Fox 6 News Exploits Jefferson County Worker Taking Bribes On Video

What Is This World Coming To? This morning Fox6 news aired video footage of a Jefferson County Employee taking bribes at the courthouse, in exchange to advance in line for license plate or tag renewals. This a sad but unfortunately, true story. I for one, am relieved that someone decided to expose them for the non-sense that occurs within the department of motor vehicles. The sad part of the situation is that, that is merely the story in parts. It's senseless that a person should have to stand in line for hours on end to pay, your hard earned money for a sticker. The story revealed that more than one person is involved, it also shows the employee signaling a sidekick. Question is- just how many are in on this whole bribery sting? While the video reflected the dishonesty, it did not reveal the bad attitudes, and poor customer services that rendered daily. As bad as I strongly detest the entire license plate renewal process, even I couldn't make this up.

Fox6 reports,

We've all seen the video on TV, hundreds of people in line, waiting for hours to get their license plates and license renewals at the Jefferson County Courthouse.

A Fox6 viewer sent us the video. We'll call him Joe. We are not disclosing his identity.

Joe said he went to the courthouse and asked how he could get through the line faster. He said a Jefferson County Department of Revenue employee told him he could move to the front of the line if he paid a $40 fee.

Joe said he went along with it because he thought it was a joke. When he didn't pay the $40 he was kicked to the back of the line.

But he said he went back to the line at a later date, with his cell phone in hand to get proof. Joe said he turned it over to Fox6 because he wanted to know if this was happening to other people and because he thought it was wrong.

Employee Caught on Tape, Apparently Taking Money to Move Taxpayers to Front of the Line

The video is almost five minutes long. Joe walks up to the counter and asks the woman behind the counter if she still has his information. She said she deleted it and he gives her his name, address and phone number to get the process started.

Joe: "So, I have to pay $40 to keep from standing in line? Ya'll got a good little hustle going.

Jefferson Co. Employee: "Exactly."

The lines are frustrating for everyone customers and county employees. It seems the Jefferson County employee in this video is using that frustration to her advantage. Joe asked the employee several times about the money exchange.

Joe: "I thought ya'll were playing."

Jefferson Co. Employee: "No. Ain't nobody playing."

Moments later in the video, Joe challenges the employee: "I didn't know ya'll were going to charge me $40 to come over here."

The employee is heard reminding Joe it's not a joke and indicates others may be working with her: "Yes, you did because she told you over there before you came over here."

The employee is seen counting money from Joe. She puts the cash for his tags in the register or a drawer and puts aside the extra $40.

"This is for the tag," she said, while referencing one pile of cash.

"And this is ours," she is heard saying on the tape and appears to motion toward another person.

The Jefferson County employee is also heard on tape saying others have paid more to move to the front of the line. She can also be seen and heard laughing about it.

Joe: "I can't believe I'm getting extorted for $40."

Jefferson Co. Employee: "(laughs) You're not getting extorted. You're skipping the line."

Joe received his tag renewed in record time - about twenty minutes, but he said it cost him an extra $40.

Reaction from Jefferson County

We took this video to the Revenue Department Director Travis Hulsey. He watched the video while our cameras where rolling, but said he was unable to speak to us on camera for legal reasons.

Instead he gave us this statement:

"Any employee's behavior which betrays trust will not be condoned. It is unacceptable. Appropriate measures will be taken against any employee who exhibits inappropriate behavior and violates the public trust."

County Manager Tony Petelos confirmed that the employee that was recorded in our video has been put on leave.

At some point, Petelos said he will talk to us on camera.

The sheriff's department is also investigating, but it is important to note that the Jefferson County employee seen in the video has not been charged with anything as of Tuesday night.

The decision was made to conceal the employee's identity since she has not been charged. If and when she is charged, we will reveal her identity in the video and release her name.

Background on Jefferson County's Long Lines

The lines for car tags and other vehicle services are an ongoing problem in Jefferson County.

Jefferson County residents have stood in extreme temperatures and rain as the lines have extended outside the three courthouses where services are offered.

The county is cash-strapped and has layed-off hundreds of employees.

Three Women Rescued After Being Kidnapped and Held Captive For Over A Decade

What Is This World Coming To? Authorities have arrested three men today, who were responsible for the abducting and captivity of three women for over a decade. Two of the victims were identified as , Amanda Berry and Michelle Knight are believed to have been abducted over a decade ago- the third victim is believed to be the daughter of one of the victims, whom was actually fathered by one of the three men that are suspected of committing this foul act of kidnapping. This is, by far, one of the most disturbing cases ever to be broadcasted.

