Now what this blog is, is a place that's rather similar to this blog. However it promises more posts, by more people about many more awesome and different things. Now I don't want you guys to get worried here and be like "...but we don't care about anyone else, just you..." (as if...) so to calm all you guys down please know that the only other people posting will be friends of mine who help me, and appear in, the majority of my videos. In otherwords, Videoslave.

Now, what is Videoslave? You're probably asking. Well, Videoslave is the name of our newly established group. Now what this group does it bring you guys quality videos like the one's you've seen on my page, but it may add humor, interesting facts or a number of many different things. Eventually Videoslave WILL have it's own Youtube page, along with all the members, however for now, it's just the blog. However, it's kinda nice, because the blog can keep you up to date! Through My Eyes...

Alright guys, so it's April 13th and I haven't done a post in a little while. Like always, I guess I just been busy. Work's gone from a lot to OVERLOAD, and well I haven't had much personal time at all. As for videos, more are on the way very soon. I just need to talk to a few people, get a couple bucks and make sure I know what I want to do, but there will always be more on the way. At least for now. :)

In other news, my last few posts talked about this band named Skillet, and well to be honest, for some reason these guys changed music for me. Well, not so much changed it as brought it back to me. They managed to give me back "That Feeling" that I had when I used to watch Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad and that was a feeling that I'll never forget. Their music sounds a lot like Three Days Grace meets Three Doors Down, but they are so totally amazing (At least, since they got Jen Ledger on drums). So if you guys like Three Days Grace or are just lookin for something new check these guys out. My favorite songs are "Monster", "Hero" and "Awake and Alive" so feel free to check those out.

Aside from that I've been working hard on Platinuming Grand Theft Auto IV (PS3), and trust me, that was no easy task. First off, I had to beat the game again because the first time I played through it, Trophies didn't exist. I managed to beat the game under 30 hours so I got the Liberty City Minute Trophy and a bunch more. The only trophies I got left to get are "No More Strangers", "Endangered Species" and the one for Unique Stunt Jumps (Not counting online trophies of coarse). So I hope to complete this soon.

I also managed to get a really cool Dynamic Theme for my PS3. The Heavy Rain Crime Scene. It's pretty sweet I must say. Along with that I also just downloaded The Ballad of Gay Tony which I'll be going through really soon and later this week I hope to get The Lost and the Damned, but anyways. On the PSN I downloaded a PS1 Classic... Grandia. One 0f those amazing RPG's I've never played, so I'm looking forward to going through that! :D

When Disturbed and All That Remains came...

As many of you may already know. All That Remains and Disturbed are two of my all time favorite bands! They are amazing and I never dreamed in my life I would ever get to see them. Well, anyway. Last year, on May 29th 2009 they came to my hometown of Moncton, NB. and I got to see both of them, live, together with all my friends! It was the greatest show of LIFE! At least to us it was. Nothing like that ever happened here. Anyways, as I remember a million amazing things about that night (like getting a signed copy of Art of Dying's CD and an All That Remains T-Shirt) there was only a couple I could share with you. Alright, so today I hung out with a good friend of mine. Most of you know him as Josh, but for the sake of the internetz he wants us to call him "Kain" (However he expects me to spell it, I like it this way so yeah!). So, anyways, like I said. I was hanging out with Kain today and he decided to show me this new Christian Rock Group, and now I know what you're all thinking... "Religious Rock, ahh man- that sucks!" - but guess what! No it doesn't.

The band was called Skillet, and two of the songs that captured my attention was "Monster" and "Hero". To be honest, Hero is just awesome! It's just one of those songs that's kind of empowering. Now, in my opinion Skillet sounds like Three Days Grace meets Nickelback at some point, but rather than me go on about it.

Grand Theft Auto IV Alternate Ending?

Okay, so as most of you know. I just beat Grand Theft Auto 4 for a second time. Now my goal was to get the Liberty City Minute Trophy. Which I did. Yay! However, after that I decided I wanted to try for some other trophies. Now first off. I chose the Revenge path (Spoilers btw) so instead of Roman dying, it was Kate that died. Now on my journey of collecting cars for Brucie today, I got this call from an Unknown caller. So I picked it up... It was Kate... but, she's dead... ???? She asked me if I wanted to go on a date, So I went picked her up and went on a date, but it's weird. When I press "try my luck" rather than "Good Night"... it's still the "Good Night" cutscene... It's weird. I don't know if my game kinda got messed up, but for me the game's done and Kate and Roman are both alive. This is weird, but AWESOME! Oh, and one more thing. I can't call Kate, but she can call me, it's really messed up. Anyways, just wondering if this has happened to anyone else? That's all.

