'Ello! Okay, so last night I was pondering whether I should do 365 photography project, but rather than for 365 days (which I could most definitely not handle), and I decided that I would do it for about 30 days starting today! This is definitely an initiative to blog more, plus it will help me relax after a long day. I will also try to include things that I don't do that often such as outfit of the days and things like that! So for today I quickly snapped a picture of two products that I have been enjoying using! The first is the PINK body spray that I picked up around my birthday. It's smells just like sweet tarts and lychees mixed together and literally can't stop smelling myself when wear this! The second is a body butter from the body shop which was a gift from my friend. It smells divine! I can't exactly put my finger on the scent (even though it's supposed to smell like cherries) but if you stop by the body shop give it a try. Plus it's very moisturizing.

Since I am home sick today, I finally had a couple of minutes to actually take proper pictures to make a post! I just thought I would update you all on my current beauty routine which I have been loving! I am in one of my phases where I am tired of putting on eyeshadow and I just want to go out with a fresh face, so whenever I do wear makeup (which is not very often) I have been focusing on an airbrushed face, with mascara.

The combination of primer (Bare Minerals PrimeTime), HD foundation (Make Up Forever HD foundation), and a matte bronzer (Hoola Bronzer), gives me a flawless face, and then I go back in with a powder highlighter (Dior Amber Diamond) to add some glow on my cheekbones, the bridge of my nose and and under my brows. I then fill in my brows with any matte brown eyeshadow (not pictured here). To finish off the look I add two coats of lash primer (Diorshow Maximizer) and two coats of black mascara (Benefit Badgal lash).

This routine actually works wonders! The key to this is to not add makeup where you don't need it. I only apply the primer and foundation where I have things I want to cover up, like under my eyes and near my t-zone. I don't cake my entire face with makeup. Also you need a good brush. I use my Sephora Airbrush #55 to blend after every step. I would recommend all these products, they are all on my favorites list!

Hello! You can probably tell by my new layout and this post that I am so ready for spring and pops of bright colors! Totally forgetting the fact that right now it is snowing outside and the temperature is below freezing, haha! I am going to be staying up really late tonight to study, but I really felt the need to procrastinate so I created this wishlist of things that I am currently wanting. Top on my list: Wildfox Couture Jumper, Michele Color Jelly Watch, Laura Mercier Creme Brulee Perfume and Prada Candy Perfume. Also hoping to collect some loose tees like the one in the picture! These things have seriously been on my list FOREVER. I really want to get a Michele Jelly colored watch, which will be perfect for spring and summer and to add to any outfit! The jumper would be great for lazy days and I am currently lusting over wildfox couture clothes right now. I have also been leaning towards more sweet scents lately and these two are seriously amazing, can't wait to get my hands on them! What are you girls currently lusting over?

hello! It's my birthday today!! I am so happy that I had today off from school too, I am so not ready to get back to reality! I went out to dinner a couple of night's ago for my birthday and the makeup I wore is in the picture above. I also got an assortment of gifts, I bought the Dior Amber Diamond highlighter with a gift card I got and I am over the moon! I have been wanting this for about 2 years but I have never wanted to make the splurge but I finally did it and I am so happy! I also got my Sephora birthday gift which was the fresh sugar lip balm. Most of the other stuff my parent's purchased for me. I didn't really do anything exciting today, just being lazy. I am going to have a little birthday celebration with my family tonight but other than that I am just organizing for exams I am going to be taking soon. This past week has been so great with the holidays and everything, but now I have to work hard until summer. And also, Happy New Years!

So a couple of weeks ago I had a small celebration for my birthday (which is actually on January 2nd) and one of my friends got me this amazing gift! I don't think that you can get this set anymore, as it is sold out online and I didn't see it in stores anymore, but I am going to be telling you about the products in it, as they are amazing!

Bella Bamba: I have been wanting this blush ever since it came out this summer (I think?). Benefit always does a great job with their boxed powders and this is no exception. It is the pefrect watermelon pink with some shimmer in it. I usually go for more coral peachy tones but trust me, this is a must have and I think that it is suitable for all skintones. Not to mention that it smells really nice, like fruit punch!

Ultra Shines Lipgloss in Foxy Lady: I love everything about this lipgloss starting from the color, to the smell, to the wear. The color is a nice watermelon pink with some duochrome shimmer. I like that it's not too pigmented so it's easy to put on the go. This also smells like fruit punch and tastes like it too! It also wears really nicely. You don't get any goop or anything like some other lipglosses do. It's nice and light and feels amazing on the lips. Wear time is average but once you start eating and drinking it's gone, but I don't really have a problem with that. Overall amazing and I really want to try some other colors from this line!

