We installed a new front door in a house in Forest Hill this week. The door is a simulated oak fiberglass material which the homeowner did a great job of prefinishing.

We had to cut the floor tile for the door to fit properly.

Andersen Permashield Patio Door Installation

We have installed countless Andersen Permashield Patio Doors, but rarely take pictures. So I thought I would take a few pics of a job we did last week. We replaced two doors in a town home in Bel Air. The new doors are very energy efficient and operate so well. The homeowner called the next day just to tell us how happy they were with the new doors.....which made my day.

Andersen TW Window Replacement

Last week we replaced windows on the second floor of a Mansard style home in Bel Air. Originally they were Andersen Permashield Narroline Windows. We installed Andersen 400 Series Tilt-Wash Double-Hung Windows.

Geoff is starting on the second window on the east side of the house.

Our good friends Paul & Cheryl wanted to start the New Year with a few home improvements.

First up, a new front door!

We also replaced the old louvered doors on their pantry with solid wood raised panel doors:

And their kitty "Peg" needed access to the 'facilities' in the basement without the bother of opening the basement door:

We also painted the master bedroom, master bathroom and completed a list of other little 'handyman' projects around the house.

In the fall we installed an Andersen Frenchwood Hinged Door in the rear of a home. The homeowner was looking for allowing more light into the hallway where the door was located.

It did the trick!

Tilt Wash Conversion Kits

By far the best solution for new windows if you have post 1968 Andersen Windows in your home. It updates the existing Andersen 200 Series Windows to state of the art Andersen 400 Series Tilt-Wash Windows. We installed nine windows today and will hopefully complete the rest of the windows in the home next spring.

New Entranceway

We replaced a front entrance way in Forest Hill between Christmas and New Years. We were concerned about the weather, but it ended up being mostly sunny and close to 50 degrees. The homeowners were very pleased with the result.
