I love the idea of Breakfast After Dark --- why should such a delicious meal be bound to just the morning!? As a dedicated night owl, mornings usually end up hectic and rushed. I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!® is a great product for cooking, it isn't just for toast! It melts smoothly and isn't full of extra fat and unhealthiness. The burritos turned out great! We finished ours off in a panini press for some extra crunch. My husband and I had a great time sipping orange juice and eating yummy breakfast burritos. I love finding companies that give back. It is one of my favorite things to share with my readers because I think it is so important to be aware of the needs of others. Check out this awesome CG-animated movie that is coming to theaters in November 7, 2014. I don't know much about it, but from the summary and beautiful photo above, I can already tell that I am going to love it. I am intrigued to learn more about this comic-book style action film from Disney!

Who doesn't love Angry Birds? We have played Angry Birds in our home for years. My husband prides himself on having three stars in the different rounds. but seriously, Angry Birds meets Star Wars? Does it get any better than that?!?! I received the above products free of charge from Hasbro. All opinions below are my own.

How cool are these ANGRY BIRDS^TM STAR WARS® FOAM FLYERS? My kids loved these! They are fun for kids of all ages to play with and they look really cool. :) Toss around these 3.5-inch soft foam, iconic characters for a new way to play ANGRY BIRDS STAR WARS! Available in LUKE SKYWALKER, CHEWBACCA, DARTH VADER and STORMTROOPER. My kids liked to use them to play life sized version of Angry Birds. Often the siblings were what were being knocked down! :) They had so much fun and the soft foam makes it so no one has to worry about getting hurt. My kids have already decided that they need to get the other foam flyers in the set. I think I have to agree on this one.

We also had the opportunity to review the ANGRY BIRDS^TM STAR WARS® AT-AT^TM ATTACK BATTLE GAME. This game is fun for ages 5 and up.

Its as easy as:

I have two sons that gravitate to anything that says DESTROY, so naturally this game is perfect for them. I asked my husband to set it up for them to play. He was a little concerned for how long it would take to set up, but literally minutes later it was ready to play. The best part is that it is easy enough for the kids to set up so they were able to play it again and again without our help. They have played it non stop, for the last two days. I mean really, what is more fun that having these awesome Star Wars Angry Bird characters, and getting to use a cool Lightsaber launcher to knock down what you built?

Stack, launch, and destroy with the AT-AT ATTACK BATTLE GAME, which includes 21 blocks to create the signature AT-AT, a LIGHT-SABER LAUNCHER and 12 ANGRY BIRDS STAR WARS figures — including two that are exclusive to this set! Players can also unlock ANGRY BIRDS STAR WARS in-app content with a special code in each pack.

I think my favorite part of this game is the 12 Angry Birds Star Wars figures. Maybe its the nerd in me, but these are so cool. It is really fun to be able to live the Angry Birds APP in real life, and but the figures on the super cool light-saber launcher, launch the birds and actually knock down what you built! My kids had fun building it different each time, so it was just like the different levels in the game. They got quite good at their accuracy in knocking them down, too!

This game is so much fun. Both items featured above are available now. Kid-Friendly Mothers' Day Craft

Hi, my name is Megan, and I am a Pinterest addict. The first step is admitting you have a problem, right?

Actually, the biggest problem I have with Pinterest is that I usually spend so much time pinning things that I never have time to actually do the crafts, cook the recipes, or try out the fabulous hairstyles. And let's not even talk about all the things on my "fitness" board! But I recently actually did something I found on Pinterest, and it turned out to be a great Mothers' Day craft for kids, especially little boys!

Cute, right. Sadly, the link was broken, so I had to figure out how to do it myself. I had my whole Cub Scout den do this craft as a gift for their moms, and it is perfect for 8-10 year old little boys (and fills a ton of Cub Scout requirements). It would also be great for older kids, who could make it more detailed.

Here are my step-by-step instructions. Sorry I don't have pictures for each step, but I was doing this with 10 little boys, so my hands were pretty busy!

1. Purchase supplies. You will need a wooden plaque (Michael's sells really great pre-cut ones for under $2), nails, string, paint, sharpies, and a hammer. I already had everything except the string and wood, so my total cost was about $2.25 per craft. For the string, I chose variegated yarn. I got the cheapest kind Michael's sells, and it was perfect! I also suggest using nails with a good sized head, which makes it easier for the kids to hammer and helps to prevent the yarn from slipping off.

2. Sand the wooden plaque, then wipe off the dust.

3. Paint the wood and let it dry. If you like, you could distress it by sanding the edges a bit. But I was doing this with Cub Scouts, so things were already pretty distressed. Alternatively, you could Mod Podge on a piece of scrapbook paper.

4. Trace a heart shape on the painted wood.

5. Hammer in nails along the heart shape. For the size we did, each boy needed about 10-12 nails. Be sure to get a nail at the top and bottom points of the heart and several along the curved areas. Some boys needed a few reminders not to hammer their nails in so far that they went through the backside of the wood, but if that happens, just pound on the sharp end of the nail a few times until it is back inside the wood.

6. Cut lengths of string/yarn to about 18 inches in length, then tie one end to a nail and loop the yarn around each nail. When you run out of yarn, tie it to the nearest nail and trim the loose ends. Then repeat with as many pieces of yarn as you like. Some of the boys tied yarn across the heart in cool patterns as well as around, and it looked great!

7. Write on a personal message to Mom with a sharpie. The paint has to be totally dry or the sharpie won't stick very well.