Badgal Lash: One of my favorite mascara's of all time. Huge brush, gives you nice voluminous lashes, and feels soft on lashes not crunchy at all which is a major plus. I think that this mascara is mainly for people who already have naturally long lashes and want to add onto that, it won't do anything that amazing if you want it to completely change your lashes. The formula is dry though, just wanted to mention that.

Girl Meets Pearl: amazing, I have a review here!

+ Edit: Someone pointed this out, I forgot to include that the blush and lipgloss are full size, the highlighter and mascara are mini's, but they are VERY generous!

Hope you enjoyed this review!

Hi!! I hope you all had an amazing and fun Christmas with your family and friends! My Christmas was really relaxing. My family exchanged presents then I literally spent the entire day just watching christmas movies and reading before we went to a Christmas party! I didn't get too many presents, some drugstore lipsticks from my dad (lol), sweets, money, and my biggest present was my HTC evo tablet (which I have been using non-stop)! I also got the Ralph by Ralph Lauren perfume a couple of weeks ago as a Christmas present to myself and let me tell you, it is to DIE for. My friend constantly raves about this and since I only really like to wear fruity fresh scents, it's perfect. I have the rest of the week off so I am hoping to update with you some more blog posts and pictures!

I finally got my hands on the extremely hyped about revlon lip butters ! Every single drugstore around my house is sold out but I headed to New York for my brothers birthday and when I saw these at target I literally made a run for them. Most of the colors were sold out but I managed to pick up tutti frutti and creme brulee both which I am very happy with. Honestly, these deserve all the hype they are getting. They are the perfect mix between a lipstick and a lipbalm. When I wear these I get a decent amount of pigmentation but my lips feel moisturized and supple. You defientley do not need a lipgloss with these, they are so shiny! The packaging is also a MAJOR plus! One down side however is that they are very soft so have to be careful not to be to "rough" with them otherwise they will get all over the packaging.

Tutti Frutti: a nice orange/coral mix. it makes your lips look amazing if you look good in corals! In the summer it would be so pretty to wear with just a couple of layers of mascara and nothing else.

Creme Brulee: The perfect nude, especially if you are dark skinned. Not so opaque that it makes you look dead and the sheen adds a nice touch!

overall, I would definitely recommend these to ANYBODY! I picked them up for about $7 each and I would repurchase over and over again.

So I finally got my laptop fixed, which had all my pictures from India, which is why they are about 4-5 months late (sorry!).

The heat was actually ridiculous. It wasn't just hot. Since the dessert is so dry you literally feel like you are being cooked even in the shade. If you have ever been in the dessert you know what I am talking about, dry heat.

I rode a camel for the first time! It is SO much more scarier than you think. It was just me and my brother on the camel and I was literally cursing for the first 2 minutes because I thought I was going to fall off. Again, it's scarier than you think it is!

Poor people over there don't normally beg for money, most of them beg for water.

There are some beautiful handmade goods over there, I am going to make a collective haul post on all the things that I purchased from India!

Many cities are known for their distinct colors. You can see in one of the pictures above, the city literally looks golden because they used golden colored sand to make all the buildings. Another city, which I had no time to visit is pink, which is also based of the color of sand they use!

All the women in Rajasthan dress in bright bold colors literally all the time. It's their way of living. It's honestly beautiful!

As we were traveling through the rural areas, we encountered so many different herds of animals I lost count. We saw countless herds of sheep, cows, and camels. Like 100-150 animals in each herd.

We saw peacocks! I wasn't able to capture a picture of one but they are so beautiful!

Going to the sand dunes were my favorite part of the trip, it honestly felt like the movies, it was surreal.

If you have any other question just ask me on formspring (that way I can directly reply under the question which you can't do on my blog). Other than that I hope you enjoyed this post and if you are ever traveling to India I recommend visiting Rajasthan, you will have an amazing experience!

Hello ! I am glad that I am finally having time this weekend to blog and catch up on some posts and youtube videos. I have actually been really really obessed with room decor right now, if you follow my tumblr then you might have seen some cute bedroom pictures that I have been reblogging for the past couple of days. Right now I am in the process of revamping my vanity that I bought for dirt cheap weeks ago and I am also setting up shelves to store all my shoes on. My bedroom is colored coral and has black furniture but I am really craving a light colored room for my closet/makeup room so I am thinking all white furniture (and the walls are already painted mint green).