Blog Consistancy

Alright guys, So it's Easter today and I wanted to say first off, Happy Easter to everyone. Now, moving on, this blog here is going to be rather short, but I just had a couple quick things to say and something to ask you guys. First off, One thing I wanted to do was to be more consistent with my blogs, in other words, get more of them out, about a variety of different things (mainly pertaining to myself). The one question I had for you guys was what kind of things do you want to see in my blog? Like do you want it to be about gaming stuff only? or do you want it to go in depth with things going on in my life in general? Do you want there to be movie reviews or TV show reviews? Maybe even shout-outs/Gamer spotlights? Tell what you want to see posted and I'll try to post more of it. So that could mean 2 posts a day or more, so make sure to check the whole blog before signing out alright? Let me know by Monday. Thanks guys.

A Sequel to Oblivion?

That's right people. There's actually a novel (not a video game, sorry to disappoint) that's actually a direct sequel to Oblivion. It's called The Infernal City...

...and it's written by Greg Keyes. Now, it's hard for me to explain the exact plot, so I'll let the synopsis on the back of the book explain it all.

"Four decades after the Oblivion Crisis, Tamriel is threatened anew by an ancient and all-consuming evil. It is Umbriel, a floating city that casts a terrifying shadow–for wherever it falls, people die and rise again.

And it is in Umbriel’s shadow that a great adventure begins, and a group of unlikely heroes meet. A legendary prince with a secret. A spy on the trail of a vast conspiracy. A mage obsessed with his desire for revenge. And Annaig, a young girl in whose hands the fate of Tamriel may rest…." (Cover Art & Synopsis)

Now for those of you that didn't know. Oblivion was one of the best selling and amazingly detailed RPG's (Role Playing Game) of all time. It was released on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, and had two additional expansions (The knights of the nine and Shivering Isles). This game here is not only one of the best RPG's I've ever played, but most definitely one of my favorite and one of the most well designed and interactive.

Up to know I've read about two chapters of the book and it definitely does not disappoint. Just in case it didn't mention above the story takes place four decades after Oblivion, and for something original it's quite amazing. I can't wait until the second book comes out, but for now I think I'm going to relax and read this.

Portal 2

Finally after a very long wait, Portal 2 has been announced, but not only that, it has been announced for release later this year. During a presentation, Valve faked a blue-screen-of-death which had many signs and hints of Portal 2 on it. Not long after Gameinformer released this magazine...

... with quite a bit of details on the game inside. Now, I managed to find all sorts of scans from this issue of Gameinformer that I managed to upload for all you to read. Portal 2 looks like a game that's not going to completely re-invent the first one, but try to live up to the amazingness that the first one brought. Hopefully they won't change much, cause Portal was almost perfect the first time. Up to know, this is everything I could find on Portal 2 and hope you're all as excited for it as I am. Now, as an after thought... Valve has mentioned that up to now this installment of the Portal franchise will be only for Xbox 360 and PC, and to be honest I'm pissed. Valve always does this every time! Last time thanks to the generous minds at EA, we managed to get the Orange Box on PS3, and PS3 owner's loved Portal very VERY much. So why take it away now? That's the way Valve innovates I guess. Keep it on one system and greatly limit their market. Will I still buy Portal 2 on day one? Probably, but it won't be to purposely support Valve, it'll mainly be see the story and enjoy more puzzles at the hands of GLaDOS, but this isn't about me. It's about the hundreds of thousands of gamers out there that don't have a good PC or a 360. Why are they missing out? Valve, you suck for this...

Metro 2033 Impressions

Alright, so first off let me apologize for not having posted a blog in almost a week or so. Every night lately I've been playing Grand Theft Auto IV online and if all goes well, then soon I should have Grand Theft Auto Chronicles Episode 2 out for you guys, but anyways onto the topic at hand. Metro 2033 is a first person shooter designed in the post-apocalyptic Moscow? (I believe, or at least Russia or Germany... I can't recall)... Either way, it's not overly important, the only reason I say Moscow is cause I think I heard them mention it. Anyway, I rented the game from Rogers over the weekend and I've managed to clock in about 4 hours of gameplay so far and here's what I found...

