Bali is not only about the cultures and beaches but Bali has several mountains with its panoramic and uniqueness is worth to try to hiking and see Bali from the highest place. One of them is Hiking to mount of Batur Kintamani for beautiful Sun rise. Geologically Bali is obviously still active with two main active volcanic centres, the Mount Agung and Mount Batur.

Mount Batur Climbing Route:
There are many routes you can take to reach the top. From Kintamani there is even a road leading close to the top of the mountain from where you have to walk a little bit. If you want to go for a real hike than you can choose between the shortest trail (2h up, 1,5h down) from Pura Jati which is located on the west side of the lake or the somewhat longer trail starting from Toya Bungkah, a next village further from Pura Jati. Most travelers start from this point however either way.

Sorry not post something for a while as school holidays and we are bit busy in Bali.

I like to say thanks you my new friend clients from Melbourne Australia. They took a couple programs with me in The Company to enjoy their holidays in Bali.

First they did ATV Ride in Tabanan Regency. The Company for ATV Ride we call it "SEE Bali Adventure" which located in Wangaya Village north of Tabanan Regency probably 1 hour drive from Kuta or Legian Area. This activities is start early morning around 7.00 am to 8.00 am from your hotel and also they available for afternoon trip its will be start from your hotel by 10 am. My recommendation for you guys ...better to do it in the morning as the air is still fresh as you will do this activity up in the mountain (Mount Batukaru).

Second program they did white water rafting which is one of the best adventure in BALI. If you are looking for more adventure white water rafting with grade 3 or 4 we recommend you to do this at Telaga waja river east bali (Karangasem). We joint with Bali View rafting which is a great start point not to long to get to the river and also half way up to finish point. So you do not have to worry much about the step they have in most rafting company.

Other think I like to say thanks for you guys, they did elephant ride (long one / 1 hour) and combine with sight seeing to visit Tanah Lot Temple. Elephant ride ride in Bali is bit more expensive if we compare with other country like Thailand. We do not have elephant in Bali so we have to bring them from other Island of Indonesia (Sumatra) to get it. With this reason we spend lots of money to bring it here. And also we did help to look after them over there. So we share your money to help protecting the environment and habitat of Indonesia Elephant.

Well Guys once again thanks you so much for your visit to our island and kept me busy to handle you during your staying in Bali. I hope will see you again next time and the would are getting smaller by the net. Thanks to be add me on FB which is great and we can always keep in touch.

If you interest to do some activities for adventure programs, tour, or other thing please contacts us here I will do my best for your Bali Holidays. Have agreat days my friend cheers.

Bali Driver Guide

Dear Guest, Planning to visit Bali ? It is a day of silence, fasting, and meditation. Travelers to Bali will have a great opportunity to sense a unique and magical atmosphere when Balinese Hindus celebrate New Year Eve.

The Nyepi Day is the day of absolute silence throughout the island when no activity is done, no traffic is seen anywhere, no fire is lit and no amusement held along the day. For the Balinese Hindus, the Nyepi Day is the day of self - introspection for Hindu followers when the entire island turns to be just like being deserted. The observance will start before sunset on March 16, 2010 and will last until sunrise on March 17, 2010.

Although Nyepi is primarily a Hindu holiday, non-Hindu residents of Bali observe the day of silence as well, out of respect for their fellow citizens. Even tourists are not exempt; although free to do as they wish inside their hotels, no one is allowed onto the beaches or streets, and the only airport in Bali remains closed for the entire day. The only exceptions granted are for emergency vehicles carrying those with life-threatening conditions and women about to give birth.

When the event takes place, Bali will be the only place where people are ignoring any activities the whole day. All of the flights at the International Ngurah Rai Airport, harbor and other kinds of transportation are closed all day long. Lights in public areas, corridors and balconies will be switched off. All recreational spots will be temporarily closed. Therefore, it would be advisable for domestic and foreign visitors to stay at their own hotels.

All business enterprises, academic matters, government offices and other public services will be temporarily closed, except for some hotels that are only allowed to hold such inbound activities, within the minimized lights and noises, and the guests will be asked to stay inside the hotel. Activities in emergency rooms and maternity section of hospitals will be allowed. Any emergencies will be taken into consideration and tolerated.

Nyepi is derived from the word 'sepi' that means silent. As a religious event of Balinese Hindus, Nyepi is a symbolical replay of these philosophical principles. The world is 'clean' in the beginning of the year.

All Hindu followers will be obliged to do the Catur Brata Penyepian (four ways of realization the Nyepi Day).

* There should not be fire (amati geni)
* No works or activities to do (amati karya).
* They won't be allowed to have fun (amati lelanguan)
* Not to travel (amati lelungan).
It is totally silence. The anti-climax of the meditation will be held the following day. It is called Ngembak Geni, where the people are happy and blessed for their success of controlling themselves. It is also the day of get-togetherness and family gathering.

Thanks to Mr Danny and Ms Yukari ( Malaysia )

Hi Mr Danny & Ms Yukari