CNN reports,

"She was just walking around and naked," Samoylicz said. "We thought that was weird. We thought it was funny at first, and then we thought that was weird, so we called the cops. They thought we was playing, joking, they didn't believe us."

She said she had also seen tarps covering the backyard.

Another neighbor, Israel Lugo, said his sister got a bad vibe from the house and asked him not to let the children play unsupervised nearby. He said he heard yelling in the house in November 2011 and called police to investigate, but they left after no one answered the door.

Neighbors reported seeing the 6-year-old who left the home with Berry out playing sometimes at a neighborhood park. Lugo said he saw Castro at the park Sunday with a little girl and asked who she was: "He said it was his girlfriend's daughter."

But authorities never had any indications that the women were being held in the home or that anything suspicious was going on there, Cleveland Public Safety Director Martin Flask said. Neighbors had not provided any tips, he added.

Police had visited the home twice, authorities said Tuesday, once after Ariel Castro called about a fight in the street and another time to investigate Castro on an unrelated incident involving a child who had been left on a school bus.

Investigators also plan to inspect other properties possibly owned by Castro, according to Tomba. They haven't yet interviewed the women in detail to learn about their abductions and decade in captivity, he added.

"Our first and foremost concern was their mental well-being," he said.

Finally free

Berry was last seen after finishing her shift at a Burger King in Cleveland on April 21, 2003. It was the eve of her 17th birthday. DeJesus disappeared nearly a year later, on April 2, 2004. She was 14.

Michelle Knight vanished on August 22, 2002, and her family reported her missing the next day, Flask said. She was 21.

Little was known about Knight's case Tuesday. Her mother now lives in Naples, Florida, and was contacted by Cleveland police late Monday, a neighbor, Sheldon Gofberg, told CNN.

The three women and the child were released Tuesday from the hospital where they had been taken for evaluations, a spokeswoman said. Tomba said all four appeared to be in good condition, if in need of a good meal.

While amazing, such discoveries are more common now, said John D. Ryan, CEO of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

"To us at the National Center, this is not something that we find shocking any more," he said. "The fact is, we have seen more and more long term missing cases end up in the victim being rescued many years after their original abduction."

The most widely reported such incident in recent years was that of Jaycee Dugard, who was freed in 2009 after 18 years of captivity behind the home of a California couple. Dugard released a statement Tuesday saying the women who broke free in Cleveland "need the opportunity to heal.

Neighborhood watch has slowly deminished; however, this case along with so many other abduction cases, have proven that every neighborhood should have some type of surveillance. These types of incident would be non-existent if people would've have just paid more attention to their surroundings. It seems that this house had been reported on numerous occasions for unusual activity, and the police would visit. However, the police were too easy to allude; as the suspects would just not answer the door. The police should definitely be held accountable for some of the blame here because, they never followed up on the suspicions that were reported even after they visited and vacated the premises.

What Is This World Coming To? RHOA Ne-Ne Leakes has beef again. This time around, the beef is with her sister's of whom she shares the same mother. Reason being- Ne-Ne referred to them as her half sisters during the Real Housewives of Atlanta's Reunion Show Part 2. If you missed the reunion, then you missed Ne-Ne as she proceeded to call Phaedra out, on attempting to tape and throw shade at her by way of digging gossip via her half sisters.

Police Have Grounded and Cornered Possible Suspect In Boston's Marathon Explosions

Update: Authorities have confirmed that one of the suspects wanted for the Boston marathon explosions is dead, while the other suspect is still on the run. They have also advised the entire city of Boston on locked down; instructing all residents to stay put in door; an also advises them not to open doors for anyone. Police have also identified the individuals as brothers who are natives of Russia who have resided in the U.S. for an entire year.

Police sealed off densely populated portions of the Boston metro area early Friday after a violent night of chasing the Boston Marathon terror suspects left one of the men and a police officer dead.

The manhunt effectively shut down a large portion of the nation's fifth-largest metro area.

Explosions have erupted in Watertown, MA, moments ago, just days after the Boston, MA, marathon explosions.Since The Boston's Marathon explosion, an MIT campus police officer was fatally wounded. Not to mention, several robberies of multiple gas stations. Law enforcement has neither confirmed, nor denied that any of these incidents are directly related to the marathon bombings. This is indeed, one of the saddest, most intrusive moments that america has ever endured. Nevertheless, news sources are unclear as to whether or not there have been any suspects taking into custody thus far. Officials have identified two males in photos as possible suspects in marathon bombings.

