Sunday Favorites #3 - December

2012-12-02T15:46:00.000-08:00

Favorite December sport

If it has frozen and there is some ice, I'll definitely go ice-skating.

Just an hour of skating makes me relaxed and calm, I love it!

Favorite December drink

With ice-skating comes a ritual: hot chocolate with whipped cream.

I'm seriously addicted. I know it's bad for you, but I try to run a lot,

so I feel less guilty..

Favorite Christmas tree

I think the Christmas tree of Times Square is one of the most beautiful trees of the world. It gives so much sphere, joy and all of those lights, so amazing! The city looks even more beautiful with this tree. Each year I look forward getting my own tree and decorate it. This week I will look for a nice one!

Favorite December party

I love Christmas. In the Dutch culture we celebrate Sint Nicolas,

which I also liked when I was little. Christmas is still important.

Cozy with family, good food and looking for an amazing Christmas outfit. Although I almost always work with Christmas, yes, working in a restaurant, I always make time for my family at Christmas.

Favorite December moment

The 12 hour moment, New Years Eve, is a special moment to me.

You close one year and with renewed courage and a list of good intentions you'll start a new year.

I always take a moment to think about all the good memories of that year and secretly adjust my good resolution list, hihi..

Favorite December day

My favorite december day is the first day when you wake up and all you see is white. The first day of snow. Ideally, I take the day off and take a walk with my boyfriend and dog Kemy. Dress warm and enjoy the beautiful white world.

What are your good resolutions? And what are the plans for Christmas and New Years Eve?

I'm so curious!

Sun and Rainbow

2012-11-30T00:47:00.005-08:00

Yesterday, when I was traveling back from school, on my left I saw the sky turn dark and on my right beautiful sunshine. Immediately I took my camera and made some pictures in the area. Beautiful setting right? Fifteen minutes following it started to rain very hard. So mission accomplished.

Inspiration: The Notebook

2012-11-27T00:57:00.000-08:00

A little going back in time.. The Notebook, one of the greatest movies I've ever seen and a real musthave in every girl's dvd collection. The story behind this is so beautiful and the chemic between Ryan and Rachel is amazing. So a few days ago I searched for Nicolas Sparks quotes and I found these pics. So lovely.. Feel like watching the movie for the, uh.. ninth time tonight..

Love her style: Ashley Olsen

2012-11-15T00:51:00.002-08:00

Ashley looks good, as always! Comfy, but stylish. She's wearing a grey top, black jeans and black espadrilles. The pink scarf and beautiful bag look amazing with the other 'basic' items of her outfit. I love it and would wear it myself! She is a huge inspiration for me.

Rihanna does nude: V magazine & GQ

2012-11-14T03:49:00.000-08:00

And she does it again. Everyone talks about Rihanna. After her performance at the Victoria Secret show last week and the rumors about Chris and Ri, now there are these wonderful pictures. She looks amazing, being just who she is, confident and beautiful, what a woman. On the cover of GQ magazine and a shoot with Kate Moss in V magazine. Two strong women together in a picture, I love it. Riri puts a line under 2012 in a fabulous way already!

I am a very bad Cosmo subscriber. I'm just three months behind, I just started reading in Cosmo August. Very bad he. Reading this magazing takes so long with me. A Grazia or Jackie I read out immediately. Cosmo's are just books for me. So, a little late, but I have found a beautiful shoot the Cosmopolitan of June. This I wanted to share with you. Instadiary: October

2012-11-03T17:23:00.001-07:00

October is already over, time flies. Soon it's time for Christmas and St. Nicholas, our Dutch holiday. Time of cold, sitting cozy by the fire and candle light. October was a busy month. I had a lot of birthdays and parties. Very nice, only I was sick half the month, which not really helps. I went to a football match with my little brother for the first time and had a few wonderful evenings at home. As you may have read, I started with a 10 km training, so I do a lot of morning runs, which turned in beautiful pictures. The highlight though was the shopping day I had with my boyfriend in Bremen. Together we've shopped the whole Primark empty, really a great day! Now on to November, a new period of school, birthdays of my grandpa and dad and a lot of other fun things!

What are your November plans?

Love her style: Ashley Tisdale

2012-11-01T14:55:00.002-07:00

Ashley Tisdale, during one of her shopping trips, she looks really fashionable! The beautiful gray maxi dress with that cool jacket looks great on her. I'm soo in love with her heels! What a beautiful color, isn't it? She gives her outfit that last touch with the red Chanel bag. Overall I think it's a pretty picture of Ashley. Her hair is also sooo lovely, with the loose braid.

What do you think?

Inspiration: Running ladiess

2012-10-24T06:52:00.004-07:00

Hello!

Yesterday I started with a 10 km training. When I run, I run no more than 5 to 6 kilometers. And I want more! So I downloaded the app RunKeeper and I found this training. In a few weeks, I should be able to run 10 km. I have been running quite nice and my first workout went well, but I really need motivation and inspiration to go trough with it. I get this by reading the blogs of Annemerel and the girls from GirlsLove2Run, but these pictures would also help if I prefer my lazy ass on the couch instead of go for a run.

What do you do to motivate yourself?!

Shopping: Trio Bracelets, blazer and partydress!

2012-10-21T15:07:00.001-07:00

Trio gold bracelets

Hello sweeties!

I did some shopping this weekend. Friday my H&M packet came in with this beautiful dark green blazer, I was so happy with it! Something different than the normal beige or black color that I usually wear. Saturday morning I went into town with my girl Bo to look for a party outfit. My boss gave a party with the theme: Dress to impress. I think I did a good job with this dark-blue and black tight dress. Of not, I at least have had a nice evening! The trio bracelets, which fit amazing with my rose watch, also from the same webshop, you can find at modemusthaves.com, super nice and to combine with everything.

Do you like these shopping items and what did you all did this weekend?