As the game starts off it does a really good job at two things. Atmosphere and Story. It starts you off at a perfect point that draws you in and makes you believe you're actually in this realistic world. However, personally I find that that's where the glory ends. This game tends to suffer from quite a few things that can at times almost make the game repulsive. The biggest issue I've had up to this point, is the controls. Shooting, reloading, currency and even at times just healing yourself is a chore. I hate how the action button is where reload should be (X) and that the controls stray so far from Fallout, Call of Duty or even Killzone. I know this game is it's own, but by now I figured there would be some sort of universal controller map for FPS's cause it gets REALLY frustrating always trying to learn new controls for games that feel so similar.

Now my second problem, which you could call kind of bias, but why the hell isn't this on PS3? Like I'm not really rooting for one console or the other, but I have like twelve friends who would kill for a game like this and they're not getting it, because it's not on PS3. Personally do I think it would make a difference which system it's on? Yes, because first off I'm more used to a Playstation Controller (which could have, or could have not, simplified the controls for me), and with the PS3's mad processing power this game probably wouldn't suffer so much from ridiculous amounts of load times and graphical errors on shadows and textures on the surface. Now with having all that said, I'm not saying it's the 360's fault for the game's flaws. I'm just saying with this added to the PS3's line up THQ could have gotten more sales, and perhaps a greater experience.

Alright, so the story is pretty well written and the atmosphere is brilliantly done. All the characters feel realistic and the interactivity is phenomenal for the minor impact it has. The graphics are decent, more so in the metro than on the surface, but overall they're well done, but the gameplay really suffers from bad controls and a REALLY irritating currency system. Did they have a good idea for currency? Yes. Was it executed well? No, not by a long shot. Weapon upgrades come nicely provided you have the cash to pay for it (won't be damn likely) and I have to say the whole Gas mask thing is actually really cool. However, I don't get the point of the charger...

So yeah, overall this game kind of feels like Fallout meets Far Cry 2. Which can be bad or good depending on how you look at it. If I had to rate it right now? I'd give it a 7.5/10. It's pretty cool but I'm gonna wait till it's in an 18.99$ bin... or till it comes out on PS3.

Another Cool Title

On a side note before I start this blog, I want to start titling all my blogs with cool titles. Something like "Through a nightmare darkly" or "Where the feared thoughts roam". So I'm gonna try and do that while maintaining context from now on.

Today I went live on my new job for the first time. It's not bad. To be honest, I really enjoyed it. It's a lot more chill then cash would ever be and I work with a lot of great people aside from Dale.... but overall it's a great experience and really helps me learn how to deal with customers. Plus, it's a raise on the whole pay-rate! Yay!

Secondly, Pokémon HeartGold (Nintendo DS) is going very well. I'm really really enjoying it. A lot more than I enjoyed any of the more recent installations of the Pokémon games. It really brings me back to the good old days. I'm still trying to recollect all my old Pokémon crew from the days of the original Gold on gameboy. It's going to take a while, but I'm sure I should do fine. As a quick review I would entirely sum up my opinion of this game to be: If you haven't played a Pokémon game in years but you felt like it, this IS the game for you to pick up. I haven't played Pokémon in almost six years, but this title is totally worth it! So, in conclusion Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver are great and I give them 4.5 out of 5. So go pick it up right now!

Now saying all that, I haven't had a chance to play too much Final Fantasy XIII up to this point so I can't give a full opinion on it, but up now I'd say it's better than twelve but definitely far from seven. So base your opinion around that.

When it comes to gaming right now all I've been doing is Pokémon and Oblivion actually. Something got me back into it and it's all I can play. I truly do believe Oblivion is the greatest game of all time (minus all the glitches), and saying that, Fallout 3's not far off either. Both games are fantastic and if you haven't played them, do it now.

Being a huge Playstation 3 fan and personally owning GTA4 for the PS3, I'm quite excited to hear that the Ballad of Gay Tony and The Lost and the Damned release at the end of the month on the PC and PS3. My friend Joshua Alexander and I will be purchasing it day one, so expect to see us online quite a bit that week. After that, I have hopes we'll go back and beat Borderlands. I love that game! However, we do have some plans for hilarious GTA machinima's so maybe you'll see those sometime in the future, but as of right now they're just ideas. My close friend and colleague Braveworld just picked up an HD PVR so maybe we'll use that for proper quality. Whether we do that or not, I still can't wait to sink into the Ballad of Gay Tony!

