A new club in the making. A club i know will take flight :) It's been a rollercoaster ride for me since late Nov till now. Finally i had a day (really), to let everything from the past month sink in and wow, SOUL has gone by its soft launch and there'll be a hell lot of work to do.

I gotta admit, I love wearing makeup, photoshopping photos to make them look good. But honestly, NOTHING beats having naturally good skin in the first place rite?

I make it a point to keep my face bare on weekends! Just so that it can breathe n not clog! :D yeah yeah i mean u can go on and on about how i m not pretty or how i dare to show my face w/o makeup. U noe wad, i dun care :P

yes im back from taiwan! besides everyone falling sick and the stupid rain, it was... not so bad? but for me, HK n BKK ftw anytime. sorry, blame it on my roots hahahaha..

I FORGOT TO CHECK WHETHER HUBS NEEDED VISA FOR HIS INDO PASSPORT. n i thought he didnt need. so we only found out at the airport and he had to postpone his flight to the next day. i felt soooooo bad i wanted to kill myself. ok

Because today is the only day you can look crazy ridiculous and NOBODY GIVES A SHIT!
our friends booked 2 rooms at river view hotel so we could dress up and head over to zouk for some halloween fun!
I tried to dress up at a punk rocker chick but i failed terribly hahaha but DOPE right! (only time i feel that this word is actually appropriate.)

I was really actually a stewardess but they say i look like i'm from THAI AIRWAYS.
disclaimer: i tend to look tan/not chinese BECAUSE i do have Vietnamese blood in me. hana hana go ahead and try to say i act exotic. BUT TRUE MA! my ah ma is from vietnam!

oh i forgot my bf.. he's eh.. whatever u think silver-painted face can be lo. hahahah.

i've been pretty quiet over this corner of mine lately cos i'm just so tired and busy! sorry! :(
been making a "mini" transition in my life from mfp to xinmsn.

i can't deny tt i'm both thrilled and excited for such an opportunity but i'm worried i can't deliver. it has been good so far! but realli different environment.

pace of work, independence, trying to fit in, absorbing as much as i can everyday. it's tough. still wondering if im cut out to be a true blue journalist.

went for my last event at the fullerton hotel under mfp for the Alsace wine tasting event. French ppl love their wine as much as they love foie gras. i was lucky enough to have tasted really fine-tasting wine alongside delicious french cuisine.

one of the many glasses of wine we had that afternoon :P

If you would prefer a sweet white wine to go with your blue cheese, this is definitely my fav! Many recommend the Reisling but you have got to try this: Domaine Pierre Adam GEWURZTRAMINER 2007.

Had some leave to clear during my last month in mfp, so we both took a day off on thursday and headed off to rider's cafe at bukit timah saddle club! :)

reservations should be made before hand if you would like to get good seats w/o the wait!

Woke up bright and early and reached there approx. 10am.

If only this was my backyard.. love horses.. but if u ain't a big fan u might find the smell of the barn a bit repelling.

yummy poached eggs with bacon and roasted tomato on toast for me.

the "usual" english breakfast for him.

we shared an iced chocolate as well :)

The place is pretty small n cozy; about less than 20 tables if i recall correctly. definitely a nice place to gather w ur girlfriends or loved ones!

magnificent creature.

the bill came back to around $39 for 2 persons, but i would say the food and being able to escape from the city buzz make it worth the while.

will be back! wild honey review and more!

we were invited to the media event for pink parlour bout 2 weeks back! lucky for us there was even transport to get us there without a hitch!

The lift was decorated with tapes and chains! Was really starting to wonder what did we get ourselves into for a moment.

Tucked in the 3rd level of Orchard Central is the brand new Pink Parlour branch!

besides the wine and tapas, there was also pole dancing! she's seriously good!

Was given a press kit and an instant photo to bring home! we were given $50 voucher to go back where i got my french mani done + eyebrow and upper lip waxing! :))

was invited to the kotex event sometime back as a blogger and media! it was held at the loft at 313 orchard!
you can't blame me for being a foodie rite? me love my food!! and the kotex peeps were realli generous n made sure we all filled our tummies! this was just part of it!

super girly and cute cupcakes with the kotex WOW letters! everyone was allowed to make their own cupcakes n bring home!

Met the ever so lovely Genevieve there! We still have a lot to catch up babe! meet up again soon!

For all things fashion I love, there's Mango's latest Autumn/Winter collection which is so 70's chic! I have always loved how affordable Mango is compared to all the high end brands. I was browsing through the website: http://www.mango.com/ and i picked out my favs!

I would TOTALLY wear this to work/play anytime! absolutely love it. Emphasis on the high waist elongates the leg, making you look superbly tall.

Men's wear are back in business as well for the ladies; notice the straight cut pants and vests! And I love the vintage colours!

So uber chic and cool.

This Autumn/Winter 2010, it is all about the classics for Mango: trench coats, double-breasted jackets and well-tailored coats, not forgetting both basic and thicker, chunky handmade knits. fresh-face sunday! after a good rest over the weekend i feel superbly refreshed! minimal makeup so that the skin can breathe :)

tip: skip the eyeliner on casual days to avoid causing wrinkles! try mascara instead!

went for a quick fishing trip on sunday afternoon! don't worry we released all the fishes after. :P

thurs night at black & white cafe! super nice place to chill w the white bar kakis. i realised it's starting to become quite regular our meetups :)

prawning last last sunday at guillemard! super fun but then again these 36 prawns cost us approx $100+ geez!

my friends who are all iphone converts sadly i'm still waiting for my plan to end!!! went to whampoa for the fish head steamboat. waited for a good one hour but it wasn't promfret (sold out) so we were all quite disappointed. whampoa food centre & market - blk 91 whampoa drive

miss going out w these ppl on a weekly basis already. when are we meeting again??

omg this is the bomb baby.

i'm obsessed with the sony nex 3. what got me all high and mighty was the 3D paranoma sweep effect, 7 frames per second speed, super chic and slim exterior for a DSLR.

you'll be mine before my 23rd bday! :)