On another note I stopped by the mall today to use a Banana Republic gift card plus I had a 50% off coupon so I scored a chunky knit sweater that was originally $110 for $15, I seriously love shopping during this season because you can get amazing deals! I am now off to finish some work, watch some TV, and then to bed!

So if you guys read my winter wishlist post then you know that I have
been craving for some nude flats for this winter. Since my weekend
started yesterday I found the time to go pick these Steve Madden
beauties from DSW. Originally they were $70 but I got them for $40,
which I think is a pretty good deal. Ugh, in love! Technically they are
taupe colored but they are nude enough for my skintone. Honestly, I
actually needed these because I don't really like wearing boots (my feet
get to hot), and I can't really be wearing sandals in the snow. I only
have gold and black ballet flats, but I can literally wear these with
any outfit. One thing is though is that they do show a lot of toe
cleavage, which doesn't really bother me, but if you don't like that,
then don't pick these up!

I don't really have anything planned for today but I might make a
stop at the Thai restaurant I posted about a couple of weeks ago,
seriously best food that has ever gone in this belly ;*

happy halloween! Literally just sitting here typing this post while eating the candy I got trick -o- treating today. Believe or not I still go trick or treating and I went with a couple of friends this year and it really fun!

This year I decided to go as a skeleton. I have literally seen
skeleton makeup everywhere recently and I was SO excited to try the
look. I bought some cheapo white face makeup from Party City and it was
so easy to recreate this look from black eyeliner and eyeshadow. I wore a black shirt and pants. Simple and easy. It's not like I was going to wear anything else in this ridiculously cold weather (about 36 degrees Fahrenheit).

The weather I have been having here is quite ridiculous. My school was cancled today as well as tomorrow, which is rare. I shouldn't say the weather itself, more like the effects of the weather. We literally had snow in October which is crazy, but the fact that we had snow while there was still fall foliage was the problem. Since the snow was very wet and heavy, it was perfect for making snowmen, but when it collected on all the leaves, trees broke because all the snow was too heavy to carry. I literally have three broken trees in my yard. RIP. Although I am quite happy about the snow days not gonna lie.

Right now I am on my way to finishing up some work then I am going to watch the latest episode of Dexter before heading to bed.

Hope you all had a safe and happy halloween! Did you all dress up as anything, leave it in the comments if you did!

Since the school year has started I have found myself leaning more
towards fashion rather than beauty. It has always been that I love
beauty more, but with only minimal time to get ready in the morning, I
find that I would spend time on fashion rather than my makeup. Some days
I don't even wear makeup to school! That being said I have been
spending endless time looking at on line websites and such, lemming over
clothes and accessories! On Friday I actually went to Nordstroms and
was amazed to find their junior section, which I have never been to
before. Seriously they have everything I want for winter fashion, and at
affordable prices as well. I definitely plan on shopping there more for
this coming season. I made a picture collage of some of the things that
I have been wanting for winter. Mostly including lace, and chunky
knits. I also really want a pair of nude flats. The House of Harlow necklace has been on my wish list for quite a while and it would be perfect for this winter. Ugh, so many things I want. Maybe a shopping spree for my birthday? I
picked up two of the things that I mentioned on my wishlist in my last
post. I got a simple black cardigan from Guess and some dark wash skinny
jeans. The jeans I got from Ralph Lauren Denim and Supply because I didn't find nice ones at Banana Republic. Great nonetheless. I hope to pick up a couple of more things in the coming weeks!

hello! As you might have noticed I have hardly been posting at all, my apologies! All that I literally have time for these days is sleeping, eating, and working. It's Saturday today but I still had to go into school early to take a standardized test so I took the rest of the day to relax and catch up on some more work (surprise surprise!). I gave myself a mani and changed up my nail color from OPI's Linkin Park After Dark to Revlon's Minted, a beautiful seafoam green! Currently I am siting in my bed, eating Haagen-Dazs Java Chip ice cream (which by the way is heavenly), doing some economics homework, and watching Harry Potter movies with my Yankee Candle Christmas Cupcakes candle burning.

Also lamenting over the fact that I don't have enough money to buy all the things on my wishlist. -__- Honestly right now I am more into fashion right now more than anything (even beauty). Things on my list right now: Guess faux leather jacket, Michael Kors earrings, Guess black cardigan, Jefferey Campbell Lita Heels, and Banana Republic skinny jeans. Sigh. Oh, also on the look for some new "fresh" perfumes since all I have right now are floral ones and I miss my DNKY Bedelicious one dearly, even though it is fall.
This thursday I had off from school because of the jewish holiday and after I finished all my work I went out to lunch with my mom and went to the mall afterwards! The thai food was absoultley delicous, nom nom. We ordered red curry, seafood noodles with basil sauce, and fried calamari. I also tried the thai iced tea which was amazing.