As for everything else, I can't really complain at this point. Things seem to be going alright. A lot better than they were last week. Oh hey guys one last favor, I have a friend named Amanda Coneen. She's pretty hardcore into music and gaming and stuff and she's been trying really hard to keep up with blog, so it'd mean a lot to me if you guys could go and check out her blog. The Simple Things To Come

Y'know. Sometimes in life I think we all really need something to look forward to. Something solid. Something we know will exist when we get to that point y'know. I think every man, woman, dog, cat, bird, plane or species has that feeling inside them. That feeling when they get what they're after. That ultimate sense of accomplishment and pride. Right now, I'm so tired and stressed I can't wait to feel that feeling again. After all this is over, I'm taking a break. A break from everything except work. I just want to be able to sit back, relax, play some Oblivion or GTA and not have to worry about a single g**-***n thing. Right now, I'm so wired and so tired and very very on edge and I guess this blog is mainly just one big rant. I know things will get better, I'm just saying I can't wait till they do cause I got one big headache and I can't wait for it to go away.

Gold and Silver

In my last few days working for the Electronics Staff at Superstore, I managed to hold in my hands over 10 copies of Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. I can't believe I'm actually saying this about pokémon, but DAMN! I'm friggen excited for this game. I hope Steph gets it the same day I do cause all I'm going to want to do is play it all day long, but that probably won't happen :( - You see I'm changing jobs and for this week I'm going in GM (General Merchandise) which is only one step down from Electronics. After that, I'll be back on Pushing Shopping Carts until one of the places I applied at calls me. So here's hoping it's soon.

So I've also concluded that I have the best girlfriend in the world. Today at work Stephanie brought me the BIG SISTER figurine from Bioshock 2 that I was missing, so now I have Delta and The Big Sister (I'll show you in my next video). That completely and totally made my day, and it's just another one of those things that made me believe in Karma. Cause earlier today I drove an elderly lady that was my grandmother's friend to the bowling alley she wanted to go to, and since, all day good things have been happening. I don't know, maybe that's just me but I find it to be one weird coincidence.

Anyways, in conclusion, I'm sorry for not posting as many blog posts as I used to. I just rarely find time. Also, I noticed a lot of you don't comment or ask questions like you used to. I'm not sure the exact reason for that, but I can assure you, it's more than alright to ask questions. I'll try my best to answer them ASAP. Living the high life...

Alright guys, so this blog is going to be a rant. Umm. So where do I start? Well life's been good. No, that's not true, life's been all over-the-place. I'm dealing with a lot of different stuff right now and I'm not really sure what's good and what's bad. So how bout we do this? I'll tell you what's been going on and we'll look at the good side, and the bad side of it.

#1: I kind of lost my job...
Good side: I'll finally be able to leave superstore and hopefully find something else that pays more.

Bad side: Well, I'm out of a job. EB doesn't give me any hours anymore and well now I need at least 32+ to survive.

#2: I got to hold Final Fantasy XII
Good side: I friggen got a chance to hold FFXIII before the release date! Like a week before, and I got a picture as proof!

Bad side: I didn't get to play it :(

...Alright, that's enough. Now there's no doubt in the world that there's at least 100 other things going on right now, but I can't take the time to compare all of them. So I'll just tell you what I'm looking forward too and what's going.

First off, here's a list of games I KNOW I'm getting so that that way there I can try and avoid the millions of questions like "Are You Getting (insert title i'm probably not getting here)?" So here it is, my roster for this year:

- Final Fantasy XIII (PS3)
- Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep (PSP)
- Pokémon HeartGold (DS)
- Fallout: New Vegas

Now that's it for CONFIRMED titles. If I do end up getting anything else it's going to be by chance, but those ones there are certain alright? So yeah, aside from that Braveworld and I have been working hard on Videoslave, for those of you who don't know what that is, I don't have time to explain. A group that makes videos. Happy? Alright. We got some videos planned that should be good. Up to now I managed to keep up my Youtube schedule as promised so yea I'm proud of that, and I've managed to create a new goals list that I need to start working on. What's been going on... (March 2010)

Alright guys, well a lot's been happening. Been going through some good times and some bad. Looks like soon enough I'm going to have to do a job change. Thinking about going to work at a Call Center to try and make more money and get more hours. At least that way I'll finally get out of Superstore and experience something new. EB Games hasn't been giving me too many hours lately, or else I would have relied on them, but I soon see my career there ending as well so yeah, time to try for something with more money involved. So I'm going to try for that as soon as possible.

