Did a shoot downtown yesterday in a penthose loft. The stylist Danny Flynn has collected a bunch of fabulous vintage Vivien Westwood corsets and such. It just had to be shot. So we did. Had a fun time just creating a cool look and of course I went crazy with my iPhone.

Worked today for a magazine called Bon. No $ but very creative editorial. The stylist was fantastic! So creative. Liz Botes.The photography is a team. They call themselves Mizo. Combo of both their names. Love their work. And of course Riku who does amazing makeup. We had worked with this model for his makeup book who has a very cool look. It was a bit of bondage with latex super tight! "bring the lube and sponge!" says Liz to her assistant several times. Love it. And then she throws in lace and feathers. And vintage wooden hoop skirt. Not sure what you call it, but it is suppose to go under the dress from the 1700's? Anyways managed to snap a pic with the iPhone while shooting.

Today we went to Cnn with the fabulous Michael Sheen. While he was getting interviewed Brooke and I had to sit at the Larry King desk. Well we waisted no time having fun there! As you can see. Fun!

The Beautiful Life promo's

I just recently worked on a bunch of promo's for CWTV. I did four new shows, Vampire Diaries, The Beautiful Life, Melrose Place, and Life Unexpected. I also did Beverly Hills 90210 for the second year. Although it is VERY busy doing all these people in two days, it is extremely fun to do. Not one actor was difficult! In fact they were such a pleasure to work with! For people who know me, they know i am not a bullshitter so i really do mean it. I also had a fantastic team behind me which is so important! It takes a lot of stress off me. Here are a few shots of me working behind the scenes.

I worked with the fabulous makeup artist Valli O'reilly Who I met through Brian Adams. Oscar winner for makeup in the movie biz. I think she may get another one for the Timothy Burton movie coming out called Alice in wonderland. Anyways it was the first shoot where we could really go for it. And we did. Great model and the photographer was David Jakel. He did a really great job and very excited to see the finals. These are some behind the scenes pictures I took with my iPhone and a great app called shakeit. Fun!

I work with the great Doug. 12 page story with famous peoples beautiful daughters. We shot in a great location! Old dock warehouses. All modern editoral feel and they looked amazing. The pictures were so beautiful. He really nailed it!

Took this shot of the model while we were waiting for something... The final picture the photographer took was much better.. but here is a sneak. Her hair was such a bright red.. She had just worked with Mathew Rolston and i think they had colored her hair that color for the shoot. Anyways i am very excited to get the images once they release it. i must have gotten at least 3 to 4 shots for my book.. which is amazing for one day! I have gotten so fussy in my old age.

Worked with Kristy Hume for a British editorial. She has the most amazing hair! It was the second time i had worked with her. We had worked before on Gap. She brought her daughter who is a little mini Kristy. I don't like kids but that one got to me.. So cute!

Desert Heat

I did a job out in the desert a few weeks ago so this is old news but I will post anyways. All the elements were against us so I was exhausted when we finished. It was like 100 degrees out and I do not do well in extreme heat so I was in survival mode. Hat,screen,and gallons of water..any little shade, I was in. Being a melonoma surviver,one has to be very careful. Of course with that comes gale force winds,and toss in sand, and you have a sand storm to boot. All really great for the hair.thank god the hairstyle I ended doing which was pinned back,worked for every outfit,so I managed to curve a nightmare! Add that they always wanted to climb up a 90 degree angle on a sand dune to a better rock above.... Well, you get the picture. This picture shows the photographer waiting for the sand storm to settle inbetween shots.

I also hung out with a lizard in the shade for awhile.

I have wanted to try the beer up the butt chicken.. so i did it this weekend on the grill. Thank god i came to check up on it when i did.. the chicken was on fire! I had to throw water on it. As you can see from the pictures, there are two sides to her. She may look awful but she was tender and juicy and delicious. God it is a good thing i am not vegetarian. That is so gross.

I recently have been working with Michael Sheen who has had two great movies come out at the same time. We were at the Craig Ferguson show and discovered a coffin in his dressing room! Of course he jumped in it and i who always carry a camera with me, snapped this picture right away.

This is the new commercial for Chrysler i did with Jeff Judd doing makeup. It is so kinda crazy how much time and money was put into the looks only to have a few seconds shown.. i mean really!!! and yes there were a lot of real snakes in her hair!

I went to Brazil with the magazine Italian Elle for a week and had a fabulous time with such a great crew. I laughed so hard all the time! This particular day was extremely windy and i had no control over the hair.