The main reason I went the the mall was because I had a coupon for Yankee Candle and I wanted to stock up on some winter/fall candles. I chose the spice pumpkin and christmas cookie because not only do I love sweet sugary scents but I decided that for this fall, pumpkin is my new favorite thing. Ever. From deserts to candles I love it all.

I also got an eyeshadow from NARS called California. When I saw it I fell in love because of the rich coppery red color, I thought it would be perfect for a fall look. I also got a YSL mascara sample which I am uber excited to try as I have heard rave reviews about it.

The last stop I made was Express and I found the most perfect tops. One is a flowy blouse thats a blush pink and the other one is a completely sequined top, love!

Girls, I honestly think I have a addiction to either Revlon, or lip products because lately I can't get enough of either. Yesterday I stopped by CVS and picked up a plethora of red and warm lipcolors, plus one nail polish. The nail polish was and impulse buy. I had heard michele1218 on youtube talking about it in one of her recent videos and when I saw it at my CVS I grabbed it right up, as there was only one left. I plan on doing a NOTD for you with it on, I put it on last night and I really do love it!

Now onto the lipcolors, in order of apperance, I bought: Rosy Nude, Fire and Ice, Certianly Red, Rum Rasin, and Crystal Lilac (lipgloss).I am contemplaing doing an seperate review on these because I honestly love these so much. Revlon is one of those brands from the drugstore which I love everything from!

Hope your weekend was as relaxing as mine!
A couple of weeks ago I stopped by the revlon factory outlet to take a look around and I ended up getting some darker toned makeup for the fall time! I purchased two eyeshadows, which I though would be good for a simple smokey eye, a lipstain in the color Lust, and a nail color in Hazy which I put on now and I LOVE it!

Sorry for the lack of posts and commenting on other blogs, as soon as the school year has started my life has literally been a whirlwind. Also shout out to Maria for tagging me in the 'Top 10' blog award! Thanks so much!

All I plan on doing this weekend is doing homework (what's new?), watching movies, sleeping, and welcoming fall with homemade vanilla lattes.

So after basically neglecting my makeup brushes for 2 months (eeek! very embarrassing....) I decided I would clean the whole lot before school started. A perfect oppurtunity to do a blog post on it!

1) First order of buisness is the stuff I use to actually clean the brushes. Now, I am not really picky about this AS LONG as the stuff I am using is good enough to use on my body and hair. If it's good enough for me then it's good for my brushes. I really never spend money of expensive makeup brush cleaner. I got this phillosopy stuff free from Sephora for my birthday. I don't really care for it to much even though I used it a couple of times however it is perfect for cleaning my brushes! Basically you can use any shampoo. My recommedations are Dove body wash and Johnson Baby shampoo!

2) So first I soak all the brushes in water first, and then one by one I wash them with soap. Always make sure that you don't get to much water near the rim beacuse that can ruin the quality of the brush. I add soap in the palm of my hand and I take brush by brush, dipping the bristles in a tiny bit of soap and then washing in a circular motion along the ridges of my hand. I do this for all of my brushes then one by one I do the same cirular motion with out soap and in running water to clean all the soap and makeup out.

3) After washing, I shape the brushes to their original shape and lay them to dry horizontally on a towel, that way the water will not get to the rim. After a couple of hours they are good and ready to use!

I hope this was not too confusing and helpful to at least some of you! Hope you had and amazing weekend and have a great week!

In other news: You know that makeup room that I was talking about a couple of months ago? Well yesterday I went to a rummage sale and I found a dresser/ vanity that would be perfect. It's in okay condition and I am going to refurbish it but guess how much I got it for? $15! Seriously. And it comes with a chair, a mirror and the actual dresser. After I work on it, it's going to be perfect!

hello girlies! Well, this weekend has been fun/stressful to say the least. School started this week and I seriously forgot how hard it is to wake up at 6:00 AM every morning. .__. Friday after school I just decided to relax so I came home from school, slept for 4 hours, and instead of having dinner, I made s'mores then watched Bollywood movies! Saturday I cleaned my room and went to a party, but today is just reserved for schoolwork which I am stressed out about. Anyways, I am trying to get my India posts up but the laptop on which I uploaded the pictures on is being kinda weird so I have to sort that out. I hope you all have a fabulous week!

PS: do you like the header change? I decided I would make something different since now we are moving into fall/winter!