In other, better, news. Videoslave is getting together really well. Up to now I have a cast of five actors and two film crew. Not bad for just starting out. We're planning on making an assortment of Youtube videos as well as a full length feature film which we'll be filming over the summer and fall of 2010. At this time we're not willing to give out any more details, but just know it's suppose to be a comedy unlike anything any of us have ever done before.

Aside from that I'm keeping up with the Youtube schedule I posted and I'm hoping that Videoslave will get together to create the Heavy Rain review coming up later this month. If not, we'll do it for a future one, but I tell you. Heavy Rain deserves an amazing review. Expect the written review of Bioshock this Sunday! The Console War

The console war has been going on for so long now and over what? Isn't suppose to be about the games? A lot of people tend to forget about that. I remember back in the day with Atari, Colecovision, Intellivision and all that stuff you never heard anyone talking about how one console was "better" than the other. It was about THE GAMES but now at days it seems like a lot of people have forgotten that.

For the hell of it though, let's look at what we're arguing about. So here's what I understand... Microsoft creates this half-fast system (Xbox 360) and tries to release it a year before everyone else to get a head start at the next-gen war. The only problem, it has over a 35% failure rate, it scratches your disks if you move the console and at the time the graphics weren't even that much better than the original Xbox. So after that a year later Sony releases this console (Playstation 3) that's highly over-priced but well worth it for performance reasons. It has an 8-cell multicore processor, less than a 5% failure rate, it can play Blu-rays, It has wireless controllers with motion sensors that charge (That's right, no batteries), they offer FREE decent online gameplay but start off with a shitty list of games. Then there's the Wii.... ....I really have like nothing to say about the Wii cause you can't even put it in the console war. Almost everyone and their Grandpa has a Wii. Does anyone really use it? Probably not, but still. So there, you have these two consoles. Both with their flaws but none the less two fully operating consoles.

A lot of people decide to go with the Xbox 360, mainly for it's price point. Other people go with the PS3 for it's pure raw power. Looking back on it now, I remember wanting a 360 very badly when they first came out, but now I'm kind of glad I didn't get one back then. Going with the PS3 was the smartest choice I ever made. Mainly for one IMPORTANT reason. I'm a collector. One day far down the road I'm going to look back on this generation of gaming and I'm going to want to play some classics like "Oblivion", "Fallout 3" and "Bioshock", and when I do I want a system that's going to work, and hold up to the test of time. With Xbox's 35% failure rate, it would be un-acceptable to have a console ten years down the road that I would have to either replace or repair (Who would repair them then?). So in the long run I'm really happy with my PS3.

Now a lot of people have made complaints about the PS3, but when it comes down to it Xbox really has nothing on it (Especially after 'Playstation Premium' comes out). When I ask people what makes Xbox better than PS3, they got nothing. Nothing at all. Sure the online is "Better" on 360 but the PS3 online community is a more than fantastic online network. So really, I don't see the point in arguing. I could go on and stuff but that's just my view on the console war. I didn't want to be mean or offend anyone. After all, they're just pieces of plastic with a couple circuit boards attached. It's the games that matter and that's it. So for now I hope you all have a wonderful day but I gotta get going!

I just hope that an amazing system like the PS3 doesn't go extinct over something stupid like the Sega Dreamcast did. That system was amazing.

Heavy Rain (Extra)

Every time I go on youtube or something I always see Xbox fanboys yelling about how the game sucks and all this stuff. For any of you out there who doesn't want to play to Heavy Rain cause it's not an FPS or cause it's too slow pace. You're really REALLY missing out and I only have one thing to say that can sum it all up....

Heavy Rain Releases Today!

I'm very excited for the release of Heavy Rain. Looking back on it, I remember talking about this game with my first girlfriend almost five years ago. That's how long I've been waiting for this title! Her and I even filmed our own Heavy Rain short for Media Pro Class. Good times, good times. I can't believe it's finally here, and a lot different than what we expected all the way back then. Tomorrow a friend of mine is going to let me into the store a tad bit early so I can get my copy and come home and play it. Which I'm really grateful for. I really can't wait. I'm not doing anything else all day tomorrow.

