CE. Similarly to their predecessors, Aghoris usually engage in post-mortem rituals, often dwell in charnel grounds, smear cremation ashes on their bodies and use bones from human corpses for crafting kapala (skull cups which Shiva and other Hindu deities are often iconically depicted holding or using) and jewellery. Their practices are sometimes considered contradictory to orthodox Hinduism. Many Aghori gurus command great reverence from rural populations and are widely referred to in medieval and modern works of Indian literature, as they are supposed to possess healing powers gained through their intensely eremitic rites and practices of renunciation and tapasya." border="0" data-original-height="750" data-original-width="564" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaiV1QjEdvsEB3UETexLjUsLufAGRb616j3vttxRW7YOR7EQnwartoLjx2CRY9h6Dr2-HM65pK2cSx3FTlv4q0HlOSHjPhNii0h3QujeGZ_i0JikkIzph3ogzTRTGiMyqoUwFS2oIqGGZhtv2_oMfuqWNV8SGF-2pI_7d9njqoA6Vx5BzEq8Jo9xNw/s16000/Some%20visuals%20from%20Varanasi%20city%20of%20India%20-%20Kashi%20-%20Benaras%20-%20Sadhus%20-%20Faith%20-%20Aarti%20-%20Ghats%20-%20Boats-1-2.jpg" style="border: 0px; height: inherit; max-width: 100%;" title="Varanasi Travel Guide 2026: Ghats, Ganga Aarti, Itinerary, Hotels & Cost" />

💡 Travel Tips for Varanasi
