I've ditched YouTube - for real this time.

2026-05-27T07:46:02.564-07:00

Sure it means leaving some creators (and content) behind, but if we're being honest some of it was getting to be the same thing over and over again. Besides, I simply cannot get behind the AI content starting to take over, or..

You know what? I have nothing more to say.

Never mind.

I guess I'm still not ready to leave YouTube.

I've cut the cord.

I once thought this would never happen, but I have cancelled my cable TV service. It was getting too expensive, and was no longer worth the cost.

That's it for now.

I refuse to elaborate.

I've (mostly) had enough of YouTube.

2024-08-13T20:55:00.000-07:00

I would leave entirely, except at least one of my favorite content creators can't really be found anywhere else.

In any case, I can see a future where I leave for good.

Just saying hi.

2021-02-22T12:00:00.003-08:00

Later.

It's been a long and crappy year.

2020-11-10T11:44:00.002-08:00

At this point, let's not assume 2021 will be much better.

On the upside, I have some less debt to deal with.

I don't really have anything to say; I just wanted to confirm that I haven't forgotten about this.

2020-04-15T13:42:00.000-07:00

I do have one bit of news, though. I've finally paid off the back rent for our former apartment, so that's $25 less I have to bother with.

That's it for now.

I'm still not dead.

2020-01-28T10:36:00.001-08:00

That is all.

Sorry for falling back on an old cliche...

2019-03-20T11:53:00.001-07:00

but Spring has sprung! And not a moment too soon. Honestly, I've had my fill of cold weather for a lifetime.

Also, I think I'm finally getting used to living in my current apartment.

It's official.

If I never see a flake of snow again, it'll be too soon.

Lots of snow, out of nowhere

2019-02-04T19:10:00.000-08:00

Just when I thought winter was taking this year off...

2018 never happened, we all just imagined it. That's why I have no 2018 posts.

2019-01-27T15:58:00.002-08:00

But seriously, it seems I let this get away from me again.

First of all, I've moved out of the apartment complex where I used to live. The new place isn't too bad, although I'm no longer within walking distance of all those fast food places. Not that it matters, since it'll be a while before I can really afford any of that.

Also, there's no dishwasher, but as time goes on I'm minding that less and less.

That's all for now.

I WAS KIDNAPPED BY NINJAS AND CHUCK NORRIS SAVED ME!

2017-10-28T15:17:00.001-07:00

Seriously, though, I have no good reason to be away for this long. I just sort of forgot about posting here.

Also, I may end up getting the Switch by the end of the year, or at least early next year.

Just checking in.

2017-04-06T22:01:00.000-07:00

I thought inspiration might hit me while I was starting this post, but it hasn't.

It has gotten noticeably warmer, though, and I'm going out wearing what I usually wear indoors.

That's it for now.

Winter is officially over.

2017-03-20T09:51:00.000-07:00

And not a moment too soon. I never thought that would become my least favorite season. Then against, summer could always reclaim that title...

I must not be Irish, because luck sure wasn't with me today.

2017-03-17T18:46:00.001-07:00

I played a tabletop RPG today, and got several natural 1s when I otherwise could've avoided bad results. At the end, the party probably would've been wiped out if one of us hadn't landed an attack at the very last moment.

Actually, maybe luck was with us after all.

In any case, I'm thinking of having a serious talk with my d20...

Charter has now fully become Spectrum.

2017-03-08T19:59:00.000-08:00

It'll take me a while to get used to the company's new name, and I'm convinced that it had something to do with my email not working for a little while today.

On the upside, it seems the snow is done for the season. I'm not sorry to see it gone, and if next winter is anything like this one was, I do not look forward to it. At all.

I'll come back here when I have something to say.

I'll see you again on Sunday!

2017-02-17T07:49:00.001-08:00

I'll try not to have too much fun.

Nothing to post about, really.

2017-02-12T09:12:00.000-08:00

I just wanted to avoid the habit of going weeks or months at a time without posting anything here. Last time that happened, I ended up pretty much forgetting this existed.

Also, if things continue as they have there won't be much evidence left that it had snowed here. At least we won't have to worry about a drought.

Yet more snow...

2017-02-08T19:45:00.003-08:00

Seriously, I'm about to strangle that groundhog.

SNOWMAGEDDON!!!

2017-01-31T15:01:00.001-08:00

...was a total flop. Seriously, it looked like there would be a ton of snow throughout the day, but at this point just about everything that came down is gone. I hope it stays that way.

The weather's gotten somewhat better.

2017-01-23T12:44:00.002-08:00

At least I'm able to avoid most of the ice while going places.

I never thought I'd say this...

2017-01-17T09:00:00.000-08:00

but I'm completely over winter.

I've been up since last year.

2017-01-01T02:18:00.001-08:00

I was about to post more, but I really have nothing to say.