The man in the dark cap with a black backpack is being called Suspect No. 1. The other man, Suspect No. 2, is wearing a white cap backward and carrying a lighter-colored backpack.

While now, it is clear that police have one suspect in custody and is currently searching for another suspect, after a string of robberies and the senseless shooting fatality of an M.I.T. police officer have followed the marathon bombings and now, a carjacking incident.

What Is This World Coming To?- Is a very legitimate question to ask, in light of this situation at hand. Mediatakeout.com has been known to fabricate a few stories and photo's; However, the website's most recent photo leak of Birmingham, Alabama's own NFL Star Kerry Rhodes, has set the net on fire. Aforementioned, Kerry Rhodes sexuality had been allegedly questionable. Nevertheless, the NFL safety stuck to his gun's that he was not gay but, supported the outted players in the league.

I guess mediatakeout.com didn't get that memo because, yesterday, the blog posted several photo's or what appears to be very much so, NFL Safety Kerry Rhodes accompanying a gay man by the name of Hollywood. Apparently a photo of the Rich Dollaz was evasively sent via email to none other than one of my favorite entertainment bloggers to date- Funky Dineva. Funky Dineva has since removed the photos off of the blog. After receiving an email per Rich Dollaz' Attorney's request. Apparently, the attorney questioned the validity of the photo's claiming that male captured in them were not Rich Dollaz. However; a day later Rich Dollarz called in to the breakfast club confirming that one of the photo's featured was indeed him. Rich Never confirmed which photo was him; but he at least owned up to one. Judging the tone of the interview, I guess Rich is denying the penis pic that accompanied another half nude photo. However, Angela Ye from the breakfast club clowns him about the small package featured here, and Rich replied, " I can send out pics of my penis, however the penis in the photo is not mine". Gucci Mane had been locked up since March 26 after allegedly assaulting a man with a bottle in an Atlanta nightclub.

A judge initially denied the rapper bail, but two days ago set bail at $75,000.

What Is This World Coming To? As I'm sure you all may know, Real Housewives of Atlanta's reality show cast mate, Porsha Stewart's soon to be Ex- Husband Kordell Stewart has officially showed oout; (sidebar I do mean showwwed OT). First and foremost, Mr. Stewart filed for divorce without so much as a mention of it to his wife. Next, he decided that he would showcase Porsha to the media as a bad wife, who never had time for her husband or his kid. Oddly enough, the divorce has been in the air, all but a few weeks, and judging from prior reports, Porscha never vacated the house.

Today, all hell broke loose, as Funky Dineva, +Quentin Latham, read Mr. Kordell Stewart his rights, When he reported,

Allow me to vent for one second. If there was ever any doubt in anyone’s other woman is.
mind if Kordell Stewart was gay or not, the stunts and shows that he is pulling should be confirmation that he is a sissy. It is bad enough that Kordell blindsided Porsha with a divorce, now he is locking her out of the home. The poor girl has had to call the police on two occasions to gain entry into the home where she lives. Additionally, Kordell has brought another woman into the home. Catch these T’s on why Kordell says Porsha is locked out and who the other woman is. Recently , Porsha filed a motion that claimed Kordell was locking her out of the house — and bringing another woman into the home.

But in his response Kordell claims he only locks the house at night for security purposes. He claims the real problem is Porsha frequently leaves home for several days straight … and sometimes comes back between 2:00 AM and 4:00 AM smelling like alcohol. I can’t verify if Kordell’s words are true or false, but the sure as hell feel like lies.

As for Porsha’s claim of “another woman” in the house — Kordell says it’s the nanny he was forced to hire because Porsha is “neglecting her responsibilities to her stepson.” NEWSFLASH, it probably wasn’t a real woman, but a tranny with a good weave. This right here has left me feeling some kind of way. A nanny? “Bitch please, he got a mammy. Send his ass back round her house.” Tania norSheree‘ have anything to do all day. I hate to sound cold towards children, but at this point in the game, and after being married for only 2+ years, what real duties does Porsha have to Kordell’s son. Is one reasonably expected to go through a messy divorce and continue to take another living woman’s child to soccer practice? Let’s be real Kordell.