On a side note, I got messaged from a friend last night who I hadn't heard from in a while. For those of you who've been on youtube for a while you all know her as Tatsplat. Well, we had a rather short conversation, but I'm happy to let all of you who are concerned know, that she is doing well and everything's going alright. I was really happy to hear from her, considering it had been ages since we last spoke. So it kind of made my night.

Aside from that, I'm off to play Heavy Rain. This saturday I'm going to see a Beatles cover band called "The Liverpool Legends" so I hope they'll be pretty good. Anyways, until next time. I hope you all go out and get Heavy Rain! In Stores Feb. 23 2010 (North America)

What's been going on...

Alright guys, so like you all obviously know, it's been a while since I last put out any videos. I really want to apologize for that but to honest a lot's been going on once again. First off, we ended up filming the Bioshock 2 Review like we had planned, but after some reviewing of it I'm not too sure if I like it or not. It's not done with editing but I just don't know if it's what I want to put up. I can't even tell you why, it's just this feeling in my gut that says "RE-DO THIS ONE" and normally when I don't listen to my gut, bad things happen so I need to figure out what I'm going to do with that.

Secondly work has been a pain, but in a good way. I've got A LOT of hours. Ranging from 32 - 42 hours a week which is great! I need the money, but the problem is the hours. I normally work 1pm to 10pm which means that when I get home I do what I gotta do and then hit to bed so it's been really hard trying to find time to shoot videos. I've been off the last two days but I'll be honest, I'm just not feeling it for filming right at this moment and I think it might be because I've been doing this every week for like a year straight, and that was back with school and all that, so it's been a while. I'm not saying I don't like filming but what I'm saying is I think I need a little time to try and change it up. I originally planned for videos to be released this weekend, but I'm afraid it's going to have to wait. I'm going to hold them off to next weekend and I'm sorry for those of you that are disappointed by this, but I promise a week's all I need to get back in "the groove."

In the meantime, if you're new to my youtube page I urge you to go back and check out some of my older videos. Some of my personal favorites are: All That Remains Rock Band Contest, My Talents, Violet Hill Tribute, Cubix War and the My Day Off (No matter how cheezy it is). Those ones there are awesome. Also, keep in mind I'm also making some videos that are ONLY AVAILABLE on Facebook. So make sure to go and check out those videos too (It's cause Youtube blocks them). So yeah, enjoy that!

Aside from that I've been playing Bioshock 2 and I can't wait to get Heavy Rain this week. I've also been playing a lot of Guitar, trying to improve there and even some story writing so that's been kind of cool. Oh I've also been movie collecting and working out as well (I'm hopeing to get in shape for summer.) but aside from that work's kept me busy. So sorry to break this to you guys, but I need an extra week's vacation. See you guys around February 28th!

Single Day Productions is now Videoslave

This is not much of a post but I thought you should know. We were originally planning on doing a new series (or a bunch of new series) under the title Single Day Productions, but now that name has changed to Videoslave. Up to now the cast will consist of myself, Joshua Alexander, Stephanie Saunders, Ryan Gains and Nigel (from TheGamerz01). So make sure to stay constant for future updates.

Alright so now that I'm done Bioshock 2 I can finally post a review really soon. There's a couple videos I've been working on and stuff and I hope to get it all out soon. So here's the line up so far.

Heavy Rain (Demo) Impressions

A long time ago a small company named Quantic Dream released a game called Indigo Prophecy (Farenheit). Indigo Prophecy was a game unlike any other. It played unlike any other and told a story unlike any other and it all came together to be one of the most fulfilling, entertaining and enjoyable experiences on the PS2, Xbox and PC. Now more than four years later comes their second title Heavy Rain, exclusive to the Playstation 3.

Now Heavy Rain is an adult based experience game that, like Indigo Prophecy, is completely different than anything else out there. It tells a deep involving story that emotional grabs the player and completely immerses you. Now for a lot of PS3 owners Heavy Rain is a highly anticipated title (as it is with me) and today I finally got a chance to the play the demo just released on the Playstation Network.

