Hey guys I just came across some money and I was thinking of buying a PS3,1Tb external HDD and a one of those PS3 usb modchips.(just to backup legally bought games).I dont plan to play online because I buy my online games for the PC.

Should I go for it? is the Ps3 key needed?

BTW I already got an old Xbox 360 so dont tell me to get one instead.

Well I got a small break from school and I was finally able to actually play with my new PiiC and it has been VERY! great so far.One of the things I love most about it is that I can play my Wii games in HD!.Been playing Brawl. with my bro all day,he is using the Xbox 360 controller and I'm using the Wiimote and nunchuck.I might have to buy a couple used games and then download them.Only bad thing I can see is that I cant play online.

What are some good Wii games that you guys recommend?

Check out my new Wii

Sorry I was away for so long (3-4 months?) but I have been very busy with work and travels.I will be active again.I have allot of new stuff to share with you guys, but I will leave that for another day.Oh and BTW got me a new PC and I'll be posting the specs real soon.

another new mouse.

2010-10-29T13:06:00.000-07:00

I bought yet another mouse from ebay. This time its the razer copperhead.I bought it for my brother because he was getting annoying borrowing my mouse and junk.

First gaming mouse.

2010-10-17T02:53:00.000-07:00

Today I got some money so I decided I finally going to get a decent mouse,so I got this one (MS Sidewinder x5) for $29 USD and its a really great mouse. Before this I was using a acer mini mouse that came with my brothers netbook and it was really uncomfortable to hold and use, sometimes I would press both clicks at the same time and would get killed in Modern Warfare 2.

Really bad RAM (cont.)

2010-10-11T08:38:00.000-07:00

Well I got the new ram(2gb 667Mhz) and It is best 40 dollars I have spent on this PC.The games now load and run better then ever(no hiccups). So because now I meet the 2gb minimum RAM requirement for this game(see the picture) I decided to buy it and It has been pretty great so far.I really cant see why people compare this game to Modern Warfare 2 so much It is very different.

It runs at 30+ FPS average and when there is to much going on in the screen it drops to 20 but it is still very playable at lowest sets.

Really bad RAM.

2010-10-09T14:09:00.000-07:00

I just found out that my computers RAM is actually clocked at 200 Mhz!!(maximum 333 Mhz).No wonder I get some hiccups when I am running around in MW 2.So anyways im gonna get 2gb 667Mhz sticks soon(wich is the maximum size and speed for my motherboard)

Ill let you know how it turns out.

Another new game.

2010-10-07T17:10:00.000-07:00

So a friend of mine just gift me this game and guess what,My PC is under the recommended settings but i can still play it at playable framerates (about 20-25) in lowest settings.

This game is GREAT!!! I always wanted to play the first one but since I do not own a 360 i was never able to play it.I think its gonna be a while until I get a different game because this game has me HOOKED!

New game!!

2010-10-05T11:54:00.000-07:00

Well I have been hearing allot about this game from a friend so i decided to give it a try and I have to say its a pretty fun game to play.I play it online with some friends and I had one of the biggest laugh attacks of my life!!.We were mining for some ores way under ground and we both where chipping away at the wall when all of a sudden i hear this SSSSSSS noise when i look back there was this Zombie guy jut standing behind my friend and I though someone else had joined the server then the zombie blew up killing my friend instantly and sending me flying back into a pool of lava!! good times.

Well anyways the games runs around 35-42 FPS @ 1280x1024 res with the fog set to far.

Forgot to mention

2010-10-05T01:15:00.000-07:00

This blog is going to be about the experiences I get with running games on this PC.
Here is a list of some games I am currently playing what frames I get on them.

Modern Warefare 1/2: I get about 45-60 FPS on Medium 800x600 res on both games.
Garrys Mod 11: Always above 60 FPS with everything on max and 1280x1024 res
FallOut 3: I get around 45 something FPS with almost Low settings.

the rest of the games are some free to play games that are nor really worth mentioning.

My "gaming" computer

2010-10-05T00:48:00.000-07:00

This is the first computer I have ever owned and I bought it for around 550 USD at the time it seemed like a good deal because i had no idea that I could build a way better computer for the same price. Here are the specs.

Athlon 3800+ @ 2.4 Ghz
NVIDIA MCP61 mobo
NVIDIA 8400 gs 256mb ram (overclocked)
1gb 667 ram!!!
160gb HDD
and some cheap 450w power supply someone gave to me.
oh and I removed the DVD drive because it would BSOD every time i used it so now i buy all my games on steam.

and this is what I use to play games even the modern ones.
