Work To Sanctify Your Soul
Fr. Ed Broom, OMV
Work is good for us! Why? Jesus taught us the
importance of work by spending most of His time on earth in Nazareth
with Mary His Mother and Saint Joseph, His foster-father. Among the many
activities that Jesus carried out was that of WORK. True! Saint

Ten Tips for the Best Lent
Fr. Ed Broom
God gives in abundance, always, in all times and in all places! His goodness manifests itself most abundantly in His Mystical Body, the Church and concretely in the Church Liturgical Year.
The two strong times of the year are Advent, which culminates in
Christmas, and Lent which culminates in Holy Week and in the Risen Jill Clarehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16209342833246703437noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2406774709138791567.post-30134927997668665142013-12-27T16:26:00.002+08:002013-12-27T16:26:34.488+08:00Jill Clarehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16209342833246703437noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2406774709138791567.post-32394156761412221682013-12-27T16:25:00.002+08:002013-12-27T16:25:41.286+08:00Jill Clarehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16209342833246703437noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2406774709138791567.post-21381043621679907712013-12-27T16:18:00.001+08:002013-12-27T16:18:28.574+08:00

The word Advent derives from the Latin word meaning coming. The Lord is coming. We may reflect that every year at this time we celebrate his coming , so that in a sense we can lose the feeling of expectancy and joyful anticipation, because at the end of the season, everything seems to return to pretty much the same routine. If that is the case, then our preparation may have been lacking and weJill Clarehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16209342833246703437noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2406774709138791567.post-52366190013219121972013-11-04T11:49:00.001+08:002013-12-05T14:32:23.754+08:00
Stages of Sin from St. Bernard of Clairvaux – Fasten Your Seatbelt!
By: Msgr. Charles Pope
There
are just times when a saint speaks and one is stunned by the insight,
the piercing analysis, like a surgeon’s scalpel dividing diseased from
healthy tissue. Such is the case with a quote I read recently from St.
Bernard that Ralph Martin references in his Book “The Fulfillment of all
desires.”Jill Clarehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16209342833246703437noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2406774709138791567.post-30386383547296472702013-10-09T14:00:00.000+08:002013-10-09T14:00:34.501+08:00

IF YOU THINK
BACK ON YOUR LIFE YOU'LL REALIZE THAT NO ONE HAS MORE GIFTS THAN YOU DO
Forcing an issue can
burn a hole in what we are seeking. It can break it. There are times that in
His mercy, God grants that we can have something we have overly sought (just
as we occasionally give in to a child), but usually He puts up roadblocks,