In case you hadn't noticed, Kordell is not on Funky Dineva's favorites list. The,"my hair is laid hunty", Entertainment Blogger, was sure to read Mr. Stewart his rights, up close and personal. Funky Dineva's blog featured a story that he so candidly entitled, Kordell Stewart Once Caught Sucking D!CK In The Park.

This story was hilarious, as Funky Dineva called Kordell Stewart out for being gay, revealed his source as a messy ass police officer, and even alleges that Kordell is prepping himself to be Tyler Perry's husband. Father Arrested For Brutally Beaten Daughters In Twerking Video

What Is This World Coming To? Greg Brown has been identified as the crazed father who was caught on tape beating his teenage daughters like he was training cattle as the result of a twerk video that the girls danced in via Facebook. Apparently, Mr. Brown saw harm in them twerking but had no problem in exposing them to cruel and unusual punishment via the extension card that he used to blister and break skin on their bodies. Apparently, he was unaware of the recording of the entire incident. As a result, the girl's mother later witnessed the bad bruising and open wounds that resulted from this beaten and decided to get the authorities involved. Mr. Brown was arrested shortly afterwards.

Authorities arrested Brown and, and will have a strong case against him; simply because, they have exhibit A, the video tape of him relentlessly striking his daughters with no regards. However, there will be many opposing views on at the hands of this video. This type of beating has stirred two different sides of the pot. Some even agree that his behavior is justified; I however disagree. Nevertheless, he will have lots of time to elaborate on his abusive behavior behind bars. Thanks to this video. It's not surprising that Nicki Minaj's "High School" video features Lil Wayne. After all, he recorded a verse for the song and heads up the the label they're both signed to, Young Money. What is a bit odd, however, is the fact that the duo filmed a racy sex scene for the visuals.
Wayne has always played the mentor role to Minaj, notably having her back when she was insulted by a Hot 97 DJ before she was to take the stage at the radio station's Summer Jam concert. It's curious to see them playing these roles in a music video, but it's sure to get hip-hop blogs talking.
In the clip, Wayne and Minaj make off to an island to engage in some sort of shady business and end up falling into bed. After their tryst, they steal things and sneak off in a helicopter. *Cue Beats by Dre product placement.

Chris Brown Confirms..He And Rihanna Broke Up....

Uh Oh, Chris Brown confirmed earlier today that his relationship with Rihanna, is indeed over.

According to Fuse TV,

It's apparently all over for Chris Brown and Rihanna... again.
In an interview with Los Angeles hip hop radio station Power 106 Friday morning, Brown reportedly said that he and RiRi are no longer dating. When Power 106 asked Brown "Are you still with Rihanna?" the R&B singer-rapper answered, "Uh, no—that's the short answer."
Power 106 reported the news with the below tweet.

A radio station rep told Fuse that audio of the interview—which was conducted "this week" in L.A. and rolled out piecemeal—will post online shortly. To fans questioning the quote's legitimacy, Power 106 is standing by the statement, telling Fuse, "We wouldn't have tweeted it if it wasn't true."
Rihanna possibly addressed the split in a tweet at 5:00 AM Friday morning, writing simply, "This is terrible." Breakups are indeed.
Update: Rihanna has deleted the tweet, but a screen shot exists below.
RiRi later retweeted a message from a Pisces horoscope account: "It's the heart of a #Pisces that makes us soft mannered BUT is that same heart of a #Pisces that will make us get in your ass if needed."

The news comes two days after Brown told Billboard that he and Rihanna recorded a track for his upcoming album, X. "We did 'Nobody's Business' for her album. In return, she did a song for my album," Brown said. "It's a great song, but it's in the pot with all the other 40 songs."

Earlier this year Tatyana Ali celebrated her 34th birthday in Los Angeles. And after professing her admiration for Drake to the Huffington Post in January it appeared that the Grammy Award winner decided to charm the Harvard graduate by joining her during her birthday party at LA hotspot, “Supperclub.”
During an appearance on “The Wendy Williams Show” this week, Ali was put on the spot about her connection to the Young Money MC. “He is absolutely brilliant,” she gushed to Wendy before adding; “And I am a huge fan of his…I wasn’t popping bottles like that, but he got me a beautiful bottle of champagne and it fell down from the sky and I felt really special.”

