So you maybe wondering what does your emotional well being have to do with diabetes? Well, there a lot of factors that contribute toward diabetes, including other diseases as well. But one factor that many of us don't put into consideration is our emotional health.&lt;br /&gt;

One example would be stress. Most of us knows that stress kills. Stress effects our immune system and it makes us more susceptible to diseases. And when you're stressed out, you're not likely to take better care of yourself. You're not likely to eat nutritious foods or exercise. When stress persists in our bodies, it causes the pancreas (the organ around your stomach that produces insulin) to work harder, producing more insulin. Overtime, the overproduction of insulin, resulting from stress as well as poor eating and physical inactivity, causes the pancreas to shut down, thus, causing diabetes.&lt;br /&gt;

Diabetes is sometimes triggered by lack of joy in one's life, as well as a bad diet and physical inactivity. When the emotions are out of balance, the physical body can exhibit nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, immune conditions, or disease symptoms.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The CDC states that 85% of all (physical) diseases have an emotional component; other experts claim that this number may be as high as 100%. It is no longer a secret that our physical health is deeply connected to our mental projections and beliefs. While this may scare many who are not ready to take responsibility for how they feel, what they think, and their beliefs about their world, it is also hugely powerful, putting the power back in our hands. Through our choices of how we deal with our thoughts and emotions, we are responsible for and truly in control of our health and well-being.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;b&gt;So, what can you do to keep this from happening to you?&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
- If you're surrounded by people who're living unhealthy lifestyles, deviate away from these people and surround yourself with people who are living healthy lifestyles.&lt;br /&gt;
- Find activities you really enjoy: Listen to some good music, do some workouts you enjoy, read inspiring books, associate with inspiring people, travel, and so on.&lt;br /&gt;

Type 2 diabetes is almost completely preventable and eating more fresh vegetables is often the advice given to diabetics at diagnosis. Although this is the age of organic eating this does not mean the fresh fruit and vegetables in your eating plan need to be organic.&lt;br /&gt;

It almost looks like the hippies of old have finally won, and the world is saying, "peace, love and if you don't grow it yourself you shouldn't be eating it in the first place". Needless to say, that slogan wouldn't be catchy enough for most t-shirts. But regardless, a lot of people have been completely sold on the notion of eating organic produce. But believe it or not, a lot of people don't realize a lot of things about organic food they really should. And not just because it's expensive, but also because this has an effect on your health. Seriously, when your health is at stake, you really can't know too much.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;a name='more'&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
For one thing, did you know that no studies have ever shown that organic produce is any healthier, or contributes in any way to better health, than regular fresh produce? While it is more emotionally appealing to think that organic food must be better for you because they don't use chemical pesticides on it, the fact is that these pesticides are washed and cooked off before you eat them anyway. Even eating fruits off of trees where pesticides were used makes absolutely no difference, as far as the medical and scientific communities have been able to identify. That is the main reason why there is no legal definition for organic produce... and thus, there is little to no capacity to verify one way or the next.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Taking a step back, all "organic" means is that the growing methods used did not include any chemical pesticides. While chemicals such as DDT are now illegal for anyone to use, modern farmers have been using all sorts of other pesticides for well over a hundred years. And probably they are going to continue using all manner of weed killing, bug killing and whatever other types of pesticides that are necessary to make sure their crops grow up healthy enough so they can be sold at market.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
There is not even a legal requirement for a food product to be called "organic" on its packaging, so there isn't even any proof (or any way to find out), of the validity of such a claim.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Whether you have Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes or not, there is no evidence to suggest that eating organically grown products is any healthier than eating any other freshly grown goods. While it's admirable people want to do whatever it takes to make their bodies work better, this is a little on the misguided side. Focus on eating fresh foods with low glycemic indexes and glycemic loads, and stay active.&lt;br /&gt;

Group C and D took a diet rich in antioxidant with 800 to 1000 milligrams a day of fruits and vegetables but group D took metformin aside from the compulsory diet.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;P&gt;All the groups lose weight but only Group C and D had a decrease on insulin resistance. Group D shows the best improvement since they are given a fruit and vegetable diet combined with metformin.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;P&gt;Subjects never showed any side effect from the diet. Mancini believes that 800 to 1,000 milligrams a day of fruits and vegetable diet is just safe. It is the safe amount of fruit and vegetable that can be taken in one day.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;P&gt;I come from a diabetes prone family. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Chain&amp;nbsp;5&lt;/strong&gt; - Vision problems, then, back problems, then feet problems, then cholesterol .... and sometimes, it started with overeating and eating wrong foods! You see how easy the chain of illness and disease is built?&lt;br /&gt;

When the glucose concentration is high in the blood it will 'absorb' the water from the interstitial fluid (the part between blood capillary and the cells) in order to balance up the concentration between these 2 parts of the body. This will eventually cause the body cells to lose water in to the bloodstream and it is the dehydrated cells that send out Thirsty signal to the brain.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;a name='more'&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;P&gt;Now come to the kidneys. As soon as the blood enters the nephron (smallest processing unit) in the kidney, almost all the fluid and (and the dissolved substances) are the blood is sieved out into the urine tubules. And then the re-absorption process takes place where the nephron reabsorbs the useful nutrients together with water back into the bloodstream. But when there is too much glucose in the urine tubule, the high concentration creates an osmotic difference that resists the re-absorption mechanism. That will reduce the amount of water being reabsorbed back into the bloodstream and that is what cause the frequent urination experienced by diabetic patients.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;P&gt;Knowing that, it is very important for a diabetes victim to drink enough water every day to replenish the water lost.
