Jayam Ravi has said that he is not averse to multi-starrers as it has become very common these days because the young generation stars share a good and healthy friendship.

The star said that currently the shooting of Aadhi Bhagwan is in progress and this film may most probably be released by this year end. He revealed that his next project in the pipeline is Boologam.

THA is a film which is coming totally with the debut casting. The film directed by debutant Surya Prabhakar has created a great interest in the audience. The whole team of THA has given their heart and soul for the film and rest left with the audience.

Let’s step into Tha now.

Surya (Sri Hari) is a guy who stays in a village near by Coimbatore. He is good at heart but a tough guy who spends his time with his friends and is against love. He changes his view on love in an incident and his parent’s starts searching a bride for him. The search ends with Jothi (Nisha) who is a family friend’s daughter. Here the love story starts between both of them and at some pout he starts doubting her for stupid causes. From here the film gives a turn whether Jothi forgives and marries him or not? On how Surya decides will turn up into a surprising climax.

Highlights:

Sri Hari is a perfect fit for the rustic role, while Nisha looks good and performed well even tough this is her first outing.

Benito, Madhan, Shanmugam, Vettrivel and Govindan who played as Sri Hari’s friends did well are good fit.

Coming to the supporting cast Subramani and Vasanthi as Sri Hari’s parents did their roles as experienced actors.

Sri Vijay’s Music strikes a chord of Ilayaraja.

On a whole the film tests the patience and will surely give a good feel of short story.

The latest speculation in Kollywood is about Vijay and Shankar’s 3 Idiots remake. The film from the initial talks is in headlines and now it continuous the same.

From the snoopy sources it is heard that Vijay has walked out of the film. This is a big blow for the entire team of ‘3 Idiots’ as the shooting of the film is going to start from December 6th in Dehradun.

An unofficial report says that the director and Vijay had a difference in talks about Vijay’s look in 3 Idiots.

‘Mankatha’ the multi starrer film and Ajith’s 50^th film is a much awaited film in Kollywood. The audio of the film will hit the stores on April 11^th 2011 and the film will be released on May 1st 2011.

Sathyaraj Play Professor role in Shankar Film

Veteran actor Sathyaraj is going to play the role of the professor in the Tamil version of ‘3 Idiots’. In Hindi the role was performed by Boman Irani in a stunning manner.

On speaking Sathyaraj says “Yes, I am thrilled about working with Shankar. Though I denied the villain role he offered me in Sivaji, he was great enough to approach me for this meaty role in the 3 Idiots remake,”

He also thanked Shankar for giving him a great opportunity after a long gap. I heard that I am playing the role of Ileana’s father in the film.

When asked for why he denied the role in Shivaji he says “I acted with Rajinikanth in Mr Bharath because I had equal footage. But the villain role in Sivaji did not have much scope for me. So I took a firm decision said no.”

The film is directed by Shankar and music is scored by Harris Jayraj.

Nayan and Prabhu to marry in December?

There have been rumours linking between popular South Indian actress Nayantara and choreographer-actor-director Prabhu Deva in the past, which the actress denied on several occasions! Going by the latest developments, it appears that these rumours were not unfounded true and the latest buzz in Chennai is that the couple may tie the knot in December.
“Nayan has given up her career as her priority is to marry Prabhu Deva. They are made for each other and are just waiting to legalise their relationship the moment Prabhu’s divorce from his wife comes through,” a source close to Nayantara was quoted as saying.
Reportedly Prabhu’s family has accepted Nayantara and she is the darling of the household. Recently, the couple is said to have exchanged garlands during a big homam performed by Prabhu’s dad Sundaram Master.
“Last Tuesday, they were spotted at a Vadapalani theatre holding hands and watching Karthi’s Naan Mahaan Alla,” a source added. Prabhu Deva also took her to Paris during the shoot of Jayam Ravi’s Ich, which he’s directing.
Nayantara is currently focusing on completing all her pending projects in Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada such as Arya’s Boss Engira Baskaran, Electra in Malayalam and Symbol with Upendra in Kannada.
