Director Edgar Wright and actors Simon Pegg and Nick Frost reunite for a third film following the successes "Shaun of the Dead" (2004) and "Hot Fuzz" (2007). In "The World's End," 20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hellbent on trying the drinking marathon again.

They are convinced to stage an encore by Gary King (Simon Pegg), a 40-year-old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their hometown and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub – The World's End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind's. Reaching The World's End is the least of their worries.

It opens on July 19 for Ireland and the Uk, August 23 for the US.

The cast so far has been an interesting mix with Matthew McConaughey taking the lead being joined by Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and just recently added Michael Caine.

A new 3 minute trailer has arrived for 'Man Of Steel' on the back of a viral video message from General Zod (Michael Shannon), in which the Kryptonian demands that the people of Earth hand Kal-El over to him.

From Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures comes “Man of Steel,” starring Henry Cavill (“Immortals,” TV’s “The Tudors”) in the role of Clark Kent/Superman, under the direction of Zack Snyder (“300,” “Watchmen”).

The film also stars four-time Oscar nominee Amy Adams (“The Master”) as Daily Planet journalist Lois Lane, and Oscar nominee Laurence Fishburne (“What’s Love Got to Do with It”) as her editor-in-chief, Perry White. Starring as Clark Kent’s adoptive parents, Martha and Jonathan Kent, are Oscar nominee Diane Lane (“Unfaithful”) and Academy Award winner Kevin Costner (“Dances with Wolves”).

Yes after much dicussing that can be seen in the teaser below from North Norfolk Digital the Alan Partridge movie now has a name and that name is 'Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa.'

The film will centre on Partridge host seeing his station North Norfolk Digital being taken over by a giant media conglomerate.. Events take a dramatic turn when Alan is drawn into an armed siege that takes him across Norfolk.

Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa is set for release August 7.

The first trailer for Joss Whedon's modern take on Shakespeare's classic comedy 'Much Ado About Nothing' is now below.

Filmed in just 12 days entirely on location in exotic Santa Monica, the film features a cast of beloved (or soon to be beloved) actors - some of them veterans of Shakespearean theater, some completely new to the form. But all dedicated to the idea that this story bears retelling, that this dialogue is as fresh and intoxicating as any being written, and that the joy of working on a passion project surrounded by dear friends, admired colleagues and an atmosphere of unabashed rapture far outweighs their hilariously miniature paychecks.

Shot in glorious black and white by Jay Hunter, the film stars Amy Acker and Alexis Denisof as Beatrice and Benedick, the world's least likely lovers headed for their inevitable tumble into love. As Joss Whedon puts it: "The text is to me a deconstruction of the idea of love, which is ironic, since the entire production is a love letter - to the text, to the cast, even to the house it's shot in." Sam Mendes Turns Downs Bond 24

Sam Mendes has officially ruled himself out of directing 'Bond 24,' he told Empie:

“It has been a very difficult decision not to accept Michael and Barbara’s very generous offer to direct the next Bond movie. Directing Skyfall was one of the best experiences of my professional life, but I have theatre and other commitments, including productions of Charlie And The Chocolate Factory and King Lear, that need my complete focus over the next year and beyond."

"I feel very honoured to have been part of the Bond family and very much hope I have a chance to work with them again sometime in the future."

Empire also got a response from producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, who are also hopeful we'll see another Mendes-directed Bond movie in the future:

"We thoroughly enjoyed working with Sam, he directed our most successful Bond movie ever, Skyfall. We would have loved to have made the next film with him but completely respect his decision to focus on other projects and hope to have the opportunity to collaborate with him again."
