Test/Tube/Thought by Winterphonic

2010-07-22T14:20:00.005-04:00

This song is basically three songs in one running at around 5:30, speedily spread on, its quite amazing one of the best songs I've heard in a while its soulful but nice and soft...it's beautiful with Jazz influenced deep beats and breaks behind the quiet and soulful voice of singer Adina.

I need to get better at describing, but this song is amaazinggg

getss itt, now

The Neighbors by St. Vincent

2010-07-22T14:07:00.002-04:00

This is my favorite song off of St. Vincent's Actor "The Neighbors" shows a lot of emotion and incorporates some rock feel to it and one point. she sings with palpable emotion "Tomorrow's some kind of stranger who I'm not supposed to see"

Fallen Snow {The Bird of Music}

2009-12-27T11:08:00.001-05:00

The song Fallen Snow is by the indie electronic pop girl band Au Revoir Simone, it's pretty much a love song, even though it's an all girl band, i really like it, it's different

here are the lyrics to that song:
We both know it's going to be another long winter
The kind that freezes shut the doors of early spring
But I still like the wind
When I hear you knocking, with a whisper
I'll open the doors and I'll let you in

Depressing things are empty beds and lonely dinners
And women who are middle aged with naked fingers
I'll buy myself a ring
To symbolize this marriage every time I break the laws to let you in

'Cause nothing's worse than seeing you worse than me
And nothing hurts like seeing you hurt like me
The consequence is less than the happiness you bring to me
There's more to give than what you take from me

'Cause nothing's worse than seeing you worse than me
And nothing hurts like seeing you hurt like me
The consequence is less than the happiness you bring to me
There's more to give than what you take from me

Believe in the things that you know
Believe in the things that you know

Sunshine, throw a starving man a piece of bread

All I said, I didn't mean
The chill is strong and nothing seems
To thaw the icy sentiment
Of love that's gone once winter's spent

I Remember {Odd Blood}

2009-12-24T15:21:00.000-05:00

(Album art very weird, but cool)

The song I Remember is reeeally good, i think one of my favorites on Yeasayer's new album due out February 9Th, with Keaton wailing in the background "I remember making out on an airplane... still afraid of flying but with you I tackled it" you can't help but to love this song...check it out...like now!