I quickly stopped by at the mall today to pick up some body lotion which I ran out of and tops for back to school since school for me starts next week! I got the new scent (in the form of a body lotion) from Bath and Body works called Paris Armour. I love the packaging plus it's a beautiful scent (very sweet). Plus I got a mini body lotion to keep in my handbag. Next I made my way over to Bloomindales where I picked up some basic tops and also a really cute striped cardigan from Aqua! Highly, highly recommend their clothes, I honestly just got into their brand and I am in love with the quality and the designs. Last two things which I didn't mean to pick up was the leather wrap bracelet from Forever 21 which I have been dying to get and a new handbag from NYandCompany. Overall a sucessful shopping trip.

I really can't believe that I start school next week, seriously, I want more summer! Even though I am excited for fall, I am not excited for the workload that I took on this year. Sigh. On a happier note, I took these pictures using the 35mm lens from Nikon that I recently got and straight off the bat I can tell you that I am in love with this lens. Why didn't I get it before?

I bought this dress not to long ago from Bloomingdales (it's from Lipsy London) and I absolutely love it! It's easy to dress up and down. I paired it with some leather sandals heels, silver jewelery, false lashes, and red lips. If you have any questions about the specific makeup that I wore let me know! Have a great weekend!

I am finally back home after a month in India ! It feels really good to be back at home and sleeping on an actual bed (we were sleeping on a tile floor in India because the bed we ordered was not ready yet). Honestly after my trip I can't tell you how many things that I would normally take for granted. Right now I am having minor jet lag, but mainly I am doing summer work and watching movies. I am also trying to catch up on about a months worth of blog posts and youtube videos! I will soon be making some 'travel' posts on the different places that I visited in India including the beautiful sights I saw and some of things I got.

Below is the henna that I got done at a mall in India a couple of days before I left. Henna in India is one of the things I look forward to everytime I go because seriously the henna artists are so amazing ! Such skilled artists.

I literally walked into the shop and was like "I NEEED them all!" They are so breathtaking and I can't wait to wear them! honestly, they are stunning ! when I finish my "walk in closet" I am going to get some bracelet displays and keep them all on there. The bangles in the last picture are silver with 20kt gold plating.

If anybody wants me to get some for them make sure you email me! They are VERY affordable for the quality and none of the sets would be over $25. If you want me to pick some up for you find some way to contact me so I can get them for you while I am here, I can literally get you any color! (contact options in the sidebar or down below)

So it's been about a week and I am finally over jet lag. I have done alot of shopping here for skincare and jewelery which I will blog about today ( I am uploading pictures right now ). One thing I can tell you guys is that it is so freaking hot and humid here, omg! You literally take a shower, walk outside and start sweating puddles (thank goodness for air conditioning). The flight was SO long, about 24 hours in total , ugh, very exhausting! A couple of things about india: One, the shopping here is amazing, two, there are so many freaking people here that alot of people are rude because of the "competition" involved with everything, three, it is hard to see beggars on the street (mainly the homeless children). Overall I am having lots of fun here, even though it is kind of a different lifestyle. talk to you all soon ! <3

After you look over the fact that my cuticles look horrible, I think this is one of my most favorite nail polish combinations of the summer. These two polishes complement each other beautifuly and I literally can't stop looking at my fingers. Tropical temptation by Revlon is one of my favorite colors ever, (of all time) and while it can be a little tricky to apply, I find it completely worth it. Queen of Beauty by Sinful Colors just needs a couple of coats, and then it's perfection! How do you like this nail look?

I am freaking obsessed. The colors from this line are phenomenal, the texture is so luxurious, the packaging is so amazing; the only thing that I would say is a downside is that the colors are not really long lasting. However if you buy a dark color like this one you can get four hours of wear if you are careful! Now onto a quick review:

swatch from: temptalia.com

why I love it so much:

- Packaging: seriously, they payed so much attention to the packaging it's amazing. You can see the color of the lipstick from the strip of color on the outside and the lipstick is cased in a beautiful gold. Now, is the packaging really that important? No, but it sure makes it fun to apply!

- Texture: So so creamy, more than any other lipstick I have ever tried (which cuts down on the longevity, but whatever.) It glides on very easily, kind of like a insanely pigmented gel? Go to sephora and swatch it !

-Smell: Smells fruity! Like mango iced tea or something like that!

-Color: Obviously I love this plumy burgundy color (I love all the colors from the line). I bought this color because simply I imagined myself wearing it with just face makeup, mascara, and this lipstick. Simple but sophisticated.

Overall: so pleased with this product, and I will be definitely be buying myself some more in the future! The only downfalls would be the longevity and the price tag ($34- ouch!).