While, I am actually fans of both artist; I for the life of me don't know why Keyshia Shuntae Cole would comment on anything that Queen Bey in doing. What Is This World Coming To?- Is more than just the title of this blog; Not one day passes without this phrase bearing cause to being uttered- at least on my behalf. Tuesday authorities arrested a las vegas woman for having sex in her backyard with a pit bull. This is extremely disturbing, first because she is nuts and second because she is nuts. Never,in my life, have I heard of such foolery; This is disgusting; I can't make this up. smdh

A Las Vegas woman was arrested Tuesday after authorities caught her having sex with a pit bull in her back yard, according to Metro police.
In an arrest report released Wednesday, police said they were called to a home in the 300 block of N. 16th Street, where 23-year-old Kara Vandereyk was engaging in sexual acts with the animal in full view of neighbors.
Police said the woman stood-up and greeted officers with a "Hi".
Vandereyk appeared to be under the influence of drugs or was mentally ill, according to the report.
Police said she could not identify herself and was unable to answer questions about the current date or name of the President of the United States.
Vandereyk is quoted in the report telling officers, "I'm bipolar." She also admitted to taking prescription medication but was not sure if she was on them at the time, police said.
Vandereyk is charged with open and gross lewdness.
The canine was taken into the custody of Animal Control.

What Is This World Coming To? Yesterday reports surfaced the net, reporting Rapper Lil Wayne's life threatening conditions. The reports broke first, courtesy of TMZ. However, members of Lil Wayne's camp are furious, and has since retracted the story as being false, therein accusing TMZ of falsifying details.

According to Rap Radar,

Mack Maine confirms the rapper is well and lashes out on

“Wayne is alive and well! We watching the Syracuse game…thanks for the prayers and concern..he will update you all soon. #love. We will be releasing an official statement shortly but dont believe the nonsense about comas and tubes to breathe…that’s false!! #FUCKTMZ @TMZ it’s certain shit you should not talk about or play with if u don’t kno what u talking bout….don’t deceive the fans or the people. @TMZ and definitely don’t try to kill a man before his time….so from the bottom of my soul and on behalf of my fam……FUCK YOU.”

This is extremely sad, if TMZ has stooped to the links of falsifying reports of someone's life or death situation, then that speaks volumes about them. Not to mention a teenage daughter who is very much social on social media networks, this has got to be devastating to her. What Is This World Coming To? Reports surfaced today, with the news that Rapper Lil Wayne is in critical condition following a seizure that he suffered at the hands of a syrup binge. Please keep Lil Wayne and his family and friends in your prayers; as this is an extremely trying time for them. Apparently, Lil Wayne was released prior to this incident, Wednesday for an apparent syrup binge induced seizure. Shortly, after Wayne's release, sources report that his security guard found him unconscious and unresponsive. My heart bleeds for his family and loved ones, as reports are beginning to surface that Wayne's family has been told to prepare to say their final good byes to the Love Me [Explicit] rapper. It deeply saddens me to have this news to report today; I wish I could yell," April fools" in March and this would all be a hoax; However, it's not ; I can't make this one up.

TMZ reports,

We broke the story … the 30-year-old rapper was rushed to Cedars Sinai Hospital in L.A. Tuesday night after suffering multiple seizures. He was released Wednesday but just hours later one of his bodyguards found him in his room, on the floor and unconscious.
Wayne was rushed to the hospital again, but this time he did not stabilize. He was taken to ICU, where he was placed in restraints because he was shaking uncontrollably.
We’re told Wayne is currently “unstable,” and has been placed in an induced coma. He is breathing through tubes.
We’re told several people are at Wayne’s bedside crying, and a number of rap artists and family members are on the way. Sources say the scene is violent as Wayne shakes uncontrollably.
Sources say there’s evidence Wayne went on a Sizzurp binge after being released Wednesday, because doctors found high amounts of codeine in his system.
We’re told Wanye’s stomach was pumped 3 times to flush the drugs from his system.
Update:

5:16 PM PT — We’re told Wayne is being given his last rites … with his family surrounding him to say their goodbyes
Lil Wayne Update:
6:30 PM PT -- Sources at the hospital tell us Wayne is still in critical condition in the ICU ... but stablizing.

We're told the prognosis is uncertain.

Wayne is sleeping right now ... which is odd, because he just tweeted saying he's OK and thanking people for the prayers and love.

5:16 PM PT -- Wayne's mother is currently on a plane flying to Los Angeles -- and we're told all major decisions about Wayne's health (including the decision to discontinue life support) will not be made until she arrives.