8. Package them up for Mothers' Day! We used brown paper bags that the boys decorated.

9. Enjoy your darling craft!

I have four kids. My youngest is barely 21 months old and she is very different than my other three kids. She doesn't walk. She runs and climbs, moves around and just never seems to stop! I am who I am because of my parents and I am so grateful for my mom. Hallmark has lots of great cards that explain exactly how I feel!

I love breakfast foods. I could eat them for every meal, and this is one of our newest favorites. It is fast and easy to make and full of flavor. I have included the version for Him and Her. :)

1. Scramble eggs in bowl and add to pre-heated skillet.

2. Scramble until desired

3. Move aside

4. Brown Onions, mushrooms and peppers

5. Spread cheese triangle on Pita

6. Top with scrambled Eggs

7. Top with onions, mushrooms and peppers

8. Top with Tomato and Cilantro

9. Finish With Salsa

10. Enjoy

Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Brownie Cookies

1 box of your favorite brownie mix

½ cup all-purpose flour

6 T vegetable oil

2 eggs

2 T water

1/2 bag peanut butter chips

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.

2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl until blended.

3. Lightly grease cookie sheet.

4. Drop by spoonful onto cookie sheet.

5. Bake for 9 to 13 minutes depending on cookie size. (Mine took 12 minutes)

Yum. These are gooey, soft, full of flavor and soooo yummy. I love the peanut butter/chocolaty flavor combination so these were a big hit for me. I loved that it was so easy and fast to make. I hope you enjoy them as much as we did!

This week is National Library Week! Playaway View Review!

Did you know that it is National Library Week? I had no idea, but I think that is definitely a great reason to take the kiddos to the library! I know that I don't get there as often as I should and definitely don't take advantage of all that they offer. According to a recent Pew Research Center survey*, more than 75% of Americans say libraries are important to their families, but less than 25% say they know about the services their libraries offer them.

1. DVDs and CDs

Why spend money downloading music or renting DVDs when you can get them for free from your library? And most libraries are well stocked on both items. Even saving the $1 per rental at Redbox can add up to significant savings in a year.

2. eBooks

Kids love technology, and if you have an eReader, you can check out and download books for free. Most libraries have thousands of books available for Kindles, Nooks and iPads and will provide you with the proper directions to be able to download the books easily. Most eBooks are available for 21 days (the same as checking out a regular book).

3. Audiobooks

Audiobooks continue to gain popularity especially with families. They are great for anyone who has difficulty reading in moving vehicles. Plus, reading aloud to children has been proven to help build vocabulary and language skills. Many libraries carry Playaway audiobooks. In honor of National Library Week, I had the opportunity to review the Playaway View. I previously had not heard of a Playaway, but we will definitely be visiting our library often to check them out. The Playaway View is awesome. I really like it a lot. It is nothing beautiful or fancy, but it is absolutely perfect for what it is. The Playaway View is a portable video player pre-loaded with award winning videos. We had the opportunity to review the Sid the Science Kid videos.

I have four kids. Ages 10, 8, 4 and 2. It was really funny for me because some time or another, I caught each one of my kids curled up on the couch watching the Playaway View. Sid the Science Kit is a great video that teaches all about science and develops learning. I definitely encourage my kids enjoying to learn. Each Playaway View is pre-loaded with different video content, so when you go to your local library, you can find the perfect one for your kids, or check a new one out every week.

The Playaway View is easy to use, that even my 2 year old could turn it on for herself. You have buttons on the side that are easily marked for the kids to understand. It is so simple. I love this. So many things these days are complicated with too many features, that I love the idea about going to the library and checking out a Video player with just one function. You don't have to worry about apps or downloads, it is all there ready for you.

The Playaway View is the perfect size for kids hands. It fits perfectly and comfortably in their hands so they can watch it without any trouble. The screen is a full color 3.5" for easy viewing. It is lightweight and easy to use. Like I mentioned above, even my two year old loves it.

The Playaway View is so convenient. In our home we have dance, soccer, and baseball so we are often on the go for games and practices. Naturally, all of the kids aren't interested in what is going on, so I keep the Playaway View in my diaper bag so I can easily get it out to entertain my kids on the go. It has saved my sanity many times and my kids love it. This would also be great if you are going on a vacation and needing something to entertain the kids in the car or at a hotel.

The Playaway View can be checked out for free. What? Something so fun and convenient can be found at your local library and you can check it out with your library card. There are lots of videos available that are fun for kids of all ages!

This movie is absolutely phenomenal. I had the opportunity to review it and I was blown away by the beauty of what was captured behind the camera. My kids have always loved the Disneynature movies so we were very excited to watch Wings of Life. Everything from the bats carrying their babies as they flew, to the hundreds of thousands of monarch butterflies is incredible and so fun to watch. I love these movies because they teach are children about the birds, bees, bats and more in a really engaging way!

By far, I think my favorite part was seeing the Monarch Butterflies. You'll have to buy the Blu-ray to see this because it is absolutely stunning. It is incredible that there are so many in one place. My husband and I decided that we wanted to travel to northern California to see this for ourselves because it really is incredible.

I loved the slowed down footage where you can see so much amazing detail and really get a feel for what they are trying to accomplish. It feels like you are there with them as they are in the adventure of flight. After seeing "Earth", "Oceans", "African Cats" and "Chimpanzee", Wings of Life is just as stunning and beautiful and I highly recommend this! I love that it engages my children so much and we have already watched it over and over again! The colors, details, and footage is simply amazing.