From what I experienced I can say the game is most definitely solid. It does tell the dramatic involving and gripping storyline we've all anticipated while created a believable atmosphere and decent graphics. The voice acting is almost key on with plenty of dialogue and optional events present and it has an over-all unforgettable feel. Now, while this is just a demo and I haven't spent more than an hour with it it's hard for me to give an in-depth review of this game, however I do have a few nit-pics that are kind of a let down, but my opinion may change after I'm more exposed to the title. First off, why in the hell is R2 walk? That's what the left stick is suppose to be for (However, I do like how the pressure sensitivity of the R2 button determines your velocity.)! Secondly the action sequences have these, not so much hard but, awkward situations where you have to hold like 4 buttons at once while trying to move your finger onto a fifth button while removing the first button. Sounds complicated? It is, however once you get used to it, it's not so bad.

On a more positive note, something I was worried about was the motion controls not being functional, but up to now, that's not the case which is a good thing. They seem to work rather well and don't seem to hinder the experience at all.

So up to now, rather than a few nit-pics, I have to say Heavy Rain is looking to be that game we've all been waiting for. Hopefully the whole R2 walk thing won't hinder it and we'll get used to it soon enough. Aside from that, I'm picking it up day one, after that you can check out my full review on my Youtube Page. 1000 Subscribers!

On February 10th 2010 my Youtube page finally reached over 1000 subscribers! It sure has been a long journey so far and I know I still got a long journey ahead. Just a little over 1 year on Youtube I managed to hit this landmark, which to me is an achievement I originally didn't consider myself capable of but now it's happened and I couldn't be more thankful.

First off there's a lot of people I would like to thank. First off my friends from down home. Every single one of you guys who helped put together any number of these videos from scratch. You guys helped me with so much. Whether it just be inspiration, editing, acting, laughing, viewing or just simply being there when I needed you guys. Without you none of this would have possible.

Secondly I'd like to thank both PeteDorr and Happy Console Gamer for all the inspiration you guys have given me thus far. If it wasn't for PeteDorr subscribing to my channel so early in I don't think I would have made it this far, so an extra thanks to you Pete, and for Johnny, well man if it wasn't for your shout-out you and I both know I'd still be sitting at 750 right now working my tail off. lol, but that's okay, cause I love doing these videos but none the less thank you.

Third off, I'd like to thank Nigel (TheGamerz01) for being such a great personal friend over the last few months and for always watching my videos and commenting. I'm really glad that my videos were able to help you out during some tough times and I hope that my videos were able to help a number of different people. I'd also like to personally thank a couple other Youtubers: Sarynthra for being the coolest dude on Youtube and supporting me through all these months. xXNintendoBeastXx (sorry if I spelt it wrong) for always being one of the first people to comment on my videos. I still remember the first time I saw your room tour I thought it was exquisite! So keep up the good work. JerichoX13 for being so persistent and not giving up on the Youtube community he loves. We've all had our rough times but soon enough things will equal out. Uberpwner93 for being one of the greatest friends and inspirations I met on Youtube. I love you stuff man and remember, never give up no matter what anyone says, and I'm sure there's many many many more people who have made my life a lot better for just being there and watching my videos every week. Everything you guys do and say I really take to heart and it really means a lot to hear your opinions and comments.

Lastly, I'd like to thank my subscribers. Without you guys none of this would be possible. It's you all that got me to this point and just like everyone else I really do appreciate you going and watching my videos, checking out my blogs and all that stuff. It's really cool to get to know Gamers and non-Gamers from all over the world and sharing all this stuff with you has definitely been a blast and I can't wait to see what's ahead.

Now one last thing I wanted to mention as I write this is plans for the future. My friends and I have been working on a channel. A channel that's been in development for almost two months now but is still not ready to be released. We hope to start it up by Fall at the latest and we're hoping that you'll all want to be a part of it when the time comes (we'll release more info at a later date). Secondly, This week I'll be releasing at least two videos. One being an unboxing of Bioshock 2: Collector's Edition and the other being a 1000 Subscribers Special! Next week I'm hoping to do a Review on Bioshock 2 but before I can I really need to finish it from start to finish and I'm almost there so don't worry. Bioshock 2 is here!

Finally after months (to some years) of waiting, Bioshock 2 is finally here! Now a lot of us have been waiting for this since we first ventured through Rapture's ocean filled halls back in 2007. Now this time here it looks like everything's been re-vamped and prepared for another go at Rapture's underbelly.
