Rather beautiful - Here is my free-growing and free-climbing pink rose!

The first flowering is almost over, so I gently shook it and the ground got covered in petals.

Thanksgiving weekend in Vancouver BC

Yep, that's where we went, hubby & I.

First time in 15 years that I didn't spend time with my kids (or grand kids).

We had a great long weekend.

Only 5 hrs drive from our home north of Vancouver WA :)

All my expectations were met + more!

A pearl of a city.

We stayed close to the waterfront downtown, on the 15th floor.

More coffee-shops than I have ever seen in one place!

We caught the Christmas parade, before we left;- spectacular.

If you live as close to the Canadian border as we do:

Vancouver BC is a city I can highly recommend!

Highlight: The sugar buns at Giovanie. The most delicious treat with cream filling!
(We went there twice cause I fell in love)
